Abstract

Tourism destinations in Magetan Regency are one of the superior products in generating local revenue, but are not yet supported by pure, dynamic websig technology to increase the attractiveness of existing tourist destinations. This research aims to compile a database for tourism applications using a web-based Geographic Information System by analyzing the usability test results of tourist applications, so that they can become web-based tourism applications for the community. The method used in this research is the quantitative waterfall method to build a web-based tourism application. The database used in the Magetan Kumandang web-based tourism application uses 3 databases, namely PostGIS, Geoserver and phpMyAdmin. The Magetan Kumandang web-based tourism application interface was created using PHP programming supported by JS, HTLM, Leaflet and CSS. The results of the calculation of the usability test data for the Magetan Kumandang webgis tourism application produced a feasibility percentage value of 75.6% or included in the "Satisfactory" classification. From the results of the usability test, it is hoped that the Magetan Kumandang web-based tourism application will become a recommendation for the local government of Magetan Regency to provide a tourist webgis to promote tourism objects. must be short, interesting, simple, and easy to understand without reading the entire article. Therefore, avoid jargon, abbreviations and references.

Abstract

Tegal city is located on the main transportation route of Central Java's pantura and has strong trade access. Due to its strategic location, the city's significant development led to an increase in built-up land. The growth of built-up land indicates an overall increase in temperature that affects urban heat island conditions and urban ecology. The data used in this study is from Landsat 8 accessed from Google Earth Engine. The research aims to 1) analyze the phenomena of urban heat island (UHI) and 2) urban ecological conditions related to temperature based on the value of urban thermal field variance index (UTFVI). The results of the research show that spatial relationship between the East and South of Tegal City with Tegal Regency caused almost all of its territory classified as affected areas. In addition, the East Tegal area is the center of the city where all concentrations of economic activities, education centers, and government service centers in Tegal City. Linkage of Evaluation the urban ecological conditions in the aspect of land surface temperature based on UTFVI values showed the same pattern.

Abstract

Over the years, electricity has developed into a crucial commodity for any nation. The need to evaluate the rate of electricity consumption in regard to utility management and the spatial distribution of major devices to facilitate appropriate planning within the estate is the motivation for this research. This study used geospatial technology to evaluate the electricity distribution to support planning and management in Omole Estate (Phase One) and environs within the city of Lagos, Nigeria. The focus was on determining the land use in study area, geolocations of the transformers, along with the cost of energy consumed per household. Spatial data for the research area was collected through a Hand-held GPS. Google Earth images were downloaded to supplement the data, and a comprehensive analysis of administered and recovered questionnaires was conducted to enrich the dataset. ArcGIS 10.6.1 software was employed to create the database and depict the area, whilst modifying all of the details required within. The result confirms that 72% of the respondents use electricity for domestic use, 18% for commercial use while 10% utilise it for domestic and commercial use. A significant portion of homes (33%) still use outdated postpaid meters and 35% of respondents do not know how much power they use at home each month or the cost per unit of that electricity. Regarding the respondents, 67% have a prepaid card/electrical meter installed (per kilowatt). Concerning cost, 10% of the respondents spends between N1000-N5000 for their monthly electricity consumption, 27% of the respondents between N5,000 and N10,000, 38% between N10,000 and N17,000, 24% between N17,000 and N25,000 and 2% above N25,000 per month on electricity. These findings will assist effective power distribution within the estate and provide guidance on charge rates for commercial power users which is approximately 28% overall.

Abstract

Along with the increasing population in Grobogan Regency, the need for sufficient clothing and boards will increase. The Grobogan area is in a karst area with the agricultural and blasting sectors contributing the biggest sources of GRDP. Agriculture is dominated by dry farming. The area of forest land (vegetation is the second largest in Central Java. The study aimed to determine the dynamics of changes that occur in land cover (agricultural areas, vacant land, built-up areas, vegetation, and water bodies), focusing on built-up areas and vegetation. Data processing uses the help of sentinel imagery for the period 2019-2023 which is then processed using the maximum likelihood method which is then tested for accuracy to match the actual conditions on the ground Vegetation (forest) The second biggest change is the conversion to agricultural land. This is also marked by areas the area found which is indicated as an increasing settlement.
