Abstract

This study aims to develop a physics E- Module based on Discovery Learning assisted by the 3D PageFlip Professional application on practical moving wave and stationary wave material. This research is an R&D (Research and Development) development research using a 4D development model consisting of Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. At the development stage there is a practicality test and the research subjects are physics teachers and students. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire that is distributed during the practicality test. The practicality test results that have been obtained are 92% for the physics teacher practicality trial with very practical criteria, a practicality score of 87% is obtained for the limited group practicality trial with very practical criteria, and a practicality score is 83% for the large group trial. with very practical criteria. So it can be concluded that the E- Module physics based on Discovery Learning assisted by the 3D PageFlip Professional application on traveling wave and stationary wave material through a practicality test using a questionnaire instrument.

Abstract

The problem in learning science at SMP N Air Satan is the low involvement of students actively due to the use of conventional methods and limited learning resources. This study aims to develop a contextual-based science module that is valid, practical, and effective to improve students' concept understanding. The method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), but limited to the first three stages. Data were collected through validation questionnaires (by material, language, and media experts), student practicality questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The data were analyzed quantitatively descriptively to measure the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the product. The validation results showed that the module was in the “valid” category, with a material expert validation score of 45, media expert 43, and linguist 27. Student responses to the practicality of the module reached 80.69% (“practical” category), and student learning outcomes showed learning completeness of 77.26%, exceeding the KKM 72. Thus, the contextual-based science module developed has proven to be valid, practical, and effective for use in the science learning process in junior high school.

Abstract

Kegiatan praktikum Fisika Dasar I di perguruan tinggi masih menghadapi berbagai permasalahan, seperti kurangnya panduan praktikum yang kontekstual, minimnya integrasi antara konsep fisika dan kearifan lokal, serta rendahnya keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam proses inkuiri ilmiah. Akibatnya, kegiatan praktikum belum sepenuhnya mampu menumbuhkan keterampilan proses sains dan sikap ilmiah mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan panduan praktikum Fisika Dasar I berbasis inkuiri terintegrasi kearifan lokal yang layak digunakan dalam kegiatan praktikum Fisika Dasar I di Universitas PGRI Silampari. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi yang kemudian dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan skala lima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa panduan praktikum yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan. Aspek media memperoleh skor aktual 68 dengan kategori A (Sangat Baik), aspek materi memperoleh skor aktual 94 dengan kategori A (Sangat Baik), dan aspek bahasa memperoleh skor aktual 35 dengan kategori A (Sangat Baik). Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa panduan praktikum Fisika Dasar I terintegrasi kearifan lokal dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan untuk kegiatan praktikum Fisika Dasar I.
