Abstract

Students in schools use techniques to keep up with the increasingly rapid development of the times. A module is the learning media. Lessons will be easier for students to understand if teaching materials are simple, practical, and relevant. However, activity in living things is still regarded as unsuitable learning material. This is because presenting the characteristics of objects to students in real terms can also be challenging. As a consequence, research and development of teaching materials for class VIII SMP/MTs based on critical thinking and decision-making skills are carried out in motion modules on living things. The goal of this research and development is to validate SMP/MTs class modules in order to improve critical thinking and decision-making skills. The Tessmer Formative evaluation development model is used in this type of research. Aspects of validity include content, presentation, and language. The research data were analyzed descriptively into categories. The results show that the CBSL module developed is in a very valid category with a value of 3.51, implying that this module appears to follow the objectives of learning science and is technically very feasible to be used as a science learning resource.

Abstract

The teacher factor is the first and foremost subsystem in improving education quality. Without professional teachers, it is impossible for an education system to achieve the expected results. Therefore, the main prerequisite that must be met for the teaching and learning process to optimize learning outcomes is the availability of teachers with qualifications and competencies who can meet the demands of their duties. Teacher competencies are described in the lesson plans made. Currently, the lesson plan is made simpler: one page consisting of learning objectives, learning steps, and learning assessments. Lesson plans will be made through an online word-processing application. This service activity aims to teach teachers at the Mathematics MGMP of Barito Kuala Junior High School to make one-page lesson plans using an online word processor. The output of this training is an application to construct lesson plans and articles submitted to national scientific journals. The training is conducted online. Coaching will also be online via Zoom, email, and WhatsApp. Training is carried out 3-4 hours daily, once a week. The implementation is estimated at three times online meetings. After that, there was guidance twice regarding the tasks given in the training. The activity went well. The use of an online word processor to create a one-page. Lesson plans can be used effectively and efficiently during the current pandemic

Abstract

This article aims to describe Green human resource management (GHRM) as an effort to support environmentally friendly behaviour. GHRM must be explained conceptually so that green human resource management practices can be well understood. This article was prepared using the library study method. Performance management in the management environment provides a challenge in measuring environmental performance standards in various corporate units and obtaining useful data for managers about environmental performance. Green performance appraisal includes themes such as environmental responsibility, environmental incidents and knowledge of environmental policies and issues, as the issues involved in environmental performance appraisal relate to the requirement for managers to be held accountable for environmental performance. Green performance appraisal is a process in which employees are stimulated to enhance professional skills in environmental issues, which helps to achieve environmental performance goals and objectives in a better way. The green reward system plays an important role in motivating people and helping to identify their significant performance towards environmental stewardship.

Abstract

Education is a conscious effort made to prepare human resources to be able to participate actively in society. Good education is expected to give birth to a superior generation that can continue the development and progress of a nation. Quality education is determined, among other things, by the presence of quality teachers, namely teachers who can carry out their responsibilities professionally. Professional teachers have at least four competencies, namely pedagogic, personality, social and professional competencies. Developing teacher professionalism is a continuous effort made to ensure the quality of education and learning in schools. Teacher professionalism development takes place at three levels, namely personal, institutional and government. The implementation of teacher professionalism development is still problematic in several regions, especially considering the low quality of education. The results of international comparative studies such as TIMSS and PISA place Indonesia in the lowest position. This research aims to find out how teacher professionalism is developed in North Hulu Sungai Regency. This research uses a case study strategy at SDN Rantau Karau Tengah and SDN Rantau Karau Hilir. The results of the research show that, at both SDN Rantau Karau Tengah and SDN Rantau Karau Hilir, the majority of teachers have a bachelor's education certificate, which is the minimum requirement as a teacher, and the majority of teachers have a certificate as a professional teacher. The development of teacher professionalism in North Hulu Sungai Regency occurs at all levels, namely the personal, institutional and government levels. In terms of participation in teacher professional development programs, the two SDNs differ quite significantly. Teachers at SDN Rantau Karau Hilir generally have participated in training carried out by the government, while teachers at SDN Rantau Karau Tengah are less involved in scientific activities, such as seminars and the like, are diligent in participating in teacher achievement competitions, and feel that the District Government provides assistance. towards increasing their professionalism. Meanwhile, teachers at SDN Rantau Karau Tengah are not always involved in scientific activities, rarely take part in achievement teacher competitions, and feel that the District Government does not contribute to increasing their professionalism.

Abstract

An essential component of learning is assessment. To make decisions about any component of learning, assessment is required. Assessment is used, for instance, to evaluate the effectiveness of a learning process and to ascertain whether target learners are eligible to move on to the next educational level. Assessments are frequently used for diagnostic purposes, or to identify the learning challenges that pupils are facing. A diagnostic assessment can be used to guide particular actions that will enhance learning results. Assessment is also used by teachers to assess the prepared learning design and determine how successful the design is. How to evaluate student learning outcomes is a common query about realistic mathematics education (RME). Does RME evaluation vary from other forms of assessment? Maybe people just view evaluation as the last phase of a learning process that takes place at the end of a specific amount of time and determines how well pupils have understood the material in mathematics. People perceive RME differently from learning methodologies that have been used in schools, therefore this question makes a lot of sense. RME necessitates distinct ways of assessment because of three things: philosophy, principles, and characteristics. According to RME philosophy, mathematics is a human activity. Three guiding ideas of RME are self-model development, didactic phenomena, and re-invention. The assessment ought to be in line with this principle as well. The five aspects of RME—the utilization of context, models, student contributions, interactivity, and intertwine—must also be discussed during the evaluation. In this essay, I will go into further detail on RME assessment, including its features, some problem instances, student work analysis, and scoring

Abstract

In developing PMRI, it is necessary to know the information of users, namely teachers, especially information related to the extent of teacher use and concern for the PMRI approach. This study aims to determine the level of use and concern for PMRI of elementary school teachers in grades I, II, and III in Banjarmasin City. The level of use and concern in this study is part of the Concern Based Adoption Model (CBAM). Quantitative descriptive research is a type of this research. The sampling technique for this study was purposive sampling. There were 4 schools that were included, where 33 teachers became respondents in the semi-open and closed questionnaires on the level of use and 39 teachers became respondents in the closed questionnaire on the level of concern. The results of the study showed, first, that the highest percentage was the level that described the situation in which teachers re-evaluated the quality of PMRI use, sought major modifications to current innovations to achieve greater impact on students, and examined new developments in the field. Second, teachers were identified as wanting to learn more about PMRI, but not making PMRI their sole concern, being interested in PMRI in terms of its impact only on themselves, in its implementation tending to be interested in collaboration, and teachers having some ideas about other approaches that might work better.
