Abstract

This study aimed: (a) to determine the general water balance at the Upstream and Midstream of Bengawan Solo Watershed by using Thornthwaite-Mather model, and (b) to determine the fulfillment of domestic water demand in the Upstream and Midstream of Bengawan Solo Watershed. Prevailing climate change has affected the condition of water source in Upstream and Midstream of Bengawan Solo Watershed. One of the impacts was extreme fluctuation of meteorological water availability that might cause flood and drought. Survey was selected as the research method while descriptive quantitative method was used for data analysis. The findings indicated the difference between precipitation and corrected evapotranspiration (P-EP) at the Upstream and Midstream of Bengawan Solo Watershed was between (-11.19 mm) to (78.56 mm). The highest value was obtained by Bambang Sub-watershed and the lowest was Wiroko Temon Sub-watershed. Positive value indicated the water surplus while negative value indicated water deficit. Domestic water demand for local communities was in the range of 50,782,500 liters to 131,690,700 liters, and the level of water availability varied, namely fulfilled and unfulfilled.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Tingkat kesiapsiagaan guruterhadap bencana gempabumi berdasarkan tingkat pengetahuan dantingkat kesiapsiagaan guru terhadap bencana gempabumi. Variabelyang digunakan adalah pengetahuan dan kesiapsiagaan guru terhadapbencana gempabumi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua guruyang mengajar di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Prambanan yang berjumlah24 responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian iniadalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif.Berdasarkan hasil analisis danpembahasan penelitian tingkat pengetahuan guru SMK Muhammadiyah1 Prambanan terhadap bencana gempabumi masuk ke dalam kategori“Tinggi” dengan berdasarkan total skor 178, nilai rata-rata = 35,6 danindek tingkat pengetahuan 74,17. Tingkat kesiapsiagaan guru SMKMuhammadiyah 1 Prambanan terhadap bencana gempabumi masuk kedalam kategori “Sangat siap” dengan berdasarkan total skor total skor939, skor indeks guru = 83,99 dan indek tingkat kesiapsiagaan 83,99.

Abstract

Daerah agrowisata kebun belimbing Ngringinrejo kecamatan Kalitidu Bojonegoro merupakan salah satu tempat wisata yang ada di kabupaten Bojonegoro. Kebun agrowisata ini memiliki luas ± 20,4 hektar, yang dikelola oleh 80 petani, dan sangat potensial untuk dikembangkan. Kegiatan pendampingan yang dilakukan meliputi pengembangan aneka produk olahan dari belimbing manis (Averhoa carambola L.). Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah pengembangan potensi buah segar belimbing dan produk olahannya menjadi produk-produk yang bermanfaat dan bernilai ekonomis, yang dapat dipromosikan sebagai produk unggulan dan menjadi oleh-oleh khas agrowisata belimbing dari kabupaten Bojonegoro. Hasil kegiatan pendampingan yang telah dilakukan, dihasilkan produk olahan berupa sari buah, sirup/ madu sari buah dan egg roll dari buah belimbing yang masing-masing telah dikemas dalam tampilan kemasan yang menarik untuk dapat dipasarkan secara luas. Perbaikan proses produksi, peningkatan nilai tambah dan perbaikan tampilan kemasan dari pengembangan produk olahan dari belimbing ini, diharapkan dapat memberikan multifier effect tumbuhnya unit-unit bisnis baru, meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan memperkuat keunggulan produk lokal khas dari kabupaten Bojonegoro. Produk DomestikRegionalBruto (PDRB)KabupatenBojonegoroselama kurunwaktu2008s/d2012menurut harga berlakumengalami peningkatandaritahun ketahun.Padatahun2008PDRBDenganMigas atasdasarhargaberlakusebesarRp. 13.708.107,95jutasedangkandi tahun2012meningkatmenjadiRp. 30.043.184,71juta. Tigasektoryangmenjadi penyumbang utamaPDRBKabupaten Bojonegoro tahun2012adalah sektor pertambangan danpenggalian (42,02%) disusulsektor Pertanian (19,55%) dansektorPerdagangan, HoteldanRestoran(13,62%). Sektor pertanian di kabupaten Bojonegoro memiliki potensi yang sangat besar, dan telah menjadikan Bojonegoro sebagai salah satu kabupaten Lumbung Pangan Nasional di Indonesia. Abstract

In the Pemitra community service activities for development cleaner farming in Desa Ngunut Kecamatan Jumantono kabupaten Karanganyar, has been done for directing activities, training, and mentoring for farmers of cattle and chickens in Desa Ngunut, Jumantono, Karanganyar. In this Pemitra activities have been conductedbriefings and training on producing of liquid and solid organic fertilizer, planting cassava  and  sengon  by  utilizing  manure,  the  introduction  of  biogas  technology applications on cattle ranchers. The results that have been obtained from this Pemitra community activities that partners have been able to understand and have the skills for managing livestock clean the biogas technology applications, the use of probiotics or fermentator in farm management, made of solid and liquid organic fertilizer, as well as the use of organic fertilizer for agricultural development cassava and sengon. The constraints and problems had been faced by the partners were 1) lack of farmer groups  that have  organizational unity  in designing,  managing, implementing  and evaluating the work program. So that the unity and continuity in performing community service activities can not be done well, 2) Most of the participants were active inpemitra was the village officials and their family, so not much give a breadth of benefits to the general public.

Abstract

School as an institution where children get education, teaching and learning so that the school produced a superior human beings and qualified. Kartasura PCM is one of the flagship PCM in PDM Sukoharjo have elementary school level that has been known in the community, namely: MIM PK Muhammadiyah Kartasura, MIM Pucangan, Kertonatan MIM, MIM Gonilan and SDIT Al Kawthar Makamhaji Kartasura. The current fifth that grade school has a good reputation in the community. This community service aimed to increased awareness of the environment from all components of school at Muhammadiyah Elementary schools in PCM Kartasura. The first stage wasthe policy workshop school by school leaders and teachers, the second was distribute the grant of trash cans and posters, the third stage wasparticipatory education of Hole Infiltration Biopori and the fourth stage was monitoring. Monitoring results found that posters used as it should be, but the trash cans are still not being used properly, placement of trash cans were not side by side and still foundedthe organic waste mix with an organic waste in the same trash cans. Abstract

The village has a population Eromoko Pucung in District 444 families (2,354 people) which includes 7 hamlet, in the dry season is always a shortage of clean water for daily use. At the peak of the dry season are forced to buy water being sold privately at a price of Rp200,000 / car tank (volume 4 m³) for the use of approximately 20  days.  In  order to  overcome the  problems of  water  needs,  the Pucung  Village Government took the initiative to manage groundwater resources that exist in the Suruh Cave. Removal activities river water underground community empowerment aimed at utilization of underground water in the Cave Have to solving the problem ofwater supply daily needs of society in Pucung Village, District Eromoko, Wonogiri. The success of water removal program is expected to reduce the price of 1 m³ water needs of the original with a maximum price of Rp 50,000 to Rp 5,000 only.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service, assess and understand; 1) learning implementation strategy IPS (Social Sciences) Curriculum 2013 based on lesson study in  the  School of  Muhammadiyah  Kartasura.  2)  Rationalization  and  elements  of curriculum change in 2013. 3) The process of learning and assessment processes appropriate to the curriculum in 2013. The method used; workshops and training. The Place; SMK Muhammadiyah Kartasura. Execution time; odd semester 2014/2015. Subject: Elementary School teachers, Junior High School, High School and Vocational High School Muhammadiyah Kartasura. The results achieved; 1) learning implementation strategy IPS (Social Sciences) curriculum-based lesson study 203 through  three  stages, namely;  plan  (planning),  do  (action  and  observation),  see (reflection).  2) Rationalization and elements of curriculum change in 2013 stressed on; a) The scientific approach is based approach to encourage student creativity; b)Integrity of the competence of knowledge, skills, and attitudes; c) Integrity of the curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. 3) The learning process is emphasized in the curriculum in 2013; (A) Integrated Thematic for elementary school level, (b) Approach Science (Natural Sciences) and IPS (Social Sciences) of partitive aggregative be integrated melt (liquid integrative), (c) religious and moral education, (d) learning objects; natural phenomena, social, and cultural arts. While the emphasisin  the assessment  process; assessment  student  achievement  by  using  descriptive qualitative and quantitative numerical. Learning implementation strategy IPS (Social Sciences) 203 curriculum-based lesson study using a modified model of lesson study, achievement indicators for a significant increase from the prior worhshop and trainingafter the workshop, namely; 30%: 80% (pre-test: post-test).

Abstract

Program Produk Teknologi yang didiseminasikan kepada masyarakat di Desa Selo Boyolali bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan riset unggulan tentang energi terbarukan dan rekayasa lingkungan yang mendukung pengembangan desa wisata alam. Desa Selo terletak di antara Gunung Merbabu dan Gunung Merapi yang merupakan kawasan wisata alam dengan pemandangan gunung di utara dan selatannya. Obyek wisata yang ditawarkan antara lain pendakian gunung, outbound, dan New Selo (Pos Pengamatan Gunung Merapi). Di Selo juga terdapat kesenian tradisional Topeng Ireng, Jathilan, Reog Ponorogo, Kethoprak, dan terkenal dengan hasil pertanian sayuran dan buah-buahan. Sampah sayuran dan buah-buahan berdampak negatif bagi lingkungan desa, menjadi berbau dan kotor yang akan mempengaruhi kunjungan wisatawan. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan pengembangan teknologi untuk pengolahan sampah sayuran yang dapat menghasilkan biogas sebagai energi terbarukan dan dapat dikembangkan sebagai obyek wisata yang ramah lingkungan. Pada penerapannya di lapangan dilakukan model biogas 3in1, yaitu biogas berbahan dasar 3 jenis sekaligus, yaitu: sampah sayur, kotoran sapi dan kotoran manusia. Penggunaan metode pengelolaan limbah ini tidak hanya bersifat “penanganan” namun juga memiliki nilai guna/manfaat sebagai energi terbarukan dan limbah cair yang keluar dari digester dimanfaatkan sebagai pupuk organik tanaman sayuran dan pertanian lainnya. Teknologi ini dapat menurunkan padatan pencemar berkisar 75-90% dan berdampak positif pada lingkungan yang bersih dan tak berbau. Teknologi yang yang dihasilkan berupa gas metana (CH4 ) yang merupakan energi terbarukan dari hasil konsep recycle yang menguntungkan bagi masyarakat, karena selain limbahnya tertangani dengan baik, juga dapat dihasilkan sumber energi terbarukan.

Abstract

Landslide was the movement of soil or rock down the slope through the sliding plane. Landslide is one form of masswasting that often occurs in research area Kemalang Sub District, Klaten District. Purpose of the research was : (1) analyze the level of landslide hazard in Kemalang Sub District, Klaten District, and (2) determine distribution of landslide in Kemalang Sub District, Klaten District. The parameters that being used were slope, rainfall, landuse, soil depth, rock weathering, soil structure and soil texture. The method that being used are weighting and scoring. Analysis spatial used quantitative tiered weighted approach.The giving of weight values based on the level of parameters that influence landslide. The result of the research was landslide hazard classification in Kemalang Sub District consist of three class, namely medium, high and very high. The distribution of landslide hazard include :(1) Keputran Village, Kemalang, Dompol, Tangkil, Bumiharjo, Bawukan, Talun, part of Panggang Village, Kendalsari, Tlogowatu and a small areain south side of Sidorejo Village with landslide hazard is medium which has area 29,89 km², (2) some area in Balerante Village, Sidorejo andnorthernmost Tegalmulyo that abut with top slope of Merapi Mountain with very high landslide hazard and total area 11,365 km², and (3) some area in Balerante Village, Sidorejo, Tegalmulyo, Kendalsari, Tlogowatu, and Panggang with high landslide hazard and total area 16,174 km².Keyword: spasial analysis, landslide hazard, weighting approach

Abstract

Pucung village located in the Mount Sewu karst region which is the area near the top with a height of 550 m dpal. The village has a population of 544 families with 4,190 people which more than half (2,350 people) have difficulty getting clean water for daily use. The average income of families is IDR 600,000 per month. When the dry season comes, they have to lose half of their income to buy water. Although since 2013 the lifting of underground river water fromthe Suruh Cave successfully meet the needs of clean water in the Pucung village, however, the distribution of water encountered some constraints, namely: first, the pumping discharge is still a little so that the availability of water for the population is still lacking; and second, the unevendistribution of water causing social problems such as jealousy between residents who already get water to residents who do not get water. Therefore, it is necessary to empowering the communities to manage water resources of the underground river in Pucung so that water needs fulfilled in a fair and equitable. This paper was written from the results of the implementation of the community service program conducted by the Faculty of Geography UMS. Community empowerment is done in the form of trainingand assistance to the community Pucung in managing water resources of the underground river. The issue of lack of water flow can be solved with increased discharge pumping, that is by increasing the capacity of submersible pumps from 1.5 HP to 2 HP. This replacement is able toincrease the pumping discharge from the previous 0.9 liters to 1.2 liters per second per second. The time it takes to fill a tank with a capacity of 12,000 liters using a 1.5 HP pump takes 3 hours 42 minutes, whereas with pump 2 HP takes 2 hours 47 minutes. This means that an increase in the capacity of the pump provides a pumping efficiency. While the problem of uneven distribution of water caused by a less orderly management, resolved by the establishment of a community-based organization named "Tirta Goa Suruh". The establishment of the organization accompanied by the establishment of organizations ranging from discussion,the selection board, management training organization, technical skills training to setup and use vertical work tool and equipment maintenance. Moreover, also conducted training for the youth of Pucung village the introduction of vertical work equipment, their installation and usage, so that they are expected to become the next generation board Tirta Suruh Goa.
