Abstract

Learning outcomes in the 21st century require students to have the ability to think critically, carry out analysis, and find solutions. This research aims to determine the increase in students' cognitive learning outcomes after using e-handout-based PBL and to determine students' responses to e-handouts. This research method is the Research and Development (RD) uses the ADDIE model. This research is a nonequivalent control group design. The subjects in this research were expert validators, physics teachers, and 11th-grade students from State Senior High School 1 Syamtalira Aron. The research instruments use multiple choice test instruments, validation sheets, interview sheets, observation sheets and student questionnaires. Qualitative descriptive analysis technique is the data analysis technique used. The assessment results based on validation by e-handout-based PBL material experts obtained an average percentage for all aspects of 92.3% in the very good/decent category, e-handout-based PBL media experts obtained an average score of 90%. with the very appropriate category, and student responses obtained an average score of 89% in the "very good" category. The results of the experimental class analysis of the N-gain score were 71.02% in the "high" category. the control class obtained a score of 56.56% in the "medium" category. Based on data hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample t-test, the sig (2-tailed) value was 0.000. From the hypothesis it can be concluded that problem-based learning-based e-handouts are suitable for use and can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

The Edmodo-assisted classroom flipped classroom model is a learning process by applying the flipped classroom model with the help of Edmodo to deliver learning materials. This study aims to determine the improvement of students' understanding of concepts in sound wave material. The type of research used is pre-experimental design. The design of this study used the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique that the researchers chose was purposive sampling of 40 students consisting of 20 students experimental class and control class. The research instruments used are observation sheets and student concept comprehension tests. The data analysis techniques used are learning implementation analysis, calculating the value of students' concept understanding results and N-gain score. The average N-Gain score for the control class was 0.69 with a moderate category. While the average N-Gain score for the experimental class is 0.77, which is included in the high category. So, it can be known that there is an increase in the understanding of students' concepts in the experimental class who apply the Edmodo-assisted flipped classroom model to sound wave material. This increased understanding of the concept occurred because the experimental class implemented an Edmodo-assisted flipped classroom model. In the flipped classroom model, students first learn to understand the learning materials uploaded by the teacher through Edmodo. Learning materials in the form of videos can be played repeatedly through Edmodo, so that students can learn anywhere and anytime without any time limit according to their respective learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of project-based learning models to improve students' conceptual understanding of elasticity and Hooke's law at SMA Negeri 1 Syamtalira Bayu. This research is a research quasi-experimental design. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The samples in this study were students of class XI IPA 4 as the control class with 27 students and class XI IPA 3 as the experimental class with 27 students. The results of the research data analysis showed that the N-Gain normalized obtained an average value of increasing understanding of the concepts of practical class students, namely 0.46 in the medium category, while the control class was 0.30 in the low sort. The test analysis results of the independent sample test for the experimental class and control class are 0.03 0.05. It can conclude that using learning models, project-based learning can improve students' understanding of concepts on elasticity and Hooke's law at SMA Negeri 1 Syamtalira Bayu.
