Abstract

This research is motivated by problems at SMK Pembangunan Bukittinggi, where there is a lack of learning media during the learning process. This causes students to tend to play rather than listen to the teacher when explaining the material. During the learning process, teachers only use limited printed books, so students lose interest due to the lack of variety in the learning methods presented. Therefore, interesting and creative educational resources are needed to increase students' learning motivation. This research adopts the Research and Development (R&D) model, which is used to produce and test a product. This research model follows the 4D approach (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The validity of the product was tested by three experts in the field, the practicality was tested by Computer and Network Engineering teachers at SMK Pembangunan Bukittinggi, and the effectiveness was tested by students at the school. The test results showed a validity value of 0.83, a practicality of 0.93, and an effectiveness of 0.79. Thus, it can be concluded that the design of animation-based wired and wireless network technology learning media at SMK Pembangunan Bukittinggi is said to be very effective.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the difficulty of teachers in the learning process of workshops due to limited facilities and infrastructure, as well as higher student interest in technology-based learning media due to its accessibility. The purpose of this research is to design a workshop learning media for class VII using Google Sites at SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with Luther Sutopo's Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) development model. This model consists of six stages: conception, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The results showed that the designed learning media was declared valid, practical, and effective based on the product test results. The validity test resulted in an average score of 0.82 (valid category), the practicality test obtained an average score of 0.89 (very high category), and the effectiveness test obtained an average score of 0.84 (high effectiveness category). It is expected that this learning media can improve the quality of workshop learning, provide convenience for teachers, and motivate students in the learning process. The implication of this research is that the integration of technology in learning can be an innovative solution to overcome the limitations of facilities and infrastructure, while encouraging the creation of more interesting and effective learning.

Abstract

Learning media plays an important role as a tool in facilitating the teaching and learning process. The use of learning media is essential in simplifying complex concepts, such as electrical energy circuits, to increase students' engagement and interest in science subjects. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) methodology that aims to design and produce audiovisual-based learning media for integrated science subjects on the topic of “electrical energy circuits” for grade VI students at SDN 20 Limo Balai. The developed learning media is designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the learning process in science education in elementary schools. The research findings show that the audiovisual-based learning media significantly supports teachers and students in the teaching and learning process. The media achieved a validity score of 0.56, categorized as valid, a practicality score of 0.87, indicating that the media is very practical, and an effectiveness score of 0.77, which is categorized as effective. These results indicate the high feasibility and suitability of the developed media as a science learning aid in elementary schools.

Abstract

Perancangan sistem informasi pembayaran SPP dan Catering menjadi solusi untuk pengelolaan data keuangan yang masih dilakukan dengan cara manual, sehingga mengakibatkan kendala dalam penelolaan data, laporan keuangan dan lamanya waktu Menyusun laporan keuangan. Penulis melakukan penelitian terbatas di Pondok Pesantren Madinatul Munawwarah Bukitinggi dengan tujuan untuk merancang suatu sistem informasi Pembayaran SPP dan Catering .Metode penelitian yang penulis gunakan yaitu metode Research & Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Model ini terdiri dari lima pengembangan sistem yaitu Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement dan Evaluate. Hasil dari penelitian in ikan dibuktikan menggunakan uji produk yang meluputi uji validitas produk yang diujikan pada para ahli, uji praktikalitas di ujikan pada bagian administrasi dan uji efektifitas diujikan pada siswa Pondok pesantren madinatul munawwarah bukittinggi. Untuk melihat hasil dari masing-masing uji produk. Penulis menggunakan angket dalam mengumpul data. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil kelayakan validitas dengan rata-rata 0,83 sedangkan hasil kelayakan praktikalitas dengan rata-rata 0,91 sedangkan hasil kelayakan efektifitas didapatkan rata-rata 0,96. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan Perancangan Sistem Informasi SPP dan Catering layak digunakan.

Abstract

The professional competence of a teacher has a crucial role in transferring knowledge to students. Learning media becomes the teacher's main tool in the knowledge transfer process, with impacts that include improving cognitive, psychomotor and effective aspects of students' learning outcomes. To achieve this goal, teacher creativity and innovation in delivering material, both through direct delivery and the use of learning media, are key. One of the innovations that can be developed is the creation of learning media that can foster students' interest in learning independently or with the help of teachers.Learning media, as an intermediary in learning, can be visual or non-visual, such as video, text, and audio known as multimedia. Although technology has developed, not all teachers are able to utilize multimedia in learning. Effective learning design for subjects in elementary school should be able to attract and motivate students in accordance with the learning objectives.

Abstract

Peran media pendidikan digital sangat penting di bidang pendidikan. Pondok Pesantren Madinatul Munawwarah Bukittinggi salah satunya. Para penulis memahami bahwa sementara pengajaran Informatika sebagian besar menggunakan metode praktis, penggunaan teknologi di kelas tidak begitu luas karena sebagian besar media yang digunakan adalah presentasi PowerPoint. Hal ini dilihat kurang efektif dalam pelaksanaannya. Dengan demikian tujuan penelitian ini untuk merancang media pembelajaran informatika dengan menggunakan canva  agar dapat mengingkatkan keefektifan proses pembelajaran. Peneliti merancang media pembelajaran Informatika menggunakan canva  di Pondok Pesantren Madinatul Munawwarah Bukittinggi menggunakan metode pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan pendekatan versi 4D, yaitu Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Uji Validitas, Uji Praktikalitas, dan uji Efektivitas. Hasil penelitian berupa media pembelajaran Informatika yang digunakan oleh guru pada mata pelajaran Informatika. Hasil uji validitas yang diperoleh dari 3 orang validator diperoleh nilai rata-rata 0,89 dengan kriteria valid, hasil praktikalitas yang diperoleh dari 2 orang penguji nilai rata – rata 0,88 dengan kriteria sangat tinggi, dan hasil efektifitas yang diperoleh dari 19 orang siswa dengan nilai rata – rata 0,80 dengan kriteria Sangat Efektif.

Abstract

Hasil suatu karya arsitek alumni DPIB saat ini tidak dipublikasikan di publik dan hanya dikumpulkan dalam bentuk buku. Seharusnya karya arsitek alumni DPIB dipublikasikan lewat internet untuk dapat diinformasikan kepada masyarakat luas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dan model ADDIE. Sistem ini dirancang untuk memudahkan jurusan dalam menyebarluaskan informasi jasa desain bangunan alumni secara luas terhadap semua kalangan. Metode R&D digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pengguna dan mengembangkan solusi yang tepat, sementara model ADDIE memungkinkan pengembangan sistem secara bertahap dan berkelanjutan. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah promosi jasa berbasis website yang digunakan oleh kepala jurusan DPIB selaku admin untuk mengupload hasil desain alumni DPIB secara online, yang kemudian dapat diakses oleh masyarakat untuk informasi jasa desain. Kontribusi penelitian adalah sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan akurasi dan efisiensi dalam penyerbarluasan informasi jasa desain alumni, serta meminimalisir keterbatasan informasi yang sering terjadi pada sistem manual. Uji produk yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji validitas dengan menggunakan rumus statistik Aiken’s V, uji praktikalitas dengan menggunakan moment kappa dan uji efektivitas dengan menggunakan rumus statistik Richard R. Hake (G-Score). Hasil uji validitas produk dengan dua orang ahli di bidang pemrograman dan satu orang ahli di bidang kebahasaan diperoleh nilai rata-rata akhir yaitu 0,94 dikategorikan sangat valid, hasil uji praktikalitas dengan sepuluh orang bapak/ibu guru di SMP Negeri 2 Payakumbuh diperoleh nilai 0,79 dikategorikan dengan tingkat kepraktisan tinggi, dan hasil uji efektivitas dengan dua orang guru informatika diperoleh nilai 0,91 dikategorikan dengan tingkat keefektifan sangat tinggi.

Abstract

Pustakawan sekolah SMK Kesehatan Gema Nusantara Bukittinggi akan merasakan manfaat sistem informasi perpustakaan berbasis web ini dalam mengelola perpustakaan sekolah. Menyelesaikan penelitian ini menggunakana model Research and Development (R&D). Model ini diterapkan untuk membuat sebuah produk tertentu dan menguji produk tersebut. Model R&D pada penelitian ini menerapkan model pengembangan increment dengan empat tahapan yaitu Analysis – Design – Code – Test. Saat menguji suatu produk, tiga kriteria dipertimbangkan: kepraktisan, efektivitas, dan validitas. Temuan dari evaluasi validitas produk yang dilakukan oleh tiga programmer ahli dan satu orang ahli di bidang kebahasaan diperoleh nilai 0,83 dikategorikan valid, hasil uji praktikalitas dengan tiga orang petugas perpustakaan di SMK Kesehatan Gema Nusantara Bukittinggi diperoleh nilai 0,96 dikategorikan dengan tingkat kepraktisan tinggi, dan hasil uji efektivitas dengan lima orang guru dan lima orang siswa diperoleh nilai 0,90 dikategorikan dengan tingkat keefektifan tinggi. Maka dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan produk Sistem Informasi Perpustakaan Berbasis Customer Relationship Management di SMK Kesehatan Gema Nusantara Bukittinggi sudah valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk digunakan.

Abstract

The Sanjai Chips UMKM is a typical Minangkabau business engaged in food sales. Based on the results of an interview with the store owner, it was found that the owner still uses traditional methods of selling, which has led to the stagnation of the Sanjai Chips business. The promotion process for Sanjai Chips faces several challenges, particularly the lack of an online promotional platform. Additionally, the store's location is difficult for the general public to find. This is because the Sanjai Chips store does not have a website that can provide information about the products sold. To increase the sales of Sanjai Chips, a website is needed that can address these issues. In this digital era, we can take advantage of digital platforms that allow for broader sales reach, both locally and internationally. The goal of this article is to design a promotional system for the home industry of Sanjai Chips using the practical and effective OpenCart CMS. This study uses the PPE (planning, production, and evaluation) method. The research successfully designed an OpenCart-based promotional system to support the online marketing of Sanjai Chips, making it attractive, valid, practical, and effective. The designed system includes several main features such as a product catalog complete with images, descriptions, prices, and order management to facilitate customers in ordering the products they want. It is hoped that this research will result in a website that attracts customers from any region, enabling them to place orders without having to visit the store directly.

Abstract

Medan, North Sumatra, has great potential in the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), especially in home industries that produce local speciality products. However, challenges such as limited market access and low utilisation of digital technology are the main obstacles for MSME players in expanding marketing reach and increasing competitiveness. This research aims to design OpenCart-based digital promotional media as an innovative solution in supporting the development of MSMEs in the region. The research was conducted using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) approach. At the analysis stage, the needs of MSME players and product characteristics were identified to ensure a relevant and effective solution. The design stage involves creating an OpenCart-based system designed to support product catalogues, online payment systems, as well as integration with social media. Next, the development stage realised key features tailored to user needs. System implementation is done through direct testing with MSME players in Medan. Finally, the evaluation stage measures the effectiveness of the platform through user feedback and sales data analysis. The results show that OpenCart-based digital promotion media can significantly increase the visibility of MSME products. Within the first three months, businesses reported an increase in sales of up to 25% thanks to the use of this platform. This research concludes that OpenCart-based digital promotional media can be a strategic step to support the digital transformation of MSMEs, improve competitiveness, and expand their marketing reach in the digital era.
