Abstract

Marketing strategies can be designed to reach a wider audience by utilizing various communication platforms, such as online promotions and content marketing. The unique content approach used by Rucas, namely highlighting unconventional advertising models, has succeeded in getting a positive response from users of social media platforms. This study analyzes how the success of the Rucas brand is influenced by the appeal of supporters perceived by social media users, which can then influence Purchase Intention with Attitudes toward advertising and the brand as mediating variables. This study involved a population of all individuals who knew about Rucas brand advertisements on social media, with a sample size of 225 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires via social media platforms. The hypothesis in this study will be tested using a causal approach and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).The results showed that the appeal of supporters had a significant effect on Attitudes towards advertising and brands, which influenced Purchase Intention. However, supporters' appeal did not positively Impact Purchase Intention unless mediated by the Attitude variable. This study provides important implications for marketing strategies, especially in choosing the right Endorser to increase Purchase Intention

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara konseptual dan aplikatif isu-isu utama dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia berdasarkan uraian tematik dalam buku Kapita Selekta Bahasa Indonesia karya Resmini dan Hartati. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif berbasis kajian pustaka untuk menganalisis kedudukan, fungsi, dan tantangan strategis Bahasa Indonesia dalam konteks pendidikan nasional dan perkembangan era literasi digital. Fokus analisis diarahkan pada ranah linguistik, keterampilan berbahasa (menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis), serta integrasi nilai budaya dan karakter dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia memiliki peran multidimensional sebagai sarana komunikasi ilmiah, ekspresi budaya, dan pembentukan jati diri bangsa. Namun demikian, pelaksanaannya masih menghadapi tantangan seperti dominasi pendekatan struktural-gramatikal, rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik, dan minimnya inovasi dalam penggunaan media literasi multimodal. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pembaruan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih komunikatif, kontekstual, dan reflektif agar Bahasa Indonesia tidak hanya dipahami sebagai alat komunikasi, tetapi juga sebagai wahana peradaban dan transformasi sosial dalam pembelajaran abad ke-21.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the prospect of halal tourism that must be developed in order to capture opportunities in West Kalimantan. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection tools by conducting interviews, observations, and documentation by analysis using NVivo 12 Plus. The prospect of halal tourism in West Kalimantan Province is seen from the development of four aspects of development, namely: destinations, marketing, industry, and institutions. The high prospect of halal tourism in West Kalimantan which is so promising, of course, must be the main focus of development as well. Several aspects of the direction of development such as Destinations, Marketing, Industry, and Institutions need to be studied immediately, namely the inclusion of a clearer plan into the Regional Tourism Master Plan (RIPDA) which of course in this case also has an impact on funding, facilities, certification so that halal tourism in West Kalimantan can be realized maximally and develop rapidly. So that in turn it can increase income for the region in order to develop regional development more broadly and evenly to realize the welfare of the community, especially in West Kalimantan Province.

Abstract

The study explores the development of language skills and assessment methods in Indonesian elementary education. Language skills are foundational for academic and social success, yet significant gaps remain in meeting basic competency standards. This research aims to evaluate the impact of language skills on students' academic achievements and to advocate innovative assessment techniques for improving educational outcomes. A literature review approach was adopted, drawing data from books, national and international articles, and other relevant sources. The study focused on analyzing the role of language skills and the effectiveness of various assessment forms, such as formative and summative evaluations, and performance-based assessments. The findings highlight significant deficiencies in students’ language skills, with only 60% meeting competency standards. Conventional evaluation methods, predominantly written tests focused on cognitive levels C1 and C2, fail to address students' comprehensive needs. Innovative approaches, such as formative assessments, dynamic evaluations, and performance-based assessments, show potential for holistic skill development. The study also underscores the importance of teacher training in adopting these advanced assessment methods. Performance-based assessments allow students to demonstrate language skills in practical contexts, fostering real-world applicability. Dynamic evaluations emphasize interactive processes, offering scaffolding support to enhance learning. However, implementing these methods requires overcoming barriers such as limited teacher expertise and traditional mindsets in educational institutions. Enhancing evaluation methods and teacher training can significantly improve language skills among elementary students, leading to better academic and social outcomes. By integrating innovative assessment techniques, this study provides a roadmap for bridging competency gaps and achieving meaningful educational progress in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study explores how Generation Z navigates reading practices in the digital era, particularly within the context of infinite scroll architecture and the attention economy. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, non-participatory observation, and content analysis involving 28 university students aged 18–23. Thematic analysis revealed five key findings: (1) information overload and the illusion of novelty lead to a preference for speed over depth; (2) skimming serves as an efficient survival strategy but results in superficial understanding; (3) despite the dominance of fast content, participants still long for deep reading experiences; (4) visual cues, such as emojis and memes, influence engagement and credibility judgments; (5) hybrid literacy strategies emerge as a way to balance quick consumption with in-depth analysis. The study highlights the adaptive strategies that Generation Z uses to manage the tension between fast, fragmented content and the desire for sustained engagement. The implications of these findings suggest that educators should promote hybrid literacy approaches in the curriculum, encouraging students to combine fast and slow reading practices. For platform designers, incorporating features that facilitate both quick access to information and opportunities for deeper engagement could improve the quality of digital reading experiences.

Abstract

Program Kuliah Kerja Mahasiswa – Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (KKM–PKM) “Gift Capingku” dilaksanakan di Kampung Caping, Pontianak Tenggara, dengan tujuan utama mengatasi tantangan pemasaran produk lokal akibat keterbatasan inovasi dan promosi digital. Permasalahan yang diidentifikasi mencakup bentuk dan tampilan produk caping yang masih konvensional, minimnya pemanfaatan teknologi digital, media promosi visual yang belum representatif, kurangnya pengalaman penjualan langsung, serta rendahnya kesadaran akan nilai kemasan. Program ini berfokus pada pengembangan ekonomi kreatif lokal melalui inovasi hampers, peningkatan kapasitas promosi digital, penumbuhan kesadaran adaptasi digital dalam usaha, serta penguatan kolaborasi usaha kreatif. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui penciptaan langsung inovasi produk, penyusunan strategi promosi digital, serta implementasi promosi melalui media sosial dan uji pasar. Solusi yang diimplementasikan mencakup transformasi produk lokal menjadi enam varian hampers baru, produksi konten digital promosi yang estetik, pengelolaan akun media sosial (Instagram), pembuatan poster dan katalog digital, serta launching produk dan uji pasar di Car Free Day. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan terciptanya hampers inovatif “Gift Capingku”, katalog digital, akun media sosial aktif, serta peningkatan kapasitas masyarakat dalam mengelola usaha kerajinan lokal secara berkelanjutan dan adaptif terhadap pasar.

Abstract

Program Kuliah Kerja Mahasiswa (KKM) di Panti Asuhan Kasih Abadi difokuskan pada penggalangan dana untuk memperbaiki kondisi fisik dan kesejahteraan anak-anak panti. Berdasarkan survei awal, ditemukan permasalahan serius seperti atap bocor, dinding kusam, serta kekurangan bahan pangan. Tim KKM melaksanakan program selama 24 hari (7–31 Juli) dengan strategi penggalangan dana yang mencakup penjualan basreng dan puding, kampanye media sosial, serta distribusi proposal kepada perusahaan (CSR) dan donatur individu. Penjualan makanan dilakukan secara offline di area taman Auditorium Universitas Tanjungpura. Total dana terkumpul mencapai Rp 4.281.600,00 dan digunakan untuk memperbaiki atap, mengecat ulang dinding, serta menyediakan kebutuhan sembako. Program ini menunjukkan bahwa kampanye dengan kombinasi penjualan langsung dan crowdfunding sangat efektif dalam mendukung kegiatan sosial.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of perceived benefits, gamification, and online persuasion on repurchase intention, with consumer attitude serving as a mediating variable. A quantitative survey approach was employed by collecting data from 294 respondents who had prior experience purchasing from digital-based coffee shop services. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results reveal that perceived benefits, gamification, and online persuasion have positive and significant effects on both consumer attitude and repurchase intention. Furthermore, consumer attitude significantly mediates the relationship between these three variables and repurchase intention, indicating that consumers’ evaluative responses play a crucial role in translating digital marketing stimuli into repeat purchase behavior. These findings highlight the importance of enhancing interactive digital features, emphasizing both functional and emotional value, and developing culturally relevant online communication strategies. Such strategies can strengthen consumer attitudes, improve engagement with digital platforms, and ultimately encourage stronger repurchase intention among consumers in increasingly competitive digital service environments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of TikTok app usage on the politeness of upper-grade elementary school students. The study employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory design using an ex post facto method. The study population was all 66 fourth and fifth-grade students at Cipelang Gede Elementary School. The sampling technique used total sampling, ensuring that the entire population served as respondents. Data collection was conducted using a Likert-scale questionnaire measuring two main variables: TikTok usage and politeness. Data analysis was conducted through descriptive statistics, prerequisite analysis tests, including normality and linearity tests, and hypothesis testing using Pearson correlation and simple linear regression using SPSS version 16 software. The results showed that students' levels of TikTok usage and politeness were moderate. However, the regression test showed that TikTok use had no significant effect on students' politeness (R = 0.113; R² = 0.013; p = 0.367). These findings suggest that social media exposure does not directly determine students' communication behavior. Other factors such as character education, school culture, and parental supervision likely play a more dominant role in shaping students' politeness.
