Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh waktu pemangkasan daun terhadap kualitas produksi benih tanaman kacang panjang (Vigna unguiculata Ssp.). Cara budidaya kacang panjang biasanya hanya dalam skala lingkup kecil seperti di tegalan yang belum sesuai dengan standar operasional prosedur. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktor tunggal dengan 4 taraf perlakuan. Dalam rancangan ini, petakan percobaan dibagi menjadi beberapa kelompok, masing-masing kelompok dibagi lagi menjadi beberapa petak yang banyaknya sama dengan jumlah perlakuan. Pada penelitian ini data yang diperoleh meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah bunga, jumlah polong, panjang polong, berat basah polong, berat kering polong, rendemen benih, uji berat 1000 butir, uji kadar air, dan uji daya berkecambah. Pemangkasan daun pada parameter panjang polong dengan perlakuan pemangkasan daun 4 MST memiliki pengaruh nyata setelah dilakukan pengujian terhadap fase generatif tanaman kacang panjang. Namun tidak berpengaruh nyata pada parameter jumlah bunga dan jumlah polong karena disebabkan tingginya curah hujan saat penelitian dilakukan. Pemangkasan daun berpengaruh nyata terhadap kualitas produksi benih kacang panjang pada parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang polong, rendemen benih, berat basah dan berat kering.

Abstract

Tanaman murbei khususnya Morus alba (L) memiliki prospek yang bagus: berbuah sepanjang tahun, menjadi pakan ulat sutra dan juga obat. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis dan lama perendaman ZPT alami terhadap pertumbuhan stek tanaman murbei. Penelitian dilakukan dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Faktor pertama adalah jenis ZPT alami (V) 3 taraf yaitu bawang merah, air kelapa muda, dan lidah buaya dan faktor kedua adalah lama perendaman (Z) 3 taraf: 1 jam, 2 jam, dan 3 jam. Data dianalisis dengan Anova 5% dan 1%, jika ada pengaruh maka dilakukan uji beda DMRT 5%. Data diambil setelah stek diaklimatisasi dan berdaun minimal 8 helai. Hasil penelitian menunjukan stek tanaman murbei berbeda secara signifikan pada perlakuan jenis ZPT air kelapa muda dan lama perendaman 1 jam yang berpengaruh secara signifikan pada panjang tunas, jumlah akar, dan jumlah daun, Sedangkan terhadap panjang akar, daya tumbuh, serta bibit normal dan abnormal tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Jenis ZPT alami (V) air kelapa muda adalah jenis ZPT alami terbaik, karena berpengaruh signifikan pada panjang tunas, jumlah akar, jumlah daun, panjang akar, serta bibit normal dan abnormal, sedangkan terhadap daya tumbuh tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Lama perendaman (Z) 1 jam yang terbaik, sedangkan terhadap daya tumbuh tidak berpengaruh signifikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penggunaan pupuk organik cair (POC) dan asam humat pada budidaya kedelai. Pupuk organik cair yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan bahan air leri (air cucian beras), urine kelinci, air kelapa dan rendaman kotoran kambing yang difermentasi. penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian (BPP) Galur, Kulon Progo dengan 15 ulangan x 3 perlakuan (kontrol; POC dan asam humat) x 2 lokasi (lahan Karang Sewu dan lahan Pandowan) dengan menggunakan varietas Grobogan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aplikasi asam humat dan POC akan meningkatkan produktivitas kedelai secara signifikan.

Abstract

One of the commodities that needs to be considered in Galur Subdistrict, KulonProgo Regency, DIY is soybean, because it experiences a productivity reduction. Soybean productivity decline is a reality of the inability of farmers to produce soybeans with existing planting areas. One of the technologies to overcome the national demand deficit for domestic soybean yields is fertilization with KNO3 fertilizer. This research was carried out at five FFS locations in May - August 2018 and the variety used was Grobogan variety. KNO3 fertilizer is applied by spraying it as a leaf fertilizer. The analysis showed that the KNO3 fertilization treatment showed more varied and higher productivity results compared to controls. The results of KNO3 fertilization also show varied results for different locations. From a financial point of view, the KNO3 fertilization treatment shows more favourable results than those without treatment.

Abstract

The Legin (Leguminosae inoculum) application is a technology by mixing Rhizobium inoculants with soybean seeds at the time of planting. The goal is when the existing soybean seeds of the surrounding Rhizobium japanicum bacteria will be symbiotic with the soybean roots. The Rhizobium japanicum bacteria can be isolated from effective symbiotic soybean root nodules, then cultured and can be used as inoculants mixed with peat soil. While cutting shoots done by breaking the apical dominance so that pruning effect on plant growth with the aim of encouraging plants to branch off much and produce new shoots, so as to obtain maximum results. This study examines the application of legin and shoot cutting technology on soybean cultivation. Soybean varieties used are varieties of anjasmara. The results of this study indicate that the application of legin and shoot can increase the production of 1.74 tons / ha.

Abstract

Agricultural mechanization has emerged as a cornerstone of modernizing the agricultural sector in Indonesia, playing a pivotal role in enhancing productivity and efficiency. The growing population and the necessity for increased agricultural output have driven the adoption of mechanization to overcome challenges such as labor shortages and the adverse effects of climate anomalies. The introduction of agricultural equipment follows a selective principle by considering the local area's socioeconomic conditions. Future agricultural mechanization utilizes technologies based on weather analysis, soil sensor information, and satellite and drone imaging that can increase agricultural productivity. Precision agriculture innovation to improve the accuracy of farm business management is carried out by utilizing sensor systems, drones, remote sensing, digital technology, and the Internet of Things (IoT) to collect, process, and present data that smart farming systems will use. Integrated information system innovations for the supply chain are designed to bridge farmers, distributors, markets, and end buyers by utilizing mobile applications. The traditional to modern transition process and the implementation of smart digital farming require mentoring and field learning in the agricultural process from upstream to downstream. This review provides a comprehensive overview of the development, challenges, opportunities, and prospects of agricultural mechanization in Indonesia, offering insights into how these efforts can support the country's economic growth and food security. Materials were prepared from various sources, including development planning documentation program reports, evaluation, and critical analysis of different research results.

Abstract

Pengeringan yang tidak optimal disebabkan oleh penanganan pascapanen yang kurang tepat dan cuaca yang tidak stabil dapat menurunkan mutu benih. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama waktu pengeringan calon benih jagung menggunakan rumah pengering dengan efek rumah kaca terhadap mutu fisiologis benih. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktor tunggal dengan taraf lama waktu pengeringan, yaitu 8 jam (W1), 16 jam (W2), 24 jam (W3), dan 32 jam (W4). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengeringan selama 32 jam (W4) memberikan hasil terbaik dengan kadar air 11.3%, kecepatan tumbuh 24.97%/etmal, daya kecambah 95.90%, indeks vigor 85,50%, susut bobot pengeringan 11.70%, dan laju pengeringan 0.3594%/jam. Secara umum, semakin lama pengeringan menurunkan kadar air dan meningkatkan kecepatan tumbuh, daya kecambah, serta indeks vigor benih. Penggunaan rumah pengering berbasis efek rumah kaca dinilai efektif untuk meningkatkan mutu fisiologis benih jagung. Namun pemeliharaan dan pengaturan komponen rumah pengering sangat penting diperhatikan agar proses pengeringan berjalan optimal

Abstract

Agriculture is an inseparable part of agrarian culture; however, current agricultural modernization risks eroding local traditional practices due to its focus on efficiency, productivity, and economic gain. This study aims to analyze the relationship between farmer group dynamics and the existence of the Wiwitan tradition in Sindumartani Village, Ngemplak District, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Using a quantitative approach, research was conducted on 35 respondents from two farmer groups with distinct characteristics: the Tani Rukun group, which still preserves the tradition, and the Ngudi Mulyo 1 group, which no longer practices it. Data were collected using likert scale questionnaires and analyzed through correlation tests. The results indicate that the group development and maintenance variables have a very strong positive correlation (r = 0,722; Sig = 0,000) with the existence of the tradition. Furthermore, group goals and group cohesiveness variables show a significant positive correlation at a moderate level (r = 0,448  and 0,450, respectively). Conversely, group structure, task functions, and group effectiveness do not show statistically significant relationships. This study concludes that farmer group dynamics, particularly in the aspects of development and cohesiveness, play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of the wiwitan tradition amidst the currents of modernization.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify internal and external factors and to formulate after-sales service-based marketing strategies for Pepaya Arum seeds at PT Tunas Agro Persada in Central Java. The research was conducted from November 2025 to February 2026 using a quantitative descriptive approach with purposive sampling involving 13 informants. Data were collected through structured interviews and observations and analyzed using SWOT and the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The results showed total strength and weakness scores of 1.82 and 1.08, respectively, as well as opportunity and threat scores of 1.79 and 1.07. The Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) score difference was 0.74, while the External Factor Evaluation (EFE) score difference was 0.72, indicating that the company is positioned in Quadrant I. The SWOT analysis generated 18 alternative strategies. Based on the QSPM analysis, the priority strategies were strengthening farmer group-based contract systems through integrated planting and harvesting schedules, supported by digital marketing (WO2), strengthening contract systems and price risk management (WT1), and utilizing marketing networks and partnership flexibility to expand market access (SO6).

Abstract

The study was conducted to determine the maximum delay of the proper drying time so that it does not affect the quality of rice seeds (Oryza sativa L. ) and can pass the quality testing of seed certification. This experiment used a Complete Randomized Design (CRD) using ten treatments and three replays; there were 30 experimental units. The results of the study were analyzed using ANOVA. Observations were made on the variables of moisture content before storage (%), moisture content after storage (%), germination (%), maximum growth potential (%), growing forging (%), plant height (cm), and numerous saplings. The results of the study showed no influence of the treatment of delayed drying time on the quality of rice seeds of the Inpari 42 variety. However, the moisture content increases with the long delay in drying time, germination power, maximum growing potential, and forging growth progressively decrease as the delay of drying time increases. The best results are obtained on the H0 treatment: the prospective seeds are immediately dried in the sun without storage after harvesting. The maximum drying time delay so that it can pass the seed quality test is six days after harvest. The delay in drying time does not affect the growth of the vegetative phase on the parameters of plant height and the number of saplings of 50 HSS.
