Abstract

This research was conducted at the Salero Basamo Restaurant, Gunungsitoli City. This research aims to successfully determine the Salero Basamo restaurant business in maintaining its existence amidst competition from similar food stall businesses. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, using data sources, namely observation, interviews, documentation. In the research, determining informants used purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques to obtain 3 key informants who could provide information related to problems at the research site. The results of this research show that the success of a business in maintaining its existence can be seen from the level of customer satisfaction and competitive advantage.

Abstract

Organisational culture is formed by leaders and applied to subordinates. Culture also changes according to the environment and the needs of the organisation. In the Public Housing and Settlement Area Office of North Nias Regency in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. In the Office of Public Housing and Settlement Areas of North Nias Regency, in carrying out their duties and responsibilities, it is not in accordance with what is expected that performance where the problem is that employees in the agency still unable to carry out and complete their duties properly. The purpose of the study was to determine the Organisational Culture and to determine Employee Performance at the Public Housing and Settlement Area Office of North Nias Regency. In research using qualitative methods using data and information using observation, documentation and interviews. The result of this research is that the importance of a strong organisational culture lies in its ability to create commitment to improving the quality of housing and settlements, effective and efficient resource management, and adaptation to changing times, technology, regulations, and community needs. By applying these values, the Public Housing and Settlement Areas Office can become an effective, responsive, and trusted institution by the community in delivering housing programmes and maintaining integrity. In employee performance, the need for efficiency includes the ability to plan and manage housing programmes within budget and time, effectiveness involves resource management and internal communication, innovation is needed to face development challenges, and responsibility to the community is a determining factor for performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan e-marketing dan Keunggulan kompetitif yang dilakukan pada CV. Bintang Keramik Kota Gunungsitoli. Adapun data dan informasi yang disampaikan pada penelitian ini didapatkan dari hasil wawancara yang dilakukan oleh peneliti kepada informan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti di CV. Bintang Keramik dapat diketahui bahwa penerapan e-marketing yang dilakukan belum dilaksanakan secara maksimal, hal ini dapat diketahui melalui sarana pemasaran yang digunakan masih sangat terbatas dan tidak dilakukan secara efektif. Selanjutnya upaya dalam meningkatkan keunggulan kompetitif yang dilakukan juga masih belum cukup efesien dimana upaya yang dilakukan belum mampu untuk mendominasi persaingan pasar. Kata Kunci: Penerapan E-Marketing & Keunggulan Kompetitif dalam Meningkatkan Penjualan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas pelayanan jasa dan penetapan harga terhadap loyalitas konsumen pada Studio Eli Potret di Kota Gunungsitoli. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif, dan hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan dari kualitas pelayanan dan penetapan harga terhadap loyalitas konsumen. Pertama, hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas konsumen dengan nilai t-statistik sebesar 0.422 dan p-value sebesar 0.005. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan yang baik dapat meningkatkan loyalitas konsumen pada Studio Eli Potret. Kedua, penetapan harga juga memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas konsumen, dengan nilai t-statistik sebesar 0.021 dan p-value sebesar 0.002. Dengan demikian, kebijakan harga yang tepat dapat berkontribusi positif terhadap loyalitas konsumen. Selanjutnya, hasil uji regresi linear berganda menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan dan penetapan harga keduanya memiliki koefisien positif yang signifikan terhadap loyalitas konsumen. Artinya, peningkatan kualitas pelayanan dan kebijakan harga yang baik dapat diharapkan meningkatkan loyalitas konsumen pada Studio Eli Potret. Dari hasil uji koefisien determinasi, ditemukan bahwa sekitar 73,7% variasi dalam loyalitas konsumen dapat dijelaskan oleh model regresi ini. Hal ini menandakan bahwa faktor-faktor lain di luar kualitas pelayanan dan penetapan harga juga dapat memengaruhi loyalitas konsumen. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengelola Studio Eli Potret dan industri foto di Kota Gunungsitoli untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi loyalitas konsumen. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya fokus pada peningkatan kualitas pelayanan dan penerapan kebijakan harga yang bijak guna meningkatkan kepuasan dan loyalitas konsumen. Kata kunci: Kualitas Pelayanan Jasa, Penetapan Harga dan Loyalitas Konsumen.

Abstract

Quality human resources (HR) play a crucial role in advancing organizations, especially amidst competitive environments striving for superior performance. Regular performance evaluation by management assesses employees' adherence to responsibilities, legal compliance, and ethical conduct. The evaluation aims to enhance work quality, foster a safe environment, boost motivation and satisfaction, improve efficiency, productivity, and overall performance. This qualitative descriptive study investigates employee performance evaluation at the Gunungsitoli City KPU Secretariat, focusing on improving discipline, responsibility, and HR quality. Findings indicate effective evaluation processes influenced by factors such as ability, motivation, and attitude.

Abstract

This research aims to achieve the following objectives: (1) to explore how the implementation of the DANA e-wallet facilitates consumer transactions at the Ya'ahowu Market in Gunungsitoli City; (2) to examine the usage patterns of the DANA application within the Ya'ahowu Market; and (3) to identify the challenges and risks associated with using the DANA application in simplifying transactions for consumers at the market. The research methods employed include observation, interviews, and documentation collection, with five respondents participating in the study. Based on interviews with key informants, the study found that the increasing adoption of e-wallets, such as DANA, has significantly streamlined transaction processes at Ya'ahowu Market. Informants revealed that, prior to the introduction of the DANA application, transactions were conducted solely in cash. However, since the app’s integration, both buyers and sellers at Ya'ahowu Market have embraced e-wallets, recognizing their potential to simplify transactions and enhance overall market efficiency. This shift demonstrates the market's effort to keep up with technological advancements in digital payment systems.

Abstract

Employees at the One Stop Integrated Investment and Licensing Services Service in North Nias Regency have a different understanding of Financial Literacy. So some employees do not understand basic financial concepts, such as budget planning, investment, risk, and how to manage debt. Some employees are trapped in fraudulent investments and there are still many employees who have consumerist habits, namely buying things based on desire rather than need. This research aims to determine the influence of financial literacy on the interest in saving of Civil Servants at the One Stop Integrated Licensing and Investment Service of North Nias Regency. The variables in this research are financial literacy (X) and interest in saving (Y). The method in this research uses quantitative research methods. The data collection method in this research uses primary data obtained from filling out questionnaires with 31 employee respondents at the One Stop Integrated Licensing and Investment Service Office of North Nias Regency. as well as secondary data obtained from journals related to this research. The data analysis methods used are validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient test, determinant coefficient test, normality test, heteroscedasticity test, linearity regression test, simple linear regression test and T test. The results of this research show that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on the interest in saving of Civil Servants at the One Stop Integrated Licensing and Investment Service of North Nias Regency. Simultaneously, the magnitude of the influence of financial literacy on the interest in saving of employees of the One Stop Integrated Investment and Licensing Services Service of North Nias Regency is 43.8%, while the other 56.2% is influenced by other variables not included in the research.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of the use of digital marketing in Indonesia, especially in the Nias Islands, which is currently running quite rapidly, which has directly given rise to new competition, this requires business actors to be more creative and innovative regarding the marketing changes that are currently occurring. This research aims to determine the influence of consumer trust and service quality on online purchasing decisions of Shopee users among students at the Faculty of Economics, Unversitas Nias, North Sumatera, Indonesia. This research is quantitative research with the research object at the Faculty of Economics, Unversitas Nias, North Sumatera, Indonesia. Data sources are taken from documentation, questionnaire results and observation results. Based on the results of the written analysis and discussion regarding the influence of Consumer Trust and Service Quality on Purchasing Decisions on the Shopee application, it can be concluded that Consumer Trust has a significant influence on Purchasing Decisions on the Shopee application which can be seen from the results of the t-test where Consumer Trust is 4,731 which is greater than t-estimated 2,645 and Service Quality with a t-value of 3,578 which is greater than t-estimated 2,645 and so H2 is accepted. Consumer Trust and Service Quality on Shopee Application Purchase Decisions. This can be proven by the statistical results of F-calculated of 19.008 which is greater than F-estimated of 3.12.

Abstract

Retail trade is a very strategic trade in Indonesia because it is able to absorb labor after the agricultural sector. There are two types of retail trade, namely traditional retail which is directly represented by small traders or grocery traders in traditional markets and in housing and modern retail which is represented by supermarkets and minimarkets such as Alfamart and Indomaret. This proves that there is quite high economic growth and creates investment, but on the other hand, this can cause lethargy for traditional kiosk traders, even killing their businesses. Yuki Mart is one of the modern shops (minimarkets) in Gunungsitoli City. This research aims to find out how much influence consumer behavior has on purchasing decisions at Yuki Mart, Gunungsitoli City. This research uses quantitative methods. Respondents were 57 consumers who shopped at Yuki Mart, Gunungsitoli City in July, where researchers collected data using a questionnaire, then carried out data validity tests, data reliability tests, classical assumption tests (normality tests), coefficient of determination, and hypothesis tests (t tests). The results of the research show that the influence of consumer behavior on purchasing decisions at Yuki Mart, Gunungsitoli City, is 16.3% and the other 83.7% is influenced by other variables not included in this research.

Abstract

Agriculture is a very important sector in Indonesia, because it has natural resources (SDA) and Human Resources (HR). Based on researchers' observations that have been carried out at UD. Makmur Tani uncovered problems involving many similar, tight competing companies with limited pesticide products and inappropriate marketing strategies. This research aims to analyze the marketing strategy implemented by UD. Makmur Tani in an effort to increase sales of pesticide products. The main focus of the research is on the three main indicators of marketing strategy, namely segmentation, targeting and positioning. Based on this explanation, the type of research used in this research is qualitative research, which is because it is not in the form of numbers or numbers so it only takes the form of statements or sentences. The research results show that UD. Makmur Tani has implemented a market segmentation strategy based on geography and farmer demographics. In terms of targeting, the company focuses on farmers in certain regions. The positioning strategy implemented is by positioning certain products. Further analysis revealed that implementation of this strategy has contributed to increased sales of pesticide products. However, there are still several obstacles in its implementation, especially related to market competition and changes in consumer preferences.
