Abstract

Gaya belajar merupakan suatu kombinasi dari bagaimana ia menyerap, kemudian mengatur serta mengolah informasi. gaya belajar bukan hanya berupa aspek ketika menghadapi informasi, melihat, mendengar, menulis dan berkata tetapi juga aspek pemrosesan informasi sekunsial, analitik. Aspek lain adalah ketika merespon sesuatu atas lingkungan belajar (diserap secara abstrak dan konkret). Secara umum gaya belajar mahasiswa pascasarjana PAUDI IAIN Samarinda diurutkan dari persentase (%) yang terbesar yaitu, gaya belajar mandiri sebesar 31.88%, gaya belajar bersaing 20.93%, gaya belajar partisipan 18.53 %, gaya belajar berkelompok 16.13 %, gaya belajar ketergantungan sebesar 11.20 % dan gaya belajar menyendiri 1.33 %.Secara khusus berdasarkan indikator yang telah dikemukakan (lihat tabel ) persentase (%) yang besar hingga melebihi 50% yaitu gaya belajar “berkelompok”, sebesar 64%” pada saat mahasiswa belajar di kelas secara umum. Lalu gaya belajar “bersaing” digunakan sebesar 58 % pada saat menghadapi ujian mahasiswa dan 56 % pada saat mengolah informasi. Selanjutnya sebesar 54 % menggunakan gaya belajar “mandiri” dalam menerima informasi. Sedangkan di bawah 50 % mahasiswa menggunakan gaya belajar lainnya seperti 44 % gaya belajar partisipan.

Abstract

Penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning pada masa pandemi covid-19 merupakan salah satu tindakan yang diambil oleh para guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran SBdP dimasa pandemi, penerapan model pembelajaran ini diawalai dengan pembuatan RPP, penyampaian materi ajar melaui video, pemberian tugas proyek, kemudian menentukan batas waktu pengerjaan dan jenis proyek, setelah itu peserta didik melakukan presentasi dari hasil tugas proyek, kemudian guru melakukan evaluasi pembelajaran secara online, dalam penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning ditemukan beberapa faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat baik itu dari guru ataupun peserta didik itu sendiri. Berdasarkan penelitian telah diketahui penerapan model pembelajarn project based learning pada mata pelajaran SBdP materi karya seni rupa kelas III di SDIT Ma’arif Sepaku Penajam Paser Utara pada masa pandemi covid-19 dilakukan melalui whatsapp group dan youtube, penyampaian materi pembelajaran melalui video pembelajaran kemudian memberikan tugas berbasis proyek dan dikumpulkan melalui foto setelah itu dikumpulkan melalui whatsapp group. Permasalahn yang terjadi yang dialami guru adalah kurangnya pengetahuan terhadapan pengelolaan teknologi, waktu dalam persiapan pembelajaran online. Kemudian permasalahan yang dialami peserta didik adalah biaya dalam penyelesaian tugas proyek, kurangnya sarana (handepone) yang dimiliki peserta didik. Dalam penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning pada mata pelajaaran SBdP kelas III di SDIT Ma’arif Sepaku Penajam Paser Utara guru mengawali dengan pembuatan RPP dan video pembelajaran kemudian menyampaikan materi pembelajaran melalui video tersebut setelah itu memberika tugas proyek dengan tema yang tela ditentukan sebelumnya kemudian melakukan presentasi hasil dan evaluasi secara umum yang dilakukan oleh guru, dalam hal ini ditemukan juga beberapa faktor penghambat yakni biaya dalam penyelesaian tugas proyek, sarana hamdpone bagi peserta didik, faktor pendukung kesiapan guru, antusias peserta didik, sarana prasarana, media pembelajaran.

Abstract

The Bajau people, an indigenous group residing along the shores of the archipelago, primarily in Borneo and Celebes Islands, perceive their religiosity differently from other land-based or maritime societies. This paper aims to explore the dimensions of religiosity among the Bajau Samah in Kotabaru, South Kalimantan. This ethnographic research involved researchers participating in the community’s religious-cultural activities, such as the Ma’dupa and Menyurung rituals. The findings reveal that the Bajau Samah are inseparable from their sea and ancestors. These elements are not only their sources of livelihood and wisdom but also crucial ‘figures’ that shape their religiosity. Their experiences and thought processes regarding the sea and their ancestors manifest in various forms: religious feeling, religious belief, religious knowledge, religious practice, and religious effect. This study argues that while adat (customary law) and religion (Islam) are distinct domains, they collectively constitute the religiosity of the Bajau Samah, as evidenced in Kotabaru.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan mengkaji korelasi keberagamaan (X) dan kompetensi kepemimpinan (Y) dari guru pendidikan agama Islam SMAN Samarinda (selanjutnya ditulis gpai) dalam menanamkan nilai Islam rahmatan lil ‘alamin kepada warga sekolah. Ada 2 model orientasi keberagamaan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini, yaitu model orientasi keberagamaan intrinsik dan model orientasi keberagamaan ekstrisik. Sedangkan kompetensi kepemimpinan gpai terdiri atas 3 aspek utama, yaitu aspek pemahaman, aspek manajemen pelaksananaan,  dan aspek sikap dalam penanaman nilai demokratis, nilai toleransi, nilai humanis, dan nilai multi-kultural. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk mix methods kuantitatif-kualitatif model kombinasi (concurrent trianggulation) dengan 40 gpai yang tersebar pada 17 SMAN Samarinda sebagai responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa data yang diperoleh memenuhi standar pengujian korelasi: nilai masing2 validitas > 0,2573 (df 38), reliabilitas dengan nilai >0,425, dan uji normalitas berdasarkan nilai Sig.0,816>0,05. Uji korelasi sederhana (X dan Y) menghasilkan perhitungan sebesar 0.280>r tabel 0,2638, sedangkan uji korelasi ganda dari model orientasi keberagamaan (X1,X2 dan Y) adalah sebesar 0,403>r tabel 0,263, dan korelasi dari beberapa dimensi model orientasi keberagamaan intrinsik  (X1.a, X1.b, dan Y) adalah sebesar  0,547> r tabel 0,263. Dan untuk korelasi dari dimensi model orientasi keberagamaan ekstrinsik (X2.a, X2.b, X2.c, X2.d, dan Y) adalah sebesar 0,314>r tabel 0,267. Berdasarkan analisis uji Sig.diketahui bahwa terdapat korelasi signifikan antara keberagamaan dan kompetensi kepemimpinan gpai dalam menanamkan nilai Islam rahmatan lil’alamin kepada warga SMAN se Kota Samarinda. Bahkan korelasi model orientasi keberagamaan intrinsik, yaitu  dimensi keyakinan dan dimensi pengalaman menunjukkan angka paling kuat tingkat korelasinya dengan kompetensi kepemimpinan gpai, yaitu sebesar 0,547 yang berarti > dari kriteri r table (df 38 = 0,2638) dan berkontribusi sebesar 29.92% terhadap kompetensi kepemimpinan dan sisanya 70.08% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar variabel tersebut.

Abstract

A quality of lecturer is directed as a preparation of the profesional educational workers who have a broad knowledge, master on their field, able to manage and improve their profesionalisme, and able to administer the teaching skills. Ideally, a quality lecturer is able to implement three stages in teaching and learning process, they are : planning, implementation, and evaluation. The policy of Dean of STAIN Samarinda, to oblige the lecturers make a teaching plan in the form of course outline and lesson plan, is a real action to improve the quality of targetted teaching. A qualified lecturer should have a skill in planning a teaching process. A teaching plan can be developed based on the organization of teaching plan.

Abstract

Criterion Referenced Grading (CRG), where grading is determined based on the absolute standard, it is very good or very compatible to be applied in formative tests where lecturers want to find out to what extend the students “have been formed/shaped”. after joining courses in the certain period. CRG is oriented based on success standard or passing grade which is certain. By applying CRG, lecturers can find out number of the students who have high, moderate, and low level of mastery. Therefore, the lecturer can do required efforts to achieve instructional objective optimally.

Abstract

In order to improve Islamic education teachers’ competence in East Kalimantan, quality improvement program has been conducted to both teachers and also non teachers (administration) of Islamic education in East Kalimantan. The training was conducted by Education Development Agency (LPTK) STAIN Samarinda, East Kalimantan. The expectation to have qualified teachers in Islamic education has to be hand in hand with instructors’ competence of the training. Qualified and skillful trainers can be a good reference for the participants to teach Islamic education to their students. Otherwise, participants will not obtain any specific skill related to Islamic education. The impact is there is no any change of instructional paradigm done by teachers. In general, trainers/instructors’ competence in the training (DIKLAT) held by STAIN Samarinda October 2011 can be classified in high level. It is indicated by score of 85, 6 which is taken from various variables; accomplishment target of the courses, material appropriateness, instructional method, process, and motivation.

Abstract

This study is meant to examine the thesis quality of students of English Department at IAIN Samarinda. Through the descriptive-quantitative research, the thesis quality of students of English Department at IAIN Samarinda is reviewed from the aspects of language, structure, concepts understanding, theoretical framework, methodology, content, writing mechanism, and references used. This study also tries to figure out any factors that affect the thesis quality of English Department students. Fourteen English Department Students’ thesis tested in 2013 are used as the main data. In addition, other data are obtained from respondents i.e. 19 students, and informants i.e. lecturers of English Department who are also their thesis advisors. The result shows that the average score of thesis written by 14 English Department students at IAIN Samarinda academic year of 2013 is 3.16 which is in the range of 2.61-3.40 scale, which is quite good quality. This quality is relevant with the informants’ perceptions about the quality of thesis written by their students. Judging from some aspects, they assume that their students are able to write a good quality of thesis with an average score of 2.81 which is at a scale of 2.61-3.40. The quality is affected by internal factors and external factors. The most decisive internal factor is the respondents’ low score of writing with appropriate and acceptable structure in English. This is the effect of respondents’ lack of ability of composing adequate paragraphs in English. Meanwhile, the most concerning external factor is the quality of learning structure course and the professionalism of the informants in guiding the students to improve their writing ability in thesis writing.

Abstract

Moral education plays a crucial role in shaping an individual's personality, behavior, and spiritual awareness. This process is continuous and serves as a guide for living in accordance with ethical values. These values are not only conveyed through formal education but are also reflected in literary works that embody Islamic moral teachings. One such work is Ayah… Kisah Buya Hamka by Irfan Hamka, which presents real-life stories rich in moral and religious values. This study aims to explore the moral education values reflected in the book based on Islamic ethical principles. A qualitative approach was employed using a literature review method. Data were collected through documentation and analyzed using content analysis techniques. The findings reveal six main categories of moral education: (1) Morality towards God, including piety, sincerity, and positive thinking (ḥusn al-ẓann); (2) Morality towards the Prophet, through the habitual recitation of blessings (ṣalawāt); (3) Morality towards oneself, involving honesty and courage; (4) Morality towards others, such as filial piety, helping others, and forgiveness; (5) Morality towards the nation, including patriotism and loyalty; and (6) Morality towards the environment, such as kindness to animals. These results indicate that Islamic-themed literary works can serve as effective media for instilling and reinforcing moral values in daily life.
