Abstract

This study is motivated by problems in the implementation of the Mathematics learning process in class IV, namely the low interest in learning of students and the weak understanding of students in mathematics subjects. Efforts to overcome these problems are to develop unit conversion board props that can improve student learning outcomes with attractive learning media. This type of research uses the type of research and development R & D (Research and Development). The development model used is the ADDIE development model, namely: Analyze, what is done is to analyze learning in accordance with the needs of students. Design, determine the design of the unit conversion board that will be made according to the material that has been determined. Development, is an advanced stage of the analysis and design stages. Implementation, the results of development are applied in learning to determine effectiveness, attractiveness and practicality. Evaluation, is a process carried out to provide value to the learning outcomes that have been learned. The results of this research and development have produced teaching materials in the form of unit conversion board props in learning Mathematics in class IV obtained from 3 validators, the validity of the unit conversion board props obtained from 5 validation experts getting an average percentage of 84.14% categorized as very valid, the practicality of the unit conversion board props obtained from educators and students with an average percentage of 91.78% categorized as very practical, the results of the effectiveness carried out by 27 students following learning using the unit conversion board developed with an average of 92.60% categorized as very effective.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a module that does not yet reflect differentiated learning, which refers to learning that is adapted to students' learning styles, such as audio, visual and kinesthetic. An effort to overcome this problem is to innovate learning by utilizing digital technology to create teaching materials in the form of science literacy-based teaching e-modules using a books creator, which can be accessed and operated easily to improve the quality of learning. This type of research is research and development which uses the ADDIE development model. The trial was carried out on class V homeroom teachers at SDN 11 Sitiung with data collection techniques through analysis of validity test data, practicality of the E-Module. The resulting e-module obtained media, material and language validation scores with an average score of 89%, categorized as very valid. The practicality of the teaching e-module received a score of 94% which was categorized as very practical. So it can be concluded that the E-Module based on science and science literacy on harmony in ecosystems in class V at SDN 11 Sitiung is interesting and suitable for application and can continue to be developed as a learning innovation.

Abstract

This research is based on the learning process that has not shown interesting progress and has not been able to encourage active participation from students. This situation directly has a negative effect on student learning achievement in Mathematics which is still relatively low. Therefore, efforts are needed to develop more effective and interesting learning methods to improve student learning outcomes in these subjects. This study aims to obtain information on how much the Discovery Learning type cooperative learning model has an effect on the learning outcomes of Mathematics students in grade 5 elementary school. This study is an experimental research that uses a pre-experimental research design, with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The location of the research was carried out at SDN 02 Tiumang, Tiumang District, Dharmasraya Regency. The research sample consisted of 22 students who were all 5th grade students. The data collection instrument used is a multiple-choice test of 25 items, which has been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that the average score of the pretest was 48.18 and the average score of the posttest was 83.64. The description of the data from the analysis of pretest and posttest data, using the Paired Sample T-test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. From the criteria of the provision, if the significance < 0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence from the application of the Discovery Learning type cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of Mathematics students in grade 5 of SDN 02 Tiumang.

Abstract

The introduction of professions to children helps children recognize professions that are around, develop thinking skills, and help children prepare for their future. The introduction of professions can be done using Pop Up Book media because of its unique and interesting shape when opened. The type of research is development research using the ADDIE development model.. Data collection used in this research is observation and questionnaire (questionnaire). The results of this study are based on validity tests, practicality tests and effectiveness tests. The results of the media validator analysis obtained a score of 100% with a very valid category, the material expert scored 94% with a very valid category, and the linguist validator obtained 89% with a very valid category. Practicality test with 1 teacher scored 88% with a very practical category. effectiveness test tested 15 children with a score of 93% with a practical category with an average achievement in the emerging category. Thus pop up book media for the introduction of professions is effective and can be used by teachers and children in Bakti 53 Koto Salak Islamic Kindergarten, Dharmasraya Regency.

Abstract

Mathematics learning tends to emphasize routine problems so that students' analytical thinking is not optimal. This reason is one of the obstacles to the development of students' creative abilities. Linear programming material appears in mathematics subject in high school. In this material students are directed to be able to interpret the problems that exist in the language of mathematics and then solve them according to needs. In the process of interpreting, students are guided to construct their creative thinking abilities. In addition, the availability of teaching materials has not facilitated student learning independently. The goal to be achieved in this research is to describe the feasibility of contextually-oriented worksheets based on students' creative thinking skills. The development model adapted in this research is the development of borg and gall. Starting with the stages of data collection, product development, validation, revision of the validator and field trials. Based on the results of the study, it was found that contextually based LKPD was declared feasible. Feasibility from a practical point of view was obtained from the results of individual trials on two math teacher respondents with an average acquisition of both 4.095 fulfilling very practical criteria. Furthermore, feasibility in terms of the effectiveness of the developed LKPD obtained pre-test (initial test) and post-test results in group trials. The results of the gain test score were 0.66 in the moderate improvement category. So that contextually based LKPD is said to be able to support effective learning.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu bidang kehidupan yang dapat terpengaruh oleh digitalisasi. Dalam penelitian penulis tertarik untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa LKPD, karena dalam LKPD ini peserta didik lebih bersemangat dalam mengerjakan soal dan lebih tertarik dengan mata Pelajaran matematika. Metode yang digunakan penulis dalam penelitan ini adalah (research and development) atau dikenal dengan model pengembangan 4D. Model ini terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu, pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan dan penyebaran. Jenis data yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket validasi, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, angket, soal, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis validasi LKPD, analisis kepraktisan LKPD, dan analisis keefektifan LKPD. Hasil yang diperoleh validitas bahan ajar LKPD yang dinilai oleh 3 validator, menunjukkan media LKPD berbasis pendekatan Realistic Mathematic Education memperoleh presentase sebesar 80,00% dengan kategori sangat valid, LKPD berbasis pendekatan Realistic Mathematic Education layak digunakan dan sesuai dengan ketentuan SDN 25 Pulau Punjung. Hasil penilaian kepraktisan dari angket respon guru memperoleh nilai sebesar 95,71% dengan kategori sangat praktis, sedangkat hasil kepraktisan dari angket respon peserta didik sebesar 89,85% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Untuk hasil keefektifan yang dinilai dari pre-test dan pos-test peserta didik memperoleh rerata sebesar 78,06% dengan kategori efektif.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems that occur in the field such as limited learning media at school, and students do not pay attention to the teacher when explaining, there is a lack of interest and will lead to low student learning outcomes in participating in learning, passive students when given questions by the teacher which will have an impact on the decline in student learning outcomes, cool with themselves and chatting with their peers. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the influence of Domath (Domino mathematic) media on fraction material on the learning outcomes of grade IV students of SDN 14 Koto Baru. The type of research used is quantitative using experimental research methods. This research used the form of one group pretest-postest design this design uses one group, namely the experimental class. The post-test results showed an increase in student learning outcomes, where from the pre-test average of 59.736 it increased to 77.368 in the post-test results. In addition, there was a change in the number of students who were complete and incomplete. Students who completed the pre-test were 8 students and increased in the posttest to 16 out of 19 students. These results were followed by the acquisition of excellent post-test scores, where the highest score reached 90 and the lowest score was 55. These learning outcomes show the difference between before treatment and after treatment.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of observations during the implementation of the School Field Introduction Program (PLP) at SDN 17 Sitiung, which showed low mathematics learning outcomes of grade I students, especially in addition and subtraction materials. The low learning outcomes are caused by the lack of utilization of interesting learning media that are in accordance with the characteristics of elementary school students. Therefore, this study aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the use of Montessori counting stick media. The study used a quantitative approach with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects of the study were 12 grade I students of SDN 17 Sitiung. The data collection instrument was in the form of tests, namely pretest and posttest, which were used to measure initial abilities and after treatment. The average pretest score of students was 52.64. After treatment in the form of using Montessori counting stick media, the average posttest score increased to 83.33. Data analysis was carried out using the Paired Sample T-Test. The results of the analysis showed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), which means there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. This indicates that the use of Montessori counting stick media has a positive effect on improving students' mathematics learning outcomes. This increase occurs because the counting stick media is able to attract students' attention, arouse their enthusiasm for learning, and help them understand the concept of addition and subtraction in a concrete and enjoyable way. With an approach that is in accordance with students' cognitive development, the learning process becomes more effective. In conclusion, the Montessori counting stick media has proven effective in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of grade I students of SDN 17 Sitiung on the addition and subtraction material.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students' lack of focus during lessons, the limited variety of learning media, the predominance of lecture-based teaching methods, and the heavy reliance on LKS (student worksheets) with minimal use of instructional aids such as learning media. Additionally, the school had never used the spinning wheel media for teaching addition and subtraction. To address these issues, the researcher aimed to develop a spinning wheel learning medium for addition and subtraction material, enrich the available learning media at the school, and produce a learning medium that is valid, practical, and effective. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) approach, applying the ADDIE development model which consists of: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of this research and development process produced a teaching material in the form of a spinning wheel media for addition and subtraction, designed for Mathematics learning in Grade 1 at SDN 18 Sitiung. Validation was conducted by three validators. The teaching module validation test received a score of 80%, material validation 92%, media validation 85%, and language validation 100% all categorized as valid. In terms of practicality, the spinning wheel media received a score of 93% from teachers and 94% from students, classified as practical. The effectiveness test, conducted with 15 students using the developed spinning wheel media during learning, showed an average score of 86.66%, categorized as effective.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir komputasi diperlukan untuk beradaptasi dengan kecanggihan teknologi era society 5.0. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang pembelajaran literasi numerasi berbasis sastra Minangkabau untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir komputasional siswa. Penelitian Research and Development ini berdasarkan model Plomp. Instrumen penelitian meliputi instrumen validasi dan lembar angket praktikalitas. Analisis validitas dan analisis praktikalitas menjadi bagian dari teknik analisis data. Penelitian melibatkan validator ahli materi, ahli bahasa, ahli media, dan ahli desain. Uji praktikalitas melibatkan guru dan siswa di salah satu gugus di Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil validasi dari desain pembelajaran yaitu 90% dengan kategori sangat valid oleh ahli bahasa, 85% valid oleh ahli materi, 90% sangat valid oleh ahli media, dan 80% valid oleh ahli desain. Rata-rata praktikalitas berdasarkan respon guru dan siswa adalah 91,73% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Penelitian ini berhasil menghasilkan desain pembelajaran literasi numerasi berbasis sastra Minangkabau yang mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir komputasi siswa sekolah dasar. Computational thinking skills are needed to adapt to the technological sophistication of the Society 5.0 era. This study aims to design numeracy literacy learning based on Minangkabau literature to improve students' computational thinking skills.. This research is Research and Development study based on the Plomp model. The research instruments consist of a validation sheet and a practicality questionnaire. The data analysis methods employed in this study were validity analysis and practicality analysis. The research involved content expert validators, linguists, media experts, and design experts. The practicality test involved teachers and students in one cluster in Lima Puluh Kota Regency. The findings of the study indicate that the validation of the learning design created is 90% with a very valid category by linguists, 85% valid by content experts, 90% very valid by media experts, and 80% valid by design experts. The average practicality based on teacher and student responses is 91.73% with very paractical category. This research successfully produced a Minangkabau literature-based numeracy literacy learning design to improve elementary school students' computational thinking skills.
