Abstract

Tujuan dalam program ini adalah Meningkatkan pengetahuan guru tentang perubahan revolusi 4.0 menjadi 5.0., Meningkatkan pengetahuan guru tentang perkembangan literasi dan numerasi saat ini, Meningkatkan pengetahuan guru tentang tata kelola jurnal dan cara submit jurnal penelitian. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah dan secara online melalui zoom selama bulan November 2024 hingga Februari 2025. Hasil pada kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan guru secara umum tentang perkembangan literasi dan numerasi saat ini hingga mendorong bertambahnya publikasi guru di Indonesia.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the problem that the learning process on Indonesian Cultural Diversity material revealed a lack of media used by teachers; no additional media is used in the learning process, so that students do not show effectiveness in following the learning process; As a result, students' interest is very low and they feel bored in class. The aim of this research is to provide credible and useful pop-up book learning materials for science classes and science learning for Indonesian cultural diversity in grade 4 elementary school students. Analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation are the five steps of the ADDIE paradigm which are used in the form of studies known as research and development (R&D). The quantitative descriptive data analysis method used in the data analysis approach involves three validators, media experts, material experts and language experts who carry out data validity. Practicality data was collected from instructor answers and student questionnaire findings. This learning tool uses a questionnaire. Media experts got a score of 92.3%, material experts got a score of 87%, and language experts got a score of 85% in the validator assessment; as a consequence, they were approved and placed in the very valid category. Teacher reactions to the media were 88%, while large-scale test results were 93.3% and small-scale test results were 92%. It was determined that the use of pop-up books as a means of teaching science and scientific teaching related to the diversity of Indonesian culture for fourth grade elementary school children was very effective and useful.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh model pembelajaran guru yang masih menggunakan model ceramah dalam proses pembelajaran dan rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman siswa pada materi metamorfosis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model nested terhadap pemahaman peserta didik pada materi metamorfosis kelas IV SD Negeri 16 Toboali. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode “Quasi Experimental Design”. ( Nonequivalent Control Group Design ). Teknik dalam pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan sampling total. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 20 siswa kelas IV A dan 20 siswa kelas IV B. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa tes yang terdiri dari 10 soal tes materi metamorfosis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh pada pemahaman peserta didik pada materi metamorfosis antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Hal ini ditunjukkan pada hasil perhitungan uji Indepedent sample t- tes yang didapatkan thitung > ttabel yaitu thitung sebesar 3,90 dan ttabel 1,685, dari perhitungan tersebut nilai independent Ha diterima. Mengacu pada ketentuan pengambilan keputusan uji hipotesis tersebut di atas, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan adanya pengaruh model nested terhadap pemahaman peserta didik pada materi metamorfosis kelas IV SD Negeri 16 Toboali.

Abstract

The poor writing abilities of students are what inspired this research. This is due to several factors, including students still being classified as confused or unable to express their thoughts, as well as the lack of initiative of educators to use varied or collaborative methods. This study aims to determine whether the whole language learning method has an effect on writing skills in Indonesian language subjects in class IV SD Negeri 52 Pangkalpinang. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with the Quasi experiment method (pseudo experiment) and a research design of a nonequivalent control group. The sampling technique used in this study was the saturated sampling technique, meaning that all populations were included as samples. The sample in this study was class IV, consisting of a control class of 20 students and an experimental class of 20 students. The data collection technique given is the assessment of work (product). The data analysis techniques used are the normality test using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, the homogeneity test using the Levene test, and the hypothesis test using the Independent-Sample Test. Based on the results of the study, the data from the hypothesis test shows a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.043 ˂ 0.05. This shows that Ha is accepted, which means that the whole language learning method has an effect on writing skills in Indonesian language subjects in Class IV SD Negeri 52 Pangkalpinang.

Abstract

Practical difficulties often hinder students' understanding of simple electrical circuits. Confirmative practicums limit creativity as they do not provide opportunities for students to explore experiments independently. Furthermore, traditional practicums fail to accommodate diverse conceptual levels, including high and low electrical flow comprehension. To address these challenges, this study aimed to develop a virtual lab supplemented with an alternative solution worksheet for teaching simple electrical circuits to elementary school students. The research employed the Alessi & Trollip development model, encompassing three stages: planning, designing, and developing. Each stage involved continuous evaluations to ensure the quality of the developed product. Data collection methods included observations, interviews, and questionnaires, with validation performed by material and media experts. Data analysis utilized qualitative descriptive techniques to assess the product's effectiveness. The results indicated that the material validation test achieved an average score classified as "very good," with a percentage of 85.00%. Similarly, media validation results demonstrated an average percentage of 80.11%, also categorized as "very good." The implementation of the virtual lab showed significant improvements in students' understanding, as reflected in their test scores. The average pre-test score was 31.63, which increased substantially to an average post-test score of 70.51. These findings suggest that the virtual lab, combined with alternative solution worksheets, effectively enhances students' conceptual understanding and creativity in learning simple electrical circuits. This approach offers a promising alternative to traditional practicums for improving science education in elementary schools.

Abstract

Community service with a beginner community service scheme carries out outreach activities regarding Classpointi application training for teachers in the independent elementary school learning curriculum. This service is motivated by the lack of ability of STKIP MBB elementary school teachers in using interactive applications to deal with the independent learning curriculum. Therefore, socialization and education activities on the Classpoint application were held for teachers in the independent elementary school learning curriculum. The solution carried out in this service is through the initial observation stage or situation analysis regarding the teacher's understanding and abilities towards interactive applications, the service planning stage, the service implementation stage in the form of classpoint application training for teachers in the independent learning curriculum, precisely implemented at STKIP MBB Elementary School, Pangkalan Baru District, Regency Central Bangka, and the evaluation stage took the form of question and answer activities and guided exercises. The results of community service with socialization and educational activities on the Classpoint application for teachers in the independent primary school learning curriculum can be described in detail according to the stages that have been implemented. These stages include, 1) needs assessment; 2) presentation of material; 3) mentoring; and 4) evaluation.

Abstract

This activity was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of training in enhancing student skills, particularly in media innovation and learning methods, during the Merdeka Curriculum era. The primary issue arising from the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum is the need for educators to be more creative in developing teaching modules, learning flows, and learning objectives, ensuring that lesson plans are prepared thoughtfully and effectively. This community service program is designed for 350 students in the Elementary School Teacher Education Undergraduate Program at Muhammadiyah University of Bangka Belitung, aiming to enhance their knowledge and capacity in designing innovative learning experiences at the elementary school level. The training method is conducted through three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the community service have shown that the training has a significant impact on improving the skills of participants in each observation semester. In Semester 2, skills increased from 50 to 80 (60%); in Semester 4, from 40 to 85 (112.5%); in Semester 6, from 30 to 90 (200%); and in Semester 8, from 45 to 88 (95.6%). The most significant improvement occurred among participants with low initial abilities, demonstrating the significant benefits this group gained from the training. Overall, the training proved effective in improving students' cognitive abilities, as evidenced by the pretest and posttest results. These findings demonstrate that the community service program consistently has a positive impact on preparing students to meet the demands of learning innovation under the Independent Curriculum.
