Abstract

This paper examines how the concepts of halal and thayyib have evolved from basic religious dietary laws to broader principles guiding global industry practices. It explores how these principles are integrated into halal logistics systems in Malaysia, the UAE, and Indonesia. While Malaysia and the UAE have well-developed halal logistics systems, Indonesia is working to strengthen its own through regulations like Law No. 33 of 2014. However, challenges remain in Indonesia, including industry misunderstanding, infrastructure limitations, and regulatory delays. A real challenge is the postponement of the implementation of halal certification requirements until further notice, which was originally scheduled to start in October 2024. This qualitative study uses comparative analysis, literature reviews, and expert interviews to understand these challenges and proposes using ICT to improve halal logistics. The study's novelties include a comprehensive comparative analysis of halal logistics implementation across three countries, the integration of the conceptualization of halal and thayyib in Islam with halal value chain theory and institutional theory, and the emphasis on ICT's role in enhancing logistics efficiency. The study concludes that success in halal logistics requires coordinated efforts from policymakers, industry players, and technological advancements.

Abstract

Islam is a moderate religion that is very close to the dignity of women which is very different from the two religions of its predecessors. In both religions women are considered as a burden in life and very detrimental, women's rights are morally and materially ignored. Like ownership of property, the right to issue testimony, identity is assigned to the husband not to his father. Even as far back as 1956 and perhaps up to now in France and Germany full of women's freedom must obtain the husband's permission to conduct transactions, such as buying and selling, grants from his own property. With library studies and comparative approaches and qualitative methods the author reveals whether Jews and Christians have similarities in their treatment of women in theory and is there a difference between the two religions? Do Islam, Judaism and Christianity in theory give equal treatment to women? Let a Muslim know that there is a gap between the teachings of Islam and the behavior of some Muslims today that are no longer in accordance with Islamic norms. Such behavior does not originate from Islam as a moderate religion. Keywords: Islamic Moderation, In Gender, Comparison, Judaism and Christian.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe Takhrij as a medium for understanding the general rules established by imams that are built on the fiqh fiqh by induction and analyzing specific problems (furu 'fiqhiyah), this is what the takhrij ushul means for furu'.Takhrij also means to resolve differences furu 'fiqhiyah with the ushuliyah rules originating from the imams. It is expected to find a law that does not have the proposition shara 'by returning it to the rules and ushul. With a literature study and comparative approach to descriptive analysis, it is found that fiqh takhrij is also used to recognize the law that comes from a priest in a problem that has no text. Its can be made by comparing it with the same furu 'problem with the texts (qiyas), or comparing it with the understanding of Imam's texts or its generality. This is the furu takrij 'on furu'. Takhrij fiqh can be applied to contemporary problems such as loading and unloading insurance, inflation, copyright, furu 'and Syariah laws' in contemporary matters. The development of takhrij fiqh is dependent on the interaction of theory and practice in the existing field to produce solutions to contemporary problems.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the impact of legal dualism within the Ottoman Empire. After Constantinople was taken over, Sultan Muhammad Al-Fatih instituted a significant policy, including issuing laws and regulations for the benefit of society; then, there was also a dualism system within the Ottoman Empire, which was visible during the reign of Sultan Sulaiman I. During this time, foreign nationals were mainly recruited, and foreign traders began to gain impunity at the peak of power. This then prompted several questions, such as were the sultans free to create the laws they wanted, or was Islamic law still binding on them? Was Sultan's law an innovation from the Ottoman Empire or a legacy from the preceding dynasty in the form of Capitulation? To address those issues, the authors conducted a comparative historical analysis of various types of literature. We used a descriptive qualitative approach to Qānūn's position, which served as a springboard for foreign intervention in an Empire that was strong but weak in political policies which occasionally strayed outside the corridor of Islamic Sharia which had become customary and national culture. The tolerance separated from the corridors of Islam derailed during the crisis. This became a springboard for legal dualism in a state body with integrity in various dimensions. Keywords: Sultan's Law, Sharia, Judiciary,  Ottoman

This research is a quantitative study using Multiple Linear Regression and Sobel Test through Microsoft Excel 2010 and SPSS version 26. The population of this research is BSI South Tangerang customers, 100 respondents were taken as a sample using purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the 5Cs Marketing Mix simultaneously had a significant effect on customer satisfaction and there was a significant effect on customer loyalty. Partially, Conformity has a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction, while Character, Commitment, Conscience and Customer Centrism have no significant effect. Likewise Commitment and Customer Satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on Customer Loyalty, while Conformity, Character, Conscience and Customer Centrism have no significant effect. The results of the Sobel test show that Customer Satisfaction as an intervening variable is able to mediate Conformity to Customer Loyalty, while Character, Commitment, Conscience and Customer Centrism to Customer Loyalty are unable to be mediated by Customer Satisfaction. So this shows that the 5Cs Marketing Mix of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) South Tangerang is quite satisfying but has not been able to increase customer loyalty. Therefore BSI must improve the quality of service to customer needs.

Abstract

The main objectives of a person to invest are to become wealthier and to gain tranquility in his life. It becomes absurd when the right customers for indemnity (kafâlah) towards customers who received a risk become unguaranteed. The customer is often difficult to understand the terms contained in the insurance policy that written in a very small font. The ambiguities of these terms become significant obstacles in the settlement of claims. Cases of claim are mostly the result of the customer’s difficulty in understanding these terms and the lack of a good explanation of the company concerning the content of the policy.DOI: 10.15408/aiq.v5i1.2560

Abstract

A number of economic problems that occurred during the power of Mamluk (1250-1517 AD) was considered as a result of the change to currency system, namely from the system of commodity-based money (gold and silver) into paper-based money (fiat). Instability prices, decrease of trading activities, high of unemployment number were a number of economic indicators that occurred at that time. This issue of macro-economy was considered as a result of changes in the money system. This study analyzes the dynamic relationship between the price of gold as a representation of commodity money system and M2 as a representation of fiat money against the stability of economic indicators such as inflation, economic growth, stock prices, and unemployment and interest rates. This study found that both systems not vary significantly against each other in its influence on macroeconomic variables. It means that the two systems do not have contrast distinction. Indeed, it was found that the commodity-based money system is not free of inflation, as propagated by the supporters of the dinar and dirham (dinarist). DOI: 10.15408/aiq.v9i2.4749

Abstract

Writing this article aims to explain the development of Islamic da'wah in the Maldives Islands, which is unique and rarely found in other Muslim regions. So far, the Maldives is only known as a tourist spot. It is rarely known that all of the Maldives adhere to Islam. The British have also ruled the Maldives for 78 years, influencing the Maldives to some extent. What is the form of da'wah carried out by Abu al-Barakat, whose origins are still debated by historians? But what is clear is that he had a significant influence on the spread of Islam in the Maldives Islands, which is corroborated by classical sources such as the text attributed to Ibn Battuta and several contemporary books. We conducted a literature study on this paper, with a historical approach, by collecting data, verifying and analyzing the data thoroughly, and rewriting the results of the analysis inductively in a qualitative descriptive form. Islam spread in the Maldives peacefully without violence and continues to survive from Christian missionaries and Shiite sects who come to spread their views. Scholars say about the fiqh theory that faith in conscience will not be changed by the sins and heresies it commits.

Abstract

In an era characterized by digital transformation and heightened expectations for service excellence, understanding how organizational support, professionalism, and stress management interact has become increasingly vital. This study aims to synthesize and contextualize existing evidence on these relationships within large-scale, culturally embedded service environments—particularly the Hajj system—through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Using the PRISMA 2020 protocol and the TCCM framework, 41 peer-reviewed articles published between 2015 and 2025 were systematically analyzed. The review employed the Job Demands–Resources (JD-R) and Conservation of Resources (COR) models as theoretical anchors while incorporating cross-sectoral and cross-cultural perspectives. Findings reveal that organizational support functions not merely as a buffer against stress but as a transformative mechanism that fosters ethical commitment, mindfulness, and adaptive professionalism. Interestingly, ethical leadership and spirituality emerged as critical mediators linking support mechanisms to service performance—an aspect often overlooked in Western-centric frameworks. Moreover, digital transformation was found to operate as a paradoxical driver, enhancing efficiency yet potentially triggering technostress unless balanced with empathy and inclusive leadership. The review extends the JD-R model by integrating cultural and spiritual dimensions, reframing professionalism as a moral and relational construct. The study contributes a novel conceptual synthesis that bridges ethical, technological, and psychological dimensions of organizational behavior. Practically, it urges institutions—especially in religious or collectivist service systems—to design integrative strategies that harmonize operational performance with human well-being. Future research should adopt longitudinal and mixed-method approaches, exploring AI-enabled mindfulness interventions and cross-cultural comparisons to refine context-sensitive models of organizational resilience. This study contributes by extending the Job Demands–Resources model through the integration of cultural and spiritual dimensions, offering a novel conceptual synthesis that bridges ethical, technological, and psychological aspects of organizational behavior. It also provides practical insights for designing integrative strategies that align digital efficiency with human well-being, particularly in culturally embedded service systems.
