Abstract

Luka bakar tidak hanya merusak kulit; luka bakar dapat menyebar lebih dalam dan lebih luas serta memengaruhi banyak jaringan. Penelitian ini menyelidiki efek gel ekstrak daun Phaseolus vulgaris L. terhadap pertumbuhan rambut pada tikus putih jantan galur Wistar yang mengalami luka bakar. Luka bakar diinduksi pada bagian punggung tikus, dan tikus dibagi menjadi beberapa kelompok: kelompok kontrol, kelompok luka bakar, dan kelompok perlakuan yang menerima dosis gel ekstrak daun Phaseolus vulgaris L. yang berbeda. Pertumbuhan rambut dinilai dengan mengukur panjang pertumbuhan kembali rambut di area luka bakar, dan pemeriksaan histopatologi jaringan kulit dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi kondisi folikel rambut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian gel ekstrak daun Phaseolus vulgaris L. secara signifikan mempercepat pertumbuhan kembali rambut di area luka bakar. Gel tersebut memperbaiki kondisi histopatologi jaringan kulit yang rusak akibat luka bakar. Gel ekstrak daun tersebut ditemukan memiliki potensi dalam mendukung proses regenerasi rambut pada luka bakar.

Abstract

Defense diplomacy is a strategic instrument in international relations that emphasizes the use of military power as a means to build trust, prevent conflict, and strengthen security cooperation among states. From the perspective of international law, this form of diplomacy plays a crucial role in the development of norms and international regimes aimed at supporting global stability and peace. This article analyzes the strategic role of defense diplomacy within the framework of international law, employing a normative juridical approach and a qualitative method based on recent literature studies. The findings indicate that defense diplomacy is effective in reinforcing collective security regimes and international norms, although it continues to face challenges related to differing national interests, legal interpretations, and issues of state sovereignty. Strengthening the international legal framework is therefore necessary to ensure that defense diplomacy can be conducted fairly, transparently, and in accordance with the principles of international law.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mengkaji persoalan batas usia pernikahan di Indonesia dari perspektif hukum Islam dan peraturan perundang-undangan nasional. Dalam konteks hukum positif Indonesia, batas usia minimal pernikahan telah diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 dan mengalami perubahan melalui Undang-Undang Nomor 16 Tahun 2019 yang menyamakan usia minimal menikah bagi pria dan wanita menjadi 19 tahun. Sementara itu, dalam hukum Islam, tidak ditemukan batas usia minimal secara eksplisit, namun syarat baligh dan kesiapan fisik serta mental menjadi pertimbangan utama. Artikel ini juga membahas tentang praktik dispensasi nikah yang muncul sebagai solusi hukum atas pernikahan di bawah umur. Pendekatan fikih menunjukkan perbedaan pandangan antar mazhab mengenai usia baligh, sedangkan hukum nasional memberikan batasan lebih tegas demi perlindungan anak dan ketahanan keluarga. Kesimpulannya, dispensasi nikah merupakan jalan tengah antara prinsip-prinsip fikih dan perlindungan hukum terhadap anak, dengan menekankan pentingnya kematangan calon mempelai baik secara fisik maupun psikis.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kompetensi teknologi guru taman kanak-kanak (TK) dalam mengelola administrasi sekolah secara manual, yang menyebabkan inefisiensi waktu dan tingginya potensi kesalahan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi digital guru untuk mengoptimalkan proses administrasi sekolah. Pelaksanaan dilakukan di TK ABA V Tlenggongan, TK ABA VI Imogiri, dan TK ABA VII Imogiri dengan melibatkan 30 guru sebagai peserta. Metode yang digunakan meliputi identifikasi masalah, pelatihan penggunaan Microsoft Excel, pendampingan intensif, dan evaluasi hasil pelatihan. Pelatihan dirancang untuk membekali guru dengan keterampilan teknologi yang relevan guna mendukung efisiensi administrasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kompetensi yang sangat signifikan, dengan rata-rata nilai post-test mencapai 86,4%, jauh melampaui nilai pre-test sebesar 40,2%. Peningkatan ini mencerminkan keberhasilan program dalam meningkatkan kemampuan guru menggunakan teknologi untuk administrasi sekolah, mengurangi kesalahan, dan menghemat waktu. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi model bagi pengembangan kompetensi digital guru di lembaga pendidikan lain, mendukung transformasi digital dalam pengelolaan administrasi sekolah yang lebih efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

This research aims to enhance the accuracy of earthquake magnitude prediction through an integration of data augmentation techniques and machine learning based on the Random Forest Regressor, supported by geospatial visualization for in-depth analysis. The dataset used originates from the USGS (United States Geological Survey) in CSV format, encompassing over a thousand global earthquake events within one month, with seismic parameters such as location (latitude, longitude), depth, magnitude, and recording quality. In the context of imbalanced data—dominated by small earthquakes and rare large ones—a data augmentation technique based on noise injection into spatial features (latitude, longitude) and depth was applied, resulting in a dataset five times larger than the original. Evaluation results demonstrate significant improvement in model performance: MAE decreased from 0.2467 to 0.1046 (a 57.6% reduction), RMSE dropped from 0.3499 to 0.1868 (a 46.6% decrease), MSE reduced from 0.1225 to 0.0349 (a 71.5% reduction), and R² increased from 0.9493 to 0.9817. These improvements confirm that data augmentation not only reduces overfitting but also strengthens the model’s ability to predict large-magnitude earthquakes—classes most critical for disaster mitigation. Geospatial visualization displays the spatiotemporal distribution of earthquakes, identifying active seismic hotspots in regions such as the Pacific Ring of Fire, California, Alaska, and Indonesia. This research proves that data augmentation is not merely a supplementary technique but a crucial strategy to enhance model generalization and predictive performance, particularly for rare yet high-impact seismic events. The findings offer significant scientific and practical contributions to seismic hazard mitigation and risk mapping, with potential applications in early warning systems and real-time disaster response.

Abstract

To speak English, someone, especially among students, needs to master several verbs, and one of the obstacles to speaking English is the lack of verbs among students. Therefore, students face various obstacles. Anxiety is one of the biggest obstacles for students. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to find out what is students' anxiety and what factors cause students' anxiety when speaking in English in class. The sample of this study was MIPA 5 students of XI class of SMAN 1 Parepare which consisted of 35 students. The approach used in this study is descriptive research and qualitative. This study uses two research instruments namely Horowitz et al. (1986) used the Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS) and interviews. The questionnaire had 33 items consisting of 9 positive and 24 negative statements on a Likert scale of 1-5 points, while the interview consisted of 10 questions. According to the survey's findings, there was only 1 respondent with a "Very Anxious" anxiety level or 3%, 5 respondents had "Anxious" anxiety levels or 14%, 6 respondents had "Mildly Anxious" anxiety levels or 46%, 13 respondents had "Relaxed" anxiety levels or 37%, and there were no students with a "Very Relaxed" anxiety level. Considering this, it can be said that the students in Class XI MIPA 5 SMAN 1 Parepare are generally "Mildly Anxious" when speaking English in class. According to the results of the interviews, it is clear that some students who are learning English in a classroom setting still experience anxiety. The factors contributing to this include a lack of vocabulary, imprecise pronunciation, a lack of confidence, being unprepared if the teacher calls on a student to speak in English without warning, and a lack of motivation on the part of the students. From 35 students in class XI MIPA 5, the researchers only interviewed 14 sources.

Abstract

Population growth and technology development are increasing rapidly. These cause the use of energy on the earth is increasing. One effort to obtain energy sources is to utilize solar energy using solar water heater. This research was expected to help the society to save energy derived from fossils. A testing was conducted by designing solar water heater with collector size of 60 cm x 50 cm using black painted aluminum-coated styrofoam insulator and the storage tank made of stainless steel with volume of 40 liter using black painted aluminum-coated styrofoam. In conducting the testing, the data were taken at 09.00 a.m until 04.00 p.m for 5 days. The research was conducted at ITD Adisutjipto. The analysis and discussion showed the solar water heater design and the storage tank used to perform performance the test (efficiency). Within 5 days testing the average of water temperature out (Tout) was 59.75 oC to 76.59 oC with the average rate efficiency of 54.07 % to 54.9 % and the average storage drop rate of 2.97 K / Hr or 17.84 K for 6 hours

Abstract

In this study, the authors conducted a study on the analysis of the effect of oxy-acetylene welding joints on tensile strength and microstructure in the HAZ and weld metal areas on st 37 steel plates. The results of this study indicate that the average value of the highest tensile strength value is at V groove weld with the average strength of the welded joint is 4.796 kgf/mm2. While the lowest tensile stress is on the I groove weld of 4.674 kgf/mm2. Meanwhile, from the microstructure test, it can be seen that in the HAZ area each groove. Microstructure in the HAZ area shows that the double V groove  weld types are fine ferrite, coarse pearlite and martensite. In type V groove  weld the structures formed are ferrite, coarse pearlite and martensite. In type I groove  weld the structures formed are ferrite, grain boundary ferrite and fine pearlite. Whereas in the weld metal area, and the results of the microstructure test of the weld area on the V seam, it shows a dense microstructure arrangement, the arrangement is identical to pearlite (dark color) so that the specimen is harder.

Abstract

Pengolahan limbah biochar menjadi briket untuk dijadikan biogas dalam rangka mendukung proses pemanggangan pengolahan kopi arabika merupakan salah satu inovasi energi alternatif untuk mendukung ketahanan energi. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komposisi briket dengan campuran limbah kulit kopi dan debu kayu terhadap nilai kalor, kadar air, kadar abu, dan uji densitas. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimental. Pada komposisi II nilai densitasnya paling tinggi karena jumlah serbuk gergaji paling banyak. karena dengan perlakuan gaya tekan manual maka partikel arang akan mengalami kompresi sesuai dengan gaya tekan yang diberikan. Hasil penelitian komposisi I menghasilkan nilai kalor sebesar 5922 kal/gr, komposisi II menghasilkan nilai kalor sebesar 6072 kal/gr. Hasil pengujian kadar abu SNI 01-6235-2000 tentang briket arang, kadar abu yang diperbolehkan tidak melebihi 8%. Kadar abu yang dihasilkan pada komposisi I sesuai dengan standar yang ditentukan.

Abstract

Citric acid was utilized as a bonding agent in the production of Sembilang bamboo particleboard. The limitation in using bamboo for particleboard production is that the silica content in bamboo skin can accelerate particleboard processing machines' bluntness and reduce particle adherence in particleboard manufacturing. This research aimed to investigate the influence of bamboo skin and citric acid content on the characteristics of Sembilang bamboo particleboard. Particleboards were prepared using bamboo particles (type A) and unskinned bamboo particles (type B). The citric acid solution (59%) was sprayed over the surface of bamboo particles to obtain three different levels of citric acid, i.e., 15, 20, and 25 % (based on bamboo particles’ dry weight). The Sembilang bamboo particleboards were manufactured using a hot-pressing machine at 200°C, 5 MPa for 10 min. The particleboard targeted density was 0.8 g/cm3. The type B particleboards’ internal bond (IB), modulus of rupture (MOR), water absorption (WA), and thickness swelling (TS) were superior compared to the type A particleboards. This was influenced by the lower concentration of silica in type B particleboards, which tend to allow an intimate contact area among particles and citric acid then produced better quality particleboards compared to type A particleboards. The type B particleboards met the obligation of JIS A 5908 for type 18 particleboard in terms of modulus of rupture, modulus of elasticity, and internal bond, however, only fulfilled the type 8 particleboard in terms of screw holding power.
