Abstract

Pendidikan berbasis teknologi telah menjadi salah satu aspek penting dalam dunia pendidikan modern. Artikel ini membahas pengembangan sebuah aplikasi E-learning yang memanfaatkan fitur-fitur interaktif dan adaptive learning. Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih dinamis dan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan individual para peserta didik. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada perancangan dan pengembangan aplikasi E-learning yang dapat merespons secara adaptif terhadap kemajuan belajar peserta didik. Fitur interaktif yang terintegrasi memungkinkan para peserta didik untuk terlibat secara aktif dalam proses belajar, menciptakan lingkungan yang mempromosikan keterlibatan dan pemahaman yang lebih baik. Selain itu, aplikasi ini menyediakan fleksibilitas bagi pengajar dalam menyusun konten pembelajaran yang dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi E-learning dengan fitur interaktif dan adaptive learning dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran dan memotivasi peserta didik untuk mencapai hasil yang lebih baik. Artikel ini memberikan wawasan tentang bagaimana teknologi dapat digunakan untuk mengubah pendekatan tradisional dalam pendidikan dan menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif dan disesuaikan. Dengan penggunaan aplikasi E-learning semacam ini, pendidikan dapat menjadi lebih inklusif, dinamis, dan adaptif, sehingga mendukung perkembangan peserta didik dengan cara yang lebih efektif dan inovatif.

Abstract

In the rapidly growing digital era, information technology has become an integral part of almost all aspects of our lives, including in the world of business and management. Appropriate and effective use of information technology is the key to achieving competitive advantage in today's competitive business environment. However, making decisions related to information technology is not an easy task, as information technology is often complex and high-risk. The purpose of this study is to analyse ethical leadership in information technology-related decision making and its impact on risk management. The method used is a qualitative literature review that focuses on an in-depth understanding of the topic in the time span from 2006 to 2023. The main objective of this method is to identify, analyse, and synthesise relevant scientific literature that has been published in various journals, conference papers, and other academic sources accessible through Google Scholar. The study results show that ethical leadership plays a central role in ensuring that IT-related decisions are taken with ethical principles in mind and with the aim of minimising risk. Ethical leadership contributes to the avoidance of data misuse, creating a culture of transparency and accountability, ensuring fair use of technology, and being mindful of the impact of IT decisions on society and the environment.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a smart bag system for monitoring children using GPS modules, SIM800L modules, and Arduino as hardware components. The main benefit of this system is its capacity to be immediately and instantly monitored through the website, enabling parents to oversee their children effectively. The study employed an experimental method that utilized a literature approach to build the hardware features and websites of a GPS tracker-based track bag monitoring container. After conducting 10 functioning tests, the gadget performed effectively. Tests are conducted both indoors and outdoors, and the findings can accurately determine the position and display the coordinates. The tool demonstrates good accuracy at a range of 8 meters during indoor testing, while outside testing reveals its maximum accuracy at a distance of 21 meters. The utilization of trackers is effectively accomplished through bags, however, this approach may not be appropriate for those with specific requirements and the elderly.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Praktk (KKP) adalah mata kuliah yang memberikan pemahaman kepada mahasiswa tentang dunia kerja. Mata kuliah ini bertujuan memberikan wawasan kepada mahasiswa bagaimana lingkungan kerja dan bagaimana mengimplementasikan keilmuan di bidang Teknologi Informasi di tempat praktik. Pendataan mahasiswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ini sangat penting, terkait dengan pendataan instansi tempat mahasiswa melakukan kegiatan kuliah kerja praktik. Dibangunlah sebuah sistem informasi kuliah kerja praktik berbasis website menggunakan bahasa pemrograman php, dengan  database nya menggunakan MySQL, dan framework yang digunakan adalah codeigniter. Model pengembangan perangkat lunak yang digunakan adalah model Waterfall Untuk melihat kesesuaian fungsionalitas dari aplikasi dilakukan pengujian black box testing untuk melihat keberhasilan dari fungsionalitas aplikasi. Sistem informasi ini dibangun untuk memudahkan pendataan mahasiswa yang  melaksanakan kegiatan kuliah kerja praktik,  mengurangi kesalahan pendataan dan memberikan kemudahan penyimpanan data. Hasil pengujian yang dilakukan sistem informasi kuliah kerja praktik ini layak untuk digunakan sebagai alat bantu dalam pengelolaan data pelaksanaan kuliah kerja praktik.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how consumption patterns and transaction utilization have changed for young people when using e-wallet transactions. The research conducted by the author used a qualitative approach. In this research, the samples obtained by researchers used a purposive sampling method with a sample size of 100. This research used data collection techniques, including interviews, documentation, and a literature study. The raw data has been collected using interview and documentation data collection techniques, which the author then processes and analyzes. Based on research results, it was found that urban youth have currently experienced evolution or changes in the essence of consumption patterns. Consumption, which is actually a common life phenomenon that will never be replaced, has begun to shift in essence from the motivation of consumption to survive and fulfill needs to consumption to satisfy desires and lifestyle. The presence of digital transactions is here to meet these changes in consumption patterns. In a way, both of them have a mutual influence between consumption patterns, which are increasing in purchasing primary and secondary goods, and the high use of e-wallets, which is proven by the high circulation of money from year to year.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how to design and build an employee e-recruitment information system using the simple additive weighting method. There are three types of data collection methods in this research: observation, interviews, and literature study. The system development method used in this research is the OOAD (Object-Oriented Analysis and Design) method with the rapid application development model, while the tools used in object modeling are UML (Unified Modeling Language). From the discussion that has been described, the following conclusions can be drawn: This e-recruitment information system was designed and built using the RAD system development method and the SAW method for calculations in decision-making, using the PHP and MySQL programming languages as the database, and tested with black box testing. By using the e-recruitment information system to recruit employees, the HR and general divisions have a reference for selecting which prospective employees most closely match the predetermined criteria. This e-recruitment information system can reduce the possibility of human error occurring during the selection process, and with the value of each applicant calculated in the system, it will become a reference for HR staff in selecting employees more objectively. The administrative selection process, which takes one month, can be reduced to a maximum of seven working days. With the e-recruitment information system, selection results that were previously reported via message can now be seen directly in each applicant's account at a predetermined time.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a predictive model using the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) method to forecast the course completion of students in the Information Technology program. The issue at hand is the uncertainty in predicting student success based on historical data and specific attributes. This study focuses on the importance of understanding the factors that influence student success in the Database Management Systems course to provide accurate predictions and help improve student pass rates in this course. The objective of this research is to build a predictive model using the KNN algorithm and to implement this model using the PHP programming language. The study aims to offer valuable insights for educational institutions to enhance teaching and learning processes and to expand understanding of data mining concepts in specific case studies. The prediction aims to determine whether a student will pass or fail the Database Management Systems course based on predetermined training and testing data. By calculating the nearest distance between the training data and the test data. The results showed an accuracy rate of 90% for predicting course completion using k=5, with a dataset consisting of 40 training data points and 20 testing data points.

Abstract

Mahasiswa yang melanjutkan studi di perguruan tinggi yang jauh dari kampung asalnya memerlukan tempat tinggal yang menjadi kebutuhan utama. Tempat tinggal yang nyaman, terutama untuk mahasiswa putri, menjadi aspek penting dalam pemilihan rumah kos atau kamar kos. Kriteria kenyamanan ini mencakup harga sewa yang terjangkau, jarak yang dekat dengan kampus, fasilitas yang memadai, lingkungan sekitar yang nyaman, dan keamanan. Disekitar kampus UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh terdapat banyak rumah kos putri yang menjadi alternatif-alternatif dalam menentukan pilihan, tentunya sedikit kesulitan dalam menentukan pilihan yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan mahasiswa dalam menentukan pilihan rumah kos yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan melalui konsep sistem pendukung keputusan. Metode yang digunakan adalah TOPSIS (Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) dengan kriteria harga sewa, jarak ke kampus, fasilitas, lingkungan sekitar, dan keamanan. Untuk memudahkan penggunaannya, dirancang aplikasi berbasis web dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database MySQL. Hasil perhitungan menggunakan metode TOPSIS menunjukkan bahwa kos putri yang paling direkomendasikan adalah Kos Randri House, dengan nilai akhir 0,774, yang memiliki jarak terdekat dengan solusi ideal positif.

Abstract

Artificial neural networks (ANNs) are a part of artificial intelligence that applies the concept of how the biological neural network in humans operates. The primary advantage of ANNs lies in their ability to recognize specific patterns, such as the pattern notation of logic functions tested in this study using the McCulloch-Pitts model. Testing the pattern recognition of logic functions, involving AND, OR, and XOR operators, entails input variables: values X1, X2, and other input values (Xn), as well as target values (t) that match the truth table forms of each logic function. The test results indicate the alignment of the testing process using the concept of artificial neural networks with the patterns of logic functions. The implementation of the test is carried out using the Python programming language, which can produce conformity in the pattern forms of logic functions. The testing process is conducted by determining input values for each variable used in the logic functions, inputting weights (W) for each input value, and setting a threshold value directly to obtain results that align the output with the target.

Abstract

In an agency, visits from other institutions and the general public frequently occur. To record these visits, an officer manages a guest book where visitors log their presence and state their purpose. However, the conventional method of using a guest book is susceptible to damage and leads to the accumulation of physical books. Additionally, summarizing visit data daily, weekly, monthly, or annually becomes challenging. Therefore, there is a need for digital modernization of visitor recording to align with the smart government concept implemented in government agencies. The proposed solution is to design a web-based guest book information system that will facilitate visitor data recording, visit monitoring, and visit summarization according to the needs of the leadership at the Regional Office of Law and Human Rights in Banda Aceh. To achieve optimal results, this study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method combined with the waterfall software development approach. The design process includes creating use case diagrams, conceptualizing database table relations, and utilizing the PHP programming language with the Bootstrap framework to ensure an easy-to-use interface. With this guest book information system, visitors will no longer need to fill out conventional guest books, and the Regional Office of Law and Human Rights in Banda Aceh will not require traditional guest book archiving. All visitor data, visit logs, and visit summaries will be stored in a system accessible to relevant parties as needed.
