Abstract

The aim of Improving the quality of the Garment/Convection Industry Marble Studio to improve the comprehension and proficiency of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM). The program was established in response to the inadequate accounting literacy and rudimentary bookkeeping methods frequently employed by MSME owners, which often do not accurately represent their enterprises' financial status. The implementation strategy comprises multiple stages: observation, socializing, technical training, and intensive mentorship via a participatory approach. The findings indicate a notable enhancement in participants' comprehension of fundamental accounting principles, categorization of financial transactions, and compilation of financial statements in compliance with SAK EMKM. Moreover, partner MSMEs have commenced the implementation of a more organized and standardized bookkeeping system. This program aims to enhance company accountability and facilitate MSMEs' access to formal financial institutions in the future.

Abstract

This research discusses the concepts of population and sampling in quantitative research, as well as the selection of participants/key informants in qualitative research. The aim of this study is to provide a clear understanding of these concepts and how they are applied in different research methods. The method used in this research is a literature review, analyzing relevant and reliable sources. The results show that in quantitative research, the population refers to the entire group being studied, while sampling is the technique used to select a representative sample from the population. In contrast, qualitative research emphasizes the selection of participants/key informants who are considered to have in-depth and relevant information related to the research topic. Further discussion reveals the importance of selecting the right sample or informant to ensure the validity and relevance of the data obtained. In conclusion, sampling in quantitative research should follow strict procedures to ensure the results are generalizable, while selecting informants in qualitative research prioritizes the depth and quality of the information gathered.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the evolution of data collection techniques in educational management research through a systematic review of literature published over the past two decades. The study adopts a literature review design by analyzing scholarly articles, books, and research reports accessed through major academic databases such as Scopus, ERIC, and Google Scholar. The findings reveal a significant shift from traditional techniques such as interviews and manual observation to modern, technology-based approaches such as learning analytics, big data, and the use of social media as alternative data sources. Moreover, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) is increasingly applied in educational management systems to support more accurate and responsive decision-making. The implications of this research suggest that educational practitioners and researchers must adopt more dynamic and context-aware data collection strategies to effectively address the complexities of today's educational systems. This study presents original value by chronologically mapping the trends in data collection techniques and highlighting the gap between conventional educational management practices and current technological advancements. Therefore, this review contributes significantly to the literature by providing a conceptual and methodological framework that can inform future research and policy development in educational management.
