Abstract

Red betel is a plant that has many benefits as a medicinal plant, red betel plant is a source of traditional medicinal ingredients that are widely used from generation to generation. some antiseptics inhibit growth against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. The research stages used included the collection and processing of samples, the characteristics of simplicia, phytochemical screening, the manufacture of ethanol extracts by maceration using 96% ethanol solvent, and the antibacterial activity test using the agar diffusion method using a paper barrier against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus by measuring the zone diameter. inhibit bacterial growth. The results of the examination of the characteristics of the red betel leaf simplicia powder showed total ash content of 9.65%, acid insoluble ash content of 1.20%. The results of the phytochemical screening examination contained chemical compounds of the phlovonoid group, saponin tannins, and triterpenoid streroids. The ethanol extract of red betel leaf has antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aereus. The results of the antibacterial activity test for the ethanol extract of red betel leaf against Escherichia coli bacteria obtained KHM 100 mg/ml with a diameter of 25 mm from Staphylococcus gereus and obtained KHM 100 mg/ml with a diameter of 28 mm.

Abstract

In this Final Project a submersible pump type pump has been applied. From the data pump the capacity is 27.10 l / sec. The pump head is 14.62 m based on calculations in the field. By using empirical equations, we can determine the main parameters of pump planning, namely specific speed, pressure loss on the pipe wall, length, diameter and type of pipe, the number and type of pipe accessories used.By conducting research and measurements on the field obtained a 6 inch pipe diameter, Ci type and 1260 meter pipe length using Hazen William formula and continuity of flow and pressure loss along the pipe (loss head friction) and pressure loss (minor loss head) is 20.50 meters.

Abstract

The quality of services provided by the house greatly affects the image of the hospital and the satisfaction of patients who visit the hospital. One of the factors that plays a role in the quality of hospital services is the evaluation of the management of drug supplies in the hospital. Evaluation of drug supply governance is necessary to prevent drug shortages (stock out), drug excess (over stock), and drug vacancies in a limited manner. There has been a drug vacuum in the trading hospital due to an increase in the number of patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the evaluation of drug supply management in the Pharmacy Warehouse of the Trade Simalungun District Hospital. This type of research is descriptive research with an observational approach. In this study, there was a source of information, namely from the Head of the Pharmacy Installation. The results showed that the evaluation of drug supply management in the pharmaceutical warehouse of the Simalungun District Hospital of Commerce was quite effective, but there are several factors that can affect drug vacancies. This can be seen from several components of Input (especially the storage warehouse which is less representative), Process (inconsistency with the use of preparations, inaccurate planning, changing room temperatures affecting existing supplies, resulting in damaged and expired supplies) and Output. (As needed). It is expected that the Head of the Pharmacy Installation of the Simalungun District Hospital for Trade will pay more attention to the planning and procurement of drugs to minimize forgotten preparations and avoid expired drugs. Abstract

Doctors carry out their duties as health service providers, doctors will not be separated from things called prescriptions. Prescription is the final embodiment of physician competence in medical care. A good prescription should contain enough information to enable the pharmacist concerned to understand what drug is to be given to the patient. The aim was to find out the completeness of prescriptions at the Petatal Health Center in accordance with PMK No. 74 of 2016. The research was descriptive in nature, with random data collection and observing incoming recipes during the January-December 2018 period written by doctors. Administrative screening was carried out on 384 doctor's prescriptions by filling in the data collection table, according to the completeness aspect of the prescription being reviewed.
