This study was quasi experiment with pretest-posttest control group design. Temper tantrums rating scale used as data collecting tool. Fifty children were pointed as the sample, which consisted 25 children for control group and 25 children as experimental group. The purposive sampling technique used as sampling technique. Cooperative play carried out regularly for ten sessions during two weeks. Mann Whitney U- Test used as statistical data analysis. Abstract

Acute respiratory infections (ARI) are still a major health problem in Indonesia and even in the world. It causes of mortality and morbidity of many people in developing countries. AR has the potential to provide contextual education in media and can help explore interconnections in information in cyberspace, people, especially children and parents can use AR to build new understandings based on their interactions with virtual objects. The research method used in this research is pre-experimental design. The type of research design that is expected to prove the effect of P-AR on ARI with the design of educational media. The method involves a group of mothers who have children with ARI taken by consecutive sampling in the community when the posyandu is run. The total participants in this study were 107 participants, with an age range of 21 - 40 years. there was a decrease in maternal stress levels as much as stress (SD± 19.25 - 9.644) and improvement in maternal resilience after the application of PAR with (SD± 5.35 - 8.38). Based on the results of research, shown that mothers who have children with respiratory infections to receive health care in hospitals can make mothers experience depression and anxiety. In addition, children also feel anxious about the presence of disease. So we need a coping strategy and information that can help in problem solving. AR can be used to improve emotional health in children.

Abstract

Fever is the most common problem in children Giving antipyretics to treat fever gives a topical reaction and causes discomfort in children when they have a fever. Tepid sponge as a method of reducing temperature by administering water to the surface of the patient's skin to control body temperature based on the principles of evaporation and conduction of body temperature can cause comfort in children. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of tepid sponge on decreasing body temperature in pediatric patients with ARI, diarrhea and seizures. The research design was a two group pretest-post-test design (tepid sponge) as the treatment given to the patients under five with ARI, diarrhea and febrile seizures in the inpatient room of RSD dr. Soebandi Jember and RSD dr. Abdoer Rahem Situbondo. 60 participants were involved as the sample of the study selected through purposive sampling. The results were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank test with a significance level was set at α = 0.05. Tepid Sponge is effective for reducing body temperature in children. Nurses, families and parents can safely apply the Tepid Sponge as a hyperthermia management solution for pediatric patients.
