Abstract

Writing is one of the English language competencies that, in addition to other skills, must be taught. According to the government's recommended curriculum, junior high school students must study a number of texts. Descriptive text is one of them. A descriptive text is a piece of writing that describes something, someone, or a situation. Most of the students have difficulty with it. They are confused about what to write, despite the fact that they are familiar with the subject. As a result, the researcher tried to use the reverse classroom strategy in this research. The researcher applied a pre-experimental method with two groups, namely, pre-test and post-test. The researcher applies the flipped classroom strategy in presenting the material. The population in this research were seventh grade students at SMP Muhammadiyah parepare in the 2021/2022 academic year. The sample in this research was taken using purposive sampling, consisting of 18 students from one class, taken from the seventh grade student population of SMP Muhammadiyah Parepare as an experimental class. The results of the data analysis showed that the students writing abilities increased, but not significantly. The results of the pre-test got an average score of 45,55% while the post-test got an average score of 79,94%. It means that, teaching writing through the flipped classroom can help some students with their writing texts. In addition, the average post-test score of 79,94 is higher than the minimu criteria at SMP Muhammadiyah Parepare, which is 70. While analyzing the data using the t-test formula, the results show that the test value (0,2144) is lower than the t-table ((α = 0.05: 1.739). This means that the null hypothesis (H0) is accepted and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is rejected. The research concluded that teaching writing through the flipped classroom was able to improve students wr.iting abilities, but not significantly.

Abstract

Pandemic Covid-19 is a problem that is afflicting almost every country in the world. Learning that is done face-to-face at school has turned into online learning that is accessed at home. This online learning applies to all levels of education, from elementary school to university. All lessons, including English, are conducted online. The change in the system is expected to support learning during pandemics, but it is reaping various problems among the community and even those involved in learning. This research uses qualitative research with the case study method. Participants in this study consisted of seven students and two English teachers at SMA Negeri 4 Parepare. In addition, this study conducted semi-structured interviews to obtain data. The results of this study indicate that the learning carried out during pandemic covid-19 has not been maximally implemented. Teachers and students try to apply the applicable learning system but are hampered by various problems such as internet network access and difficulty understanding the material.

Abstract

To speak English, someone especially among students, needs to master several verbs, and one of the obstacles to speaking English is the lack of verbs among students. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to find out what is students' anxiety and what factors cause students' anxiety when speaking in English in class. The sample of this study was MIPA 5 students of XI class of SMAN 1 Parepare which consisted of 35 students. The approach used in this study is descriptive research and qualitative. This study uses two research instruments namely Horowitz et al. (1986) used the Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS) and interviews. The questionnaire had 33 items consisting of 9 positive and 24 negative statements on a Likert scale of 1-5 points, while the interview consisted of 10 questions. According to the survey's findings, there was only 1 respondent with a "Very Anxious" anxiety level or 3%, 5 respondents had "Anxious" anxiety levels or 14%, 6 respondents had "Mildly Anxious" anxiety levels or 46%, 13 respondents had "Relaxed" anxiety levels or 37%, and there were no students with a "Very Relaxed" anxiety level. Considering this, it can be said that the students in Class XI MIPA 5 SMAN 1 Parepare are generally "Mildly Anxious" when speaking English in class. According to the results of the interviews, it is clear that some students who are learning English in a classroom setting still experience anxiety. The factors contributing to this include a lack of vocabulary, imprecise pronunciation, a lack of confidence, being unprepared if the teacher calls on a student to speak in English without warning, and a lack of motivation on the part of the students. From 35 students in class XI MIPA 5, the researchers only interviewed 14 sources.

Abstract

Pengelolaan kinerja pegawai adalah aspek kunci dalam menjaga produktivitas dan kualitas kerja dalam institusi, dalam hal ini institusi pendidikan seperti UTDI. Dalam lingkungan kerja yang sangat kompetitif dan dinamis, penting bagi institusi untuk mengidentifikasi, mengakui, dan memberikan penghargaan kepada pegawai yang telah memberikan kontribusi yang luar biasa terhadap pencapaian tujuan. Untuk mencapai hal ini, seringkali menggunakan metode penilaian kinerja pegawai. Metode menentukan pemberian penghargaan kepada pegawai yang memiliki kinerja luar biasa, digunakan pendekatan gabungan yang terdiri dari metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) dan Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Metode SAW digunakan untuk menghitung skor kinerja pegawai dengan memberikan bobot pada kriteria penilaian. Bobot ini didasarkan pada perbandingan pentingnya masing-masing kriteria. Penilaian kinerja menggunakan metode AHP dan SAW memberikan hasil yang sistematis dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Visualisasi yang disajikan membantu memperkuat pemahaman terhadap hubungan antar kriteria dan bagaimana kinerja pegawai dinilai secara keseluruhan. Metode ini sangat bermanfaat dalam konteks penilaian multi-kriteria di berbagai organisasi.

Abstract

Desa merupakan ujung tombak pembangunan ekonomi lokal yang kaya akan potensi sumber daya alam dan usaha kecil menengah. Salah satu solusi yang bisa ditawarkan adalah penerapan Sistem Informasi Desa (SID) sebagai alat untuk memfasilitasi pengelolaan UMKM. Sistem Informasi Desa (SID) adalah sebuah platform teknologi informasi yang dirancang khusus untuk mengelola data dan informasi terkait desa. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini melalui pendekatan deskriptif, dengan menggunakan sumber data instrument meliputi wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, serta analisis dokumen. Hasil kegiatan yang dilaksanakan di Desa Pandung Batu, Kecamatan Baraka, Kabupaten Enrekang menunjukkan hasil terkait: manfaat yang diperoleh Sistem Informasi Desa dalam Pengelolaan UMKM, Kendala dalam pemanfaatan Sistem Informasi Desa serta Strategi Pengembangan Pemanfaatan Sistem Informasi Desa. Sistem Informasi Desa (SID) memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam mendukung pengelolaan UMKM di Desa Pandung Batu, Kecamatan Baraka, Kabupaten Enrekang. Dengan SID, pelaku UMKM dapat meningkatkan akses terhadap informasi pasar, transparansi dalam pengelolaan usaha, serta efisiensi dalam pengelolaan administrasi dan keuangan. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi, rendahnya literasi digital, dan kurangnya pendampingan teknis perlu diatasi untuk memaksimalkan manfaat SID bagi pengembangan UMKM di desa tersebut.

Abstract

Tulisan ini merupakan upaya untuk mengungkapkan hasil temuan selama menjadiguest lecturer pada RMUTK. Guest lecturer sendiri bertujuan untuk meningkatkankinerja dosen yang pada gilirannya akan meningkatkan kinerja mahasiswa.Metode yang digunakan meliputi teori sosial, budaya dan komunikasi. Tiap fragmenyang ditemui di lapangan dianalisis dengan prinsip – prinsip dari ilmu – ilmutersebut.Hasil temuan yaitu bahwa filosofi pendidikan di RMUTK menganut prinsipkomplementasi dan bukan kompetisi. Dalam berbagai hal prinsip ini dapat secaraalamiah menempatkan posisi mahasiswa yang berbakat dan kurang berbakat padafungsinya masing – masing.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Kualitas Pelayanan dan Kepuasan TerhadapLoyalitas Pelanggan Di Mirota Kampus Yogyakarta“, penulis meneliti apakah ada hubungan yangpositif antara kualitas pelayanan dan kepuasan dengan loyalitas pelanggan di Mirota KampusYogyakarta.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tanggapan pelanggan terhadap kualitaspelayanan yang diberikan Mirota Kampus Yogyakarta. Kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan diMirota Kampus Yogyakarta.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan verifikatifmelalui pendekatan survey. Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah denganmetode probability sampling yaitu metode pengambilan sampel di mana setiap objek yang ada dipopulasi mempunyai kesempatan yang sama untuk dijadikan sampel. Serta metode area samplingadalah metode pengambilan sampel berdasarkan pada lokasi tertentu (Wahyuni, 2012:6-7).Dengan ukuran populasi (N)=59,677, maka jumlah pelanggan yang akan dijadikan respondendihitung menggunakan rumus solvin (Nasir, Dkk :2011:196) jumlah responden penelitian dengantingkat kesalahan sebesar 10% adalah 60 responden.Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan koefisien korelasi adalah sebesar 0,493. Artinya variabelkualitas pelayanan (𝑋1), dan kepuasan (𝑋2) memiliki keeratan hubungan yang sedang denganloyalitas pelanggan (Y) Mirota Kampus Yogyakarta. Perhitungan koefisien determinasi dalampersen diproleh hasil sebesar 24,3%. Artinya variabel kualitas pelayanan (𝑋1), dan kepuasan (𝑋2)mempunyai pengaruh terhadap loyalitas pelanggan (Y) sebesar 24,3% dan sisanya 75,7%dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Sedangkan hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh bahwa nilai 𝐹ℎ𝑖𝑡𝑢𝑛𝑔(9,131) ≥ 𝐹𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑒𝑙 (1,672) artinya 𝐻0 ditolak dan 𝐻𝑎 diterima. Dengan demikian kualitas pelayanan(𝑋1), dan kepuasan (𝑋2) mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas pelanggan (Y) MirotaKampus Yogyakarta.Kata Kunci : Kualitas Pelayanan, Kepuasan, Loyalitas

Abstract

In photography, the camera is the main tool for take the image. The development of technology makes cameras easy to use. Through a smartphone, one can take pictures and then save or share them. Various social media applications provide camera features and editing features before uploading. This research conducts an analysis study of social media camera features that are most widely and frequently used by Generation Z Indonesians. The analysis study will begin with data collection through distributing questionnaires to 187 respondents. The number of respondents is obtained from the sample calculation using the Lameshow formula. From the results of data collection, the 2 most popular social media will be taken to be observed regarding their camera features. From the results of observations, researchers will analyze each original photo and photo results that have used filters from social media, in order to determine the file size produced and also the use of camera sensors that affect image quality. This research aims to provide knowledge related to the selection of camera media by considering the size of photo files and the quality of digital photos to be stored in memory or to be uploaded.

Abstract

Medical disputes are one of the most complex legal issues, particularly in the process of proving negligence, which must be carried out by the patient or plaintiff. This article examines the challenges of proving medical disputes in Indonesia, with a case study of the Cikarang District Court Decision No. 120/Pdt.G/2019/PN Ckr. In this case, the plaintiff faced difficulties in proving medical negligence, mainly because the complications experienced were considered medical risks that had been previously explained. This analysis highlights the challenges in distinguishing natural complications from actual medical negligence, as well as ethical issues related to the culture of peer protection among medical professionals that affect the objectivity of expert opinions. Additionally, the lack of adequate standards of proof and the role of independent institutions, such as MKDKI, complicate efforts to prove medical disputes. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen standards of proof in medical disputes, enhance the role of independent expert witnesses, and ensure transparency in informed consent procedures to improve patient protection and legal justice.

Abstract

Pekerjaan bekisting penggunaan kayu tergolong tinggi, hal ini karena kayu bersifat sekali pakai. Hal ini sangat berpengaruh pada biaya dan waktu. Saat ini galvalum sering digunakan dalam bekisting sebagai bahan alternatif untuk menggantikan kayu. Tujuan dari perencanaan ini untuk mengetahui kekuatan dari bekisting semi konvensional, penjadwalan, dan biaya operasional proyek Mall Lagoon Avenue Sungkono dengan 8 lantai dari total 10 lantai dengan luasan 60.170,8 m2. Data yang digunakan meliputi gambar kerja dan harga satuan pekerjaan Kota Surabaya tahun 2018. Untuk penjadwalan mengunakan bantuan Microsoft Project 2016 dan Microsoft Excel 2016 untuk perhitungan biaya pelaksanaan. Pada pekerjaan bekisting balok dan plat dengan metode semi konvensional dari lantai basement 2 sampai lantai 4 membutuhkan waktu 161 hari dan total biaya sebesar Rp. 8.650.189.197.
