Abstract

The growth of the tourism industry has created social, economic, and environmental changes, so management steps are needed. Not only from the government but requires community involvement, both local and regional. North Rupat has various tourism potentials that can be managed in synergy to advance the strength and economic welfare of the community independently. The purpose of this research is to explore, find, and describe a model of communication management in community economic empowerment. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques through interviews with 10 informants, observation, FGD, and documentation. The research results show that an integrated management model through the control and management of communication resources in various forms of effective communication can improve the community's economy independently. Management of communication through various communication resources by planning, organizing, implementing and controlling communication elements in achieving predetermined goals. Meanwhile, the form of communication in achieving goals is adjusted to the character of the local community, through socialization, assistance, and counseling using information media and technology.

Abstract

Bengkalis adalah salah satu kabupaten yang memiliki jumlah Industri Kecil dan Menengah (IKM/UKM) terbanyak di Provinsi Riau. Namun demikian beberapa tahun belakangan perolehan laba dari IKM/UKM di wilayah tersebut telah mengalami penurunan. Kondisi ini menjadikan IKM/UKM tersebut dituntut untuk lebih gencar melakukan kegiatan promosi agar produk-produk dari daerah tersebut lebih banyak dikenal dan dibeli oleh konsumen. Penggunaan media sosial sebagai media promosi sangatlah penting untuk diterapkan guna meningkatkan penjualan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pendampingan tentang penerapan pemasaran melalui media sosial (social media marketing) sebagai media promosi untuk produk-produk yang dihasilkan oleh pengusaha IKM dan juga Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan (Disperindag) di Kabupaten Bengkalis. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama empat bulan dengan kegiatan utama dilaksanakan di kantor Disperindag Kabupaten Bengkalis. Peserta yang hadir lebih dari empat puluh orang yang terdiri dari para pengusaha IKM yang ada di Bengkalis serta para staf dan pegawai Disperindag itu sendiri. Respon yang positif telah diberikan para peserta atas kegiatan tersebut. Dari kegiatan ini diketahui bahwa tidak seorang pun dari peserta yang menggunakan media sosial sebagai media promosi produk mereka. Sebagian besar peserta juga belum memiliki pengetahuan yang baik dalam menggunakan teknologi informasi berbasis internet. Melalui kegiatan pendampingan ini, para pengusaha IKM mendapatkan pengetahuan baru serta kemampuan awal dalam penerapan social media marketing yang sangat bermanfaat bagi pengembangan usaha terutama dalam hal promosi produk mereka.

Abstract

Currently there are slums in urban Indonesia, it means the people still live in conditions of homes uninhabitable and lack of public access to urban basic services. Kota Tanpa Kumuh Program (Kotaku) launched in 2016 which is a program of prevention and improving the quality of national slum. Tanah Datar is a priority locations considered successful running KOTAKU program, this is not apart of their communication strategy. This study aims to determine the communicator, target audience, media and message strategy communications made in the course of Regional Management Consultants on Kota Tanpa Kumuh Program of Tanah Datar District of Pekanbaru City.This research method is qualitative descriptive method using strategic communications theory. The research subject is determined by purposive sampling with 9 informants. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data was analyzed using interactive model of Miles and Huberman, the validity data checking techniques includes extension of participation, and triangulation.The results showed first, form a strategy that assigns a team of facilitators and skilled team of Regional Management Consultants, and chairman of the Institute for Community Self-Reliance Tanah Datar Makmur as a speaker in the socialization. Second, audience strategy is the entire village community Tanah Datar. Third, message strategy is the preparation of the material comprising the message dissemination of relevant information Kota Tanpa Kumuh Program, as well as the use of the slogan and adjustments in the delivery of the message to the target. Fourth, the using of media that is the media group with the dissemination and use of mass media such as print media (newspapers, brochures, banners and billboards, pamphlets and fotonovela bulletin) and electronic media (online media, radio, social media facebook and instagram, and website).Keywords: Communication Strategy, Slum, Strategic Communication

Abstract

Jemur island is one of the attractions that will become a mainstay in Rokan Hilir. Tourist attraction is under the management of the Department of Tourism Culture Youth and Sports Rokan Hilir Riau province, which is responsible for introducing to the local tourists and foreign tourists. Beautiful scenery, as well as a typical phenomenon which is owned attractions such as websites that contain historical value that can be inviting tourists to come to the tourist attraction. But in reality attraction drying Jemur Island visit not too many tourists. The authors are interested in examining how the communication strategy undertaken Department of Tourism Culture Youth and Sports Rokan Hilir. The purpose of this study was to determine the communication strategy used Department of Tourism Culture Youth and Sports Rokan Hilir in promoting attraction Jemur and messaging strategies and the use of media in the promotion. This research uses qualitative descriptive method and data collection techniques that can be sorted by the fact the field is through observation, interviews, and documentation.Informantn in this study were 12 people who were taken bypurposive sampling method.Interactive Data Analysis Model writersuse to describe the results of research in data analysis techniques, and for examination ofthe validity of the data the researchers used a technique extension of participation as well as triangulation. The results showed that the communications strategy undertaken by the Department of Tourism Culture Youth and Sports Rokan Hilir not maximized. The communication strategy undertaken in the form, cooperated with the agency derah and outside the region inparticipating in various events as well as assistance in meeting the tourism support facilities, brochures, billboards, website. Factors affecting split into supporting factorssuch as: openness, availability of infrastructure, cooperation is compact, good relationswith the media and the private sector, technological advances.Then inhibiting factors,such as limited funds and support from the local community is still lacking. Abstract

Indragiri Hulu Regency is one of the districts that received the title of Madya as a child-friendly district in 2019, and the Pasir Penyu District is a pilot sub-district for other sub-districts. But in getting this award, there are still many problems that occur in the Pasir Turtle District, including cases of juvenile delinquency and molestation of minors, this case always increases every year from 2017 to 2019, therefore the Women Empowerment and Protection Agency makes The Task Force for the creation of a Child Friendly District Program to reduce problems that occur in Indragiri Hulu Regency               This study used a qualitative research method. Research sites at the Department of Women Empowerment and Child Protection, Indragiri Hulu District and Pasir Penyu District and the surrounding communities. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. To achieve the validity of the data in this study, researchers used participation extension and triangulation               Based on the technical analysis above, the researchers assessed and concluded that the communication activities carried out by the task force unit in realizing the Child Friendly District program were several ways, namely socialization, supervision, and making facilities and infrastructure in the Pasir Penyu sub-district to support the realization of the Child Friendly District program in the District. Abstract

The creative industry is considered to be more important in supporting prosperity of economy. Sapulidi Center is Self-supporting institution of Society and has function as the center of the development of creative industry by establishing a place of creativity and creative industries development program in the form of UMKM such as cafe. The aim of this research is to know the strategy of communication that is done by Sapulidi Center in socializing culinary industry development program eCafe Sapulidi Center in pekanbaru.The approach of this research is descriptive method, with the approach of communication model Lasswell as the basic theory and and strategic communication model that is supported by Effendy. The subjects of research are coaches and staff of Sapulidi Center, schoolchildren / students, community groups and government agencies by using purposive sampling techniques, informant obtained as many as five people. Data collection techniques are observation, interview,andkkdocumentation.The result of research: The communication strategy that is undertaken by Sapulidi Center is by determining the target audience: schoolchildren / students, community groups and government agencies. Factors that are considered in designing the message is: message content, message structure, and message format. Communication media used face to face communication media and mass media both print and electronic media (RTV, Riau Pos, Tribun, Online media, and social media) are used to inform the news about the activities of Sapulidi Center. The role of communicators in the communication are the appeal (trust), the charismatic (emphatic) and the credibility of sources (skills and knowledge) in conveying the message.Keywords: Communication strategy, creative industry, culinary industry, Sapulidi Center

Abstract

Social community is a group that is in each of its members are united by a common vision and mission as well as social-themed destination. One form of social communities in Pekanbaru is Yuk Berbagi Pekanbaru Community. Come Share Pekanbaru community engaged in social duty to help people who need help around Pekanbaru. To create an activity, requires funding and donors for the smooth running of the activities undertaken. Therefore, to attract the participation of donors, Yuk Berbagi Pekanbaru Community conduct persuasive communication. The purpose of this study is to investigate the persuasive communication techniques, persuasive communication messages,This study used qualitative research methods. Research conducted at the Secretariat Yuk Berbagi Pekanbaru on Jl. Pemuda No. 22/10 Tenayan Raya, Pekanbaru. Selection of informants done by using purposive. As for the informants of this study is the chairman of the community of Yuk Berbagi Pekanbaru, two community members of Yuk Berbagi Pekanbaru, two regular donors Yuk Berbagi Pekanbaru community and one person did not keep a community donors Yuk Berbagi Pekanbaru. Data collection techniques used for conducting research is by observation, interview and documentation. While the validity of the data that researchers use is extended participation, triangulation as well as the adequacy of reference.The results showed that, in the persuasive communication, the Community Yuk Berbagi Pekanbaru using four techniques that technique putting it up to you, bandwagon technique, the technique say it with flower and raessuarnce techniques. Meanwhile, persuasive messages used Community Yuk Berbagi Pekanbaru is the use of verbal messages and nonverbal messages. During persuasive communication, communicant which in this case is the donor always give a positive response and impression. In addition, when making a persuasive communication, the Community Yuk Berbagi Pekanbaru also use the media as a container or channel message. The media used Yuk Berbagi Community Pekanbaru is social media instagram.

Abstract

Understanding of education according to the National Education Law no. 20 in 2003, is a learning process in such a way so that learners can develop their potentials actively in order to have self-control, intelligence, skills in social, religious spiritual strength, personality and character mulia.Upaya conducted by the Community 1000_Guru mem persuasif Riau with the local community inland to care about education through activities Traveling and Teaching.This study aims to determine the credibility of a communicator, messages and media used by this community to improve education in rural areas aware of Riau.This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Informants consisted of two people who are the management teams 1000_Guru Community Riau and two volunteers who've participated in the traveling and teaching by using purposive and two people who are teachers who teach in schools in remote areas using technique. accidental sampling Data collected by means of participant observation, interview and documentation. To achieve the validity of the data in this study, researchers used the extension of participation and triangulation.The results showed that Komunitas1000_Guru Riau has credibility as a communicator who can provide motivation on the importance of education to children in remote areas. Riau 1000_Guru Community persuasive message that is using verbal messages include clarity, candor, and the precision and nonverbal messages. The media used is the first community media offline,using props and film about education. Abstract

The association of Bujang Dara Meranti Islands as tourism ambassadors have a big role in helping the government to introduce and promote the tourism potential that exists in the Meranti Islands Regency to a wide audience. In carrying out his duties as a tourism ambassador, skills and expertise are needed in promoting tourism potential as well as having an attractive way of communication and appearance in order to influence the community. In this thesis the author only discusses how the association of Bujang Dara Meranti Islands communication strategy in promoting tourism. The purpose of this study was to determine how the communicator strategy, message strategy, media selection strategy, and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the association of Bujang Dara in Promoting Tourism in the Meranti Islands Regency.This research method uses qualitative research methods. The informants of this study consisted of 10 people namely, 1 from the Department of Youth Tourism and Sports in the Meranti Islands Regency, 5 from the association of Bujang Dara Meranti Islands, and 4 from the community to support this research. Data collection techniques consisted of interviews, observation and documentation, while data analysis techniques used interactive models by Huberman and Miles. The data validity checking technique uses an extension of participation and triangulation.Based on the results of research that the author has done, the results of research to identify the first problem are communicator strategies in promoting tourism are all members of the Meranti Archipelago Bujang Dara Association who have credibility and attractiveness. The message strategy is informative and persuasive by specifying information using #yokkemeranti as the tagline. The media used are social media and print media. Then related to the identification of the latter are supporting factors and inhibiting factors, where the supporting factors are the potential for tourism objects, the tourism office, and the role of the community, while the inhibiting factors are human resources, natural factors access to tourist sites, lack of mastery of foreign languages, and obstacles budget.  Keywords : Communication Strategy, Bujang and Dara, Tourism Ambassador.

Abstract

Traffic Police Unit resorts Kampar is an agency of the Traffic Police organizations which are directly under the Chief of Police located in the center of the city Bangkinang responsible for Kampar Riau either a traffic violation or accident lintas. Based on data from Laka Police Kampar the number of accidents in Bangkinang City in 2015 amounted to 24 accidents in which learners more of these casualties are 12 casualties, and for a traffic violation in terms of profession, high school students is quite alarming from one month to a year 2015 is a 712 violations in which the position of the highest student ranks first in the list of violations. With the above problems Traffic Police Kampar conduct socialization activities traffic regulations with the intent and purpose of that public road users especially students know, understand and believe the traffic police as protectors and servants of the people in the activities of Community Education of traffic, traffic enforcement, assessment of traffic problems, registration and identification of motor vehicle and the driver, for the achievement of security, order and smooth traffic. The method used in this research is quantitative method. Collecting data using questionnaires, and documentation. To determine the influence of the socialization of traffic regulations on the attitudes of high school students, the authors use simple linear regression analysis. Variabel X in this study is an activity socializing traffic regulations, while variable Y is the attitude of high school students in City Bangkinang. Number of samples in this study were 92 students by using the sampling technique is Taro Yamane. data processing program tested using Statistical Product And Service Solution (SPSS) Windows version 20. The results showed the influence of the socialization of traffic regulations on the attitudes of high school students in City Bangkinang. This is based on data analysis using simple linear regression is Y = 6.009 +, 565 X. Numbers constant (a) of 6.009 and a coefficient of socialization variables, t 7.790 565 with greater when compared with t table 1, 987 and a significance level , 000 is smaller than α = 0.05. Therefore H1 accepted and H0 is rejected because there is significant influence between socialization activities regulation "traffic" with the attitude of high school students in City Bangkinang.
