Abstract

Dewasa ini, penggunaan lengan robot dalam dunia industri telah berkembang pesat. Lengan robot merupakan perangkat elektronik yang digunakan untuk menggantikan tugas manusia dalam dunia industri. Umumnya, digunakan sebuah sistem kendali tertentu untuk meningkatkan tingkat keakuratan dan efektifitas kerja lengan robot dalam pengaplikasiannya. Dalam penelitian ini, dirancang sebuah sistem kendali lengan robot menggunakan user interface yang digunakan untuk mengendalikan motor servo AX-12+. Perancangan dilakukan untuk prototype lengan robot, yang diintegrasikan antara user interface, FPGA-Virtex4, modul bluetooth, dan motor servo AX-12+. Dari hasil pengujian antara lain komunikasi antara user interface, FPGA, dan motor servo AX-12+ lengan robot dapat bergerak dengan dua derajat kebebasan (atas/bawah dan kiri/kanan) dan dapat bergerak dengan tingkat akurasi yang tinggi. Sedangkan untuk utilisasi dari FPGA, sistem ini hanya menggunakan kurang dari 5% register yang ada dari FPGA, sehingga sistem ini berpotensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi lebih luas.

Abstract

Bagi orang-orang yang sibuk setiap harinya, menggunakan jasa binatu memberikan keuntungan bagi kehidupan mereka. Namun, salah satu kerugian menggunakan jasa ini adalah terjadinya kehilangan atau tertukarnya pakaian kita dengan pakaian  orang  lain. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah karena  penyedia layanan binatu tidak  menggunakan  sistem  atau  alat  yang  dapat  mengidentifikasi kepemilikan pakaian tersebut secara otomatis.Untuk mengatasi kelemahan tersebut diperlukan sistem identifikasi pakaian dengan  menggunakan  RFID  dan notifikasi melalui SMS. Pada sistem identifikasi ini,  pakaian pelanggan yang telah dipasangi tag RFID akan diidentifikasi menggunakan pembaca RFID yang sama-sama bekerja pada frekuensi 13.56MHz. Selanjutnya ID yang terdapat di tag tersebut diproses oleh mikrokontroler untuk dikirimkan ke PC dan disimpan pada database pelanggan dengan tampilan berbasis web. Setelah proses pencucian dan pengeringan selesai, pakaian diidentifikasi ulang agar tidak tertukar dengan pakaian dari pelanggan lainnya serta dibandingkan jumlahnya agar sesuai dengan identifikasi awal. Setelah dipastikan jumlahnya sesuai sistem akan mengirimkan notifikasi SMS ke pelanggan untuk menginformasikan bahwa pakaiannya telah siap diambil.Sistem ini dapat mengidentifikasi pakaian dengan prosentase keberhasilan pembacaan ID 100%. Waktu yang dibutuhkan sistem dalam mengirimkan notifikasi SMS ke pelanggan secara rata-rata adalah 30 detik.

Abstract

In recent years, cases of motor vehicle theft that occurred in Indonesia, especially in metropolitan cities, are indicated by a high crime rate. Various efforts have been made to suppress this curanmor number for example by using a keyless system on motors used in high-end motors. The need for this system is increasing along with the vigilance of motorcycle owners for the safety of their personal vehicles. Facial recognition-based motor keys using the ESP32-CAM module are designed as an alternative to the safety system on motorcycles equipped with relays as switches to disconnect and connect the motorcycle's electricity. The working system designed on this tool uses facial recognition technology that can distinguish the face of the owner of the motorcycle from the one that is not so that the listed and recognized face will connect and disconnect the electrical current of the motorcycle so that the motorcycle can be started and vice versa. From the implementation and testing process with 40 trials, the tool can distinguish the face of the owner of the motor with the face that is not the owner of the motor as much as 80% for the correct condition and 17.5% for the wrong condition.

Abstract

Industry uses autonomous mobile robots in assisting human work. However, the robot is not aware of its position within an indoor environment. Localization systems that use GPS are less effective when applied indoor. an alternative is Visible Light Communication (VLC) technology utilizing LED lights in the room. It should be noted that a localization system is quite important for knowing the position and location of the mobile robot while in operating. In this project, a localization system based on VLC zones is designed. The data used is transmitted from the LED lighting lamp to the photodiode as an identity (ID) of the lamp. The photodiode captures the light of the LED lamp containing the ID. The decoded output from the photodiode, as the receiver, is the location information displayed by nine LED indicators. The results of the experiments show that the transmitter can send information signals according to the programmed ID, i.e., zone a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, and i. The receiver side can obtain the ID of LED with an accuracy of 80% and thus show the localized zone of the receiver. The best distance achieved between the transmitter and receiver in VLC communication is 20 to 100 cm using a 20W LED. The maximum zone range of each lamp is in the area of 32 × 32 cm2 and the receiver can identify the nine zones accordingly based on the signal sent by the transmitter.

Abstract

Based on data from the Indonesian Traffic Corps by September 2019, the number of car accidents was dominated by rear-hit crashes with 6,966 accidents. Most of these accidents occurred during car convoys. It needs a car-to-car communication to increase driver awareness. One of the technologies that can be applied is Visible Light Communication (VLC) and infrared communication. The transmitted data are the vehicle speed data, throttle position, and brake stepping indicator. The data are obtained by reading the Engine Control Unit (ECU) in the car. The data are packaged from the three data and sent to other cars at day and night using VLC and infrared communication. The experimental results show that in a communication system that uses VLC, data can be exchanged between cars during the day up to 2 meters and at night up to 11 meters. Otherwise, in infrared communication, vehicles can communicate during the day up to 2 meters and at night up to 0.7 meter. The test was also carried out with some conditions such as rain, smoke, passers, and other vehicle lights.

Abstract

Informasi untuk mengetahui lokasi benda atau seseorang merupakan salah satu hal yang penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Selama ini, teknologi Global Positioning System (GPS) dapat diandalkan ketika berada di luar ruangan. Namun, ketika di dalam ruangan, GPS akan sulit menjangkau secara spesifik area bangunan. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi Light Fidelity (Li-Fi), Indoor Positioning System (IPS) akan lebih mudah dilakukan dan mempunyai keunggulan dari segi akurasi dan efisiensi energi. Tetapi, jika dikaitkan dengan IPS, pemasangan lampu Light Emitting Diode (LED) perlu diperhatikan geometri pemasangannya. Penelitian ini membahas akurasi IPS pada Li-Fi apabila dengan berbagai bentuk geometri dan lokasi pemasangan lampu LED yang berbeda-beda. Teknik positioning Received Signal Strength (RSS) digunakan dengan mengambil kuat daya terima sebagai estimasi suatu jarak. Dengan membandingkan masing-masing bentuk geometri, maka didapatkan data konfigurasi terbaik untuk implementasi IPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan jumlah lampu LED dan bentuk geometri akan berpengaruh terhadap akurasi positioning. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa geometri segi enam memiliki rata-rata error yang lebih kecil dibandingkan geometri yang lain, yakni sebesar 1,53×10?05m. Semakin banyak lampu LED atau poin referensi dengan rentang jarak lampu yang lebih rapat, maka dapat menghasilkan positioning yang lebih baik. Kata Kunci: Light Fidelity (Li-Fi), Indoor Positioning System (IPS), Received Signal Strength (RSS), Geometri.

Abstract

Visible Light Communication (VLC) is a technology that allows the sending of data information through visible light that will be received as a piece of information. In its implementation, a sensor can send information data using VLC in this technological era. One model of data transmission that is widely used in life is to use radio frequency or better known as wireless.In this final project, a transmitter and receiver of data is realized through the transmission of light, this device consists of a lamp as an electrical converter to light, a photodioda as a converter of light to electric, and receiving data. Through the realization of this tool we can know that the transmission of data through light can occur can be used to transmit data. Data transmitted in this final project is the result of three sensor data namely temperature sensors, gas sensors, and fire detection sensors on the transmitter and on the receiver used firebase to monitor data. From the test results produce parameter values such as distance with a maximum distance of the data is accepted either 45cm, 50cm of data is damaged and 55cm of data is not accepted, the variations in angles and distances show that at a distance of 10cm it can receive data well from an angle of 0ᵒ to an angle of 35ᵒ, a distance of 35cm and 40 cm at an angle of 10ᵒ the received data is damaged and at a distance of 45cm and 50cm at a 5ᵒ angle cannot receive data and as well as the sending speed parameters obtained at a baudrate of 2400 bps, 4800 bps and 9600 bps the data sent can be received well.

Abstract

The use of electricity for large loads such as buildings and industry is a 3-phase electrical system. The manual activity of recording or monitoring data on electricity usage is considered impractical, so the use of IoT devices can be a solution. However, sending data on IoT devices using wired communication and Wi-Fi is considered less suitable considering that the device will be placed in a panel room that is rarely covered in the network. So that the use of other IoT communications such as LoRa can be an option. Therefore, the design and manufacture of LoRa-based IoT devices was carried out. This is done to expand the scope of IoT devices in carrying out 3-phase kWh meter readings. The device sends data through LoRa communication with test parameters, namely RSSI, SNR and throughput. The device made is an interface between a 3-phase kWh meter with LoRa communication which includes a MAX485 IC, ATMega 2560 microcontroller, and LoRa RFM95W communication module. From the test results, the device can send 3-phase kWh meter data every 3.611 seconds with an average throughput of 957.231 bps. LoRa communication performance used in LOS conditions can reach 300 meters with RSSI -107.625 dBm, SNR -13.063 dB. Meanwhile, in non-LOS conditions the lowest RSSI was -103.338 dBm and the lowest SNR was -8.897 dB.

Abstract

Weather observation is one of the important factors in agriculture. Data from weather observations can be used for various things, including to predict future risks due to these weather conditions. An Automatic Weather Station (AWS) is needed to read weather conditions continuously. Some of the devices that will be built for the AWS system are data communication, sensors, and power supply. AWS is usually installed in certain areas where there is no power source. Hence, it takes a power supply system that can stand alone and has a security system that can monitor the components connected to the system in real-time. This research successfully designed a power supply system for a weather station that is equipped with current and voltage measurement features for its load as well as a warning system feature in case of interference on GSM SIM900-based Weather Station. Based on the results of the study the system using solar cell modules has an efficiency of 14,1% and is supported with the help of batteries that can be recharged through solar energy. Using the INA219 sensor to measure the voltage and load current connected to devices that have an error percentage value of less than 1%, the data is then uploaded to Thingspeak. Testing of warning systems at the Weather Station is conducted using Magnetic reed sensors capable of detecting changes when the separation distance between the sensor and other magnets is more than 3cm.

Abstract

Innovations in the field of wireless communication are growing very rapidly in line with the behavior of modern societies that have high mobility, need of the flexible services, easy access, and high speed data transfer to facilitate any activities of its users. The needs of every user of any variety are more than just voice, video, data transfer, up to a demanding streaming multimedia capabilities and reliability of the communication system used. One of the factors that affect the quality and speed of data transfer in wireless communications is modulation. The development of technological modulation allows data transfer rate to become faster, more resistant to noise, and have high security (encryption) in order to secure data sent over the lead. The implementation of digital modulator PSK (Phase Shift Keying Modulation) and QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) on FPGA is designed to simplify the design of a hardware by representing the input which is prepared by using the VHDL programming language. The input will be programmed by logic gates contained in the FPGA into a circuit that functions as a digital modulator. This device can map the input bits into a modulator output that has been mapped in accordance with the coordinates of the constellation. The expected results of the implementation are three types of digital modulator, namely: BPSK, QPSK and 16-QAM to be implemented on FPGA Xilinx Spartan-6 XC6SLX45 CSG324C; modulation type to be used can be selected by entering input on the programs implemented in the FPGA. In the design used input from laptop devices with UART interface and data types for input is ASCII 8 bit for later analysis simulation results modulation of the input to each modulator using Modelsim for simulation design and Chipscope for simulation system design implemented in the FPGA.
