Abstract

Abstract: Open University in Indonesia as the higher education institution is using DE modes. All course content are delivered through printed learning modules, and 25 percent of course materials are multimedia packages. Learning support is provided via face-to-face, online, and broadcast modes. Radio tutorials are broadcast by the government-owned National Radio Station Network. Online courses use a learning management system. All online support services can be accessed by students through the UT-Online portal, which contains online tutorials and exercises, Web-based learning materials, streamed TV programs, a digital library with journals and transcripts, academic counseling, and ther online education facilities. This study aimed to analyze the need of the development model of blended learning for action research course which increasing the competence of primary school teacher students. The research was conducted in UPPJJ UT Bandung, one of UT’s regional office in west java. Research subject was students, tutors and administrator classroom. By the study, specific goals can be outlined as follows: (i) to study the existing condition of the learning process that occurs at present in S1 PGSD UPBJJ UT Bandung; (ii) to develop form of a blended learning model can improve the competency of graduates; (iii) to study the perceptions of students and faculty on the application of blended learning model on distance learning System; (iv) to study the effectiveness of blended learning model on distance learning systems at UPBJJ S1 PGSD Bandung Indonesia.Keyword: Long Distance Education, blended learning; teacher educationAbstrak: Universitas Terbuka di Indonesia adalah lembaga pendidikan tinggi yang menggunakan DE mode. Seluruh perkuliahan disampaikan melalui modul pembelajaran cetak, dan 25 persen dari materi perkuliahan adalah paket multimedia. Dukungan belajar disediakan melalui tatap muka, online, dan mode broadcast. tutorial radio yang disiarkan oleh Jaringan Stasiun Radio Nasional milik pemerintah. Perkuliahan online menggunakan sistem manajemen pembelajaran. Semua layanan dukungan online dapat diakses oleh siswa melalui portal UT-Online, yang berisi tutorial online dan latihan, bahan belajar berbasis web, streaming program TV, perpustakaan digital dengan jurnal dan transkrip, konseling akademik, dan fasilitas pendidikan online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan model pengembangan blended learning untuk perkuliahan penelitian tindakan yang meningkatkan kompetensi siswa guru sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan di UPPJJ UT Bandung, salah satu kantor regional UT di Jawa Barat. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa, tutor dan administrator kelas. Pemelitian ini memiliki tujuan spesifik yang dapat diuraikan sebagai berikut: (i) untuk mempelajari kondisi yang ada dari proses pembelajaran yang terjadi saat ini di S1 PGSD UPBJJ UT Bandung; (ii) mengembangkan bentuk model blended learning dapat meningkatkan kompetensi lulusan; (iii) untuk mempelajari persepsi mahasiswa dan fakultas pada penerapan model pembelajaran blended tentang Sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh; (iv) untuk mempelajari efektivitas model pembelajaran blended pada sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh di UPBJJ S1 PGSD Bandung Indonesia..Kata Kunci: pendidikan jarak jauh, blended learnng, pendidikan guru

Abstract

ABSTRAKSI: Tak semua lulusan SMA (Sekolah Menengah Atas) bisa meneruskan pendidikannya ke jenjang PT (Perguruan Tinggi). Oleh sebab itu, lulusan SMA perlu dibekali kemampuan dan keterampilan untuk bisa bertahan dalam menempuh kehidupan usai lulus SMA. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada penguatan pengalaman belajar bercirikan kecakapan hidup dalam implementasi Kurikulum 2013 pada SMA di Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pemahaman kepala sekolah dan guru SMA dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan Kurikulum 2013 dan menjamin lulusannya memiliki keterampilan belajar, keterampilan menggunakan teknologi dan media informasi, serta dapat bekerja dan bertahan dengan menggunakan keterampilan untuk hidup. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan sampel para kepala sekolah dan guru SMA. Hasil penelitian menunjukan masih variatifnya derajat pemahaman kecakapan hidup para guru dan kepala sekolah dalam implementasi Kurikulum 2013. Ada juga sejumlah kendala yang dialami guru dan kepala sekolah dalam implementasi pembelajaran kecakapan hidup. Kendala tersebut bersifat konseptual dan teknis implementatif di sekolah. KATA KUNCI: Manajemen Kurikulum; Kurikulum 2013; Kecakapan Hidup; Pembelajaran Aktif; Kendala Konseptual dan Teknis.  ABSTRACT: “Strengthening the Life Skills in the Implementation of Curriculum 2013 in Senior High Schools in West Java”. Not all Senior High School graduates can continue their education to the College level. Therefore, they need to be provided with the ability and skills to survive in their life after graduation. This study is focused on strengthening the learning experience characterized by life skills in the implementation of Curriculum 2013 in Senior High Schools in West Java, Indonesia. The purpose of the study is to determine the understanding of Senior High Schools’ principals and teachers in designing and implementing Curriculum 2013 and ensuring their graduates to have the skills to learn, to use information technology and media, and to be able to work and survive by using life skills. This research used a descriptive method, with a sample of Senior High Schools’ principals and teachers. The results show that there is still a variation of the teachers and principals’ degrees of understanding of life skills in the implementation of Curriculum 2013. Abstract

This study aims to: formulate operational concepts to measure the level of household food endurance, to analyze indicators of household food endurance in terms of aspects of education, economics, and food consumption, identify the characteristics of households that experienced food unendurance. Household sample was pre-prosperous, prosperous I, prosperity II, prosperous III, and prosperous III +. Selection random sample coated with proportional allocation. Types of data collected include demographic characteristics of household, ownership of land, the economic characteristics of households, household social characteristics. Based on discriminant analysis, it found five variables that can be indicators of household food enduracnce is the wife of education backgaround, ownership of chickens, the frequency of eating rice consumption , cassava consumption frequency and the frequency of consumption of salted fish. The higher the wife's education, the more resistant the household food. While ownership of the chicken and salted fish consumption is indicated that is the opposite of more domesticated chickens and the higher the frequency of consumption of salted fish is the household food unendurance. Striking characteristic is the average frequency of consumption of salted fish, the frequency of household consumption of food endurance just 0.7 times per week, while the household does not endurance as much food frequency 3.9 times per week.

Abstract

Tidur merupakan kebutuhan dasar yang penting bagi setiap individu selain itu tidur merupakan sebagai kebutuhan fisiologis yang terjadi karena perubahan stuktur kesadaran yang ditandai tingkat kesadaran dan respon terhadap stimuli.Tidur siang menjadi suatu hal yang penting karena tidur sangat bermanfaat, terutama untuk anak, dimana mereka tengah berada dalam masa pertumbuhan yang pesat. Tidur siang bagi anak tidak hanya bermanfaat untuk mengistirahatkan tubuh dan pikiran, tetapi lebih dari itu. Beberapa manfaat tidur siang bagi anak, diantaranya: membantu proses metabolisme, menjaga kesehatan dan daya tahan tubuhnya, mencerdaskan otak, membantu tumbuh kembang anak menjadi lebih optimal, meningkatkan konsentrasi anak, dan lain-lain. Meskipun manfaat tidur siang bagi anak sangatlah besar, namun bukan berarti orang tua harus memaksa anaknya tidur siang hingga berjam-jam lamanya. Tetap membiarkan anak beraktifitas seperti biasa, dan yang terpenting kebutuhan tidur anak bisa tercukupi dengan baik Mengetahuipengaruh tidur siang terhadap tingkat kecerdasan logika anak usia 3-5 tahun di TK Zainul Hasan Genggong Probolinggo Desaian penelitian yang akan digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Cross Sectional.Pupolasi penelitian ini Adalah semua ibu yang memiliki anak usia 3 ? 5 tahun di TK Zainul Hasan Genggong, dengan menggunakan teknik sampling purposive sampling, dengan jumlah populasi 60 siswa/siswi, dengan jumlah sampel 45 siswa/siswi. Pengambilan data dengan menggunakan kuisioner dan dianalisis dengan uji statistik Wilcoxon. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara pengaruh tidur siang dengan tingkat kecerdasan logika anak usia 3-5 tahun dengan Corelasi Asymp.Sig.(2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.005. Terdapat pengaruh tidur siang terhadap tingkat kecerdasan logika anak usia 3-5 tahun di TK Zainul Hasan Genggong Probolinggo

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas buku panduan guru penilaian kinerja siswa menggambar bentuk yang valid, reliabel, dan praktis. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data kualitatif dengan metode wawancara, dokumentasi, observasi, dan angket. Pengecekan keabsahan data kualitatif dengan triangulasi data. Pengumpulan data kuantitatif diperoleh dengan menguji validitas dan reliabilitas. Validasi isi dengan metode expert judgement, pengujian reliabilitas menggunakan interrater reliability berbantuan program Genova. Model pengembangan mengacu pada model Borg and Gall, yang dibatasi sampai langkah ke-9. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling. Buku panduan guru valid secara isi dengan persentase 80,73% dan reliabel dengan nilai koefisien reliabilitas (r) 0,82 untuk aspek psikomotorik serta 0,72 untuk aspek afektif siswa. Hasil belajar psikomotorik siswa mencapai ketuntasan belajar, kelas VII B terdapat 30 siswa dari 34 siswa memperoleh nilai ≥75, kelas VII E terdapat 31 siswa dari 34 siswa memperoleh nilai ≥75, dan kelas VII F terdapat 32 siswa dari 34 siswa memperoleh nilai ≥75. Hasil angket respon siswa dan guru menunjukkan buku panduan guru dalam kategori praktis. The research aims to generate guidebooks performance assessment materials for teachers to draw shapes art class VII are valid, reliable, and practical. The research method using the Research and Development with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Qualitative data collection by interview, documentation, observation, and questionnaires. Checking the validity of qualitative data by triangulation data. Quantitative data obtained by testing the validity and reliability. Validation of the content by the method of expert judgment, reliability testing interrater reliability using the program assisted Genova. Model development refers to the model Borg and Gall, bounded up the steps to the 9th. Sampling with purposive sampling technique. Contents valid instrument with percentage 80,73% and reliable with coefficient of reliability (r) of aspects of the psychomotor 0,82 and 0,72 for the affective aspects of students. Psychomotor learning outcomes of students achieve mastery learning, class VII B, there are 30 students from 34 students received grades ≥75, a class VII E there are 31 students from 34 students received grades ≥75 and VII F class there are 32 students from 34 students received grades ≥75, The results of the questionnaire responses of students and teachers to assess the performance assessment instruments in the practical category.

Abstract

The challenges with vocational education are that graduates are not prepared to work because they do not have the competencies required by the business industry. The graduates from vocational high school have a high unemployment rate because the curriculum is not in line with the needs of the business industry and also graduates standards are quite low. The research aimed to find a solution to these problems. One of the solutions that could be explored was by implementing an integrated learning curriculum model in vocational education. Adaptive curriculum policy is a curriculum that is modified and adapted when necessary, and each educational unit is allowed to innovate. The research method used was a systematic literature review on journals from the last ten years relating to adaptive curriculum and vocational education. The result showed that learning with an integrated curriculum model explored the greatest potential of teachers and students to innovate and improve the quality of learning independently. This promotes the development of working opportunities in the business and industrial sectors, creating high-quality of vocational school graduates with a high degree of skills and characters to become professional workers that are ready to compete in the global era and also creating confident graduates who have the entrepreneurial capacity.

Abstract

Vocational practical learning activities are an important part, however, they do not link the practice learning activities conducted in schools with field work in the industry, yet. The implementation of the vocational students' field industrial practice (prakerin) still cause some problems and complaints from industry. Research results show that the pace of learners' work is slow, work accident's is still high, lack ofresponsibility sense, less able to maintain hygiene in food handling, as well as less neat of personal appearance. The purpose of this study attempts to develop WPL model to improve the student's catering competency skill of Tourism Culinary Vocational School. This research was done by conducting Research and Development (R D) towards the Catering Tourism Culinary Vocational School students. The process started from preliminary studies, model development and validation done by the experts. The results shows that: (1) preliminary (a) there is variation in the planning, implementation, evaluation activities in vocational industrial working practices studied, (b) The condition of infrastructure in vocational is relatively adequate, (c) the timing of the practice in the industry starts from 3-6 months. (2) WPL Model covers the planning, implementation, and evaluation. After the draft of WPL models developed and (3) the results of the validation test shows WPL that WPL model is effective for improving the students' competence of vocational catering skills. The author proposes some recommendations, namely: The Monitoring and evaluation done by knowledge ability, work attitude (employability skill), and the process of interaction in the workplace using complete learning device. This study is limited to WPL Model of Students' Catering Competency Skill of Tourism Culinary Vocational School. Other researchers who are interested in the model are recommended to develop the WPL model of vocational school cooperate with the relevan industry.

Abstract

Kebutuhan pangan akan terus meningkat seiring dengan laju pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk yang terus naik, sehingga perlu dikembangkan bahan pangan alternatif, salah satunya hanjeli. Sebelum diolah hanjeli mengalami beberapa proses, yaitu pengeringan, pemecahan kulit luar, penyosohan lapisan aleuron, pemisahan beras hanjeli dari dedak, dan penepungan. Hanjeli merupakan bahan pangan yang memiliki gizi tinggi, namun pemanfaatannya masih terbatas. Permasalahan yang terjadi di Desa Waluran Mandiri Kecamatan Waluran Kabupaten Sukabumi adalah pengolahan hanjeli menjadi produk turunan yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi. Tepung hanjeli dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pengganti tepung terigu dalam pembuatan cookies. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan. Produk yang dihasilkan dari pelatihan ini adalah chocochips cookies hanjeli, pizza cookies hanjeli, nastar hanjeli, dan peanut cookies hanjeli. Masyarakat sangat antusias mengikuti pelatihan. Simpulannya tepung hanjeli dapat menggantikan seratus peresen tepung terigu di dalam pembuatan aneka cookies.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems of food technology that has been growing rapidly at today, including the use of ingredients, which is the vital thing to be considered in its preparation. For Muslim community, the problem that arises is the number of food ingredients, both the main raw material and the additive material, which are difficult to trace their origin, whether they are from halal sources or not.  There is also a public perception concerning the clarity or label of halal food products purchased. It would impact the decision purchase of food product. This study used a case method using questionnaire for Moslem students in UPI Department of Culinary Study Program. Correlational analysis was done to find the correlation of conception on label food with purchase decision making. The result shows that there is  a sifnificant correlation between both respondents or consumers’ conception on label information of food ingredients and their purchase decision making. This is evident in the correlation which indicates the presence of a significant relation (r=0,546). It could be recomended that in any attempt to produce food, especially in Indonesia, food ingredients in terms of being halal and hygienic should be highly considered; therefore the producers should have a halal certificate of the authorities, which in this case Board of Indonesian Muslim Scholars (MUI).

Abstract

This study is motivated by the lack of use of technology-based media in elementary schools. With the aim of knowing student learning outcomes after using the flipbook the characteristics of living things and user responses. The research was conducted to describe flipbook analysis, design, development, implementation, user response, student learning outcomes and evaluation of flipbook characteristics of living things. Flipbook is a form of presentation of book learning media in virtual form. The method used in this research is D&D (design and development) and used the ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation)). The findings when research students have never learned to use design technology are made in Canva for development into an android application, tested for feasibility by media, language, material, learning experts with very decent category results with an average score of 82.6%. The implementation was carried out achieved a very good response from users with an average of 88.9% and the average student learning outcomes increased as seen from an average of 32.6 to 73.8. After the flipbook was tested, many evaluations had to be done, such as suggestions from students, namely the volume of the audio sound was still small and relatively inaudible when used if there were other students speaking so that their voices clashed.
