Abstract

Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa Embacang Lama Kecamatan Karang Jaya, Kabupaten Musi Rawas Utara dengan target sasaran masyarakat Desa Embacang Lama. Desa Embacang Lama sendiri memiliki sumber daya alam berupa pertanian dan perkebunan. Secara keseluruhan, kondisi perumahan penduduk di Desa Embacang Lama ini rata-rata rumah panggung dan semi permanen. Ditinjau dari segi pendidikan masyarakat Desa Embacang Lama ini mayoritas tamatan SD/Sederajat dan SMP/Sederajat, serta terdapat pemuda desa yang masih kurang dalam mengembangkan potensi yang ada di dalam dirinya, untuk itu industri kreatif sangat diperlukan. Pada kegiatan pengabdian ini akan membahas salah satu peluang usaha yang bisa dilakukan secara skala rumahan dengan peluang yang cukup menjanjikan saat ini, yakni pemanfaatan minyak jelantah sebagai bahan baku lilin aromaterapi. Di Desa Embacang Lama juga ada kegiatan yang dilakukan seperti pengajian, karang taruna dan kegiatan oleh ibu-ibu PKK. Sasaran mitra dalam pelaksanaan Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah masyarakat non produktif, sehingga dengan dilaksanakan kegiatan PKM ini masyarakat dapat bertukar informasi mengenai pemanfaatan limbah minyak jelantah dapat diolah menjadi lilin aromaterapi yang dapat dipasarkan dan dikembangkan menjadi industri kreatif. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah metode pelatihan dan pendampingan tentang cara pembuatan lilin aromaterapi dari minyak jelantah.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to increase students' motivation to learn physics after participating in learning activities using scientific-based physics E-books. This research is development research using the 4D model. The subjects of this research included students in class VIII.1 of SMP Negeri 11 Lubuklinggau. The data collection technique was carried out using a learning motivation questionnaire. The assessment of student learning motivation significantly increased with the results before using the media only getting a score percentage of 49%, while the results of the student learning motivation questionnaire after using learning media got a score percentage of 86% in the very high category. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the learning media is effective in increasing students' learning motivation

Abstract

This study aims to determine the comparison of two electrical energy produced by the Minihidro Power (PLTMH) at differentheights and water discharge. After all the systems that support the construction of the mini-hydro have been designed andconnected to each other to form the expected mini-hydro system, the next step is the mini-hydro work testing phase. As for theimplementation using the experimental method by operating a mini-hydropower plant with variations in changing the heightand water discharge. This research was conducted to determine the current and voltage produced by observing the current andinput voltage and current and output voltage of the inverter circuit. The test is carried out using ammeters and voltmeters, thenthe measurement results are entered in a table. This study obtained data V and me to calculate the electric power generated(P). The analysis was done descriptively by comparing the data obtained to observe the effect of water height (h) and waterdischarge (Q) on electric power (P). From the experimental results, the greater the price of h and Q, the greater the Pproduced. So from this experiment, we can be implemented in a PLTMH builder by knowing the maximum water level anddischarge from a water source. From the results of these experiments it can be said the higher the water to the generator, thegreater the electrical energy produced. This is in accordance with the potential energy it has. The greater the potential energy ofan object means the greater the electrical energy. From the comparative data of Experiments 1 and 2, it is obtained that theamount of water debit greatly influences the amount of energy/electricity generated. This is due to the large mass of water thatwill hit the turbine so the generator turns faster, resulting in large mechanical energy. So to build a PLTMH, water flow andaltitude must be considered.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of the development of quick response code-assisted learning modules on mechanical wave material in terms of validity. This research is a research and development R&D (Research andDevelopment) using a 4D development model which has a development stage consisting of 4 stages of development, namely: Define (defining), Design (planning), Development (development), and Dissemination (deployment). Data collectiontechniques in the form of a module validity questionnaire. The subject of this research is class XI SMA Negeri 1 Muara Beliti. The validity assessment obtained was material validation = 43, media validation = 34, and language validation = 20 with an average score of 0,87 in the very valid category after the quick response code-assisted learning module was validated by experts. thus it can be concluded that the quick response code learning module is valid, so this learning module can be used in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning Terhadap Hasil Belajar Fisika Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri Purwodadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan Model pembelajaran discovery learning yang terdiri atas 6 tahapan yaitu: Stimulation (pemberi rangsangan), Problem Statement (identifikasi masalah), Data Collection pengumpulan data), Data Processing (pengolahan data), Verification (pembuktian), dan Generalization (menarik kesimpulan). Pada penelitian ini menggunakan desain one group pretest-posttest design. Sebagai populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri Purwodadi tahun pelajaran 2022/2023, dengan teknik simple random sampling sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas X.IPA.2. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji-t pada taraf signifikan  = 0,05, diperoleh  8,54 >  = 1,69 dengan skor rata-rata pretest 37,25 dan skor rata-rata posttest 79,91. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan ada Hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri Purwodadi setelah diterapkan model Pembelajaran discovery learning secara signifikan tuntas

Abstract

The Effectiveness of the Guided Inquiry Learning Model in Physics Learning for Grade VII Students of SMP IT Annajiyah. This study explores the effectiveness of the guided inquiry model in teaching physics to seventh-grade students at SMP IT Annajiyah. It employs a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and a quasi-experimental design. The participants were students engaging in physics lessons using the guided inquiry approach. Data were collected through classroom observations to assess student participation, conceptual understanding, and responses to the learning process. The guided inquiry model was designed to actively involve students in exploration, investigation, and problem-solving under teacher guidance. The findings indicate that this approach enhances students' interest, participation, and engagement in learning activities. Thus, the guided inquiry model is an effective method for teaching physics at the middle school level.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa Pendingan, Kecamatan Muara Lakitan, sebagai respons terhadap melimpahnya limbah kelapa sawit yang belum dimanfaatkan dan masih dibakar terbuka sehingga menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah tandan kosong dan pelepah sawit menjadi briket sebagai energi terbarukan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis pembuatan briket, serta pendampingan dan evaluasi melalui angket keterampilan. Hasil angket menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan peserta dalam mengenali bahan, melakukan karbonisasi, mencampur dan mencetak briket, serta memahami keselamatan kerja, dengan rata-rata peningkatan keterampilan sebesar 60,1%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa program berhasil memberdayakan masyarakat secara teknis dan meningkatkan pemanfaatan limbah sawit berbasis energi terbarukan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students' understanding of physics learning material is still lacking and the lack of learning media and the lack of student creativity in finding learning resources. The purpose of this study is to develop an Android-based interactive learning media using Smart Apps Ceator (SAC) on practical measurement materials. This research is an R&D development research (Research and Development) using a 4-D development model consisting of Definition, Design, Development and Dissemination. At the Development stage there is a practicality test and the subjects of this research are physics teachers and students. The results of the practicality test that have been obtained are with a practicality score of 86% for the practicality test of physics teachers with very practical criteria, a practicality score of 88.4% is obtained for small group practicality trials and a practicality score of 92 is obtained, 2% for the practicality trial of a large group (field group) with very practical criteria. So it can be concluded that android-based interactive learning media using Smart Apps Creator (SAC) on measurement material through practicality tests with the practicality test assessment questionnaire instrument that has been carried out has met the very practical criteria so that it is feasible to be used for students in the learning process.
