Abstract

Abstrak  Program kepala sekolah yang efektif merupakan salah satu faktor penentu peningkatan mutu lulusan dan keberhasilan pendidikan di sekolah.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui program, strategi, kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu lulusan.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi.  Subjek  dalam  penelitian  ini  adalah:  kepala  sekolah,  wakil  kepala  sekolah,  komite sekolah, waka pengajaran, ketua MGMP dan dewan guru. Hasil penelitan diperoleh: (1) program peningkatan mutu lulusan pendidikan dengan meningkatkan mutu proses mengajar guru, mengadakan pelatihan-pelatihan, kompetensi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, menerapkan manajemen terbuka, melakukan kerja sama dengan internal dan eksternal dengan baik, mendelegasikan tugas kepada bawahan dengan penuh tanggung jawab.Kata kunci: Program Kepala Sekolah dan Mutu Lulusan.

Abstract

Abstrak— Pandemi COVID-19 telah memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap kesehatan masyarakat, terutama pada kelompok lansia yang rentan terhadap penyakit dan komplikasi yang serius. Pemantauan kesehatan lansia menjadi sangat penting dalam memastikan mereka tetap aman dan mendapatkan perawatan yang diperlukan. Namun, dalam situasi pandemi ini, di mana interaksi fisik harus dibatasi, diperlukan solusi teknologi yang efektif untuk melakukan pemantauan kesehatan lansia secara berkala. Dalam penelitian ini, kami menggunakan metode pengembangan aplikasi cepat (Rapid Application Development) untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem pemantauan kesehatan lansia yang responsif dan mudah digunakan. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan pengembangan aplikasi yang cepat dan fleksibel, yang sangat diperlukan dalam situasi darurat seperti pandemi. Sistem pemantauan kesehatan lansia yang dihasilkan melibatkan penggunaan perangkat mobile dan platform berbasis web. Lansia dapat mengunduh aplikasi mobile yang dirancang khusus untuk mereka, yang memungkinkan mereka memantau gejala kesehatan mereka sendiri, seperti suhu tubuh, tekanan darah, dan denyut nadi, serta memasukkan informasi penting seperti riwayat perjalanan dan kontak dengan orang yang terinfeksi COVID-19. Data yang dikumpulkan oleh aplikasi mobile dikirim secara real-time ke platform web, di mana petugas kesehatan atau dokter dapat memantau kondisi kesehatan lansia. Jika ada perubahan signifikan dalam data kesehatan atau kemungkinan adanya gejala COVID-19, petugas kesehatan dapat memberikan rekomendasi atau intervensi yang sesuai, seperti melakukan tes diagnostik lebih lanjut atau memberikan saran perawatan. Melalui pendekatan Rapid Application Development, kami berhasil mengembangkan sistem pemantauan kesehatan lansia yang dapat digunakan secara efektif di masa pandemi COVID-19. Sistem ini memungkinkan pemantauan kesehatan yang terus-menerus, memberikan perawatan yang lebih baik dan lebih responsif kepada lansia, serta membantu mengurangi risiko penyebaran virus.Kata kunci: Pemantauan kesehatan lansia, COVID-19, Rapid Application Development, Aplikasi mobile, Platform web.Abstract—The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on public health, especially the elderly who are vulnerable to serious illnesses and complications. Monitoring the health of the elderly is very important in ensuring they stay safe and get the care they need. However, in this pandemic situation, where physical interaction must be limited, an effective technological solution is needed to regularly monitor the health of the elderly. In this study, we used the Rapid Application Development method to design and implement a responsive and easy-to-use elderly health monitoring system. This approach allows for fast and flexible application development, which is indispensable in emergency situations such as a pandemic. The resulting elderly health monitoring system involves the use of mobile devices and web-based platforms. Seniors can download a mobile application specially designed for them, which allows them to monitor their own health symptoms, such as body temperature, blood pressure and pulse, as well as enter important information such as travel history and contact with people infected with COVID-19. The data collected by the mobile application is sent in real-time to a web platform, where health workers or doctors can monitor the health conditions of the elderly. If there is a significant change in health data or there is a possibility of symptoms of COVID-19, the health worker can provide appropriate recommendations or interventions, such as conducting further diagnostic tests or providing treatment advice. Through the Rapid Application Development approach, we have succeeded in developing an elderly health monitoring system that can be used effectively during the COVID-19 pandemic. This system enables continuous health monitoring, provides better and more responsive care to the elderly, and helps reduce the risk of spreading the virus.Keyword: Elderly health monitoring, COVID-19, Rapid Application Development, Mobile applications, Web platforms

Abstract

Kesiapsiagaan ini diperlukan untuk mengurangi korban jiwa akibat gempa bumi dan tsunami. Focus utama penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui kesiapsiagaan komunitas sekolah dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi dan Tsunami di SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menggambarkan atau mendeskripsikan data untuk mengukur tingkat kesiapsiagaan komunitas sekolah dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi dan tsunami.   Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi kasus di SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Populasi pada penelitian ini terbagi menjadi dua yaitu jumlah siswa dan jumlah Guru SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Dengan total siswa 367 siswa yang terbagi dalam 15 rombel. Temuan studi diketahui bahwa siswa SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam Aceh Besar yang berada pada zona merah memiliki kategori kesiapsiagaan rendah sebanyak 21 responden (56.75%) sedangkan siswa yang memiliki kesiapsiagaan sedang hanya 16 responden (43.24%). Artinya, tingkat kesiapsiagaan siswa SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam Aceh Besar secara keseluruhan dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi dan tsunami. Hasil penelitian juga ditemukan bahwa jumlah responden yang memiliki pengetahuan tinggi dengan responden yang memiliki pengetahuan rendah hampir berimbang, hanya selisih sebanyak 8.10%.Kata Kunci : Bencana Alam, Pengetahuan, dan TsunamiThis preparedness is necessary to reduce the loss of life caused by earthquakes and tsunamis. The main focus of the research was to determine the preparedness of the school community in dealing with earthquake and tsunami disasters at Baitussalam 1 Public High School, Aceh Besar District. This research uses quantitative research with descriptive analysis. This research was conducted to describe or describe data to measure the school community’s preparedness level in dealing with earthquakes and tsunamis. This type of research is a case study at Baitussalam 1 Public High School, Aceh Besar District. The population in this study was divided into two, namely the number of students and the number of teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam Aceh Besar District. With a total of 367 students divided into 15 groups. The findings of the study revealed that students of SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam Aceh Besar who were in the red zone had a low preparedness category of 21 respondents (56.75%) while students who had medium preparedness were only 16 respondents (43.24%). That is, the level of preparedness of students of SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam Aceh Besar as a whole in dealing with earthquakes and tsunamis. The results of the study also found that the number of respondents who had high knowledge and respondents who had low knowledge were almost equal, with only a difference of 8.10%.Keywords: Character education, students, digital era

Abstract

The general learning behavior has a major impact on the psychological and mental adjustment of students to learn. Therefore, this study reviews relevant studies on the factors causing changes in student learning behavior. The review used PRISMA, so several stages were carried out to filter and collect relevant information. The results of the synthesis revealed 19 broad factors influencing student learning behavior. Furthermore, these factors can be seen in more detail in four main groupings: i) Student learning behavior in the classroom; ii) Student learning behavior outside the classroom; iii) Student learning motivation; and iv) Student learning behavior results. Student learning behavior in the classroom is influenced by motivation, reflection, learning satisfaction, and learning activities. Meanwhile, student learning behavior outside the classroom is influenced by technology, independent learning abilities, learning resources, learning environment, and students’ internal conditions. The final result showed that students with a positive learning environment consistently acquire good knowledge in achieving learning objectives. There are many challenges in forming good student learning behavior. Therefore, this study benefits the education experts, counselors, teachers, parents, and the learning environment by increasing student motivation and satisfaction in learning to minimize the negative impact of changes in student learning behavior.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how social guidance is carried out to increase solidarity among employees of PT Matahari Department Store Medan who have different religions. The method used is the qualitative case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, interviewing, and documentation. Data analysis is done through data reduction, presentation, and collection. The results show that social guidance to increase solidarity among fellow PT Matahari Department Store Medan employees is conducted through recitation and consecration. Recitation is carried out for Muslim employees and consecration for non-Muslim employees, where forms of solidarity are carried out by respecting and respecting fellow religions and those of different religions, not insulting friends of different religions, helping each other, and having a sense of caring and accepting input or opinions from other employees. This social guidance can foster a healthy and harmonious work environment and bring the company to its desired target.

Abstract

The Flipped Classroom learning is designed to develop a future learning model for Special Needs Children (SNC). This article investigates students' perceptions of the impact of learning transitions on the prevention and handling of sexual violence in integrated children with disabilities using gender mainstreaming principles and teacher beliefs. This research utilizes a mixed methods approach within a concurrent design structure that combines primary research using quantitative surveys with semi-structured qualitative interviews. The delivery of sex abuse material through traditional methods such as lectures or tutorials is replaced with flipped Classroom learning through instructional videos. This study found that the transition was generally well-received by students with SNC in inclusive schools. Engaged students tended to perform well in the flipped Classroom learning environment. However, scaffolding in the form of teacher beliefs and gender mainstreaming to prepare students for the transition to flipped Classroom learning is key to promoting knowledge acquisition, performance, engagement, collaboration, and overall positive student experiences.

Abstract

Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) memiliki pengaruh besar bagi prestasi belajar siswa pada jenjang pendidikan sekolah dasar. Anak yang mendapatkan pendidikan sejak usia dini memiliki kesiapan belajar yang lebih baik, mandiri, mampu mengoptimalkan potensi yang dimiliki dan dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan prestasi belajar siswa/i berlatar belakang PAUD dan non-PAUD di SD Negeri Kajhu Kecamatan Baitussalam Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan rancangan  penelitian quasi experimental. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri Kajhu dengan total keseluruhan siswa kelas I berjumlah 61 orang terdiri dari rombel A dan B. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling, sehingga sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa/i kelas IA yang berjumlah 30 orang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar angket yang selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan uji t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata yang dicapai oleh siswa yang berlatar belakang PAUD yaitu  yaitu 71,79 sedangkan nilai rata-rata yang dicapai oleh murid yang berlatar belakang non-PAUD yaitu 62,87, dengan nilai sig 0,000 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar siswa atau siswi berlatar belakang PAUD dan non-PAUD. Kemudian siswa/i yang berlatar belakang PAUD memiliki prestasi belajar baik dibandingkan dengan siswa/i yang tidak berlatar belakang PAUD.Kata Kunci: PAUD, Optimalisasi, Prestasi Belajar, Mental, dan Mandiri BelajarEarly Childhood Education (ECE) has a significant influence on students' learning achievement at the elementary school level. Children who receive education from an early age have better learning readiness, independence, can optimize their potential, and can improve learning achievement in elementary school. This study was conducted to determine the difference in learning achievement between students with ECE background and those without an ECE background at Kajhu Public Elementary School in Baitussalam Subdistrict, Aceh Besar Regency. The research was conducted using quantitative research methods with a quasi-experimental research design. The study was carried out at Kajhu Public Elementary School with a total of 61 first-grade students comprising classes A and B. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, resulting in a sample of 30 students from class IA. The research instrument used a questionnaire sheet which was then analyzed using the t-test. The results showed that the average score achieved by students with an ECE background was 71.79, while the average score achieved by students without an ECE background was 62.87, with a significance value of 0.000, indicating a difference in learning achievement between students with ECE and non-ECE backgrounds. Furthermore, students with an ECE background showed better learning achievement compared to those without an ECE background.Keywords: ECD (Early Childhood Development), Optimization, Learning Achievement, Mental, and Self-Directed Learning

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi menjadi esensial di era abad ke-21, terutama dengan adanya digitalisasi dan globalisasi yang melimpahnya akses informasi. Literasi tidak hanya tentang kemampuan membaca dan menulis, tetapi juga melibatkan literasi digital dan pemahaman teknologi. Literasi membuka pintu untuk pendidikan yang lebih tinggi dan pengembangan pribadi yang lebih baik, serta mendukung kemampuan berpikir kritis dan analitis. Namun, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi siswa di Indonesia masih rendah, menuntut upaya peningkatan signifikan dalam program pendidikan literasi. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kemampuan literasi membaca siswa sekolah dasar di Banda Aceh. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki kekuatan dalam memahami karya sastra dan menafsirkan gagasan, namun mengalami kesulitan dalam mencari informasi, menarik kesimpulan, dan menilai konten serta penggunaan bahasa. Dengan rata-rata persentase keseluruhan sebesar 56,77%, kemampuan literasi siswa berada pada level yang rendah. Berbagai strategi diusulkan untuk meningkatkan minat baca siswa, termasuk menciptakan lingkungan membaca yang menarik, mengintegrasikan kegiatan membaca dalam kurikulum, menyediakan beragam bahan bacaan, menggunakan teknologi dan media sosial, serta mendukung peran keluarga dan komunitas. Upaya terpadu dari sekolah, keluarga, dan komunitas dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan minat baca siswa dan kemampuan literasi mereka.Kata kunci: Literasi BahasaLiteracy skills are essential in the 21st century, especially with the advent of digitization and globalization, which have led to abundant access to information. Literacy is not only about reading and writing but also involves digital literacy and understanding technology. Literacy opens doors to higher education and better personal development, as well as supports critical and analytical thinking skills. However, research findings indicate that students' literacy skills in Indonesia are still low, demanding significant efforts to improve literacy education programs. This study aims to evaluate the reading literacy skills of elementary school students in Banda Aceh. The results show that students have strengths in understanding literature and interpreting ideas but struggle with finding information, drawing conclusions, and evaluating content and language usage. With an overall average percentage of 56.77%, students' literacy skills are at a low level. Various strategies are proposed to increase students' reading interest, including creating an engaging reading environment, integrating reading activities into the curriculum, providing diverse reading materials, using technology and social media, and supporting the role of families and communities. Integrated efforts from schools, families, and communities can significantly enhance students' reading interest and literacy skills.Keywords: Language Literacy

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease (Covid 19) yang terjangkit akhir tahun 2019 menyebabkan system pembelajaran di Indonesia mengalami perubahan dari pembelajaran tatap muka ke daring. Paska pandemic covid 19, sistem pembelajaran kembali mengalami perubahan dari pembelajaran daring menjadi pembelajaran tatap muka. Hal ini menimbulkan dampak baik positif maupun negatif terhadap proses pembelajaran siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui factor-faktor kesulitan belajar siswa sekolah dasar paska pandemic covid 19 di SDN Jelobok Kabupaten Bener Meriah ditinjau dari factor internal dan eksternalPenelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jumlah populasi 207 siswa dengan sampel sebanyak 103 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling.Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dalam bentuk angket. Untuk mengetahui proporsi dan distribusi frekuensi data dianalisa menggunakan rumus persentasi dan untuk mengetahui factor kesulitan belajar siswa data dianalisa menggunakan medianHasil penelitian sebagai berikut: Siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar internal ditinjau dari faktor fisiologis sebanyak 59,8%, psikologis 52,4%, intelegensi 60,82%. Sedangkan siswa yang mengalami kesulitan ekternal ditinjau dari lingkungan keluarga 85,44%, sekolah 36,14%, dan masyarakat 73,54%. Kata Kunci : Kesulitan, belajar, siswa, paska pandemic The Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19), which emerged towards the end of 2019, led to a change in the education system in Indonesia, shifting from face-to-face learning to online learning. Post the Covid-19 pandemic, the education system underwent another transition from online learning back to face-to-face learning. This has resulted in both positive and negative impacts on the students' learning process. This research aims to identify the factors contributing to learning difficulties among elementary school students after the Covid-19 pandemic in SDN Jelobok, Bener Meriah District, considering both internal and external factors. This study is descriptive in nature with a quantitative approach. The total population consists of 207 students, with a sample of 103 students. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire in the form of a survey. To determine the proportion and distribution frequency of data, percentage formulas were used, and for analyzing the factors of students' learning difficulties, the median was used. The research results are as follows: Students facing internal learning difficulties in terms of physiological factors amounted to 59.8%, psychological factors to 52.4%, and intelligence to 60.82%. On the other hand, students facing external difficulties, considering the family environment, amounted to 85.44%, school environment to 36.14%, and community to 73.54%. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis: (1) pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap motivasi kerja guru, dan (2) pengaruh perilaku inovatif terhadap motivasi kerja guru. Subyek penelitian adalah guru Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri Kota Banda Aceh dengan jumlah sampel 251 orang yang diambil dengan cara stratified proportional random sampling, data dianalisis menggunakan analisis jalur setelah menghitung korelasi semua variabel penelitian berupa matriks. Hasil analisis pengaruh variabel eksogen terhadap variabel endogen pada masing-masing substruktur diperoleh (1) Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi kerja guru sebesar 0,524 (2) Perilaku inovatif berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi kerja guru sebesar 0,309. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh langsung positif lingkungan kerja terhadap motivasi kerja guru sebesar 22,9  %, dan (2) terdapat pengaruh langsung positif perilaku inovatif terhadap motivasi kerja guru sebesar 17,6%.Kata Kunci: Lingkungan Kerja, Perilaku Inovatif and Motivasi KerjaThe aim of this research is to determine and analyze: (1) the influence of the work environment on teacher work motivation, and (2) the influence of innovative behavior on teacher work motivation. The research subjects were Banda Aceh City State High School teachers with a sample size of 251 people taken using stratified proportional random sampling. The data were analyzed using path analysis after calculating the correlation of all research variables in the form of a matrix. The results of the analysis of the influence of exogenous variables on endogenous variables in each substructure showed that (1) The work environment had a positive effect on teacher work motivation of 0.524 (2) Innovative behavior had a positive effect on teacher work motivation of 0.309. The research results illustrate that (1) there is a positive direct influence of the work environment on teacher work motivation of 22.9%, and (2) there is a positive direct influence of innovative behavior on teacher work motivation of 17.6%.Keywords: Work Environment, Innovative Behavior and Work MotivationÂ
