Abstract

Metodologi penelitian kuantitatif maupun kualitatif telah berperan dalam menghasilkan ilmu pengetahuan. Tetapi metodologi apa yang tepat digunakan dalam mengembangkan ilmu keperawatan masih saja menjadi perdebatan. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk menganalisa kekuatan dan kelemahan metodologi kuantitatif dan kualitatif dalam mengembangkan salah satu konsep dalam keperawatan yakni perilaku caring perawat. Pada akhirnya terlihat bahwa apapun metodologi yang digunakan oleh peneliti, maka metodologi tersebut haruslah konsisten dengan paradigm dan filosofi keperawatan yang mendasari penelitian tersebut. Both quantitative and qualitative research is useful in generating knowledge. Even though the most appropriate methodology for generating nursing knowledge is still being debated. The main purpose of this paper is to analyze the strengths and the limitations of these two methodologies in generating one of the conceptual themes in nursing: nursing behaviors. Finally, whether the research chooses a quantitative or uses a qualitative approach, the approach should be consistent with the paradigm and nursing philosophy that intended research.

Abstract

Background Epilepsy is a common neurological disorder found inall races and age groups. Epilepsy becomes a serious problem when occurs during the child's critical development period. It is known that onset, frequency, and duration of seizures are associated with IQ level. Therefore, intelligent assessment is important to determine prognostic and holistic management.Objective To determine the association between onset, frequency, duration of seizure and IQ level in epileptic children.Methods This cross sectional study was carried out at theDepartment of Child Health, Hasan Sadikin Hospital, Bandung,Indonesia from October to December 2007. The subjects wereepileptic children aged 4-16 years old being treated with valproicacid. Statistic analysis was done using logistic regression analysis, OR and RR, with 95% confidence interval.Results There were 90 subjects with epilepsy (46 males). Twentysubjects (22%) showed onset of seizures at < 18 months old; these subjects had 3.08 higher risk for having a low IQ level (score <90) compared to those with seizure onset at~ 18 months old (P=0.003). Sixty subjects (67%) had a seizure frequency of> 10 times annually; they had 1.68 higher risk of having a low IQcompared to those with seizure frequency< 10 times (P=0.430).Seven subjects (28.0%) had seizures of> 10 minutes; they had 1.17 higher risk of having a low IQ compared to those with seizures of < 10 minutes (P=0.706).Conclusion Onset of seizures at < 18 months old is significantlyassociated with low IQ level, while frequency and durationof seizure have no significant association with lower IQ level.

Abstract

The University is an institution of higher education and research that provides academic degrees in various fields. One of the vision and mission of Higher Education in the city of Batam is to become a leading tertiary institution and to carry out high quality education with the aim of producing quality graduates and competent human resources in their fields. One of the influencing factors is the lecturer performance. This study aims to determine the level of student satisfaction that is influenced by lecturer performance in lectures with data mining techniques using the C4.5 algorithm where the variables used include reliability, responsiveness, appearance, empathy and assurance. The research objective is to predict the level of student satisfaction with the performance of University Lecturers in the city of Batam in the teaching and learning process. The benefit of this research is to find out the performance of a College Lecturer in order to produce quality teaching staff and quality education. Data Mining with C4.5 Algorithm, the process of classifying data and looking for patterns so as to produce interesting information in data in decision making. Based on the results of research conducted, the decision tree with manual calculation of the C4.5 algorithm is the same as the decision tree produced by Weka software with the resulting accuracy level of 94.12%. Then it can be concluded the prediction of student satisfaction on the lecturer performance is satisfied.

Abstract

Stunting has been a problem in Sendoyan Village, with its prevalence rate exceeding 30%. Nevertheless, handling stunting is not easy in that it requires an integrated approach, including how to increase the knowledge of mothers and families about stunting. This community service aimed to enhance the knowledge of mothers with stunted children regarding their parental roles and the proper disposal of feces. The program commenced with initial surveys and counseling at the posyandu (pos pelayanan terpadu), followed by several home visits involving health cadres. The preliminary findings showed that mothers with stunted toddlers were not able to choose the proper food for their toddlers and that there were still families who did not defecate in proper places. The counseling at the posyandu appeared to benefit the participating mothers even though they had to juggle with their responsibility of caring for their toddlers. Accordingly, the home visits, when conducted properly, could be an effective way to deliver the knowledge to the mothers. The public health centers (puskesmas) should also equip the health cadres with sufficient knowledge in childcare, making them ready to transfer the knowledge in stunting prevention to the mothers.

Abstract

Dalam melakukan penuntutan jaksa penuntut umum dapat melakukan tindakan prapenuntutan terhadap berkas perkara yang dinilai belum lengkap.Prapenuntutan ini dilakukan sebelum berkas perkara diajukan ke pengadilan. Prapenuntutan ini dimaksudkan agar berkas perkara dapat dilengkapi, sebab berkas perkara tersebut nantinya akan digunakan sebagai dasar bagi jaksa penuntut umum dalam mempersiapkan penuntutan di depan sidang pengadilan. Tindakan prapenuntutan sangat penting guna mencari kebenaran materiil yang menjadi dasar dalam proses penuntutan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan pasal 110 ayat (1) KUHAP dalam perkara Nomor REG.Penyidik : PDS-02/PKRTO/02/2013 di Kejaksaan Negeri Purwokerto dan hambatan yang timbul dalam perkara tersebut. Kata Kunci : Pra Penuntutan dan Tindak Pidana Korupsi.

Abstract

The development of computer technology in Indonesia is currently growing rapidly. In line with this the development of the Potato Seed Center (BBI) of potatoes was also developing, as was the case at the Kerinci Regency mother's seed plant. Processing of potato hatchery and hatchery development reports has not been computerized because it still uses Microsoft Excel, causing some problems including making reports on the development of potato hatcheries and searching for data takes quite a long time. This led to a weak processing of hatchery data processing systems and the development of reports on the development of Kerinci Regency potato seeding. Seeing the above problems, a potato seeding information system at the Central Seed Agency (BBI) was made using a C # programming language that had used a database and used Crytal Report to assist in the development of a report on the development of potato seedlings in the potato seed plant in Kerinci district.

Abstract

Mathematics is a science that is widely used in everyday life such as used in trade transactions, carpentry, and so on. But until now many people think that mathematics is a subject that is considered difficult and difficult to understand, especially for junior high school students. Though mathematics itself has been taught starting from the level of childhood and elementary school. Because learning methods still use conventional methods such as the ability to write and count, this is what makes students feel bored because moreover some students do not like these math subjects. Not only in terms of subjects and learning media is still conventional in nature that is only based on the book. For this reason, a learning media is created which is packaged in an android-based application by including elements of mathematics learning in it. The application that was designed was a junior high school level mathematics education quiz application, with the aim of training students 'ability to count, train their memory and increase students' interest in learning in mathematics.

Abstract

Background: CAPD is one of a few therapy that can be used to replace the kidney function. A good patient perception of CAPD can increase the self-efficacy of patients undergoing CAPD. The majority of CAPD patients are HD patients who have a perceived experience of both physical and psychological discomfort. The research objective was to determine the relation between perceptions of CAPD measures and self-efficacy in patients undergoing CAPD. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples of 75 respondents was selected by consecutive sampling technique. Results: The logistic regression test results show that there is a relation between perceptions of CAPD measures and self-efficacy in patients undergoing CAPD with the confounding variable that affected by social support. Conclusions: Nurses need to improve their abilities when assessing patient perceptions and increasing the role of social support, so that the information obtained becomes the basis for increasing self-efficacy in patients undergoing CAPD.

Abstract

Abstract: Meta Analysis of the Effectivenecc of Problem Based Learning and Problem Solving in terms of Critical Thinking Ability of Elementary School Students. In quantitative research, Meta Analysis aims to determine whether the Problem Based Learning and Problem Solving learning model has a high influence on improving critical thingking skills in elementary school students. the techniquenused used is the  Effect Size technique analysis with the Effect Size formula. The instrument used was a worksheet instrument for coding the result of scientific publications that were searched through the internrt. The variables studied to obtain information about the magnitude of the effect of thus Effect Size are the Problem Based Learning and Problem Solving learning models as independent variables, and critical thingking skills as the dependent variable. From the results of the research the has been done, it shows that the measurement results of critical thingking skills in learning using the Problem Solving learning model are significantly higher than Problem Based Learning, meaning that the Problem Solving learning model is more effective in increasing the critical thingking skills of elementary school student. Judging from the Ancova test, the average value of Experiment 2 in the Problem Solving learning model is 83.3000 higher than the Problem Based Learning model of 76.0420. based on the results of the calculation of the hypothesis test using the Ancova test using Univariate which shows that the significance value is 0,009, which means less than 0,05 (0,009 < 0,05). From the Ancova test, it shows that F count > F table is 11,311 with a significance of 0,009 < 0,05, which indicates that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. From the resultas of this test, it shows that the Effect Size of the Problem Solving learning model is significantly larger that the Problem Based Learning in terms of the critical thingking abilities of elementary school students. Keywords: Meta Analysis, Problem Based Learning, Problem Solving, Critical Thingking Skills. Abstrak: Meta Analisis Efektifitas Problem Based Learning Dan Problem  Solving Ditinjau Dari Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Sekolah Dasar. Dalam penelitian kuantitatif  Meta Analisis bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Problem Solving memiliki pengaruh yang tinggi terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada siswa sekolah dasar. Teknik yang digunakan adalah analisis teknik Effect Size dengan rumus Effect Size. Instrument yang digunakan yaitu instrument lembar kerja pemberian koding terhadap hasil publikasi ilmiah yang ditelusuri melalui internet. Variabel yang diteliti untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai besar pengaruh Effect Size ini adalah model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Problem Solving sebagai variabel bebas, serta keterampilan berpikir kritis sebagai variabel terikat. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukan bahwa hasil pengukuran keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Solving lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibandingkan dengan Problem Based Learning, artinya model pembelajaran Problem Solving lebih efektif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar. Dilihat dari uji Ancova, nilai rata-rata Eksperimen 2 model pembelajaran Problem Solving sebesar 83,3000 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning sebesar 76,0420. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji Ancova menggunakan Univariate yang menunjukan bahwa nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,009 yang berarti lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,009 < 0,05). Dari uji Ancova menunjukan F hitung > F tabel yaitu 11,311 dengan signifikansi 0,009 < 0,05 yang menunjukan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dari hasil uji ini menunjukan bahwa Effect Size model pembelajaran Problem Solving lebih besar secara signifikan dibandingkan dengan Problem Based Learning ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: Meta Analisis, Problem Based Learning, Problem Solving, Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the limited material in printed books, the book is distributed to students one book for two people and distributed when the learning process is only in school, this makes the learning process very ineffective, for that students need additional teaching materials, especially reproductive system material at school. contraceptive method sub material in the family planning (KB) program. Research conducted in February 2020 aims to produce valid teaching materials for the reproductive system of SMA / MA. The method used in this research is the 4-D model method. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive method. The instrument used in this study was a validity test questionnaire, which was conducted by 3 expert validators, namely 2 lecturers and 1 teacher. The results obtained from the validity test showed a validity value of 86, 9% with very valid criteria because it was in accordance with the content standards, basic competencies and core competencies that had been set.
