Abstract

Digital transformation has become a core component of modern business strategy, positioning information technology (IT) projects as key drivers of organizational innovation and efficiency. However, the success of digital strategies is highly dependent on an organization’s ability to manage project scope with discipline. One of the most persistent challenges is scope creep—the uncontrolled expansion of project scope without formal approval—which can disrupt timelines, overburden teams, and diminish both the quality and strategic relevance of project outcomes. This study aims to identify the root causes of scope creep, examine its impact on the implementation of internal digital projects, and propose adaptive and structured control strategies. The research was conducted at PT Klik Sinergi Solusi (KSS) using a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with six project stakeholders across different roles, direct observation, and project documentation analysis, including backlog records, meeting notes, and scope change archives. The findings reveal that scope creep at KSS is driven by a combination of weak scope planning structures, the absence of effective change control mechanisms, inconsistent and undocumented communication, and an overly accommodating organizational culture toward user requests. As a result, projects suffer from delays, wasted effort, reduced output quality, and misalignment with the company’s digital strategy. The study also formulates six scope control strategies, including stronger scope baselines, regular validation forums, optimized use of project tools, and the development of a data-driven, assertive project culture. This research contributes to the theoretical discourse on digital project management and offers practical recommendations for designing scope control mechanisms that support the success of digital transformation initiatives.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become an imperative strategy in addressing the increasingly dynamic issues of the property business. This study endeavours to investigate the role of digital transformation as a mediator among the organizational factors (digital culture, technological infrastructure, digital leadership, digital skills) and digital disruption and their impacts on work unit performance, in a case study at PT. PP Properti Tbk. With a quantitative method and SEM-PLS analysis among 104 participants, all independent variables are found to have a significant effect on digital transformation, but only certain ones directly impact work unit performance. Digital culture, technological infrastructure, and digital skills directly and significantly affect performance, whereas digital leadership and digital disruption indirectly affect it through digital transformation. This study recommends the incorporation of digital leadership, disruption management, optimal infrastructure, and digital skills optimization as ways to maximize unit performance through digital transformation.

Abstract

Purpose: This abstract provides a brief overview of a review article that explores the scenario planning approach and future strategies for the implementation of Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) services by PT. Telkomsel. This study aimed to analyze the limitations and contributions of scenario planning in shaping future strategies for FMC service implementation. Research methodology: This study uses a scenario planning method that aims to identify the driving forces for the future of the telecommunications industry in Indonesia in 2030 and then formulates a scenario for the future of telecommunications services in Indonesia. These scenarios are used as the basis for recommendations for PT. Telkomsel's business strategy for implementing FMC services, which is carried out through a qualitative approach. Results: The research results found that, in the future, network coverage and technology will no longer be a competitive advantage for telecommunications companies in Indonesia. The research results show four possible future scenarios for the telecommunications industry in Indonesia: New Glory, Win Back Domination, Digital Colonialism, and Business as Usual. Conclusion: PT. Telkomsel must always invest in additional infrastructure to meet customer bandwidth needs. The implementation of FMC services is crucial to increase the company's competitive advantage, but it requires careful anticipation of volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) conditions to minimize future business risks. Scenario planning becomes necessary to develop an adaptive and resilient corporate strategy. Limitation: This study is limited to scenario planning analysis based on qualitative data and focuses on Indonesia's telecommunications industry context toward 2030. Contribution: The study contributes to providing strategic insights and future-oriented recommendations for PT. Telkomsel to optimize FMC service implementation under potential industry changes.

Abstract

Telemedicine in Indonesia has experienced significant growth since its introduction in 2014. The financing system is regulated independently by each platform, leading to disparities in teleconsultation fees and medical incentives. This qualitative study, which involved a literature review and interviews with 33 participants, offered a health economics perspective on the implementation of telemedicine. The recommended teleconsultation fee ranges from USD 0.05 to USD 2.54, with medical incentives set at USD 1,59-3.18 for general practitioners and USD 4.77-6.36 for specialists, using telephone or video calls as the preferred means of teleconsultation. Although most patients and Indonesian Medical Association administrators generally agreed with these recommendations, platform managers expressed reservations, particularly regarding the fees for specialists. Video calls were widely accepted as the preferred medium for teleconsultations. This study concludes that the maximum recommended teleconsultation fee is USD 2.54, with minimum medical incentives of USD 1.59 for general practitioners and USD 4.77 for specialists, and that the teleconsultation medium for making a diagnosis on the telemedicine platform is chat, with a mandatory feature allowing optional use of video calls, which can be used according to the mutual agreement and adjustment of teleconsultation fees.

Abstract

Desa Cibodas Kecamatan Pasirjambu terletak di Kabupaten Bandung Jawa Barat memiliki potensi alam yang dapat dikembangkan menjadi desa wisata termasuk camping ground, paralayang, off-road, agrowisata, event budaya, dan wisata alam lainnya. Namun potensi ini belum optimal dapat ditawarkan kepada calon pengunjung karena keterbatasan kemampuan dan sumberdaya. Oleh karena itu, dalam artikel ini bertujuan mengkaji dan menganalisa potensi, hambatan dan strategi yang dapat dilakukan oleh Desa Cibodas. Artikel ini menggunakan metode Analisa deskriptif dengan langkah-langkap pengambilan data berasal dari focus group discussion (FGD) serta pemberian pelatihan sesuai dengan kebutuhan Masyarakat Desa Cibodas. Hasil dari Analisa deskriptif diketahui bahwa beberapa strategi yang dapat dilakukan oleh Desa Cibodas yaitu (1) mengetahui potensi wisata yang dapat menjadi daya Tarik; (2) Memiliki daya dukung dari berbagai pihak termasuk pemerintah, Masyarakat, dan pihak swasta; (3) Memiliki infrastruktur pendukung atau amenitas wisata termasuk lahan parkir, toilet, tempat souvenir, tempat makan; (4) Memiliki kemampuan untuk mempromosikan potensi desa melalui pemasaran digital; (5) Kesadaran Masyarakat untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan yang dapat meningkatkan jumlah kunjungan; (6) Memiliki kemampuan untuk menjaga kelestarian lingkungan desa yang diciptakan oleh seluruh pihak baik Masyarakat, pemerintah, maupun pengunjung.

Abstract

This study investigates the Orya Jayapura Hydroelectric Power Plant in Indonesia. The plant suffers from high machine downtime, resulting in low production and profits. Analyze the plant's efficiency using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method. OEE considers availability, performance, and quality metrics. A mixed method combining a case study with quantitative data analysis (OEE formula) and a qualitative approach (cause-and-effect diagrams) to prioritize improvement recommendations. The average OEE for 2019-2022 was only 32.76%, indicating significant equipment inefficiency and low profits. High equipment failure losses were identified as the main culprit. The study confirms a correlation between technical efficiency and financial performance: higher availability leads to higher profits. The plant needs to improve its overall quality in terms of people, machinery, materials, and methods. This includes staffing with qualified personnel, providing employee training, enhancing equipment maintenance, and implementing strategies for asset optimization and innovation.

Abstract

Indonesia generated approximately 1.9 million tons of electronic waste (e-waste) in 2021, growing at an annual rate of 39%. By 2030, e-waste generation is projected to reach 4.4 million tons. A study by the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) revealed that only 17.4% of e-waste was recycled in 2021, highlighting the inefficiency of Indonesia's current e-waste management system. Smartphones are the most frequently disposed of e-waste, with an average lifespan of 3.42 years—shorter than most electronic devices. By 2028, over 40 million discarded smartphones are expected to significantly contribute to e-waste. To address this, the Indonesian government introduced a circular economy roadmap through Regulation No. 75 of 2019, mandating Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR). However, its implementation has been suboptimal, hindered by limited collaboration among stakeholders. Effective smartphone waste management requires awareness, clear procedures, secure data handling, and practices that maximize economic value. This study involves key stakeholders—consumers, producers, waste managers, and government representatives—to co-design solutions using a design thinking approach. The research delivers a smartphone waste management prototype, comprising a service blueprint and a high-fidelity platform, to support value exchange and improve EPR implementation in the smartphone industry.

Abstract

Salah satu yang masih berpeluang untuk bertahan di masa sulit seperti pandemic Covid-19 saat ini adalah bidangkuliner,kuliner yang menjamur saat ini adalah kue balok yang dijadikan sebagai oleh-oleh khas Bandung.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kreatifitas terhadap daya saing usaha bisnis imara. Penelitianini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik penentuan sampel menggunakanmetode teknik sampling jenuh diambil dari seluruh gerai imara yang berjumlah 30 gerai. Survey dalam penelitianini dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebar kepada reseller kue balok Imara dengan Google Form. Teknikanalisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dan uji asumsi klasik meliputi uji normalitas,ujiheteroskedastisitas dan uji autokorelasi. Analisis statistik yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi linier sederhanaserta menggunakan uji f,uji t dan koefisien determinasi untuk menguji hipotesis-hipotesis pada penelitian ini. Darikeseluruhan hasil analisis deskriptif, skor penilaian yang diperoleh termasuk ke dalam kategori mampu, hal inimembuktikan bahwa pengaruh kreatifitas terhadap daya saing bisnis imara tergolong baik. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa hipotesis diterima, kreatifitas memiliki pengaruh dan signifikan terhadap daya saing bisnisimara. Besarnya pengaruh kreatifitas terhadap daya saing yaitu 50,1%b erarti variabel kreatifitas sudahmemberikan 50,1% informasi yang diperlukan untuk memprediksi variabel daya saing.Kata Kunci: kreatifitas, daya saing

Abstract

Bisnis coffee shop di Yogyakarta menjadi bidang bisnis yang memiliki peningkatan cukup besar, dari 350 kedaitahun 2014 menjadi 2091 kedai di tahun 2018. Namun persaingan bisnis coffee shop yang juga pernah diperburukdengan pandemi covid-19. Kondisi tersebut cukup menguji kinerja usaha dari bisnis coffee shop. Variabel yangdipilih untuk menilai kinerja usaha adalah kompetensi wirausaha dan pemasaran media sosial.Penelitian ini menggunakan 127 responden yang diperoleh dari kuisioner. Responden penelitian adalah pelaku usahacoffee shop di Yogyakarta. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode uji regresi linear berganda untuk menguji pengaruhdari variabel kompetensi wirausaha dan pemasaran media sosial terhadap kinerja usaha dengan SPSS versi 25Hasil penelitian variabel kompetensi wirausaha dan pemasaran media sosial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerjausaha dengan nilai f=18,834 > f-tabel=3,07 dan sig.=0,000 < 0,05. Secara parsial masing-masing variabelmemberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja usaha. Kompetensi wirausaha mencerminkan kesiapanpengetahuan dan keterampilan dari pelaku usaha, sehingga bisnis yang dijalankan dengan persiapan matang dapatberjalan dengan baik juga. Pemasaran media sosial menjadi bentuk adaptasi bisnis dalam memanfaatkan teknologiinternet untuk meningkatkan nilai atau kinerja usaha.Kata kunci : kompetensi wirausaha, pemasaran media sosial, kinerja usaha, coffee shop

Abstract

Pertumbuhan jumlah UMKM di Indonesia yang semakin banyak dan tentu saja membuat persaingan antar pelakuUMKM juga semakin sulit. Hal tersebut berdampak pada salah satu UMKM di Kota Bekasi yaitu Salimah yangmerupakan UMKM di bidang fashion. Saat ini Salimah dapat dikatakan sudah tertinggal dalam segi teknologisehingga hal tersebut juga berdampak pada tingkat penjualan dari Salimah sendiri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalahuntuk merumuskan program peningkatan untuk Business Model Canvas Salimah yang baru dengan pendekatanKekuatan, Kelemahan, Peluang dan Ancaman. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptifdengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara. Wawancara dilakukan kepada 7 orang yang terdiri dari pihakinternal dan eksternal. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara, untuk saat ini Salimah sudah dapat memenuhi 9 elemen blokdari Business Model Canvas. Berdasarkan hasil pendekatan diketahui Salimah memiliki 17 kekuatan dan 7kelemahan untuk kondisi internal, lalu untuk kondisi eksternal Salimah memiliki 7 peluang dan 8 ancaman. Setelahmelakukan analisis tersebut kemudian dilakukan pencocokan dan dihasilakn 22 program peningkatan. Darikeseluruhan 22 program peningkatan tersebut kemudian dilakukan grouping dan dihasilkan 12 program peningkatanuntuk Business Model Canvas baru.
