Abstract

This research aims to analyze the application of the group learning model in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) through a literature study approach. The group learning model is known to have various benefits, especially in supporting the cognitive, social and emotional development of early childhood. This study uses qualitative methods by examining various literature sources such as scientific journals, books and related articles. The results of the analysis show that the group learning model is effective in improving children's cooperation, communication and self-confidence. Apart from that, this approach also creates an interactive and fun learning environment, which can motivate children to actively participate. However, the group learning model also has disadvantages, such as passive students who will be left behind, if collaboration is not effective, conflict will occur, and teacher supervision is more intensive. The successful implementation of this model depends on the competence of educators in designing appropriate activities and collaboration with parents. This study recommends strengthening training for educators to optimize the implementation of group learning models in PAUD.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest in reading and writing due to the diversity of media used in early literacy education in early childhood so that it is not uncommon for children to avoid doing literacy activities. This study was conducted to see the use of  digital flashcard media  to introduce early literacy in early childhood. By using a descriptive qualitative research design involving 8 children in group A and 2 classroom teachers. Data were obtained through observation, and interviews. The data will be analyzed using thematic analysis which consists of recognizing data, generating code, finding themes, reviewing themes, naming themes and then narrating data so as to produce a report. The results of this study show that the use of  digital flashcard media  can help teachers in introducing early literacy and children look enthusiastic and interested in reading and writing using  digital flashcard media  because they are presented with sounds, images, and text. So this media is very helpful for children in introducing letters in an easier and more interesting way. However, in the use  of digital flashcard media, it is necessary to pay attention to the size, color, and material that will be presented to children. The implication in this study is that  this digital flashcard media  can be an alternative for educators in introducing early literacy to children before using reading books.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penggunaan media digital pada pembelajaran di jenjang pendidikan anak usia dini. Tujuannya yaitu untuk mengetahui tahapan dari penggunaan media Digital Flashcarddalam pengenalan literasi pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini berfokus pada kelompok A dengan usia 4-5 tahun yang terdiri dari 18 siswa di salah satu TK di Kecamatan Purwakarta dan 2 guru kelas pada kelompok A. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, dan wawancara. Data yang terkumpul akan dianalisis dengan analisis tematik melalui enam tahapan, diantara tahap pengenalan data, tahap perolehan kode awal, tahap pencarian tema, tahap peninjauan tema, tahap penamaan tema, dan tahap penulisan. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa penggunaan media digital flashcard ini perlu melalui beberapa tahapan, di antaranya tahap pengenalan, tahap penjelasan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap mengajukan pertanyaan, dan tahap pemberian reward. Tahapan tersebut dapat membuat pembelajaran lebih terarah, bermakna dan membuat anak lebih tertarik. Artikel ini dapat menjadi panduan bagi guru dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis digital.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to describe the process, obstacles and solutions to teacher-parent communication patterns in increasing student learning motivation during the pandemic in grade 3 elementary school. Methods: This type of research is field research using Grounded Theory. Participants in this research were 20 parents and students as well as two teachers at an elementary school in Jepara. Data collection was carried out by interviews, observation and documentation with primary data sources including homeroom teachers, parents and students. The validity of the data uses a credibility test with triangulation techniques. Researchers carry out data analysis using several stages, namely problem formulation, use of theoretical studies (if necessary), data collection and sampling, data analysis, and drawing conclusions. Results: The results of the research show that: 1) Teacher and parent communication patterns in increasing student learning motivation during the pandemic in grade 3 elementary school are divided into three forms, namely: One-stage communication pattern, the communication pattern carried out by parents does not provide feedback to Teacher. Two-stage communication pattern: communication between teachers and parents has feedback. In the three-stage communication pattern, the communication carried out has feedback, and the communicant here can convey the information he obtains to other people. 2) Barriers to communication patterns, namely parents as communicants do not immediately provide feedback, and sometimes the feedback does not match the message conveyed by the teacher. 3) The solution is that parents must take the initiative in giving messages. Motivate children to be patient, open and empathetic, provide religious education as early as possible, and provide encouragement. Conclusion: This research reveals communication patterns between teachers and parents to increase student learning motivation during the pandemic. Communication patterns are divided into three stages, with challenges such as delayed feedback from parents. Thus, it is necessary to involve parents proactively, to take communication initiatives, form patience and empathy in children, provide religious education as early as possible, and provide ongoing support, thereby creating an environment that supports student motivation and learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus untuk mengeksplorasi dan memahami rencana strategis pencegahan bullying pada anak usia dini. Enam subjek penelitian, yang merupakan informan utama, dipilih dari lingkungan pendidikan anak usia dini. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dan Fokus Group Discussion (FGD). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola tematik yang muncul dari data wawancara dan FGD. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rencana strategis pencegahan bullying yang efektif harus melibatkan semua pihak terkait, termasuk guru, orang tua, dan pihak sekolah. Pendidikan menjadi aspek kunci dalam upaya pencegahan, dengan penekanan pada pemahaman mendalam tentang dampak bullying dan cara mengembangkan karakter positif pada anak. Promosi lingkungan positif juga dianggap penting dalam mencegah bullying. Lingkungan yang mendukung, ramah anak, dan mempromosikan norma-norma perilaku positif dapat menciptakan kondisi yang tidak mendukung tumbuhnya perilaku bullying. Selain itu, intervensi dini diakui sebagai langkah proaktif yang krusial untuk mengatasi masalah sejak dini sebelum memburuk. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa rencana strategis pencegahan bullying pada anak usia dini memiliki dampak positif dalam membentuk karakter dan kesejahteraan anak-anak. Melibatkan semua pihak terkait, fokus pada pendidikan, promosi lingkungan positif, dan intervensi dini dapat membentuk dasar yang kokoh untuk mencegah dan mengatasi bullying di kalangan anak usia dini. Implikasi praktis penelitian ini dapat memberikan panduan bagi pengembangan kebijakan dan program pencegahan bullying yang lebih efektif di lingkungan pendidikan anak usia dini

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest in literacy in children and the demands from parents for children to be proficient in reading and writing. So, this study aims to analyze the strategies used by educators in introducing early literacy in early childhood. This study used a qualitative case study method with four early childhood education teachers at PAUD Purwakarta as subjects. This data collection technique uses interviews. The results of the interview will be analyzed using Grounded Theory analysis. This data analysis uses three stages, namely open coding, axial coding, and selective coding. The results of this study are the strategies used by educators in introducing literacy to early childhood, such as creating an environment rich in children's literacy including labeling each object, providing wall pictures or writing, and providing a reading corner. Then, prohibiting literacy through reading materials includes selecting books or reading materials, involving children in reading activities, and sharing writing experiences. Not only that, but educators also provide strategies through games, songs, and movements, as well as role-playing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the foundation of character education holistically and integratively, the actions and actions of educators in their role in developing character education holistically and integratively, and parental involvement in the character education model holistically and integratively in PAUD Terpadu Aisiyah Cirebon City. The results of this study can be concluded that the foundation of moral, moral, character education holistically and integratively in PAUD Terpadu 'Aisyiyah Cirebon City uses the foundation of religion, local culture, and objective values of the nation. Character values can be taught systematically in the holistic character education model as follows: a) Habituation (habituation and good culture); b) learning good things (moral knowing); c) moral feeling and loving, feeling and loving the good; d) moral acting; and e) the moral model of the surrounding environment. The teacher is to integrate the child's character in intellectual, moral, and physical development in an integrated manner; and 4) parental involvement in character education through parenting class activities.
