Abstract

This study aims to determine the planning of training to increase the ability of girls and women in the context of learning about the Police organization in the National Police Formation Education program at the SPN Polda West Java. To find out the implementation of improving the ability of girls and girls in the context of learning about the Police organization in the National Police Formation Education program at the SPN Polda West Java. To describe the results of improving the ability of girls and girls in the context of learning the Polri organization in the National Police NCO Formation Education program at the SPN Polda West Java, this research uses a case study research base and a qualitative descriptive type of research. Determination of informants is done by purposive sampling, which is chosen intentionally with the consideration that the selected informants are considered capable of providing the required information. The results of this study prove that the organization directs to whom members of the organization interact and communicate so that it is not considered wrong (ethically and disciplined) both in attitude and behavior, especially in person to person relationships. On the other hand, it also has a relationship and is interrelated, namely influencing the management of the organization that appears in the form of decisions, policies and directives, both written and verbal. This organizational training encourages orderly learning management because apart from keeping open the pattern of two-way communication, discussion and dialogue, it also includes criticism, input and suggestions. However, organizational training requires that communication be formally guided by certain ethics, procedures and procedures

Abstract

The equal education program is designed to expand access to educational services for the community in order to improve the quality of human resources with character. PKBM Ash-Shoddiq as a provider of equal education that grows from, by and for the community contributes to producing graduates with character. The aim of this research is to describe data regarding the application of character values in the equality education program at PKBM Ash-Shoddiq. The theoretical study used is the concept of character education and equality education programs. The research approach used is a qualitative approach with a case method. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, literature study, documentation and observation. The research subjects were managers, tutors, learning residents and the foundation's board of trustees. The research results show that the application of character values in the equality education program is carried out in an integrated and holistic manner that combines character values and life skills education. The character values that are built are politeness, healthy lifestyle, independence, usefulness, having work and filial piety, where in the holistic-integration approach, the tutor's competence in developing the character and life skills of students is not separated from their competence in teaching academic subjects. On the contrary, both are considered an integral part of the tutor's responsibility in forming individuals with integrity and potential. The researcher concluded that this approach recognizes the importance of developing the character of students in a balanced manner with the mastery of academic knowledge and life skills.

Abstract

This study aims to: determine the planning of student life regulations (perdopsis) in the formation of mental leadership for the formation of the National Police NCO at SPN Polda West Java, find out the implementation of student life regulations (perdopsis) in the formation of mental leadership in education for the formation of the National Police NCO at SPN Polda West Java. , regulation of student life (perdupsis) in the formation of mental leadership in education for the formation of the National Police NCO at the SPN Polda West Java. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The technique used to collect data is using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Checking data using triangulation and member check. The result of this research is that the mental formation of student leadership provides a way for the NCO students to be able to build the foundation of leadership character in the field, the experience gained is in the form of additional characters in building other characters in the form of characters to be religious, honest, tolerant, disciplined in time, able to to learn independently, have a fairly high curiosity, be able to communicate and tolerate well and be able to take responsibility for what is obtained and carried out in the field.

Abstract

Family parenting on the social emotional development of children in the Polri family environment, the purpose of this study is to find out how the parenting pattern in the Polri family environment and to find out whether family parenting has an impact on children's social relationships outside the dormitory. In accordance with the objectives that have been formulated, the population in this study is 10 Polri families who live in the West Java Police SPN dormitory. The author took samples using purposive sampling, amounting to 6 families. The data collection instruments of this research were in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. In analyzing the data using a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the research on parenting patterns on the social emotional development of children in the Polri family are 64.96%, so it is categorized in the Good Parenting Pattern in the Police Family. The parenting style applied in the police family is the Democratic Parenting Pattern. The impact of Parenting on children's social relations outside the dormitory which is dominantly carried out by children of Polri families is that they are dominant in being polite to their elders, giving smiles to friends who greet, and greeting each other when they meet each other. From this categorization, it shows that the impact of family parenting on children's socio-emotional social development is included in the Good category.

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk melaksanakan pelatihan kepemimpinan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berorganisasi pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) 3 Garut. Latar belakang pengabdian ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan akan persiapan siswa untuk menghadapi tuntutan zaman yang semakin kompleks, di mana kemampuan berorganisasi dan kepemimpinan yang efektif menjadi kunci untuk kesuksesan masa depan. Teori kepemimpinan dan pengembangan diri digunakan sebagai landasan teoritis untuk mendukung kegiatan ini. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini melibatkan serangkaian kegiatan pelatihan kepemimpinan yang meliputi materi tentang komunikasi efektif, manajemen waktu, pengambilan keputusan, dan kerjasama tim. Peserta pelatihan terdiri dari siswa SMK 3 Garut. Pelatihan dilakukan dalam bentuk workshop interaktif yang melibatkan diskusi kelompok, permainan peran, dan latihan simulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan kepemimpinan di era milenial telah memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan bagi siswa SMK 3 Garut. Peserta pelatihan mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan percaya diri mereka dalam berbagai aspek kepemimpinan dan kemampuan berorganisasi. Selain itu, hubungan tim di antara peserta juga terbukti menguat sebagai hasil dari pelatihan ini. Berdasarkan temuan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan kepemimpinan di era milenial merupakan langkah yang efektif dalam mempersiapkan siswa SMK 3 Garut untuk menghadapi tantangan di masa depan sebagai pemimpin yang kompeten dan bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan hasil dari pola pengasuhan dalam pembentukan kepribadian siswa Diktuk Bintara Polri di SPN Polda Jawa Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SPN Polda Jawa Barat dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 40 orang informan, yang terdiri dari 2 orang pengasuh dan 38 orang siswa Diktuk Bintara Polri. Partisipan dipilih secara purposive sampling dengan pertimbangan urgensi informasi dan posisi informan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar pertanyaan wawancara. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif yang mencakup transkip hasil wawancara, reduksi data, analisis, interpretasi data, dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap perencanaan dilakukan serangkaian kegiatan, yaitu pemilihan pengasuh dan pelaksanaan sertifikasi pengasuh, pelatihan peningkatan kualitas pengasuh, mempersiapkan sarana prasarana yang menunjang kegiatan pendidikan, serta membuat rencana kegiatan pola pengasuhan. Pada tahap pelaksanaan para pengasuh melaksanakan rencana kegiatan pola pengasuhan dengan memberikan perintah, reward, dan punishment pada siswa guna mengubah karakter siswa dari civil society menjadi civillian police dan menumbuhkan kesadaran pada siswa untuk senantiasa berperilaku baik. Selain itu, para pengasuh pun harus memberikan contoh dan menjadi teladan selaku insan bhayangkara, mengawasi pelaksanaan kegiatan siswa, serta mengevaluasi kegiatan pola pengasuhan dan peran pengasuh. Untuk hasil dari pola pengasuhan yang dilakukan oleh para pengasuh memberikan perubahan yang lebih baik pada kepribadian siswa dilihat dari aspek nilai akademik, mental kepribadian, dan kesehatan jasmani siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pola pengasuhan dalam pembentukan kepribadian siswa Diktuk Bintara Polri di SPN Polda Jawa Barat telah sesuai dengan tujuan pengasuhan yang tercantum dalam Keputusan Kepala Lembaga Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Polri Nomor Kep/431/VII/DIK.1.1/2019 tentang Pedoman Pengasuhan, Pengenalan Lingkungan, dan Pembinaan Tradisi Peserta Pendidikan Pembentukan Polri.

Abstract

Single parents are people who raise their children alone, without help from their parents. They have significant responsibilities when it comes to raising their family. Single-parent families have more serious problems than single-parent families. This is largely due to the need for extra care and attention to ensure that the child is not abused in any situation. This research uses qualitative methodology. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling, namely samples selected with certain considerations and objectives. Research findings show that very few solitary parents raise their children according to their own wishes. Therefore, the way one presents oneself to others has a significant impact on a child's behavior. If the way they present themselves to others is not appropriate, children can become introverted or extroverted. There are several types of parenting styles that parents can give to children, namely as follows: (1) Democratic Parenting Pattern (2) Authoritarian Parenting Pattern (3) Permissive Parenting Pattern.

Abstract

Community participation is a key factor in the success of community education, especially in non-formal education units such as Community Learning Centers (PKBM). This study aims to analyze the level, form, and factors that influence community participation in the implementation of community education at the Geger Sunten PKBM, Suntenjaya Village, Lembang District, West Bandung Regency. The study uses a mixed method approach with a sequential explanatory design. Quantitative data were obtained through questionnaires administered to 45 learners, while qualitative data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that the level of community participation is in the medium to high category, with participation predominantly occurring at the program implementation stage. The main factors influencing participation include program relevance, management leadership, and community social support. Qualitative findings reinforce that participation is not yet fully substantive because involvement in planning and evaluation is still limited. This study concludes that strengthening community participation requires empowerment strategies based on local needs and a sustainable collaborative approach.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui respon peserta terhadap pelatihan sekaligus menilai efektivitas pelatihan pembuatan rengginang sebagai upaya meningkatkan pendapatan wanita tani di Kampung Ngamprah Hilir RT 3 RW 7, Desa Sukatani. Latar belakang penelitian berangkat dari kondisi sosial ekonomi wanita tani yang umumnya belum mampu mengelola hasil panen menjadi produk olahan dengan nilai jual lebih tinggi, sehingga pendapatan keluarga masih terbatas. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode campuran dengan desain Explanatory Sequential yang memadukan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket dan wawancara terhadap 10 peserta pelatihan. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada konsep pelatihan dan peningkatan pendapatan sebagai indikator utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan respon positif dari peserta terhadap aspek materi, kualitas sumber daya, metode penyediaan, fasilitas, dan partisipasi. Namun pelatihan tersebut belum efektif sepenuhnya karena tidak berdampak signifikan pada peningkatan pendapatan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pelatihan berpengaruh langsung pada peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan, namun pengaruh terhadap pendapatan bersifat tidak langsung dan memerlukan tindak lanjut lebih lanjut yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a conflict resolution training model assisted by the WhatsApp application to improve the conflict management skills of Karang Taruna members in Majalengka Regency. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) adapted from Borg & Gall with eight stages and involving 42 Karang Taruna members. Data were collected through interviews, expert validation, practicality questionnaires, and pre-test and post-test tests, then analyzed qualitatively descriptively and quantitatively using paired sample t-test assisted by SPSS. The results showed that the model was declared valid (categorized as feasible), practical based on the improvement of all indicators in limited and broad trials, and effective with a significant increase in pre-test to post-test scores (p < 0.05) and a medium N-Gain category (0.50). This improvement was influenced by the structured training design, the use of contextual case studies, reflective discussions based on WhatsApp groups, and flexible access that allowed for active and repeated participation. Participant responses ranged from good to excellent. The novelty of the study lies in the integration of WhatsApp as a systematic conflict resolution training medium within youth organizations. These findings confirm that WhatsApp has the potential to be an adaptive training medium for improving community-based conflict management competencies.
