Abstract

This research was conducted on Pramuka Island, Panggang Island Village, North Thousans Island District, Thousans Island Administrative Regency, Daerah Khusus Jakarta Province. The implementation began in February 2024 and continued until March 2024. The purpose of this research aims to formulate strategies for developing dive tourism on Pramuka Island. The method used in this study is a case study on dive tourism in Pramuka Island, gathering both primary and secondary data. The sampling method employed is purposive sampling. Data analysis was performed using SWOT Analysis processed with Microsoft Excel. Based on the conducted research, the best strategy for developing dive tourism on Pramuka Island using SWOT Analysis is in quadrant I, which involves implementing an SO strategy or aggressive growth strategy with the coordinate points 0.33; 0.21, meaning leveraging strengths to capitalize on existing opportunities.

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the optimum content of the addition of curcuma flour with different doses to the feed on the growth of gourami fry (Osphronemus gouramy). The method used in this study was a completely randomized design (CRD) experimental method, which consisted of 5 treatments with 3 replications. The treatment used was treatment (A) without giving curcuma flour (control), (B) giving curcuma flour at 2.5%/kg feed, (C) giving curcuma flour at 5%/kg feed, (D) giving curcuma flour ginger at 7.5%/kg feed, (E) giving curcuma flour at 10%/kg feed. The results of analysis of variance (Anova) showed that the addition of the flour at different doses had a significant effect (P<0.05) on the growth of gouramy fish fry. The results showed that the addition of curcuma flour at 7.5%/kg of feed gave the best results with the highest absolute weight growth of 15.11 ± 0,42 g, the highest absolute length growth of 3.92 ± 0,42 cm, the feed conversion ratio of 1.95 ± 0.11, and survival of 100%. Keywords: Gouramy fish, curcuma flour, growth, feed.

Abstract

Nile tilapia is one of Indonesia's leading aquaculture commodities, with strong potential for development to support food security and improve community welfare. This study aimed to analyze the effect of different stocking densities and to determine the optimal density that supports the survival and growth of Nile tilapia juveniles reared in the Budikdamber system. The research method used was an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), consisting of five treatments and three replications. The treatments were as follows: (A) stocking density of 15 fish/70 L (control), (B) 20 fish/70 L, (C) 25 fish/70 L, (D) 30 fish/70 L, and (E) 35 fish/70 L, maintained for 40 days with a feeding rate of 3% of the total biomass. Probiotics were applied at a dose of 0.8 ml/L through the culture water to maintain good water quality. The results showed that treatment B (20 fish/70 L) produced the best outcomes in terms of growth and survival, with an average absolute length gain of 2.03 ± 0.26 cm, absolute weight gain of 8.52 ± 1.11 g, a positive allometric length-weight relationship, a survival rate of 91.7%, a specific growth rate of 1.68 ± 0.17%, a feed conversion ratio of 1.59 ± 0.24, and water quality parameters within the acceptable range based on the Indonesian National Standard (SNI).
