Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the mill station of PG Krebet Baru Unit of PT PG Rajawali I conduct its maintenance system, assess its effectiveness, and provide the station with suggestions concerning the maintenance of its machinery and production equipment based on the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) method. The plant’s history data show that its production process was frequently hampered by down time caused by machinery malfunctions, planned maintenance, and raw material issues. During the 2024 production season, the machinery operated nonstop in a fairly high intensity. The data of this quantitative descriptive study was harvested through observations, interviews, and literature or document studies. They were processed using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Six Big Losses analysis, and Fishbone Diagram. The results indicate that the maintenance was carried out through three approaches: preventive, breakdown, and predictive. The effectiveness measurement resulted in 98,53% for OEE, 99.17% for availability, 99.97% for performance efficiency, and 99.38% for rate of quality. The Six Big Losses analysis discovered that the biggest losses is in reduced speed losses by 6.9%. Based on the results above, the company is suggested to improve its maintenance program by focusing on preventive measures, to pay more attention to machinery operation performance control, and to optimize supply management and quality raw material availability.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how organizational culture and interpersonal communication impact employee performance, focusing on the XYZ company in the oil and gas industry. The research adopts an associative approach using quantitative methods. A sample of 66 respondents was conveniently selected from a population of 152 within the company. The participants, current employees of XYZ company, responded to a Likert scale questionnaire ranging from 1 to 5. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was used for validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. Multiple linear regression tests were applied for data analysis, and hypothesis testing was conducted for both partial and simultaneous assessments. Results reveal that organizational culture (X1) has a positive partial and simultaneous influence on employee performance (Y). However, interpersonal communication (X2) does not exhibit a partial or simultaneous impact on employee performance (Y). Notably, both organizational culture (X1) and interpersonal communication (X2) variables positively influence employee performance (Y) when considered both partially and simultaneously.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze prime and support activities which is used on Pesans.id and provides solutions in the development of Pesans.id business using the results of Value Chain Analysis. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The research object is start-up business food and beverages Pesans.id located in Bogor, West Java with the subject of research in the form of value chains in business start-up Pesans.id whose data sources are members of Pesans.id and consumers who have purchased a product at least once. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions using Value Chain Analysis. The results of the study show that the implementation of the value chain in Pesans.id is in line with the Value Chain Analysis theory which has primary activities as main discussion, whereas support activities explained as activities to support the main activities. Pesans.id has various advantages such as providing uniqueness to the products sold by focusing on superior quality both in terms of the company brand and the products sold by selecting raw materials which are always considered, making better business SOPs and improving service to consumers so that they have a high selling value in the eyes of consumers and make consumers want to buy and repurchase so that Pesans.id implements a differentiation strategy as the main pillar in business development that will be carried out in the future.

Abstract

PT Petrosida Gresik merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang agroindustri yang memproduksi pestisida. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi apakah yang cocok digunakan PT Petrosida Gresik untuk bersaing dalam industri pestisida di Indonesia. Persaingan industri pestisida yang semakin   ketat   saat   ini   menyebabkan   perlunya   perumusan   strategi   yang berdasarkan analisis lingkungan untuk mengetahui peluang, ancaman, kekuatan, dan kelemahan perusahaan. Analisis lingkungan dilakukan melalui penilaian eksternal yang meliputi aspek ekonomi; sosial, budaya, demografis, dan lingkungan; politik, pemerintahan, dan hukum; teknologi dan persaingan industri. Sedangkan aspek internal yang dinilai adalah manajemen; pemasaran; keuangan; produksi;  penelitian  dan  pengembangan;  dan  sistem  informasi  manajemen. Faktor-faktor eksternal dan internal tersebut dianalisis melalui tiga tahap. Tahap pertama yaitu tahap masukan menggunakan alat analisis Matriks IFE, Matriks EFE, dan Matriks CPM. Tahap kedua yaitu tahap pencocokan menggunakan alat analisis Matriks SWOT, Matriks SPACE, dan Matriks IE. Tahap ketiga yaitu tahap keputusan menggunakan QSPM.   Pada tahap masukan, hasil analisis Matriks EFE menunjukkan total skor bobot 3,00 dengan masing-masing nilai peluang 1,28 dan nilai ancaman 1,72. Analisis matriks IFE menunjukkan total skor bobot 2,61 dengan masing-masing nilai kekuatan 2,14 dan kelemahan 0,47. Analisis matriks CPM menunjukkan posisi bersaing PT Petrosida Gresik yang berada di bawah PT Syngenta Indonesia dan di atas PT Petrokimia Kayaku. Pada tahap pencocokan, hasil analisis IE dan SPACE menunjukkan strategi alternatif integrasi ke belakang, integrasi ke depan, dan integrasi horizontal, penetrasi pasar, pengembangan pasar, dan pengembangan produk dengan didukung strategi ST dari hasil analisis Matriks SWOT. Analisis QSPM pada tahap keputusan menunjukkan PT Petrosida Gresik harus lebih mengutamakan strategi penetrasi pasar daripada strategi pengembangan produk.   Kata  kunci:  Perumusan  Strategi,  Matriks  IFE,  Matriks  EFE,  Matriks  CPM, Matriks SWOT, Matriks SPACE, Matriks IE, dan QSPM.

Abstract

Dalam mencapai tujuan suatu perusahaan, sumber daya manusia merupakan salah satu hal penting untuk mencapai tujuan sebuah perusahaan. Pada pelaksaannya, karakteristik pekerjaan dan kepuasan kerja menjadi faktor yang mempengaruhi prestasi kerja karyawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Cabang Bandar Udara Internasional Juanda Surabaya, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung karakteristk pekerjaan terhadap kepuasan kerja, pengaruh langsung kepuasan kerja terhadap prestasi kerja, pengaruh langsung karakteristik pekerjaan terhadap prestasi kerja, dan pengaruh tidak langsung karakteristik pekerjaan terhadap prestasi kerja melalui kepuasan kerja karyawan. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan explanatory research. Dari 60 kuesioner yang didistribusikan, sebanyak 50 kuesioner yang kembali. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuisoner diukur dengan skala likert, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Karakteristik Pekerjaan berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Karyawan, (2) Kepuasan Kerja berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap Prestasi Kerja Karyawan, (3) Karakteristik Pekerjaan berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap Prestasi Kerja Karyawan, (4) Karakteristik Pekerjaan berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap Prestasi Kerja melalui Kepuasan Kerja Karyawan PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Cabang Bandar Udara Internasional Juanda Surabaya. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Cabang Bandar Udara Internasional Juanda Surabaya telah menerapkan dengan baik karakteristik pekerjaan sebagai cara untuk meningkatkan kepuasan dan prestasi kerja.   Kata kunci: Karakteristik Pekerjaan, Kepuasan Kerja, Prestasi Kerja

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui untuk mengetahui karakteristik dari segmen anak muda dalam pembelian  smartphone  berdasarkan variabel sikap  dan kepribadian  pada Universitas Brawijaya Kampus 4. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif (descriptive).  Jumlah sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 120 sampel. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis K-Means Cluster. Berdasarkan hasil analisis  cluster  dengan menggunakan K-Means Cluster didapat 3  cluster, pertama yaitu  LIFESTYLE USER dimana anak muda dalam melakukan pembelian smartphone hanya sebagai bentuk dari gaya hidup dan status sosial. Cluster  kedua yaitu, EMPLOYEE USER  dimana anak muda dalam melakukan pembelian  smartphone  berdasarkan spesifikasi yang sesuai dengan  kebutuhan.  Cluster  ketiga yaitu,  ACTIVE USER  dimana anak muda dalam melakukan pembelian smartphone berdasarkan pertimbangan dari diri sendiri.Kata kunci: analisis cluster, segmentasi, smartphone, sikap, kepribadian.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the Influence of Brand Image and Store Atmosphere Of Interest Buy Consumer to Distro Inspired27 In Malang, and  in this study used the Partial Test and Simultaneous Test. This type of research is correlational research  that explains the causal relationship between the variables through hypothesis testing.In this study used a sample of 300 respondents drawn from the population of adolescents aged 15 to 30 years old in the city of Malang who ever bought or visiting to Distro Inspired27. Sampling using accidental  sampling technique using certain considerations, generally tailored to the criteria, or objectives of this research problem. To determine the magnitude of the relationship and the influence of the independent variables on the dependent variable used Model Regression Analysis, while to test the hypothesis using the t test and F test.The results showed that the results of the  statistical calculation results obtained coefficient of determination (adjusted R2) of 41.5%. That is the variable brand image and store atmosphere provides an explanation of 41.5% of consumer buying interest on distributions Inspired27. Partial test shows that the brand image variables are not significantly influence consumer buying interest and a variable store atmosphere significantly influence consumer purchasing request on Inspired27 distributions. However, simultaneously the two variables influence on consumer buying interest on Distro Inspired27. Keywords: Brand Image, Store Atmoshere, and Consumer Interest Buying.

Abstract

Ornamental plants, as the potential of Malang City, give rise to business opportunities in the field of environmental conservation. The involvement of the younger generation in business is indispensable to encourage regional economic growth. This activity aims to increase the motivation of the younger generation in green business-based entrepreneurship. The activity took place at Semi Abadi, a prominent center for ornamental plant businesses in Batu City. This event was attended by 30 members from the Youth Organization of Mojolangu sub-district, Malang City. Two methods were used in this activity, seminar and practice. The initial activity session consisted of a seminar on ornamental plant entrepreneurship held at the Semi Abadi kiosk. This was followed by the second session, which involved practical exercises in the cultivation garden. The completion of the evaluation sheet was conducted after the activity in order to assess alterations in motivation pre and post activity. The assessment of motivation involves the application of indicators, including the need for achievement, need for power, and need for affiliation. The data analyzed using the paired T-Test showed a significant increase in motivation in green business-based entrepreneurship after participating in activities when compared to before the activity on all aspects of motivation, the need for power and affiliation has increased higher than the need for achievement. Through Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), the results affirm the questionnaire instrument's fit to measure motivation. The Youth Organization holds the expectation that this activity can be consistently conducted with the aid of business consulting and marketing.

Abstract

Lean manufacturing is a resource-optimizing method used by companies to maximize productivity and minimize was. One of the instruments in the method is the Kanban system, which offers various usefulness in operational management. The objective of this study is to analyze the production process at PT Libies Media Grafika; the result of which will be used to provide improvement recommendations. The data of this quantitative descriptive applied research was harvested via interviews, document studies, and direct observations to the company. The results of the interviews and observations indicate that there are several activities identified as waste; they are waste waiting in the material lift-up activities during the printing phase, material transport during the quality control phase, and waste defect such as paint bleeding and glue peeling. This study also finds that the application of Kanban system can eliminate waste, which increased the total value-added ratio in the company’s production process from 53.47% to 55.19%.

Abstract

The rapid growth of tourist destinations in Batu City has posed challenges for travel agencies in designing efficient tourism routes. Ineffective routing can lead to extended travel time, tourist dissatisfaction, and operational inefficiencies. This study aims to design optimal tourism routes using the Minimum Spanning Tree (MST) method through Prim’s algorithm and to compare manual calculations with those generated by QM for Windows software. A descriptive quantitative approach with a replication model was employed, involving one purposively selected key informant—a travel coordinator at Tour and Travel Agency X—due to their expertise in route planning. Primary data were collected through structured interviews, while secondary data, including inter-location distances, were sourced from Google Maps and internal documents. The sample comprises four predefined tour packages. Analysis involved constructing a weighted graph, followed by MST calculations conducted manually and using QM for Windows. Results indicate that QM for Windows consistently produces shorter routes than manual computation. However, practical implementation still requires consideration of real-world factors such as road conditions and agency policies. This study offers practical insights for data-driven tourism route planning and contributes to more efficient and customer-centered travel operations.
