Abstract

Mahasiswa sepanjang masa studinya di perguruan tinggi diharapkan untuk sukses dalam tiga hal, yaitu sukses akademik, sukses persiapan karir dan sukses sosial kemasyarakatan. Untuk mencapai ketiga sukses di atas mahasiswa harus memiliki motivasi, salah-satunya motivasi berprestasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan motivasi berprestasi mahasiswa Jurusan Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam (KPI) Fakultas Ushuluddin Adab dan Dakwah IAIN Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Semester II dan IV berjumlah 73 Orang. Penulis menggunakan teknik total sampling dalam menentukan jumlah sampel. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 73 Orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket yang mengungkapkan motivasi berprestasi mahasiswa, dimana hasil data yang diperoleh dari responden diolah dan dikategorikan ke dalam 5 kriteria kategori yaitu sangat tinggi (ST), tinggi (T), sedang (S), rendah (R), dan sangat rendah (SR). Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik persentase. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: sebanyak 37 responden atau sebesar 51% memiliki motivasi berprestasi yang tinggi (T), 34 responden atau sebesar 46% memiliki motivasi berprestasi yang sangat tinggi (ST), dan sebanyak 2 responden atau sebesar 3% memiliki Motivasi berprestasi dalam kategori sedang (S). Apabila dilihat dari nilai persentase rata-rata secara keseluruhan motivasi berprestasi mahasiswa KPI berada pada kategori tinggi (T) dengan nilai persentase rata-rata sebesar 78.4%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see how parents do daily interpersonal communication in guiding their children to learn online during the COVID-19 pandemic in Karang Tangah Pesisir Selatan Village. As long as learning is done online, parents feel the maximum in guiding their children to learn online, but in reality this is not the case. With the various responses that children see when learning online, parents try to guide their children in various ways and methods. This research is a field research using a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was collected by means of observation and interviews. The subjects in this study were 3 parents who were determined by purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that: First, in an informative approach, parents carry out interpersonal communication in guiding children to learn online related to online learning tasks given by the teacher every day through the whatsapp group. Second, parents have done it gently in a persuasive approach in guiding children to learn online. Third, at the stage of the instructive approach, parents try not to do anything that contains elements of coercion and violence against children or something that is threatening, punishing and physically taking because they don't want children to feel forced and burdened in online learning.

Abstract

Students' motivation is various and not sufficient, meanwhile Arabic is an obligation in the program of study PAI.This research determined the Arabic language learning motivation based school origins of the Islamic Education Study Program. The approach used is comparative quantitative. The population is 200 students. While data analysis used anova analaysis.The results found that the Arabic learning motivation of the students who graduated from Senior High Schools was categorized as moderate, S. The obtained percentage for this category was 70.62%. On the other hand, the students who graduated from Islamic Senior High School were categorized as high, T. The obtained percentage was 74.27%. The hypothesis test obtained a significant difference, indicated by the probability value of 0.017, lower than 0.05. The result asserted that guidance and counseling service was important to improve the Arabic learning motivation for the students of Islamic Study Program.

Abstract

Salah satu yang mempengaruhi stress mahasiswa dalam menyusun skripsi adalah dukungan sosial yang diterima mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Dukungan Sosial terhadap Stress Mahasiswa dalam Menyusun Skripsi di Fakultas Ushuluddin, Adab dan Dakwah IAIN Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Ushuluddin, Adab dan Dakwah IAIN Bukittinggi yang sedang menjalani proses penyusunan skripsi berjumlah 224 mahasiswa. Teknik penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Proportional Random Sampling dan diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 144 mahasiswa. Skala yang digunakan adalah skala dukungan sosial, hardiness dan stress yang disusun dan dikembangkan sendiri oleh peneliti. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif menggunakan mean hipotetic; untuk uji hipotesis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Terdapat pengaruh negatif dan signifikan dari variabel dukungan sosial (X) terhadap stress (Y) mahasiswa dalam menyusun skripsi dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0.02 < 0.05 dan nilai koefesien standardized coefficient (Beta) sebesar -0.270.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the number of LGBT cases that appear among teenagers motivates this research. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to find out how students understand about LGBT. This research is a quantitative research using a quantitative approach. Students from class X Madrasah Aliyah in the city of Padang were the subject of this study. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with criteria 1) students who did not live with their parents, and 2) students who had more friends of the same sex than those of different genders. The instrument used is a questionnaire on students’ understanding of LGBT and the Likert model scale. The data processing of this research used statistical fit analysis through the Rasch Model application and the t-test using the SPSS application. The results of the study show 1) The instruments used to measure students’ understanding of LGBT have good quality to be used in revealing students’ understanding of LGBT; 2) overall, students’ understanding of LGBT is in the pretty good category and a few students understand LGBT, which is in the low and good categories; and 3) There are differences in understanding of LGBT between male students and female students.

Abstract

ABSTRAKMasih lemahnya karakter gemar membaca mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan minimnya referensi mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan, sedikit sekali yang meminjam buku di perpustakaan dan mahasiswa lebih memilih bermain media sosial daripada membaca ebook atau artikel. Padahal, Pendidikan tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pengembangan pengetahuan, pendidikan mestinya juga meningkatkan budi pekerti (karakter), salah satunya karakter gemar membaca.  Untuk itu dalam penelitian ini ditawarkan model pembelajaran literasi untuk penguatan karakter gemar membaca mahasiswa. Dilihat dari hasil hipotesis angka probabilitas Asmyp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0.001 atau probabilitas di bawah alpha (0.000 < 0.05), dengan perbedaan rerata skor pretest dan posttest sebesar 8.611, H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak yang berarti terdapat peningkatan karakter gemar membaca mahasiswa UIN Bukittinggi setelah diberikan model pembelajaran literasi. ABSTRACTThe weak character of reading for students in tertiary institutions, this is indicated by the lack of student references in lectures, very few borrow books from the library and students prefer to use social media instead of reading ebooks or articles. In fact, education does not only function as the development of knowledge, education should also improve character (character), one of which is the character of liking to read. For this reason, this research offers a literacy learning model to strengthen students' fond of reading character. Judging from the results of the hypothesis probability number Asmyp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.001 or probability below alpha (0.000 <0.05), with a difference in the mean pretest and posttest scores of 8.611, H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected which means there is an increase in the reading character of UIN Bukittinggi students after being given a literacy learning model.

Abstract

The Arabic language is a compulsory course for all students of IAIN Bukittinggi. This lesson requires high learning motivation to achieve excellent learning outcomes. This research focused on the influences of gender differences on Arabic language course learning motivation. This research determined the Arabic course learning motivation differences based on gender among students in the Islamic Education (PAI) study program at the IAIN Bukittinggi. The researchers applied a quantitative comparative approach. The population comprises students in the Islamic Education study program at the IAIN Bukittinggi who are in the third semester. The participants consisted of 199 students. The researchers applied total sampling. The instrument used in this study was the learning motivation scale. The researchers analyzed the data with a hypothetical mean formula, while the hypothesis test was with the Analysis of Variance, ANOVA. The results showed that the male Arabic learning motivation was high, with a mean score of 130.3, while the female Arabic learning motivation was 126.4. The hypothesis test found a significant value of 0.277 lower than 0.5. The results indicated a significant difference between male and female Arabic language learning motivations. However, when looking at the overall average scores, the motivation of male students to learn Arabic is higher than female students. Based on the results of this study, it suggested that counselors provide Guidance and Counseling services, primarily focusing on indicators of self-reliance in learning Arabic. It is expected that with guidance and counseling services, students can enhance their motivation to learn Arabic, particularly in terms of self-reliance in learning.

Abstract

Abstract Motivation plays a significant role in education, as it encourages students to be diligent, industrious, enthusiastic in their learning, and to become individuals of high quality. However, at MDA Al-hidayah in Jorong Marambuang, there are still some students who lack enthusiasm and are somewhat lazy in their pursuit of Islamic education. This study aims to describe the importance of using the direct method to enhance the motivation of MDA Alhidayah Jorong Marambuang's students in learning Islamic religion. The research method employed is qualitative descriptive. The findings of this study illustrate that the implementation of the direct method has a significant positive impact on enhancing the motivation of the students. In this research, the students displayed increased enthusiasm, diligence, and zeal in studying Islam. The direct method appears to be successful in igniting their interest in religious education and encouraging them to be more dedicated in their pursuit of understanding Islam. These findings make a significant contribution in the context of religious education and the development of effective teaching methods. AbstrakMotivasi sangat berperan dalam pendidikan, dengan motivasi peserta didik akan tekun, rajin, bersemangat dalam belajar serta menjadi orang yang berkualitas. Namun pada MDA Al-hidayah Jorong Marambuangmasih ada santri yang malas-malasan serta kurang bersemangat dalam mempelajari agama Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang seberapa penting penggunaan metode langsung (direct method) untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar Agama Islam santri di MDA Alhidayah Jorong Marambuang. Metode yang digunakan adah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa penerapan metode langsung (direct method) memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar para santri. Dalam penelitian ini, para santri menunjukkan peningkatan dalam antusiasme, ketekunan, dan semangat mereka dalam mempelajari agama Islam. Metode langsung ini tampaknya berhasil membangkitkan minat mereka dalam pembelajaran agama dan mendorong mereka untuk lebih berdedikasi dalam mengejar pemahaman agama Islam. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam konteks pendidikan agama dan pengembangan metode pengajaran yang efektif.

Abstract

Self-understanding is an understanding of an individual's self to gain potential about himself, how he can recognize his potential, both physical and psychological potential, so that the student is able to understand the direction and purpose of his life. The aim of this research is to test the effectiveness of classical guidance services on the understanding of class VII.1 students at SMP Negeri 3 Bukittinggi. The researcher used a pre-experimental research method approach, one group pre-test post-test. The population in the research were all students in class VII.1 at SMP Negeri 3 Bukittinggi who did not yet fully understand themselves. The data analysis technique uses the Wilcoxon Rank Test. The instrument used is the questionnaire. Analysis of the Wilcoxom Rank Test shows that the value 0.00 is lower than 0.05. So it is concluded that the application of classical guidance services to the self-understanding of class VII.1 students at SMP Negeri 3 Bukittinggi is increasing and being provided effectively.

Abstract

This research starts from the existence of a phenomenon that occurs in students who carry out bullying behavior, such as students who like to bully weaker students, students who mock them with rude and dirty words, students who call them bad names and students who often isolate and degrade others. in public towards weaker friends. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of group guidance services in reducing bullying behavior at SMP Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. This research uses quantitative methods with one group pre-test and post test. The sample used by researchers was 8 students consisting of 4 students who were bullies and 4 more students who were exposed to bullying behavior at school. The instrument used in this research was a questionnaire. A questionnaire was developed to measure how much bullying behavior a student has. The data analysis technique uses the Wiloxon rank test. The results obtained in this study were a pretest score with a total score of 328 and a posttest score with a total score of 534, after the measurement scale was given and the results were very effective because the hypothesis was accepted, namely the Wilcoxon test results showed the Aaymp.sig value was 0.012, less than 0, 05 therefore there are differences in pretest and posttest scores in the application of group guidance services in reducing bullying behavior in students at SMP Negeri 2 Bukittinggi.
