Abstract

This research was done due to the lack of research on the learning media used in the Buddhism, and the manners related to the field of information and technology in the state Junior High School 1 Getasan, as well as the learning media in used at “PUTRA DHAMMA” educational game on the subject of Buddhist education. This research attempted to develop educational games “PUTRA DHAMMA” and get to know the feasibility of the response, as well as the students’ development in using the educational game “PUTRA DHAMMA” as a medium of learning to support the Buddhism and manners for students class VII state Junior High School 1 Getasan. The research was a research and development (R & D) using the PPE (planning, production, evaluation) model. The stages in the development of education games “PUTRA DHAMMA” consisted of three stages, namely: (1) planning or design; (2) production; and (3) evaluation. At the evaluation stage the validation on educational games “PUTRA DHAMMA” by experts on the media and the material, and teachers of Buddhism was performed. Educational games “PUTRA DHAMMA” were then tried out on 20 students of classes VII and VIII state Junior High School 1 Getasan. Data collection techniques were done through interviews, observation, and questionnaire. The data obtained from the questionnaire were then analyzed in qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods. The research results show that the rate of the feasibility of the educational games of “PUTRA DHAMMA” as a supporting medium of learning based on educational games are as follows: (a) assessment of the feasibility from media experts scores the average of 4.50 with the percentage of the feasibility of 89% in the category of very feasible; (b) assessment of the feasibility from expert of the of material received the avarage score of 3.79 with the feasibility 76% in the category of feasible; (c) assessment of the feasibility by the practitioner received the average score of 4.62 with the feasibility of 93% in the category of very reasonable. The assessment results from the students on the education games “PUTRA DHAMMA” are feasible with the average of 4.56 with the percentage feasibility of 91%. Thus the educational games “PUTRA DHAMMA” are worth to be used as a medium supporting the learning of Buddhist education class VII in State Junior High School 1 Getasan.

Abstract

The success of the students in education is influenced by the role of a supervisor who is able to direct the students on fun learning conditions. Children’s difficulties in understanding the subject matter are commonly found in learning activities. Teachers often use a lecturing method and rarely use media in teaching. The lack of use of the media in the process of learning makes learning less varied. One way to get children's attention to focus and engage their interest on the learning of Buddhism at the SMB is the use of tools or learning effective media, namely hand puppet show. This study aims to foster student interest Kusala Sikkha Buddhist Sunday School (BSS) Vihāra Dhamma Sukha Kenteng through the use of the hand puppet show media. This research is a classroom action research with 15 students as research subjects at primary school student in BSS Kusala Sikkha Vihāra Dhamma Sukha in Kenteng. The data were collected by questionnaire interest, observations, interviews, and documentation. The descriptive data were analyzed qualitatively through the stages of the cycle. The results showed that the use of hand puppet show media or a puppet show is very effective to foster the students’ interest. This was evident from the results of the study which showed an increase in the students’ interest in the first cycle to reach an average of 15.25, and the second cycle reached an average of 19. Thus, interest in students’ learning after the implementation of action rose up to 3.75. Increased interests were seen from four aspects, namely: (1) intention: the students were very enthusiastic and active in group discussions, students were happy and excited; (2) diligence and seriousness: the students were able to complete the story well and focused on thelearning activities; (3) concern: the students listened and appreciated the story themes from other groups; (4) attitude: the students dared to tell their friends spontaneously using hand puppets and were able to explain the story line well. The effectiveness of the hand puppet show media in increasing student interest in the first cycle was 76% and increased in the second cycle reached 95%. The above description shows that the media hand puppet show can increase student interest BSS Kusala Sikkha.

Abstract

Lettuce is one type of vegetable plant that is widely consumed by the community because lettuce has high nutritional content and good economic and agribusiness potential. Agricultural products, especially vegetables, are easily damaged. Damage to agricultural products can occur starting from the producer/farmer level, due to harvest and post-harvest handling. Analysis of the added value of post-harvest handling of hydroponic lettuce at Kebun Bertani Agro Farm aims to 1) describe the post-harvest handling of hydroponic lettuce at Kebun Bertani Agro Farm. 2) analyze the amount of added value due to post-harvest handling of hydroponic lettuce at Kebun Bertani Agro Farm. Data were collected using interview and observation methods using the hayami method. The results of this study are 1) Post-harvest handling carried out at the Bertani Agro Farm garden includes sorting, trimming, grading, weighing, packaging, and shipping. 2) The added value of post-harvest handling of hydroponic lettuce obtained was IDR 7,615.83,700 with a ratio of 42.31 percent.

Abstract

Kewirausahaan merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Keterampilan dan jiwa wirausaha menjadi komponen penting yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap individu terutama dalam menghadapi era globalisasi. Globalisasi membawa perubahan yang cepat dalam cara berbisnis, sehingga memerlukan adaptasi dan inovasi dari setiap individu, termasuk Ibu-Ibu PKK. Pelaksanaan Workshop Gelang Manik-Manik yang ditujukan untuk Ibu-Ibu PKK di Desa Kadirejo, Kecamatan Karanganom, Kabupaten Klaten. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan semangat berwirausaha dan mendorong pemberdayaan perempuan dengan memberikan mereka keterampilan. Melalui workshop ini, peserta dilatih untuk membuat gelang dari manik-manik dan tali giok, yang diharapkan mengembangkan keterampilan kewirausahaan dan menjadikan Ibu-Ibu PKK dapat menjadi lebih unggul dalam menciptakan produk yang memiliki nilai jual serta dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan ekonomi.

Abstract

Understanding science literacy is essential to facilitating effective learning and effectively addressing environmental concerns, as global warming is a complex subject. The purpose of this study is to map the science literacy profile of junior high school students in grade 7 regarding global warming content. Using multiple-choice exams and interviews, a descriptive quantitative method is employed to gather data on science context, science content, scientific competence, and science attitudes. 64 grade 7 students from SMP Negeri 1 Sambong in the Blora district participated in this study. According to the findings, 50% of students' science literacy in the area of global warming fell into the "very poor" category. The science literacy of the students attained an average score of 28% in the context aspect, 14% in the content aspect, 14% in the competency component, and 22% in the science attitude aspect. Based on the average score, it can be inferred that the science literacy skills of the pupils remain in the "very poor" category when considering all four components.  These results have implications for the necessity of creating a science curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking and application in relation to global warming in order to raise students' general science literacy levels.

Abstract

abstrak— Penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya kemampuan menulis teks argumentasi pada peserta didik kelas XI-4 SMA Negeri 6 Surabaya. Sebagian besar dari mereka belum mencapai kompetensi yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan tersebut melalui penerapan strategi RAFT (Role, Audience, Format, Topic) yang dipadukan dengan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL). Data yang dikumpulkan berasal dari hasil tes menulis teks argumentasi, dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 35 peserta didik, terdiri atas 13 laki-laki dan 22 perempuan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas yang berlangsung selama dua siklus. Pada pra-siklus, rata-rata nilai menulis teks argumentasi peserta didik hanya 68,23 dengan tingkat ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 11,43%. Setelah pelaksanaan siklus pertama, peningkatan nilai rata-rata menjadi 80,86 dengan ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 77,14%. Pada siklus kedua, nilai rata-rata meningkat lagi menjadi 86,43 dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 91,43%. Hasil dua siklus menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi RAFT yang dikombinasikan dengan PjBL efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks argumentasi peserta didik.Kata kunci— Peningkatan, Menulis, Teks Argumentasi, RAFT, PjBL   Abstract— This study is based on the low ability to write argumentative texts in students in grades XI-4 of SMA Negeri 6 Surabaya. Most of them have not reached the expected competencies. This research aims to improve these abilities through the application of RAFT (Role, Audience, Format, Topic) strategies combined with the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model. The data collected came from the results of the argumentative text writing test, with 35 research subjects, consisting of 13 males and 22 females. This research was conducted in the form of classroom action research that lasted for two cycles. In the pre-cycle, the average score of writing argumentative texts of students was only 68.23 with a classical completeness rate of 11.43%. After the implementation of the first cycle, the average score increased to 80.86 with classical completeness reaching 77.14%. In the second cycle, the average score increased again to 86.43 with a classical completion percentage of 91.43%. The results of the two cycles show that the application of the RAFT strategy combined with PjBL is effective in improving students' ability to write argumentative texts.Keywords—Improvement, Writing, Argumentative Text, RAFT, PjBL

Abstract

The communal system that lives in Indonesian society creates a view and culture that seems to oppose the presence of IPR because of its individuality. Enforcement of IPR protection in Indonesia is still a big homework for the Indonesian government in the midst of the communality of Indonesian society. On the other hand, the pressure of large countries has triggered the imposition of IPR regulations in Indonesia. As a result, Indonesia always holds the status of priority watch list. This paper discusses the philosophical basis for IPR protection in accordance with the character of Indonesian society. This paper will also examine how religion views the concept of IPR protection. So that IPR can be well received and grow properly in Indonesia. The writing uses normative research methods. Finally, it can be concluded that the MUI fatwa which prohibits and forbids the use of Intellectual Property Rights belonging to others without permission, is a strong foundation to sensitize Indonesian society as a religious society that is very obedient to its religious teachings to comply with the protection of Intellectual Property Rights.
