Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon siswa SMK kelas X dalam  menyelesaikan soal masalah matematika berdasarkan level respon siswa. Respon itu sendiri adalah  tanggapan atau reaksi seorang individu atau kelompok yang telah diberi rangsangan sebelumnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa SMK kelas X. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik analisis data triangulasi. Teknik pengambilan subjek pada penelitian ini adalah dengan teknik purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Analisa data dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu data reduction, data display dan conclusion drawing / verification. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian secara umum respon siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal masalah matematika adalah sebagai berikut: Level respon siswa prastructural: Siswa dalam mengerjakan soal masalah matematika hanya menuliskan hal yang diketahui dari permasalahan matematika yang diberikan, Siswa tidak memahami masalah dan tidak tau apa yang harus dikerjakan, siswa menolak memberi jawaban. Level respon siswa Unistructural: siswa sudah memahami masalah dan sudah mengerti apa yang harus dikerjakan. Tetapi dalam menyelesaikan soal masalah matematika hanya menggunakan satu proses penyelesaian. Level respon siswa Multistructural: siswa sudah memahami masalah dan sudah mengerti apa yang harus dikerjakan, siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal masalah matematika menggunakan dua proses penyelesaian. Level respon yang telah dicapai oleh siswa di SMK TKM kelas X tersebut hanya sampai level respon Multistructural. Kata kunci: respon siswa, masalah matematika

Abstract

ABSTRACT   Hearing impairment children had difficulty in one of the language skill aspects i.e. reading comprehension which was resulted by the hearing impairment so it had impact to the language development. Reading comprehension ability had very important position because reading comprehension was the media to enlarge knowledge and add perception in enhancing intelligence. Hearing disorder experienced by the hearing impairment children could delay learning progress in the meaning of understanding the reading content. Based on the explanation above, this research had purpose to know the influence of DRTA strategy application toward reading comprehension ability to hearing impairment students of class VIII in SMPLB-B Karya Mulia Surabaya. The kind of research used was pre experiment using “the one group pre-test post-test design”. The subject in this research was hearing impairment students of class VIII in SMPLB-B Karya Mulia Surabaya numbering 6 students who had difficulty in reading comprehension. The data collection technique was collected by using test and observation. The intervention implication was done in 6 times meeting with the time allocation 3 x 40 minutes each meeting. The data analysis technique used statistic non parametric of wilcoxon match pair test. The data analysis result of Z value obtained from counting was 2,20 greater than Z table to critic value = 5% i.e. 1,96 so null hypothesis (Ho) was refused and work hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. The research conclusion was that there was significant influence of DRTA (Directed Reading Thinking Activity) strategy application toward reading comprehension ability to hearing impairment students of class VIII in SMPLB-B Karya Mulia Surabaya.   .   Keywords: Learning Strategy, reading comprehension.

Abstract

Translating cultural terms needs proper procedures since each of culture has linguistics elements to be expressed between one language to other ones. Problems then may appeared in understanding cultures. It should do not be a big deal, because understanding cultures of one language to other ones can be easily resolved by translation and its proper procedures. Qualitative approach with content analysis used in this study to observe (1) The Indonesian Cultural Terms which those are translated into English on the Jakarta Post’s (JP) Online News and (2) The translation procedures used in replacing the Indonesian Cultural Terms into English. Based on the data analysis, 21 cultural terms found in this study as the data. First, the translated Indonesian cultural terms into English on the JP’s Online News are categorized into material, ecology, habit and festival. Second, the translation procedures used in replacing Indonesian cultural terms found in this study are couplets, single procedures that have been used such as literal translation, transference or loan word plus explanation, and translation by a more general word. There are many studies applied to observe translation and cultures on artworks of literature or cultural terms in any object from English into Indonesian language. While this study also concerns on both issues, culture and translation but it represents Indonesian Cultural Terms translated into English and the translation procedures used in replacing the Indonesian cultural terms in order to at least acknoledging Indonesian cultures through news widely.

Abstract

Abstract The lecture method still dominates learning English at the junior high school level. Teaching English has many challenges because it has to develop the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. One of the various indicators of mastery of writing skills is that students must be able to write descriptive types. Students can achieve these skills effectively if the selection of learning models is done correctly. The researcher wanted to analyze the effect of the learning model using the Think Pair Share (TPS) and Three Minutes Review (TMR) models on students' writing skills, especially in the ability to write descriptive texts. In this study, researchers conducted experimental research. The research data is in the form of students' descriptive writing skills (Y) as a result of research on the treatment of the learning model (A) and reading habits (B). The conclusion obtained is that there is an interaction between the learning model used and reading habits on the learning outcomes of descriptive writing skills of private junior high school students in Central Jakarta. Where the TPS model is suitable for improving descriptive writing skills for students who have low reading habits and the TMR model is suitable for improving descriptive writing skills for students who have high reading habits. Abstrak Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di jenjang SMP sampai dengan saat ini masih didominasi dengan metode pengajaran ceramah. Mengajar Bahasa Inggris memiliki banyak tantangan, karena harus mengembangkan empat keterampilan mendengarkan, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Dari berbagai indikator penguasaan keterampilan menulis, salah satunya adalah siswa harus mampu menulis jenis deskriptif. Keterampilan tersebut dapat dicapai siswa secara efektif jika pemilihan model pembelajaran dilakukan dengan tepat. Peneliti ingin menganalisa pengaruh model pembelajaran menggunakan model Think Pair Share (TPS) dan Three Minutes Review (TMR) terhadap keterampilan menulis siswa, khususnya dalam kemampuan menulis teks deskriptif. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti melakukan penelitian eksperimen. Data penelitian berupa keterampilan menulis deskriptif siswa (Y) sebagai hasil penelitian perlakuan dari model pembelajaran (A) dan kebiasaan membaca (B). Kesimpulan yang didapat adalah terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran yang digunakan dengan kebiasaan membaca terhadap hasil belajar keterampilan menulis deskriptif siswa SMP Swasta di Jakarta Pusat. Dimana Model TPS cocok untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis deskriptif bagi siswa yang memiliki kebiasaan membaca rendah dan model TMR cocok untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis deskriptif bagi siswa yang memiliki kebiasan membaca tinggi.

Abstract

Abstract This Supervision Action Research has several objectives, including knowing that teacher coaching using the CLCK method can improve teachers' abilities in making 21st-century lesson plans at MI Diniyah Islamiyah, MI Istiqlal, and MI Karisma for the 2021/2022 Academic Year. The procedure carried out by the author in this PTKp uses a cycle with the implementation of two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation of action, observation or observation, and reflection. The variable that is the target of change in this Supervision Action Research is the Teacher's Ability to Make RPP K-13 and the action variable used is G CLCK Method. The subjects used for this research were MI class teachers in the target area of Central Jakarta 1, totaling 18 people in the odd semester of the 2022/2020 academic year. While the data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. From the results of cycle 1 regarding classroom teacher observations of making 21st Century lesson plans using the CLCK method it can be seen that out of 18 class teachers, 11 teachers or 61% obtained a completeness score of Adequate RPP, 7 people teacher or 39%got a good lesson plan completeness score and there were no class teachers who got a Very Good score with an average of 2.4 in the Enough category (C). In the improvement of Cycle 2, the observed value was above the KKM, namely reaching 3.6 with the predicate A/4 (Very Good) and completeness reaching 100% based on KKM B/3 (good) and the writer did not continue to cycle 3. By coaching teachers using the CLCK method at MI Diniyah Islamiyah, MI Istiqlal and MI Karisma for the 2021/2022 Academic Year, can improve the ability of class teachers in making 21st Century lesson plans. Abstrak Penelitian Tindakan Kepengawasan ini memiliki beberapa tujuan, diantaranya mengetahui pembinaan guru dengan menggunakan metode CLCK (Contoh, Latih, Coba dan Kembangkan) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam membuat RPP Abad 21 di MI Diniyah Islamiyah, MI Istiqlal dan MI Karisma Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Prosedur yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dalam PTKp ini menggunakan siklus dengan pelaksanaan dua siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri darai empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi atau pengamatan dan refleksi. Variabel yang menjadi sasaran perubahan dalam Penelitian Tindakan Kepengawasan ini adalah Kemampuan Guru Dalam Membuat RPP K-13 dan variabel tindakan yang digunakan adalah G Metode CLCK. Subjek yang dijadikan penelitian ini adalah guru kelas MI wilayah binaan Jakarta Pusat 1 yang berjumlah 18 orang pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2022/2020. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan dokumentasi. Dari data hasil siklus 1 tentang observasi guru kelas pembuatan RPP Abad 21 dengan menggunakan metode CLCK (Contoh, Latih, Coba dan Kembangkan), dapat terlihat bahwa dari 18 orang guru kelas,11 orang guru atau 61 % memperoleh nilai kelengkapan RPP Cukup, 7 orang guru atau 39 %memperoleh nilai kelengkapan RPP baik dan belum ada guru kelas yang memperoleh nilai Sangat Baik dengan rata-rata 2.4 kategori Cukup (C). Pada perbaikan Siklus 2 diperoleh nilai hasil observasi diatas KKM yaitu mencapai 3.6 dengan predikat A/4 (Sangat Baik) dan ketuntasan mencapai 100 % berdasarkan KKM B/3 (baik) dan peneliti tidak melanjutkan ke siklus 3. Dengan melakukan pembinaan guru menggunakan Metode CLCK (Contoh, Latih, Coba dan Kembangkan) di MI Diniyah Islamiyah, MI Istiqlal dan MI Karisma Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022, dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru kelas dalam membuat RPP Abad 21.

Abstract

Pelatihan merupakan bagian dari pendidikan nonformal yang tujuannya untuk menambah pengetahuan, ketrampilan dan perubahan sikap sehingga pekerjaan dapat diselesaikan dengan cepat dan efektif. Peserta pelatihan merupakan penyandang masalah kesejahteraan social (PMKS) yakni kelompok minoritas/ waria. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui dampak pelatihan tata rias terhadap keberdayaan waria di Kabupaten Jember. Penentuan tempat pada penelitian ini menggunakan purposive area, yakni di Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Jember. Teknik penentuan informan pada penelitian ini menggunakan snowball sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan perpanjangan keikutsertaan, ketekunan pengamatan, dan triangulasi. Analisis data menggunakan Miles dan Huberman meliputi: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa dampak pelatihan tata rias memberikan dampak positif terhadap peserta pelatihan, dampak berupa peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia, wirausaha dan kemandirian ekonomi. Dampak pelatihan tata rias terhadap keberdayaan waria di dukung dengan kesejahteraan dan partisipasi dalam mengembangkan masyarakat. Sehingga dengan adanya dampak pelatihan, dapat menjadikan peserta pelatihan yang mandiri dan berdaya dengan membuka usaha dan mengembangkan usaha di sektor kecantikan.

Abstract

This research explores the role of school principals in developing an inclusive learning environment at SMPN 1 Gringsing in Batang district. Inclusive education aims to provide equal learning opportunities for all students, including children with special needs. However, implementation in this school faces challenges such as limited disability-friendly facilities, lack of teacher training, and social stigma. A descriptive qualitative approach was used in this study, with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results show that principals have a strong commitment to inclusive education through strategies such as the formation of inclusion teams, curriculum modifications, and collaboration with parents and communities. Principals also play a pivotal role in fostering a supportive school culture by encouraging teachers to adopt inclusive practices and ensuring that students with special needs feel welcome and supported in their learning environment. However, limited resources and understanding are the main obstacles, hindering the full implementation of inclusive programs. This study recommends improving facilities, teacher training, effective communication with parents, and developing special programs to strengthen inclusive education. Additionally, partnerships with external organizations and local governments are crucial to providing technical and financial support for sustainable inclusive practices. Optimal implementation of inclusive education is expected to provide access to quality education for all students, including children with disabilities, in a regular school environment. This research provides a comprehensive picture of the principal's role in developing an inclusive learning environment and highlights the challenges and hopes for the future to improve the quality of education for all students.

Abstract

The role of PT Pindad in the national economy is often overlooked and considered to only contribute to the defense sector. However, PT Pindad has greater potential as a locomotive of the country’s economy. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of PT Pindad in increasing economic growth in Indonesia based on Biddle & Thomas’ role theory including Role Behavior, Role Conflict and Role Ambiguity. This research method is a qualitative description using literature review. The results showed that PT Pindad plays an important role in increasing national economic growth and other industrial sectors. There are complex dynamics in PT Pindad’s role behavior such as role conflict between business and defense missions. Role ambiguity arises due to dependence on government budgets. To achieve the independence of Indonesia’s defense industry, it is recommended that the government focus more on encouraging PT Pindad’s market expansion globally.
