This article is a study of relevant learning methods for early childhood, especially those that have been applied to early childhood education units (PAUD) which name is Kelompok Belajar, Beriman dan Bermain dan Taman Kanak-Kanak (KBTRI dan TK) Ceria Terpadu Wamena, Papua in 2016. This study was preceded by a theoretical reference on the multifaceted learning methods of early childhood education. Then followed by the results of empirical research. Theoretical references are built through literature studies, while empirical research uses qualitative methods with descriptive types built with participant field observations and unstructured interviews. The results of the study show that various PAUD learning methods have been applied by teachers KBTRI dan TK Ceria Terpadu Wamena to the students they have mentored. Various learning methods are used by teachers in conveying messages or learning materials, both theory and practice to the students they mentor. Thus the use of learning methods in order to help students to receive all the information or messages conveyed by the teachers according to the learning materials they have prepared well.

This article is a systematic-doctrinal study of Biblical and holistic Mission and Mission Theology. This includes a study of the doctrines of the complete nature of God, the whole creation, the whole human being, the complete salvation and the whole ministry as well as the biblical doctrine of the Kingdom of God and its comprehensive scope. The results of this study confirm that there is no substantial separation between the sacred or sacred with the secular or profane, even between personal and social elements. In the Bible, mission includes both spiritual and material elements, and is manifested in the totality of harmony between God, humans and all creation in a holistic manner. Mission consists of ministries of evangelism and humanization, internal conversion and restoration of social situations and conditions, vertical faith and horizontal love. The Bible teaches that the problem of sin is not only the problem of the individual human being that has been corrupted but also the problem of the system or structure that has been corrupted. In the end, it will be recommended a doctrine of a holistic ministry for church that touches all elements of humanity, spiritual, physical, emotional, mental, and social and restores all creation, namely the earth which belongs to God in the Lord Jesus Christ, the redeemer and the great restorer. This study describes the essence and existence of the Bible according to a review of Biblical literature as a result of research by several theologians. The biblical literature and theological perspectives reviewed are from conservative and contemporary circles who were randomly selected by the researchers in this article. This study uses a qualitative method built by the study of literature that is relevant to the research problem. The final result of this study shows that theologians have different perceptions about the essence and existence of the Bible, but in general they have the same thing that the Bible does not just exist but God's intervention to the writers in the context of history, struggles and struggles of their lives and their communities. For this reason, with varying perceptions, all theologians acknowledge the authority of the Bible in their written Biblical literature. The researchers also point out that there are various strengths and weaknesses in the theologians' perceptions of the problem in question. Thus, it will open the possibility for further research in this field, both scientifically and practically.

Abstract:This study examines the reality of poverty in certain communities in the third world on the one hand and economic abundance in capitalist societies, especially in the Western world, including Western Europe and the United States. It is well known that socio-historically, the Western world is widely known as the place where Christianity took root and grew there according to Ronald James Sider in his book “Rich Christians in an Age of Hunger: Moving from Affluence to Generosity”. This research is a qualitative research by describing the substance of the book's description which emphasizes the complete Christian concern for every human being and society as taught by the Bible and becomes the principle and practice of the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ who is the incarnation of God and carries out the work of salvation. Thus, today's Christianity is called to serve marginalized communities as a whole as a form of love and obedience to God in the Lord Jesus Christ. Abstrak:Kajian ini mengulas mengenai kenyataan kemiskinan masyarakat tertentu di belahan dunia ketiga pada satu sisi dan kelimpahan ekonomi pada masyarakat kapitalis, terutama di dunia Barat, diantaranya Eropa Barat dan Amerika Serikat. Telah banyak diketahui bahwa secara sosio historis, dunia Barat dikenal secara luas sebagai tempat kekristenan berakar dan bertumbuh di sana menurut Ronald James Sider dalam bukunya “Rich Christians in an Age of Hunger: Moving from Affluence to Generosity”. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan mendeskripsikan substansi dari uraian buku tersebut yang menekankan kepada keprihatinan Kristen yang utuh kepada setiap manusia dan masyarakat seperti yang diajarkan oleh Alkitab dan menjadi prinsip dan praksis pelayanan dari Tuhan Yesus Kristus yang adalah inkarnasi Allah dan melaksanakan karya keselamatan. Dengan demikian kekristenan masa kini, dipanggil untuk melayani masyarakat marginal dengan utuh sebagai wujud kasih dan ketaatan kepada Allah di dalam Tuhan Yesus Kristus.

This article is an ethnotheological study of the substance of Folk Religion as Local Theology of the Tugutil Ethnic in Halmahera Island, North Maluku Province, Indonesia. This study examines and describes the elements of folk religion, namely beliefs about God, humans, sin and salvation as the fundamental beliefs of traditional societies with animism-dynamism patterns. The research was carried out using a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. The results of this study show that the local theology of the Tugutil ethnicity regarding Jou Ma Dutu as God. He was the creator and owner of the universe; trichotomous human nature o roehe-o gikiri-o gurumini; the human reality that is o baradoha ma nyawa which only causes the instability of the universe and disturbances to the ancestral spirits. Likewise, the concept of salvation they believe in is present and pragmatic, which does not give place to futuristic eternal life. The final result of this study shows that by examining deeply folk religion, the local theology was adopted by the Tugutil ethnic group. It becomes a consideration for implementing sociocultural approaches and contextual ministry, both spiritual and social ministry, for the Tugutil ethnic group as one of the isolated community groups in Indonesia.

This article describes narrative criticism as a Scripture hermeneutical method according to a literature review as a result of research by several Biblical theologians. As for the substance of the biblical literature and the theologians' perceptions reviewed, the researchers selected randomly. This study uses a qualitative method built by a literature study that is in sync with the research problem. The final result of this study shows how theologians express their perception of narrative criticism as a method of biblical interpretation that emphasizes the historical story of God's salvation. The final results also show that with various perceptions, all theologians recognize the benefits of narrative interpretation of the Bible as an important part of explaining God's initiative in revealing Himself and communicating with humans. Researchers also point to a variety of strengths and weaknesses in the theologians' perceptions of the research problem. This will provide opportunities and possibilities for further research in this field, both scientifically and practically.

AbstractThis research is a conceptual study of the discourse on cultural characteristics for the contextualization of the evangelism and the multifaceted model of contextual theology. The research was carried out with a qualitative approach that was built through a literature review that was relevant to the matters being discussed. This study describes a discussion that will enrich the evangelist to identify and analyze the characteristics or traits of human culture as well as to consider the various models or styles/forms of contextual theology that are relevant in preaching the Gospel to humans and the multi-context society. In the end, the results of the study indicate that the contextualization process needs to pay attention to efforts to identify, analyze and empower culture and its characteristics as a potential for an evangelist to preach the gospel and renew society with gospel values where the gospel is an incomparable culture. Likewise, the contextualization process will be effective if the evangelist considers various models of contextual theology that are relevant in preaching the gospel, and can even be developed for a holistic ministry that touches humans and society from a spiritual, economic, political and social perspective.AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan studi konseptual mengenai diskursus karakteristik budaya bagi Kontekstualisasi Injil dan multi wajah model teologi kontekstual. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan model kualitatif yang dibangun berdasarkan telaah literatur yang relevan dengan hal-hal yang menjadi pembahasan. Penelitian ini menguraikan pembahasan yang akan memperkaya pemberita Injil untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis karakteristik atau sifat-sifat budaya manusia maupun mempertimbangkan ragam model atau corak/bentuk teologi kontekstual yang relevan dalam pemberitaan Injil kepada manusia dan masyarakat multi-konteks tersebut. Pada akhirnya, hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa proses kontekstualisasi perlu member perhatian bagi upaya mengidentifikasi, menganalisis dan memberdayakan budaya dan karakteristiknya sebagai potensi bagi seorang penginjil untuk memberitakan Injil serta membaharui masyarakat dengan nilai-nilai Injil yang mana Injil adalah budaya yang tak tertandingi. Demikian pula proses kontekstualisasi akan efektif pula jikalau pemberita Injil mempertimbangkan ragam model teologi kontekstual yang relevan dalam pemberitaan Injil, bahkan dapat dikembangkan kepada pelayanan holistik yang menyentuh manusia dan masyarakat dari sisi spiritual, ekonomi, politik dan sosial.Â

This article describes John Calvin, the second generation of reformers in church history or Christian history who systematized reform theology through his theological movements and thoughts. This description is based on randomly selected literature reviews that study the life of John Calvin and his theological thoughts that focus on the sovereignty of the Triune God over all His creation. The specialty of Calvin's thought also lies in the integrity and integration between abstract theology and holistic spirituality. Therein lies the strength of the church which must continue to be reformed, namely the supremacy of God's sovereignty and integrative theology-spirituality which is the legacy of John Calvin which should be actualized and continuous in the procession of the church in its historical course.
