Abstract

Jambi University is one of the State Universities in Indonesia which is currently in the phase of sustainable development which is currently focusing on increasing development, especially water resource infrastructure. Planning for water reservoirs with reinforced concrete is an option in long-term infrastructure planning. The planned reservoir is in the form of a reservoir that functions as a container for storing clean water in the water treatment system at the Jambi University. Planning focuses on the design of the capacity and structural elements of the reinforced concrete reservoir. Planning refers to ACI-350M using the LRFD method, as well as SNI 7509:2011. The reservoir capacity is planned according to (Al-Layla et al., 1977)at 39% of the maximum water discharge, and the structural elements of the reservoir are planned in the form of beams, columns, upper, lower plates and walls. Based on the design, the reservoir capacity is 216 m3 with a length of 12 m, a width of 6 m and a height of 3.5 m. In planning the structural elements used concrete quality 21 MPa with the type of reinforcement BJTP-28. Based on the design results, the column size is 20 cm x 20 cm with 4D12 reinforcement details, then for beam sizes 30 cm x 20 cm using 4D12 for tensile reinforcement and 3D12 for compression reinforcement, and for plates using a thickness of 150 cm with reinforcement details D12-150 for top plate and D12-200 for bottom plate and wall plate.

Abstract

Jambi City is the capital city of Jambi Province as the center of government, education, business and trade. As a city center, it will certainly continue to develop. The mobility of the people certainly increases and causes movement, and the population continues to increase. Impact on increasing community economic and socio-cultural movements as well as community movement activities by transportation vehicles on road traffic. The operation of the trans Siginjai bus transportation mode with the aim of making it easier for people to reach places in urban areas and the buffer areas of the city of Jambi. The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristics of travellers and the choice of modes to determine the probability/potential demand (Demand) of trans siginjai by using the attributes of cost, travel time, waiting time, frequency of departure and level of comfort with stated preference method using 4 scenarios. Based on the results of the research, the probability/potential (Demand) of trans siginjai in scenario 1 is 79.7%, while private cars are 20.3%. In scenario 2, trans siginjai is 70.4% while private cars are 29.6%. In scenario 3 trans siginjai is 72.3% while private cars are 27.7%. In scenario 4, trans siginjai is 67.2% while private cars are 32.8%. From all the attributes of the transportation mode scenario, the probability/potential of the trans siginjai is greater than that of a private car and also from the 4 scenarios, the percentage of scenario 1 is greater than the other scenarios.

Abstract

Jalan merupakan prasarana transportasi darat yang memiliki peranan penting dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat untuk mobilisasi dari satu daerah ke daerah yang lain. Berdasarkan data dari P2JN Provinsi Sumatera Barat untuk ruas Jalan Kamarullah, kota Padang Panjang mengalami peningkatan jalan pada tahun 2017 dengan umur rencana 10 tahun. Pada ruas jalan ini banyak ditemukan kerusakan salah satunya akibat beban berlebih, karena banyaknya terjadi kerusakan pada ruas jalan yang diteliti maka disimpulkan bahwa jalan tersebut mengalami penurunan umur rencana atau kerusakan dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh beban kendaraan terhadap sisa umur (remaining life) perkerasan jalan pada Jalan Kamarullah. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode AASHTO 1993 berupa analisis kumulatif ESAL 10 tahun rencana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada ruas Jalan Kamarullah ini mengalami penurunan umur rencana selama 2,581 tahun. Diperoleh nilai ESAL kumulatif rencana sebesar 10625289,3 dan nilai ESAL kumulatif overloading sebesar 16906251,7. Umur rencana jalan diprediksi akan berakhir pada tahun 2025, meskipun direncanakan berakhir pada tahun 2027

Abstract

Sebagai Engineer kualitas suatu pembangunan dilihat dari perencanaan dan pengendalian pekerjaan agar mencapai pembangunan yang baik. Kualitas produk akhir dan tidak terpenuhi, bangunan berimplikasi pada umur struktur di karenakan Penyimpangan prosedur pekerjaan yang seringkali diabaikan oleh masyarakat, menjadikan harapan kualitas akhir produk tidak dapat tercapai. Dalam menunjang kesejahteraan masyarakat desa maka perencanaan dan pengadaan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan dalam bentuk fasilitas konstruksi yang berkualitas yang bisa di gunakan dalam umur panjang untuk tercapainya keinginan masyarakat yang di harapkan oleh pemerintah desa. Untuk itu di harapkan dalam penggerakan pengujian mutu harus diutamakan dalam bidang struktur agar infrastruktur yang di harapkan tercapai pada umur rencana dan memuaskan. di wilayah Kecamatan Depati Tujuh yang terletak di kabupaten kerinci yang merupakan wilayah pertanian memerlukan perhatian dari aspek mutu pembangunan yang di terapkan pada perencanaan dan pelaksanaan. Pelaksanaan pembangunan pada pedesaan yang merupakan pembangunan lepas yang biasanya sering di lakukan oleh pihak desa saja tidak ada penggunaan jasa manajemen konstruksi. Bertepatan dari hal itu maka pengendalian proyek yang di lakukan oleh desa dilakukan dengan seadanya, dan mengandalkan pendamping desa untuk mengendali pelaksanaan proyek.

Abstract

The more bike users in Indonesia, so the government issued a rule of no government. 59 years 2020 about the cycle-line criteria and the safety of bicycle patterns, published with the intent to create traffic orderly and maintain the safety of a bicycle vehicle. One of the bike paths in Jambi City is the bike path of Soemantri Bojonegoro which was officially officially on December 20 by Mayor Jambi. This research aims to know the perception of bicycle users to apply to the application of the Jambi City. The data collection technique used is a survey method by using direct quisitioners and measured with Likert Scale with Microsoft Excel. TCR criteria or bicycle access levels for each bicycle experience are good enough, bicycle security is good enough, bicycle signature and good parking is good enough. With this to see the whole value or criteria of the levels of cycle use in Jambi City is quite adequate and worthy to use the bicycle paths in the path of 69.66% of the average of the TCR. is quite well that the perception of the bicycle users are well enough to use the bicycle paths in the path of the Jambi City are well enough to use the bicycle users in the path of the up.

Abstract

penelitian ini membahas pemamfaatan abu limbah pembakaran cangkang sawit (POFA). Variasi penambahan POFA sebesar 0%, 30%, 35%, 40%, 45%, terhadap berat tanah kering dengan waktu pemeraman 0 hari, 7 hari.  Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui daya dukung tanah dengan penambahan material berupa POFA di tinjau dari nilai CBR. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu tanah gambut asli sebagai tanah dengan kandungan organik yang tinggi termasuk kedalam golongan A-8 menurut sistem AASHTO dan disimbolkan dengan peat berdasarkan sistem USCS. Sampel tanah pada lokasi tangkit baru termasuk tanah yang memiliki daya dukung yang jelek karena memiliki nilai CBR 2,43%. Pada tanah campuran POFA diperoleh nilai CBR yang meningkat pada umur pemeraman 0 dan 7 hari sebesar 2,83%, 3,55% CBR tertinggi didapat pada variasi campuran 45% POFA terhadap tanah kering dengan masa pemeraman 7 hari yaitu sebesar 3,55%.

Abstract

The more the population and development of technology that’s getting more advanced in Jambi City makes society about requires access to mobilization from somewhere else in a fast, and economic. With the advancement of technology and the need of transport, it is an online transport based transport that suits the needs of the people. The experience of driving using online transportation is very forming perception, especially the perception of user who is proven that it can affect the view of online transportation. This research aims to know the perception of society of online transport ini Jambi City. The data collection technique used is a survey method by using direct quisitioners and measured with Likert Scale with Microsoft Excel. TCR criteria or the community achievement level to the society’s perception for each inquiry is to the price of getting good result, security gets pretty good, time gets results well enough and accessibility get result well. With this to see the whole value or criteria of the community level of community or criteria to the extent of transport the online Grab ini Jambi City is by looking at the average of the five items that the perception of the TCR us quite well that the perception of the TCR is well enough that the perception of society is well enough that the perception of the online transport is well enough to be used by society as transportation that can be used in daily activities.

Abstract

One of the areas in Jambi City that experience drainage system problems are the Telanaipura area, precisely on Jalan Kapten Pattimura. The area around the research site is a densely populated area and there are several shopping centers, restaurants, and a fairly high road user. When there is a large rain or rain for a long enough time, this area is often flooded with water as high as 0.2 - 0.8 meters which can cause quite a lot of losses for local residents and also for business owners in the area. From this, it can be said that the drainage channel at this location is less than optimal for collecting and draining rainwater discharge. In this case, it is necessary to conduct a study of hydrological analysis and hydraulics analysis of the drainage channel which is useful in helping to solve the problems that occur. This study used hydrological data in the form of monthly rainfall for the past 10 years and the geometry of secondary drainage channels on Jalan Kapten Pattimura Telanaipura. The method used in this study is in the form of hydrological analysis with the maximum rainfall method, gumbel, and calculation of plan discharge with a rational method. This Hydraulic analysis carried out uses the help of the HEC-RAS program to simulate the discharge of water flow in the drainage. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the secondary drainage channel of Jalan Kapten Pattimura, Telanaipura District, Jambi City, cannot accommodate the flow discharge of the plan for periods 2, 5, and 10 years. This is due to sedimentation, high rainfall, suboptimal drainage channels in accommodating flow discharge, and the presence of piles of garbage. The solution to this problem is to deepen the dimensions of the drainage channel by 40–135 cm deep.

Abstract

Jambi City moves quickly in all fields including one of its transportation activities. The negative impact of transportation activities is the exhaust emissions emitted by vehicle smoke which are toxic to the surrounding air. Air pollution that has an impact on transportation activities reaches more than 50%. The East Ring Road Section I of Jambi City is one of the national roads, where this road has a relatively high traffic volume, and when viewed visually this road is one of the roads that contribute to the large level of vehicle exhaust emissions. One of the things that trigger vehicles to become more congested due to the presence of several activity centers. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between carbon monoxide (CO) exhaust emissions and traffic volume and degree of saturation. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method. The data collection techniques used are surveys and observations. From the results of the study, it was obtained that the road capacity was 2914 smp/hour with the traffic flow on the road section exceeding the road capacity and the average DS value of 0.96 exceeding the standard based on the 1997 MKJI of 0.75. This shows that the congested road capacity cannot accommodate the traffic flow that occurs and the flow of vehicles moves with many obstacles. Based on the analysis with the correlation method and regression method between the degree of saturation and carbon monoxide gas, it was found that the degree of saturation and carbon monoxide gas has a strong relationship with the positive correlation result, meaning that if the degree of saturation increases, there will also be an increase in carbon monoxide gas.

Abstract

Tim Pelaksana Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PPM) dengan bermitra Pengrajin Batik Kelompok Kube Anting Putri Kelurahan Mudung Laut Kecamatan Pelayangan Jambi, melakukan pengolahan limbah kulit buah naga merah menjadi pewarna alami untuk nantinya digunakan sebagai pewarna merah pada batik produksi mereka.  Untuk memperoleh pewarna alami tersebut kelompok pengrajin batik Kube Anting Putri akan dibekali dengan praktek pembuatan pewarna alami dari kulit buah naga mereka. Mereka akan diperkenalkan bagaimana mengambil zat warna antosianin atau zat warna merah dalam ekstrak kulit buah naga merah tersebut  Selama ini para pengrajin batik di daerah Mudung Laut menggunakan pewarna sintetis pada proses pewarnaan batik mereka.  Hal tersebut sering kali menimbulkn permasalahan terutama di limbah cair yang mereka hasilkan karena menggunakan pewarna sintetis yang berbahaya .  Pewarna sintetis banyak mengandung senyawa rhodamin B yang akan sangat berbahaya apabila terakumulasi diatas ambang batas dalam air.  Karena dapat menimbulkan penyakit yang berbahaya bagi masyarakat sekitar.  Sehingga luaran  dari kegiatan program pengabdian masyarakat (PPM) ini adalah diperolehnya pewarna alami dari ekstrak buah naga sebagai zat warna merah alami yang selanjutnya dapat digunakan sebagai pewarna merah alami pada batik yang diproduksi.
