Abstract

Krupuk kulit sapi merupakan salah satu produk makanan yang ditemukan di Lombok, memiliki rasa yang renyah dan enak. Penggunaan kulit sapi sebagai bahan utama juga sering dikombinasikan dengan rempah-rempah lokal yang khas, memberikan cita rasa unik dan autentik yang sulit ditemukan di produk lainnya. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah pendampingan dan praktik pembuatan kulit sapi (Lendong) khas Lombok di Dusun Montong Belo, Desa Bujak, Kecamatan Batukliang. Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Metode kegiatan ini adalah demonstrasi dan pendampingan proses pembuatan krupuk kulit. Langkah-langkah pembuatan krupuk kulit ini antara lain: Pembersihan kulit sapi dari bulu dan kotoran, pemberian rempah-rempah, penjemuran, pemotongan, perendaman menggunakan minyak goring dengan suhu sedang dan penggorengan krupuk. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini bahwa sosialisasi pembuatan krupuk kulit (Lendong) khas sasak terlaksana dengan lancar. Proses pembuatan krupuk kulit dilaksanakan dengan 6 tahapan yaitu, pembersihan kulit dari bulu dan kotoran, pemberian rempah-rempah, penjemuran, pemotongan, perendaman menggunakan minyak goreng dengan suhu sedang dan penggorengan krupuk untuk siap disajikan. Peserta pengabdian sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan dari awal hingga selesai. Diskusi dan tanya jawab terkait langkah-langkah pembuatan krupuk kulit khas Lombok cukup aktif. Tiap tahapan didemonstrasikan oleh peserta hingga memahami secara seksama tahap pembuatan krupuk.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of interests and talents, facilities and learning motivation on students achievement (IPK). The population in this study were students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and students of the Faculty of Health Science in Universitas Nahdlatul Wathan Mataram, Indonesia. Samples used in this study were 33 students who were taken randomly. Data collection instruments using a questionnaire with a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability before. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that: 1) learning facilities and motivation have a significant positive effect on student achievement (IPK), 2) interests and talents have no effect on student achievement (IPK), and 3) interests and talents, facilities and learning motivation simultaneously have an effect on significant on student learning achievement (IPK).

Abstract

One of the biggest causes of death in the world is degenerative diseases, even in Indonesia which increases annually. Some kind of degenerative disease rank in the top 10 among them: heart disease, uric acid, diabetes mellitus, hypertension and others require hospitalization or hospitalization outpatient treatment at a hospital or medical center, also results premature aging due to a decline in collagen and elastic growth free radicalized skin. The disease is not contagious but chronic because of cellular dysfunction and organs. The cause is free radicals and also affected by lifestyle. Preventing the negative effects of free radicals with antioxidant compounds and tamarind fruits contain compounds The antioxidants. The aim of this study is to test activities Antioxidants on the tamarind fruits are young and old, after all comparing the results of both. Methods is used in this research is a DPPH method of testing to find out how high antioxidal activity tamarind fruits young and old. The test results of antioxidant activity young and old tamarind fruit indicates that old Javanese acid has the higher antioxidal activity is 85.28, while the fruit young javanese acid 78.87%. Keywords: antioxidal activit, free radicals, degenerative disease dan DPPH.

Abstract

Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is a maincrop cultivated by farmers in Indonesia. The demand for rice has increased, but rice production has decreased due to attacks by plant pests, including pathogen blast disease. This research aims to (i) determine the symptoms of blast disease in upland rice in Lombok, (ii) determine the incidence of blast disease in upland rice in Lombok, (iii) and identify the pathogen that causes blast disease in upland rice in Lombok. The research was conducted in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. A sampling of rice crop tissue infected by blast disease was taken from 50  dryland locations in Lombok West Nusa Tenggara. From each point, three samples of rice crops with blast symptoms were taken to obtain 150 samples. Samples are then isolated and identified at the macroscopic, microscopic, and molecular levels. The study results showed that the macroscopic characteristics of rice leaves were rhombus-shaped and brown, and the pathogen produced white mycelium with a fine structure. In contrast, microscopic characteristics showed that the shape of the hyphae was septate, the structure of conidiophore with autophagic cell death, long pyriform microconidia, and long pyriform macroconidia. Based on 18S rRNA gene analysis, the Blast Lombok isolate had a DNA fragment of ±550bp. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the cause of blast disease in upland rice in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, is P. oryzae.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the types and distribution of rice varieties cultivated in dry land of Central Lombok as a basis for developing sustainable agriculture in the region. The research method used a randomized block design with several local and superior rice varieties as treatments. The study was conducted with a quantitative descriptive approach at 40 cultivation locations. The results showed that the inpari 32 variety was planted more on dry land in Central Lombok Regency with 19 planting locations, then the inpago 8 variety with 7 locations, the inpari 34 variety with 5 locations, the inpagi variety with 10, inpago 9, and the local bulu variety with 3 locations each. While the planting locations of the inpago 10, inpago 8, inpago 9, inpari 32, and inpari 34 varieties were generally planted in the lowlands. While the local bulu rice was generally planted in the highlands or hills. The results of the study prove that there is significant variation between varieties in their ability to adapt to dry land conditions, with several local varieties showing better resistance to drought stress, water utilization efficiency, and yield stability.

Abstract

Fusarium wilt disease caused by Fusarium sp. is one of the main obstacles in the cultivation of shallots (Allium cepa L.), because it can significantly reduce the quality and quantity of crops. This study aims to test the level of pathogenicity of Fusarium solani and analyze the effect of disease attacks on the growth and yield of shallot plants. The study used a two-factor Complete Random Design (RAL) with 6 treatment combinations and 3 replicas on three varieties of shallots inoculated with Fusarium solani. Growth parameters and disease intensity were analyzed using ANOVA and DMRT test at 5%. The results of the study showed that the fungus Fusarium solani f.sp. Cepae has been shown to have high virulence in shallots, indicated by a short incubation period (3-6 days) and an attack rate of up to 100% in all varieties tested. This pathogenic infection decreases vegetative growth (plant height and number of leaves) as well as yield (fresh and dry weight). The Keta Monca variety shows relatively better resistance than the Bima Brebes and Super Philip varieties, although there is no variety that is completely resistant to Fusarium solani attacks. Fusarium solani infection not only inhibits vegetative growth, but also significantly decreases yields. These findings confirm that Fusarium solani has high pathogenicity and has the potential to be a serious threat in onion cultivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to comprehensively examine the role of blue carbon in mangrove ecosystems, with an emphasis on the capacity and dynamics of carbon storage. This research is library research, with the PRISMA approach. Literature search is carried out systematically through several major scientific databases, namely Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and SpringerLink. The literature selection process was carried out by referring to the principle of Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). The selection stage includes article identification through the database, initial screening by removing duplicate articles, relevance assessment based on titles and abstracts, and feasibility evaluation through full text review. Data analysis was carried out descriptive-quantitative through the narrative synthesis method. The results of the study show that the mangrove ecosystem is one of the main components of blue carbon with a very high carbon storage capacity, especially in sediment compartments that are stable in the long term. The dynamics of mangrove blue carbon are influenced by the interaction between biological, physical, and chemical processes, such as vegetation productivity, litter accumulation, and sediment trapping by mangrove root systems. The carbon storage capacity of mangrove ecosystems varies between regions and is influenced by biotic and abiotic factors, including species composition, age and stand density, hydrological conditions, and substrate type. In addition to serving as carbon sinks and stores, mangrove ecosystems have strategic implications in climate change mitigation as nature-based solutions. However, the degradation and conversion of mangrove land have the potential to release stored carbon into the atmosphere and reduce mitigation capacity in the future. So that the conservation and sustainable management of mangroves is an important step in maintaining the function of blue carbon and supporting climate change mitigation efforts.

Abstract

Household plastic waste becomes an increasingly serious environmental problem if not managed properly. This community service activity aims to improve public knowledge, skills, and awareness in managing plastic waste through training in making creative decorations based on recycling. Participants in the activity were housewives and youth in Perampuan Village, Labuapi District, West Lombok Regency. The implementation method uses an experiential learning approach through stages of socialization, environmental education, introduction to recycled product innovations, training in making decorations, and evaluation and reflection. The results of the activity showed high enthusiasm from the participants, where all participants succeeded in producing at least one type of decoration independently. As many as 90% of participants showed an increase in understanding of the impact of plastic waste and the principles of 3R management. In addition to mastering technical skills, this activity also gave rise to creative economy-based entrepreneurial ideas from some participants. This community service activity provides a positive contribution in building environmental awareness, empowering the community economically, and supporting community-based plastic waste management efforts.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the physiological response of Oreochromis niloticus at different water temperatures using laboratory experimental methods (experimental research carried out under controlled conditions and allows for systematic and accurate measurements). The observation method uses descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that when Oreochromis niloticus is in a water environment with low temperatures (140 C and 200C), the movement of the operculum will decrease. This is due to an increase in dissolved oxygen levels and cold-water temperatures will affect the metabolism of the fish body. Whereas when Oreochromis niloticus is in a water environment with high temperatures (320 C, and 380 C), operculum movement will increase. The increase in operculum movement is caused by a decrease in dissolved oxygen levels.
