Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the effect of managerial ownership and leverage on the firm value. The population in this study are all chemical industry companies listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange that have data (managerial ownership, leverage and firm value) years 2015 until 2018. This research used secondary data. Data collection techniques used documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used in this research is path analysis. These results indicate that managerial ownership and leverage simultaneously and partially affect the firm value.Key Words: Managerial ownership, Leverage, Firm Value

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to: 1) determine the relationship between the success of the cooperative and the participation of members of the Jaya Bersama Cooperative Ikatan Keluarga Kuantan Singingi (IKKS) Tanah Merah Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir Regency; and 2) knowing the relationship between organizational management and the participation of members of the Jaya Bersama Ikatan Keluarga Kuantan Singingi (IKKS) in Tanah Merah Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir Regency; 3) knowing the relationship between the success of cooperatives and the organizational management of the Jaya Cooperative Together with the Ikatan Keluarga Kuantan Singingi (IKKS) Tanah Merah Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir Regency; and 4) knowing the relationship between the success of cooperatives and organizational management with the participation of members of the Cooperative Jaya Together with the Ikatan Keluarga Kuantan Singingi (IKKS) Tanah Merah Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The population in this study were all members of the cooperative with a total of 97 people. The sampling technique used a saturated sample so that the entire population of 97 people was the research sample. The data analysis technique used is multiple correlation. The results of the study indicate that the success of cooperatives and cooperative management has a positive and significant relationship to the participation of members of the Jaya Bersama Cooperative Ikatan Keluarga Kuantan Singingi (IKKS) Tanah Merah Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir Regency.Keywords: Cooperative Success, Organizational Management, and Member Participation

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose ofthis research is to examine and analyze the effect of capital structure on dividend policy. The population of this study are companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange which have complete data on the Debt Equity Ratio and Dividend Payout Ratio for 5consecutive years (2015-2019). This type of research variable data is secondary data obtained by documentation techniques sourced from ICMD. Methods of data analysis using regression. The result of research that have been carried out show that capital structure has a significant effect on dividend policy.Key Words: Capital Structure, Debt Equity Ratio (DER), Dividend Policy, Dividen Payout Ratio (DPR).

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of institutional ownership on agency costs in manufacturing companies in the basic and chemical industrial sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (2015-2019 period). The population of this study is all manufacturing companies that have data on institutional ownership and agency costs listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The Companies are limited by using specific criteria or types that can provide the required information, which is 9 companies. This study uses secondary data derived from the financial statements of each company as well as from other sources such as supporting records in the company and supporting websites through www.idx.co.id or the website of each company regarding reports company finances. The analytical technique used in this research is simple linear regression with the help of the statistical software package for social science (SPSS). The results of this study indicate that if using a significant value of 5%, institutional ownership has no significant effect on agency costs. this is evidanced by the result of the t test which shows that t_count is 1.206 and t_table is 2.01669. the higher the institutional ownership, the lower the agency costs.Key Word: Institutional Ownership, Agency Cost.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to reexamine and analyze the influence of company size, leverage and net profit margin on the profit growth of mining companies in the coal sub sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population of this research is the coal sub-sector mining companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BE), totaling 8 companies. This research uses purposive sampling with the observation year 2019-2022 and has complete data in accordance with the research objectives which cover 32 years of observation. The form of data from this research is secondary, obtained using documentation techniques sourced from ICMD. The data analysis method in this research uses path analysis with the help of the SPSS program package. The results of this research show that company size have a positive influence on profit growth, leverage not have a negative influence on profit growth while net profit margin has a positive influence on profit growth. The results of this research are expected to be useful for: (1) Companies must be able to increase profits every year by using assets optimally, reducing company costs and reducing debt (2) Investors, by using the voice they have, must pay more attention to the components that influence profit (3) Academics, can provide input in learning financial accounting material, especially discussions regarding financial report analysis material.Keywords: Firm size, leverage, net profit margin, profit growth

Abstract

Abstract: The development of the food stall business in Pasir Turtle District, Indragiri Hulu Regency can be said to be a business that is not developing. This can be proven by the decrease in the number of food stall businesses from year to year. The decrease in the number of businesses was due to not implementing the right marketing strategy, which had an impact on the number of consumers they had and the income they received. This research aims to determine the influence of marketing strategy on business development. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The data collection methods used were interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The population in this study were all food stall business actors in Pasir Penyu District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, totaling 117 business actors. The sampling technique used purposive sampling so that a sample of 36 business actors was obtained. The data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that there is an influence of marketing strategy on business development. This can be seen from the results of data analysis which shows that the tcount value of 5,284 is greater than the ttable value of 2,032 and the resulting significant value is 0,000 <0,05. The contribution of marketing strategy to business development is 45,1%. For further research, it is hoped that it can expand the research object and can examine other factors that can influence business development so that the research results obtained can be better, more accurate, and obtain satisfactory results.Key Words: Marketing strategy, Business development

Abstract

Pharmaceutical care based on WHO patient care indicators in various developing countries, including Indonesia, have not met the requirements. Puskesmas accreditation is expected to improve pharmaceutical care that has an impact on rational drug use. The purpose of the study was to analyze pharmacy care based on WHO patient care indicators in all sub-district health centers (9 health centers not yet accredited and 2 health centers already accredited) in Depok City. This study used a cross-sectional design and was carried out in December 2016-February 2017. The sample was adult patients from general poly and accompanying patients from integrated management of sick toddlers who met the inclusion criteria, as well as all prescription drugs taken. There were 30 respondents and 30 prescriptions for each sub-district health center. Data collection was done through interviews and observation of respondents and analysis of the recipe sheets. Data analysis used Mann-Whitney and Chi-square tests. The results show that the sub-district health centers have not been accredited which meets WHO recommendations for preparation time and delivery of drugs (> 3 minutes) of 77.8% and those who are 100% accredited. None of the sub-district health centers in Depok City meet WHO recommendations for the suitability of drug delivery, adequate drug labeling and patients with correct drug knowledge (= 100%). Abstract

This paper documents the influence of the quality of financial accounting learning on financial literacy and its impact on financial self-efficacy. The research uses quantitative descriptive methods through simple linear regression analysis techniques. The research was carried out at the Vocational School of Labor under FKIP, Riau University in the Accounting and Finance Skills Department Program. The population used in this research were students with competency skills in accounting and financial institutions, namely, classes XI and XII in the academic year 2021/2022, all of whom were 90 students studied (census). The research results show that the quality of financial accounting learning influences the financial literacy of students at the Vocational School of Labor under the guidance of FKIP, Riau University. Financial literacy influences students' financial self-efficacy. Quality learning will help in understanding, assessing, and acting in managing students' finances and financial self-efficacy

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis fluktuasi kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa SDIT Aqila Zahra Dumai berdasarkan data rapor pendidikan 2021–2024, dengan tujuan memahami kondisi, faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta upaya peningkatan kualitas. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi, observasi, dan wawancara dengan pihak sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi melalui evaluasi berkelanjutan dan keterlibatan aktif semua pemangku kepentingan. Faktor pendukung mencakup komunikasi intensif antara sekolah, orang tua, dan siswa, serta integrasi nilai agama. Namun, keterbatasan sumber daya dan pengelolaan data menjadi hambatan utama. Melalui kurikulum terstruktur dan evaluasi berkesinambungan, SDIT Aqila Zahra Dumai berhasil meningkatkan kualitas rapor pendidikan. Fokus pada literasi, numerasi, dan transparansi mencerminkan komitmen sekolah dalam memastikan perbaikan berkelanjutan untuk mendukung keberhasilan pendidikan siswa secara holistik.

Abstract

Financial behavior is an action that aids individuals in managing their finances effectively. This study aims to analyze the impact of financial attitudes and peer influence on financial behavior, with financial literacy as a mediating factor among students. Conducted from February to June 2023 in the Economics Education Study Program at Universitas Riau, this research collected data through questionnaires and documentation. A total of 115 students participated, selected using a saturated sampling technique (census). Participants included undergraduate students in the 2020 class from Accounting, Cooperatives, and SMEs courses. Data analysis utilized Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on variance, specifically Partial Least Square (PLS), with SmartPLS 4.0 software, and an independent T-test on SPSS to assess gender differences in peer influence. The results indicated that financial attitudes and peer influence affect financial behavior through financial literacy. Furthermore, gender differences were observed in financial behavior, influencing decision-making. Therefore, students are encouraged to develop positive financial attitudes and surround themselves with financially knowledgeable peers to enhance their financial decision-making skills.
