Abstract

STUDI RSE PADA ANISOTROPI INTERAKSI SPIN DALAM NH4CuCl3. Telah diamati sifat-sifat magnetik dari senyawa NH4CuCl3. NH4CuCl3 memiliki struktur kristal yang sama dengan KCuCl3 dan termasuk dalam model kristal monoklinik dengan space group P2I/c. Struktur utama dari kristal ini berupa rantai ganda yang memiliki susunan oktahedral CuCl6 pada bagian tepi sepanjang sumbu-a. Rantai ganda tersebut berada pada sudut dan pusat dari sel satuan dalam bidang bc dan dibatasi oleh ion-ion NH4+. Senyawa NH4CuCl3 memiliki tiga jenis interaksi antar tetangga terdekat J1, J2, dan J3. Sehingga pada temperatur ruang NH4CuCl3 dapat dimodelkan dalam sistem spin satu dimensi. Telah diukur pula harga Faktor Lande (g ) dalam senyawa rantai ganda NH4CuCl3. Nilai g telah diukur menggunakan spektrometer RSE pada temperatur ruang dengan pengaruh medan magnet hingga 1 T. Dalam pengukuran ini ditemukan indikasi fenomena anisotropi nilai g untuk pemutaran sumbu-a dan sumbu-b kristal. Secara teoritis anisotropi ini diprediksikan berasal dari interaksi pertukaran antisimetri pada model satu dimensi senyawa NH4CuCl3.

Abstract

Undoped ZnO and ZnO:Er  thin films were deposited on p-type Si substrates by ultrasonic spray pyrolisis (USP). Undoped and ZnO:Er thin films have been analyzed by using X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS). The results show that the XPS spectrum has two Er peak at ∼157 eV and ∼168 eV. The XPS Zn 2p spectrum of undoped ZnO and ZnO:Er thin films have binding energy for Zn 2p3/2 (~ 1021 eV) and Zn 2p1/2 (~1045eV) were found no shift in binding energy after the incorporation of Er. Meanwhile, after Er incorporates into ZnO, the O 1s spectrum is composed two peak of binding energy (BE) at ~530.5eV and the shoulder about 532.5 eV.Keywords: ZnO thin films, ZnO:Er, XPS, binding energy

Abstract

Physics demonstration learning has been carried out with the theme "Physics Experiments You Can Do at Home During the Covid-19 Pandemic". This activity was carried out by making a simple physics experiment video entitled The Chladni Plate Concept which was then broadcasted online via a zoom platform to students of SMA Negeri 40. The theme carried was in accordance with the learning curriculum for Senior High School (SMA) students. This activity was carried out as an effort to respond to the Covid- 19 pandemic situation which requires students to carry out learning activities at home online, so it is hoped that this activity can increase understanding and stimulate student enthusiasm during the Distance Learning (PJJ) period. As confirmation that the activity gained enthusiasm and was able to achieve these goals, a research instrument was made consisting of several parameters which the instrument was distributed to the teacher and all participants. 96% confirmed that the material presented was very useful during a pandemic. This indicates that the physics demonstration presented in the form of a video can be an alternative for students of SMA Negeri 40 Jakarta in learning physics, especially in discussing physics experiments regarding the Chladni Plate Concept. Abstrak Telah dilaksanakan pembelajaran peragaan fisika dengan tema “Eksperimen Fisika yang Bisa Dilakukan di Rumah Selama Pandemi Covid-19”. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan membuat video ekskperimen fisika sederhana berjudul Konsep Chladni Plate yang kemudian video tersebut ditayangkan secara daring melalui platform zoom kepada siswa/i SMA Negeri 40. Tema yang diusung sesuai dengan kurikulum pembelajaran untuk siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan sebagai upaya menyikapi situasi pandemi Covid-19 yang mengharuskan pelajar untuk melakukan kegiatan belajar di rumah secara daring, sehingga diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman serta merangsang semangat siswa/i selama masa Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ). Sebagai konfirmasi bahwa kegiatan mendapatkan antusiasme dan mampu mencapai tujuan tersebut, dibuatlah instrumen penelitian yang terdiri dari beberapa parameter dimana instrumen tersebut disebarkan kepada guru dan seluruh peserta. Terkonfirmasi sebanyak 96% menyatakan materi yang disampaikan sangat berguna di masa pandemi. Dengan ini mengindikasikan bahwa dengan peragaan fisika yang disajikan dalam bentuk video dapat menjadi alternatif bagi siswa/i SMA Negeri 40 Jakarta dalam belajar fisika khususnya dalam pembahasan eksperimen fisika mengenai Konsep Chladni Plate.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the transition from the PSBB period to the new normal era still had a significant impact in various sectors, mainly the education sector of teaching and learning activities. Online learning that is held provides a challenge to the creativity of teachers. For this reason, KKN's team of State University of Jakarta held an educational webinar with the theme 'Online Learning Trends in the New Normal Era' to enlighten teachers to be creative in improving teaching skills in order to establish students' character. From the feedback form given to the webinar participants, data processing and analysis have been carried out to elaborate the teacher's enthusiasm for teaching creativity to improve student character with educational webinars. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method by questionnaires as a data collection technique, including the theme, the agenda, the speakers presented, and the persistence in each session of the webinar. In general, the respondents gave positive responses indicating the level of satisfaction of the participants. In conclusion, the teacher agreed that creativity in learning was able to build the character of students. Abstrak Pada masa pandemi Covid-19, beralihnya masa PSBB menjadi era new normal masih memberikan dampak yang signifikan di berbagai sektor, terutama sektor pendidikan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar mengajar. Proses pembelajaran secara daring yang diselenggarakan memberikan tantangan terhadap kreativitas guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengaja. Oleh karena itu, Tim KKN Universitas Negeri Jakarta mengadakan seminar online dengan tema ‘Trend Pembelajaran Daring di Era New Normal’ untuk memberikan pencerahan bagaimana guru dapat berkreasi meningkatkan kemampuan mengajar agar karakter siswa dapat terbentuk. Melalui form feedback yang diberikan kepada para peserta Webinar, telah dilakukan pengolahan data dan analisis untuk mengelaborasi antusiasme guru pada kreativitas mengajar untuk meningkatkan karakter siswa melalui seminar online (webinar). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan deskriptif kuantitafif menggunakan kuesioner sebagai teknik pengumpulan data, meliputi tema webinar, susunan acara webinar, narasumber yang dihadirkan, dan keberlangsungan acara webinar di setiap sesinya. Secara keseluruhan, responden memberikan respon positif yang menandakan antusiasme peserta dalam hal ini guru setuju terhadap kreativitas dalam pembelajaran mampu membangun karakter siswa.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Telah dilakukan studi ekstraksi awal klorofil dari 3 jenis daun yaitu daun bayam (Amarantus), daun pepaya (Carica papaya), dan daun jarak (Ricinus communis). Ekstraksi dilakukan dengan teknik penghancuran menggunakan blender. Pelarut yang digunakan adalah isopropanol, asam asetat, dan DI water. Hasil penyaringan ekstrak daun diperoleh larutan sebayak 75 ml untuk setiap larutan ekstrak klorofil. Uji Ultrasonic Visible memberikan konfirmasi adanya penyerapan di rentang cahaya ultraviolet dan cahaya tampak. Sementara itu, serapan klorofil teramati di rentang cahaya tampak. Apabila dibandingkan serapan UV dan cahaya tampak, pada larutan ekstrak masih mengandung banyak gugus asam dibandingkan klorofil yang di ekstrak. Kata-kata kunci: daun bayam, daun pepaya, daun jarak, absorbansi, klorofil ABSTRACT We studied for chlorophyll extract from 3 leaf types that are spinach leaf (Amarantus), papaya leaf (Carica papaya), and castor leaf (Ricinus communis). The extraction is done by using a blender. The solvents used are isopropanol, acetic acid, and DI water. The result of leaf extract was obtained 75 ml solution for each solution of chlorophyll extract. The Visible Ultrasonic Test confirms absorption in the range of ultraviolet light and visible light. Meanwhile, chlorophyll uptake is observed in the visible light spectrum. When compared to UV absorption and visible light, in the extract solution still contains a lot of acid groups than the chlorophyll extracted. Abstract

Blacksmith is a people's business that has been going on for a long time in Indonesia. Based on the experience that has been obtained from time to time and hereditary, the blacksmith industry has been done by the community to meet the needs of agricultural and household utensils. However, observe to this people's business, now it decreases with various causal factors, such as the ease of imported goods on the market with lower prices. Many creative efforts need to be carried out so that these people's businesses remain and increasingly develop, among others by improving the quality of the process of a blacksmith so that their products are quite competitive. This article describes the results of the research in the laboratory regarding the physical processes of heating and quenching under blacksmith, which the results have been applied to community service activities at the Suger Kidul villages in Jember Regency. The study aimed to find the most appropriate procedure for steel tool manufacturing processes so that the blacksmith products have high quality as high hardness. The physical process for blacksmith process is heating and quenching. This study analyzes the proper heat (temperature), proper processing time, and proper media for heating and quenching to produce good harness quality of the product.

Abstract

Activated carbon is a porous solid containing 85-95% carbon, produced from carbonaceous materials by heating at high temperatures. Activated carbon has a very large surface area so it is suitable for applications requiring large contact areas such as in the adsorption field. Activated carbon can be made from fish bones because fish bones are removed as a waste containing carbon elements that can be used as raw material for making activated carbon. In the manufacture of activated carbon, not only raw materials that need to be considered, but also the process of activation. Activation of the charcoal can be carried out using CaCl2. For charcoal base material from fish bones containing lots of Ca and Mg elements, in addition to using the activator, also the activation process needs to be immersed in H2SO4. Characterization of activated carbons of synthesis include water content test, ash content test, and functional group analysis using FTIR spectroscopy. Based on the results FTIR shows specific peaks for as charcoal activated charcoal based on the literature. Based on the determination of the test water content and ash content obtained by activated charcoal from fish bones has a water content of 4,1% and ash content of 28,1%.

Abstract

Perhitungan efisiensi termal dari PLTGU Priok dengan pola operasi 2-2-1 telah dihitung menggunakan metode Newton-Raphson. Hasil simulasi tersebut telah dibandingkan dengan data experimen yang diolah secara konvensional. Hasil simulasi perhitungan Newton-Raphson menunjukkan nilai efisiensi optimum sebesar 42,644% untuk daya output sebesar 311,5 MW. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa simulasi perhitungan Newton-Raphson dan perhitungan data eksperimen memiliki selisih yang kecil, yakni sebesar 0,023%. Sedangkan pada uji efisiensi yang kedua efisiensi optimum 42,623% tercapai ketika daya output total sebesar 310,7 MW. Hasil simulasi perhitungan Newton Raphson menunjukkan nilai efisiensi optimum sebesar 42,644% untuk daya output sebesar 310,7 MW. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa simulasi perhitungan Newton-Raphson dan perhitungan data eksperimen memiliki selisih yang kecil, yakni sebesar 0,021%.Dua perhitungan tersebut menunjukkan  effisiensi relatif rendah, menunjukkan ada energi yang berubah menjadi energi lain. Diantaranya energi panas yang lepas ke udara. Energi ini bersama polutan lainnya yang mengandung COx akan ikut berperan meningkatkan gas rumah kaca, ikut menyumbang konten pemanasan udara. The thermal efficiency of PLTGU Priok with a 2-2-1 operations has been calculated using Newton-raphson method. The simulation results have been compared to experimental data which are processed conventionally. The simulation shows that for the power output of 311.5 MW, the value of optimum efficiency was 42,644%. There is slight difference between the two calculation methods, i.e. 0,023%. In the second experiment, the value of optimum efficiency is 42.623% for total power output of 310.7 MV. Newton-Raphson simulation shows that the value of optimum efficiency is 42,644% for the power output of 310,7 MW. The result of calculations, both using Newton-Raphson and conventional data processing have a slight difference, i.e  0,021%.The low efficiency showed by the two calculation methods indicates that there is energy transformation, for instance in heat energy relesing. This energy, along with other pollutants containing COx, has a role in increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and thus contributes to global warming.

Abstract

Has been done a coating process of the thin composite Ni-TiAlN to review the effect of variations concentration Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate (C12H25NaSO4) on the surface morphology of thin layer composite Ni-TiAlN. This coating process was using electrodeposition method with a current 0.45μA, voltage 45mV for 15 minutes. This composite was formed on a Tungsten Carbide substrate with solution composition of the electrolyte which consists of 2 gr/l AlN, 2 gr/l TiN, 0.49 Mol/l H3BO3, 0.17 M NiCl26H2O, 0.38 M NiSO46H2O and Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate (C12H25NaSO4). The variation concentration of Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate (C12H25NaSO4) that used are 0,2 g/l, 0.4 g/l and 0.6 g/l. This research uses characterization of Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) which showed that the bigger of concentration variation of Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate (C12H25NaSO4) make the surface morphology of thin layers composite Ni-TiAlN formed smoother than lower concentration, the smaller of aggregate and the crack are seen more clearly.

Abstract

Data logger is a system that can record and save the data continously. A data logger needs controlling system to operate it. One of controlling systems that can be used is Atmega 328 microcontroller (arduino uno). The aim of this research is to build a data logger system based arduino uno which be able reading pulse width data. The pulse width data is output data from RF pickoff sensor. The function of this sensor is to catch magnetic signal from flowmeter turbin. The data logger system is built by Python language to process data on Personal Computer (PC). On this data logger system, arduino will do serial communication using python. The result indicates the pulse width value is below 500 μs.
