Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials for work and energy in the form of modules using an experiential learning model with a contextual approach in improving the learning processes and outcomes of SMA Negeri 2 Tondano students. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Tondano. The research method used is the research and development method by following the stages of Borg and Gall. The development steps are as follows: 1) preliminary study, 2) development study, 3) product testing and model validation. Based on the results of device validation from material experts and media experts, learning tools reached 100% and 95.83%, respectively, so that they were included in the very valid criteria. The results of the student response questionnaire on the display aspect with a percentage of 86%, the presentation aspect of the material is 81%, and the benefits aspect is 84%, and the student learning outcomes based on the average comparison of the pretest and posttest scores respectively are 27.79 and 75.92. So that the development of experiential learning model teaching materials with a contextual approach is quite effective in improving student learning processes and outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran model experiential learning dan teknik penilaian kinerja pada mata kuliah termodinamika. Metodologi yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini menggunakan mix method dengan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Development, dan Desseminate). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah perangkat yang dihasilkan adalah “Valid” dan dapat digunakan tanpa revisi. Hasil tersebut menjelaskan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berupa modul, LKPD dan materi model experiential learning dan teknik penilaian kinerja yang dikembangkan efektif digunakan pada kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran semakin pesat di era teknologi digital tahun 2023 Hal ini menuntut para calon guru untuk menguasai penggunaan teknologi digital dalam membuat media pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan seberapa efektif model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap hasil belajar.  Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu quasi-eksperimen dengan desain one grup pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Negeri Manado semester 5. Teknik pengambilan sampel purposive. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa tes hasil belajar mahasiswa dalam bentuk uraian sebanyak 10 soal, dari hasil tes tersebut dilakukan uji n-gain. Hasilnya menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan nilai rata-rata pretest 45 dan nilai rata-rata posttest 77. Hasil analisis n-gain adalah 0,57 yang menunjukkan kategori keefektifan sedang. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran mata kuliah pengembangan media pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek efektif terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan peningkatan pengetahuan dan tentang pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis digital.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the temporal and spatial function of water temperature and the function of the dynamics of Lake Tondano water temperature gradient. This research method was carried out on two transects, namely at the cultivation site and outside the fish farming site. By taking data at nine different depth positions for 24 hours. Measurement time starts at 05:00 am to 05:00 am, with a time interval of 2 hours. Measurement positions according to vertical distance from the top of the water surface are 0 cm, 10 cm, 30 cm, 60 cm, 100 cm, 150 cm, 220 cm, 300 cm and 400 cm. Data processing is done by arranging the data format in matrix form, then analyzed using a program or software that includes temporal and spatial functions, functions and area of the gradient dynamics field. The results of this study show mathematical modeling that produces a continuous function of temporal and spatial changes in microclimate variables that allow the development of new parameters, namely water temperature gradient dynamics. The study was conducted on two different transects with lake ecosystem and environmental conditions that showed that the area of the field formed by the daily dynamics curve of the water temperature gradient was different for both transects.

Abstract

This research was carried out to determine the application of project-based learning models with contextual approaches to the material of the equilibrium of rigid objects to student learning outcomes. The method used in this study is an experiment with the design of one grub pretest-posttest design. The research sample amounted to 25 learners. The data analysis in this study used SPSS 25. From the results of the data analysis obtained an average pretest value of 30.55 and a posttest value of 91.29. The results of the hypothesis test using the Test-t paired sample test obtained a sig value. (2-tailed) is 0.000<0.05. So the data shows that there is an increase in student learning outcomes using a project-based learning model with a Contextual approach. Thus it can be concluded that the average score of the results of learning physics learners who are given treatment by using the application of project-based learning models with a contextual approach is higher than the average physics learning outcome when not given treatment.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the application of a project-based learning model with a STEM approach to the material of thermodynamic laws to student learning outcomes. The method used in this study was pre-experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design. The study sample was 28 learners. Data analysis in this study used the SPSS 25 application. From the results of data analysis, the average pretest value was obtained 49.82 and posttest 80.54. From hypothesis testing using the t-test paired sample test obtained sig values. (2-tailed) is by 0.000 0.05. then the data shows that there is an increase in student learning outcomes using a project-based learning model with a STEM approach. thus, it can be concluded that the average score of physics learning outcomes of students given treatment using the application of a project-based learning model with a STEM approach is higher than the average score of physics learning outcomes before being given treatment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve learners' learning outcomes by using Project-Based Learning (PjBL) models with a demonstration approach to mechanical energy materials. The method used in this study was an experiment with the design of one group pretest posttest desaign. The research sample amounted to 25 learners. Data analysis in this study using SPSS 22 From the results of the data analysis obtained an average pretest score of 54.75 and a posttest value of 79.17 the results of the hypothesis test showed that there was an increase in learner learning outcomes using the project-based learning model with a demonstration approach. Thus it can be concluded that the average score of the learning outcomes of learners who are given treatment by using the application of project-based learning models with a demonstration approach is higher than the average physics learning outcome when not given treatment.

Abstract

Thematic-Exploratory-Democratic Learning (TED-L) is an instructional strategy that encourages students to engage in high-level thinking through exploring objects around them and democratic interactions. The aim of this study is to investigate: 1) The outcomes of exploring the physics context-concepts from students' empirical experiences themed around water in TED learning, and 2) How students' democratic interactions contribute to exploring the physics context-concepts from empirical experiences in TED learning. This research employs interpretative qualitative research methodology and data analysis using Miles and Huberman's model. It is part of a collaborative research comprising 3 stages out of the 6 overall stages of TED Learning: 1) Building TED Attraction Literacy, 2) Object Exploration, 3) Exploring individual learning attitudes and democratic learning attitudes. The findings of this study are: 1) Examining empirical experiences leads to a process of high-level thinking formed as an attempt to solve problems. 2) Democratic interactions enhance students' creativity, increase analytical levels, and foster critical thinking among learners, as well as boost engagement in exchanging and adding new information related to physics concepts in exploring empirical experiences.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the process and learning outcomes of students on static fluid material using the Project Based Learning Model with the demonstration method. The research design used is a one group pretest posttest design. The sample in the study amounted to 15 students. Data analysis in this study used the help of the SPSS 22 application. Research data were collected using test instruments in the form of essay questions consisting of 5 questions and project assessments based on the rubric used. The results of the project assessment rubric obtained in the learning process were 97% with a very good value category and the project assessment results were 82% with a very good value category. Then the analysis using one sample t test obtained sig. (2-tailed) value is <0.001 where the value obtained is smaller than the value of 0.05 so that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Thus it can be concluded that the project-based learning model with the demonstration method can improve the process and learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

This study aims to design a feasible, effective and practical magnetic field demonstration tool used in physics learning at school. This demonstration tool is a Tesla Coil which is a coil that oscillates and produces a magnetic field. The method used is development research (R & D) 4D model. This research was conducted in October 2024 at Karitas Tomohon Catholic High School for 25 students. The results of the study were seen from three aspects, namely feasibility, effectiveness and practicality. The feasibility results were obtained through the assessment of a team of material experts and media experts. The final result of the media expert team assessment was 93.75% and the material expert team assessment was 91.66%. Effectiveness data is obtained from student learning outcomes data through pre-test and post-test instruments. Through the T-test analysis, there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of control class students and experimental classes. Practicality data is obtained through a questionnaire filled out by students. Practicality analysis shows a value of 85.23% in the strongly agree category and 14.76% in the agree category. Teacher response to the product scored 93%.T hus it can be concluded that the Tesla Coil Demonstration Tool is declared feasible, effective and practical to use in learning activities.
