Abstract

UMKM Rejeki Barokah which is engaged in the production of mackerel fish crackers with the brand "Tujuh Bintang," faces the constraint of limited production capacity due to the manual process that takes a long time. This study aims to design and implement a cracker printing machine to increase production efficiency without reducing product quality. The methods used include literature studies, direct observation, interviews, and collection of quantitative data from the production process and market needs. The design of the machine is based on worker anthropometric data, including hand reach length of 59 cm, knee height of 54 cm, and standing elbow height of 79 cm, to ensure ergonomics of use. The results of the study showed that the printing machine was able to speed up the dough printing process from 8 minutes per kilogram to 4.54 minutes per kilogram, increase production capacity to 1,890 kilograms per month, meet market demand, and increase the operational efficiency of UMKM. Production costs (HPP) were recorded at IDR 48,511 per kilogram, resulting in a profit of IDR 11,489 per kilogram. The implementation of this machine not only helps meet market needs but also strengthens the competitiveness of MSMEs through time efficiency, reduced labor costs, and increased productivity. With these results, the printing machine becomes a strategic solution to support the sustainability of Rejeki Barokah MSME businesses in an increasingly competitive market. INOVASI MESIN CETAK KERUPUK IKAN GUNA EFFISIENSI PROSES PRODUKSIUMKM Rejeki Barokah, yang bergerak dalam produksi kerupuk ikan tenggiri dengan merek "Tujuh Bintang," menghadapi kendala keterbatasan kapasitas produksi akibat proses manual yang memakan waktu lama. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan menerapkan mesin cetak kerupuk untuk meningkatkan efisiensi produksi tanpa mengurangi kualitas produk. Metode yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur, observasi langsung, wawancara, dan pengumpulan data kuantitatif dari proses produksi dan kebutuhan pasar. Perancangan mesin dilakukan berdasarkan data antropometri pekerja, meliputi panjang jangkauan tangan 59 cm, tinggi lutut 54 cm, dan tinggi siku berdiri 79 cm, untuk memastikan ergonomi penggunaan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mesin cetak mampu mempercepat proses pencetakan adonan dari 8 menit per kilogram menjadi 4,54 menit per kilogram, meningkatkan kapasitas produksi hingga 1.890 kilogram per bulan, memenuhi permintaan pasar, serta meningkatkan efisiensi operasional UMKM. Biaya produksi (HPP) tercatat sebesar Rp 48.511 per kilogram, menghasilkan keuntungan Rp 11.489 per kilogram. Implementasi mesin ini tidak hanya membantu memenuhi kebutuhan pasar tetapi juga memperkuat daya saing UMKM melalui efisiensi waktu, pengurangan biaya tenaga kerja, dan peningkatan produktivitas. Dengan hasil ini, mesin cetak menjadi solusi strategis untuk mendukung keberlanjutan usaha UMKM Rejeki Barokah di pasar yang semakin kompetitif.

Abstract

This research aims to develop innovative briquette products using coffee grounds waste and coconut shells as the main raw materials. This waste has great potential to be used as an environmentally friendly alternative fuel, reduce organic waste, and provide added value economically. This research was conducted at Jokopi Indonesia and Ridho Abadi MSMEs, coffee grounds waste, which is produced from the espresso making process at Jokopi Indonesia, reaches an average of 330 kg per month, while coconut shell waste from Ridho Abadi MSMEs reaches 240 kg per month. Aiming to design an efficient briquette printing tool while calculating production costs and payback periods. By utilizing generally wasted waste, such as coffee grounds and coconut husks, the most optimal formulation is found at a ratio of 75% charcoal flour to 25% adhesive flour, resulting in briquettes with good burning quality and a long duration. The production capacity obtained reached 22.5 kg per day, with a yield of 2,813 briquettes, and the cost of production (HPP) of Rp8,762 per kg, providing a profit of Rp6,238 per kg. With a payback period of only 2 months, the investment in this briquette printing machine is considered feasible and has the potential to be further developed. Abstract

Facility layout is an important thing that must be managed effectively and efficiently in order to produce optimal material handling costs. UD Karya Abadi is a manufacturing industry engaged in the manufacture of pans. The long-distance of materials movement is an obstacle during the production process. The distance of the material in carrying out the transfer will affect the total costs required in the production process. Facility layout design is carried out by paying attention to material handling distances and relationships between departments. The from to chart method is used to determine the smallest number of product moments that can be designed in an industrial layout. This research resulted in a decrease in product moment of 2840.181 from 4769.059 to 1928.878. The decrease in the product moment means that the material movement becomes smaller, so it can increase production capacity due to the smaller operator movements. This research resulted in a proposed layout for a new production facility and lowered material handling costs.Keywords: From to Chart, Layout, UD Karya Abadi

Abstract

UD Gajah Delta is a familly business managed by a husband and wife in the city of Sidoarjo, East Java. This trading business was started in the 2000s and still survives today. One of UD Gajah Delta's strategies to survive today is to maintain quality and pay attention to every detail of the voice of the customer. In fulfilling the demand for pans, meatball boilers, rice boilers, and soup bowls, UD has 3 factories and dozens of employees who help with the production process. Besides that, to help the success of the production process, there are various types of machines such as cutting machines, press machines, press roll machines, and punch machines. In order to maximize the production process at UD Gajah Delta, it is necessary to calculate the need for raw materials and the number of machines used to assist the production process. Calculating the need for raw materials and machines used can use the method of operation process chart (OPC) and multi product process chart (MPPC). Abstract

UD Doa Emak merupakan Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) yang memproduksi mesin pemarut kelapa, mesin pemotong singkong, mesin giling daging, dan mesin pencabut bulu ayam. UKM ini memproduksi rata-rata 280 buah engsel besar dan kecil dan 230 buah penutup kepala dengan menggunakan alat manual dan sederhana yang dioperasikan dengan posisi menjongkok. Alat ini sering mengakibatkan kecacatan pada hasil produksinya dan menimbulkan kelelahan pada pekerja. Perancangan alat baru yang lebih ergonomis dilakukan untuk mengurangi tingkat kecacatan dan kelelahan pekerja. Alat yang dirancang ini mempertimbangkan antropometri dari pekerja dan dioerasikan dalam posisi duduk. Beberapa ukuran yang dipergunakan yaitu Tinggi Siku Posisi Duduk (TSPD), Panjang Jangkauan Tangan (PJT), Lebar Telapak Tangan (LTT), Panjang Polipteal (PP), Tinggi Polipteal (TP), dan Lebar Pantat (LP). Selain mempertimbangkan data antropometri pekerja, alat ini juga memperhitungkan persentil yang digunakan agar keseluruhan pekerja dapat mengoperasikan alat tersebut. Alat yang dirancang dapat menurunkan kecacatan hingga 83 % sehingga terjadi peningkatkan kapasitas produksi sebanyak 25-30 unit/hari.

Abstract

Simulasi analisis metode antrean makanan Online  menggunakan model  sistem antrian M/M/1 dan M/M/S, Pada Rumah makan  Soto Madura Tapak Siring, pada dasarnya M/M/1 merupakan sebuah sistem antrian yang sangat sederhana dimana label pertama dinyatakan sebagai pola kedatangan, dan label kedua dinyatakan sebagai tingkat pelayanan dan angka 1 diartikan sebagai jumlah Server yang ada di dalam sebuah sistem antrian. M/M/S merupakan dua atau lebih jalur stasiun pelayanan yang tersedia untuk melayani customer yang datang, hal ini dapat diasumsikan yaitu pelanggan atau customer yang menunggu untuk dilayani akan membentuk suatu jalur pada stasiun pelayanan yang tersedia. Hasil perhitungan dan pengelolaan data dengan tujuan perbandingan data keefisiensian dengan menggunakan metode M/M/1 dan M/M/S untuk memprediksi metode mana yang sangat efisien dan sesuai digunakan untuk sistem antrian di Rumah Makan Soto Madura Tapak Siring.

Abstract

UD Karya Abadi merupakan salah satu usaha di bidang manufaktur yang menghasilkan produk berupa loyang kue. Loyang kue yang diproduksi oleh perusahaan tersebut, memiliki beragam variasi diantaranya adalah loyang chiffon cake, loyang lidah kucing dan loyang ukuran 16. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada UD Karya Abadi yakni terkait dengan penentuan harga jual. Harga jual yang ditetapkan kurang memperhatikan Harga Pokok Produksi (HPP) dari output yang dihasilkan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan Harga Pokok Produksi (HPP) dari ketiga variasi loyang guna penentuan harga jual yang tepat. Pengklasifikasian biaya yang terapkan oleh UD Karya Abadi dalam perhitungan HPP menjadi input dalam melakukan penyusunan penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode full costing dalam penentuan HPP loyang. Metode full costing merupakan teknik penentuan harga pokok produksi dengan membebankan seluruh biaya produksi meliputi biaya bahan baku, biaya tenaga kerja langsung, biaya overhead baik berperilaku tetap maupun variabel terhadap produk (Mulyadi, 2005:17). Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pengolahan data pada UD Karya Abadi didapatkan besar biaya material dari loyang chiffon cake memberikan presentase terhadap HPP sebesar 97.40%, biaya tenaga kerja 2.30%, biaya permesinan sebesar 0.29% dan biaya overhead sebesar 0%. Besar biaya material dari loyang lidah kucing memberikan presentase terhadap HPP sebesar 86,26%, biaya tenaga kerja 9,33%, biaya permesinan sebesar 0,38% , biaya overhead sebesar 4,03%  dan besar biaya material dari loyang ukuran 16 memberikan presentase terhadap HPP sebesar 86,65%, biaya tenaga kerja 7,73%, biaya permesinan sebesar 0,95% dan biaya overhead sebesar 4,67%.Kata kunci: UD Karya Abadi, Loyang Kue, HPP, Metode Full costing, Harga Jual

Abstract

This study aims to develop an innovative catfish sorting tool to minimize the sorting process time at Pak Arifin's farm. The current sorting process takes up to 4 hours per session, potentially causing stress to the fish and physical fatigue to workers. This innovation includes an ergonomic tool design to reduce the risk of injury from improper working postures and adjustable sorting blades controlled by a lever. The tool is constructed using stainless steel for parts in direct contact with the fish to ensure hygiene and durability, while the frame is made of hollow iron to support structural strength. The implementation of this tool is expected to reduce sorting time by up to 50%, increase sorting capacity, and maintain the quality of sorted fish. Additionally, this tool significantly enhances worker productivity and comfort while meeting market demands for specific catfish sizes, ranging from 8 to 12 fish per kilogram. Abstract

Taro Chips MSMEs Mr. Ferdianto in Kesimantengah Village, Mojokerto, produces taro chips with a daily capacity of 60 kg. The process of stripping taro was previously carried out manually, taking up to 30 minutes for 3 kg of raw materials, thus limiting production capacity. This research aims to design a taro peeling machine that is able to process 5 kg in just 5 minutes. The test results show a significant increase in efficiency and productivity. With its ergonomic design and larger capacity, it is able to meet the increasing market demand and support sustainable business growth. Abstract

Catfish farming (Clarias sp.) is a potential aquaculture sector in Indonesia with high economic value and increasing market demand. However, the farming process faces challenges, such as fish mortality often caused by unequal fish sizes due to uneven feed distribution. This issue is also experienced by UD. Kurnia Tani, a small-medium enterprise in Magetan, which still employs a manual feeding system. This system triggers competition among fish, leading to economic losses and reduced survival rates. This study aims to design an automatic feeding device to improve feeding efficiency and productivity in catfish farming. The design results indicate that the device reduces the required workforce from two to one person and shortens feeding time from eight minutes to four minutes per pond. Additionally, the device increases work productivity by 50% and lowers the cost of production from IDR 17,760 to IDR 11,760. With an investment cost of IDR 2,640,000, the device has a payback period of two months. The automatic feeding device is expected to be an innovative solution to support more efficient and sustainable catfish farming.
