Abstract

A gift is a free and irrevocable gift from one person to another person regarding movable goods through a Notarial deed or immovable goods under a deed from the Land Deed Official (PPAT) while the grantor is still alive. Gifts can only be made on existing objects, in contrast to inheritance which makes it possible to inherit existing assets, for example insurance coverage money. Even though the rules regarding gifts are clear, problems still often arise where heirs do not agree if the heir's assets are gifted to other people who are not related to the heir, including adopted children. Through descriptive analytical research, the article aims to find out the conditions regarding grants and the maximum share that grant recipients are entitled to get even if they are not heirs such as adopted children

Abstract

Marriage is a form of worship because it has a noble purpose to maintain human survival as stated in the Qur'an. It is hoped that a marriage will be carried out forever and without anything being hidden. In Islam, a husband is allowed to have more than one wife (polygamy) as long as he can act fairly and comply with applicable regulations. When you want to remarry, one of the conditions is the wife's consent and permission from the Religious Court. The husband committed the falsification of his identity when he was about to remarry. Through analytical descriptive research, this article aims to understand the terms and conditions of polygamous marriages and for husbands to understand the impact of the law on falsifying identities in marriage. The presence of identity falsification is one of the judge's considerations in handing down a decision to annul a marriage

Abstract

Pancasila as the foundation of the Indonesian state holds a vital position in shaping the character and national identity, yet the understanding of Pancasila values among the younger generation, particularly university students, tends to deteriorate in the era of globalization. The problem faced by students at the UPMI is that their understanding of Pancasila remains normative and limited to memorizing its principles without comprehending the elaboration of values contained in each principle and how to apply them in real life. Phenomena such as intolerance, discrimination, and declining nationalism indicate that a deep understanding of the elaboration of Pancasila values has not been optimal. To address this problem, socialization activities regarding the elaboration of Pancasila values were conducted through coordination with the UPMI rectorate and the student affairs division. Implementation methods included interactive lectures, group discussions, case study presentations, and question-and-answer sessions. The material covered Pancasila as the state foundation and the urgency of understanding its value elaboration, the elaboration of values in each principle of Pancasila and their implementation in student life, as well as the role of students in preserving and disseminating Pancasila values. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' understanding of the elaboration of Pancasila values and heightened awareness to practice them in daily life, thereby forming strong student character aligned with the Indonesian national identity.

Abstract

This study examines legal protection for children as heirs in the Indonesian family law system. Disparities in the treatment of children in various inheritance law systems applicable in Indonesia create legal uncertainty that has the potential to harm the interests of children. Using a normative juridical method with a legislative and case-based approach, the study found that the protection of children's inheritance rights is still fragmented in several legal systems that are sometimes contradictory. Harmonization of regulations is needed to place the principle of the best interests of the child as the primary consideration in the settlement of inheritance disputes, including strengthening the role of guardianship institutions in supervising the management of the inheritance of minors.
