Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find learning model steps that are able to develop critical thinking skills, as well as to analyze students' learning outcomes. The combination of Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) model steps is a learning strategy that is expected to be implemented effectively. The method used in this research is Research and Development. The research stages can be broken down as follows: (1) the preparation stage, (2) the Problem Based Learning and HOTS Model Development stage, (3) the model effectiveness analysis stage. The results of the research on the development of the Problem Based Learning and HOTS Model obtained an increase in students' critical thinking skills of 42.50, and learning outcomes with an average score of 86.14. Students' critical thinking gain of 0.75 is included in the high category. The conclusion from the research results is that the Problem Based Learning and HOTS models are effectively implemented in learning at SDN Kertak Hanyar, in other words can improve critical thinking skills, and student learning outcomes. As a follow-up to the results of this study, a wider dissemination of the steps of the Problem Based Learning and HOTS model will be carried out to teachers at Banjar Regency elementary schools

Abstract

Permasalahan dari penelitian ini adalah rendahnya aktivitas, keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siwa terhadap muatan PPKn. Penyebab dari masalah tersebut adalah siswa tidak terlibat aktif dalam proses pembelajaran hanya mendengarkan penjelasan dan arahan dari guru tanpa melakukan interaksi langsung atau pembelajaran yang bersifat satu arah. Siswa tidak fokus belajar sehingga mengikuti pembelajaran kurang aktif, siswa kurang percaya diri untuk bertanya, mengemukakan pendapat dan memberikan tanggapan terhadap pembelajaran. Solusi dalam mengatasi masalah di atas adalah melakukan pembelajaran menggunakan model PELANGI. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, menganalisis aktivitas siswa, menganalisis keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dan hasil belajar PPKn. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas selama tiga pertemuan dengan subjek penelitian 24 orang siswa. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa dengan presentase 96% dengan kriteria “sangat aktif“. Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dengan presentase 96% dengan kriteria “hampir seluruh siswa berpikir kritis”. Hasil belajar siswa dengan presentase 99% dengan kriteria “tuntas”. Berdasarkan temuan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa model PELANGI dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa, keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Permasalahan pada penelitian ini yaitu, aktivitas siswa, keterampilan berpikir kritis serta hasil belajar yang belum meningkat disebabkan pembelajaran yang kurang menarik, bersifat satu arah dan kurangnya kesempatan siswa berperan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Upaya dalam mengatasi permasalahan yang terjadi dengan menerapkan model PERSAHABATAN (Problem Based Learning, Somati, Auditory, Visual, Intellectualy, Number Head Togrther) pada pembelajaran. Tujuan pada penelitian ini yaitu, meningkatkan aktivitas siswa, keterampilan berpikir kritis serta hasil belajar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif, dengan penelitian tindakan kelas dilaksanakan sebanyak empat pertemuan. Penelitian berlokasi di SDN Kelayan Timur 9 Banjarmasin siswa kelas V. Data kualitatif didapat dari observasi aktivitas guru, siswa, keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari hasil klasikal persentase aktivitas siswa dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan aktivitas siswa, guru, keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar dari pertemuan I sampai pertemuan IV mencapai standar yang diharapkan. Pada pertemuan IV, aktivitas guru mencapai kriteria sangat baik, aktivitas siswa mencapai 83%, keterampilan berpikir kritis mencapai 83% dan hasil belajar siswa mencapai ketuntasan klasikal 100%.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low level of critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes in social studies learning. To overcome this, use the PEMENANG model in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to analyze critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes. Researchers used PTK, held 3 meetings in class 5 at SDI Al-Munawwarah with a total of 15 students. Researchers use a qualitative approach, with qualitative and quantitative data types. Data was analyzed qualitatively, namely critical thinking skills, and quantitatively, namely learning outcomes. The results of this research show that Critical Thinking Skills at meeting 1 obtained 40% with the "Less Critical" criteria, increasing at meeting 3 to 87% with the "Very Critical" criteria. Students obtained learning outcomes at meeting 1 with classical completeness of 55% and then experienced an increase at meeting 3 by obtaining classical completeness of 93%. The results of the research can be concluded that the use of the PEMENANG model can improve critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The ‘Merdeka Belajar’ learning system is a form of new policy in updating the previous curriculum or what is known as the 2013 Curriculum and in implementing it, of course, it requires careful preparation so that the obstacles that arise can be overcome properly. This study aims to determine the readiness of social studies teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Martapura in implementing independent learning. Data for this type of research was collected through documentation, interviews and observations. The results show that teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Martapura are ready to implement an independent curriculum. This research uses teachers' cognitive, physical and psychological readiness as an indication of their readiness level. Teachers' cognitive, physical and psychological readiness are indicative of the level of readiness.

Abstract

Smart Apps Creator is used by educators as Interactive Multimedia to become an interesting technology-based media, so that the learning process is easier and more fun so that it can motivate students while learning. The purpose is to describe the efforts of educators in using technology in making interesting innovations in the learning process for students in class VII on MTs. Raudhatul Islamiyah. The research method used is a qualitative method with the aim of explaining the creation and application of interactive multimedia in Market Material in Class VII at MTs. Raudhatul Islamiyah. The subjects of the study were social studies educators and grade VII learners. Observation is carried out by making direct observations of the object of research, while interviews involve interaction with individuals related to the research. Documentation, in this study takes data from certain documents that are relevant to the research. After completing collecting data, the next stage is analyzing using descriptive analysis methods. This analysis process includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions, which collectively help create a comprehensive illustration. The results and discussion of the research is the creation and application of Interactive Multimedia Social Studies Learning from local content Lok Baintan Floating Market using the Smart Apps Creator application by educators in the learning process Market Material for grade VII MTs students. Raudhatul Islamiyah can contribute to the development of innovative and effective learning strategies at the secondary education level. The conclusion that can be drawn from this study is that the application of interactive multimedia social studies learning by social studies teachers using Smart Apps Creator makes learning more effective and efficient in accordance with the objectives for education.

Abstract

21st century learning requires students to have 4C skills (communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem solving and creativity and innovation). These skills are high-level thinking abilities or what we usually call HOTS. Critical thinking skills are very important in learning at school so learning and assessment must be designed to develop critical thinking skills. The evaluation tool used must take into account students' higher-order thinking abilities which encourage students to use HOTS abilities. The evaluation tools used in elementary schools are still not HOTS based, so they do not measure critical thinking abilities. Innovation to develop critical thinking evaluation tools in elementary school aims to: (1) produce an assessment instrument that can measure high-level thinking abilities (HOTS), (2) produce an assessment instrument that can measure critical thinking abilities. This research uses a type of development research (Research and Development). The results of the research state that the evaluation tool can be used as an assessment instrument capable of measuring higher order thinking abilities (HOTS) such as critical thinking skills

Abstract

Analisis situasi dan permasalahan mitra, yakni anggota forum MGMP Fisika Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu menunjukkan adanya permasalah yang berkaitan dengan isu SDG’s dengan prioritas isu pendidikan bermutu, dimana mutu pendidikan belum merata. Pengabdian ini berfokus pada tiga kegiatan utama sebagai solusi permasalahan yang telah teridentifikasi. Solusi yang berkaitan permasalahan guru belum berfokus kepada pemanfaatan teknologi  pembelajaran dalam rangka penguatan profil pelajar pancasila adalah melaksanakan lokakarya pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran dalam rangka penguatan profil pelajar pancasila. Hal ini berkaitan dengan luaran berupa peningkatan keberdayaan mitra pada aspek manajemen, yakni pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Ketercapaian peningkatan keberdayaan mitra pada aspek manajemen, yakni pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran diukur menggunakan lembar observasi. Ketercapaian dihitung melalui skor rata-rata yang diperoleh. Kegiatan pengabdian dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan perencanaan pembelajaran inovatif yang terintegrasi dengan kearifan lokal dan memuat isu-isu masyarakat global sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan setiap individu untuk mengeksplorasi permasalahan atau fenomena yang terjadi di lingkungan sekitar tempat tinggalnya, terutama yang terkait perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi

Abstract

The Grand Forest Park (Tahura) is essentially built and developed as regional wealth. For the sake of economic development and conservation towards Law Number 22 of 1999 concerning regional government and Law number 41 of 99 concerning forestry, Tahura has an important role for local governments to develop the development of the Tahura area. Is expected to have an important role in the development of economic activities and regional conservation activities as tourism education research activities for community development around the area and biodiversity conservation. In the Tahura study, Sultan Adam was chosen as the object of research or object of study, considering that he is located in Mandiangin Village, Banjar Regency, under the auspices of the South Kalimantan Provincial Forestry Service. The purpose of this research was to see how the role of Tahura has on the economic development of the surrounding community. The research method used in this study is a survey method. The presence of visitors does not always have an impact on the sales results obtained by traders. Sometimes visitors have brought their own food. Visitors who come from certain communities and agencies who carry out activities at the Sultan Adam Tahura often bring their own food ordered from other places. This is because there is an assumption that the prices of goods at tourist sites are more expensive, so visitors choose to bring their own food from home.

Abstract

This journal article discusses the influence of self-confidence on public speaking skills in adolescents. This article finds interesting facts that social interaction with the environment and even includes support from peers, family, and teachers, plays an important role of one's self in shaping and increasing one's self-confidence. From the results of the interviews and questionnaires that we distributed, it can be concluded that for someone to improve their public speaking skills, efforts are also needed to strengthen and increase their confidence through positive social interaction and also support from the surrounding environment. From this article, it is hoped that it can contribute even to the development of educational strategies as well as effective interventions to improve public speaking skills in everyone. The research methods used include interviews and questionnaire distribution. The questionnaire was distributed to collect quantitative data on the level of confidence and its influence on public speaking skills. The results of our study show that self-confidence has a significant role in determining a person's success in public speaking. A person with a high level of confidence tends to be better able to overcome fear and anxiety, and is more effective in conveying their message to the audience. The hope of the discussion in this article is that we can all learn and even understand that there are causes and effects experienced by others that are certainly different from what we experience. So that we can also learn to see someone's reasoning from another point of view.
