Abstract

"Little Pharmacist" is a program to empower children by providing a basic understanding of the duties and roles of pharmacists, the names of medicines, indication, dosage forms, and how to use them correctly. The “Little Pharmacist” program aims to introduce the pharmacist profession and increase general knowledge about medicines from an early age. Providing activities for children must use interesting, child-friendly and innovative methods through learning experiences. The aim of this community service activity is to increase children's knowledge, especially grade 5 students at SDN 02 Candirejo, about the names of medicines, their properties, dosage forms and the correct way to use them. Community service activities carried out using a demonstration approach and discusion sessions will make it easier for elementary school children to learn about medicines in an easy and fun way so that children can absorb knowledge well. This community service activity was attended by 25 grade 5 students of SDN 02 Candirejo, West Ungaran District, Semarang Regency. The implementation uses a demonstration method, where the service team provides knowledge about the name of the drug, dosage form, indications, and the correct way to use it through the experience of seeing the drug product. Evaluation of the success of the activity is measured by observing students when demonstrating their learning experiences about drugs. As a result, each student was able to identify a medicinal product including the name of the drug, dosage form, indications and how to use it properly.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Mahasiswa program studi sarjana farmasi sebagai calon tenaga kesehatan dimasa mendatang perlu memiliki kompetensi literasi kesehatan digital untuk menjawab tuntutan perkembangan pelayanan kesehatan di era digitalisasi. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui kompetensi literasi kesehatan digital pada mahasiswa program studi sarjana farmasi Universitas Ngudi Waluyo. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi sarjana farmasi dengan sampel sebanyak 72 responden menggunakan teknik Proportional Stratified Random Sampling. Instrumen pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan Digital Health Literacy Competencies for Citizen (DHLC) dengan 26 pernyataan yang sudah teruji validitasnya. Analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah univariat dengan metode analisis deskriptif dan bivariat dengan menggunakan uji Kruskal Wallis. Hasil: Berdasarkan sampel mahasiswa program studi farmasi Universitas Ngudi Waluyo sebanyak (86,1%) berjenis kelamin perempuan dan (13,9%) berjenis kelamin laki-laki. Secara keseluruhan rata-rata setiap angkatan yaitu angkatan 2021, angkatan 2022 dan angkatan 2023 memiliki kategori kompetensi yang sama yaitu mandiri tingkat lanjut. Hasil statistik menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara tingkat kompetensi dengan angkatan responden penelitian dengan nilai p-value 0,609. Simpulan: Kompetensi literasi kesehatan digital mahasiswa program studi sarjana farmasi berada pada kategori mandiri tingkat lanjut.

Abstract

Background: The Indonesia Ministry of Health has established six pillars of health transformation, one of which is health technology transformation. Pharmacist as a professional  health care must have digital health competency to contribute to the success of digital health transformation in Indonesia. Objective: This research aims to analyze and improve the digital health competency of Salatiga city pharmacists. Method: This research is a quasi-experimental research with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The number of participants was 30 pharmacists from the city of Salatiga. Digital health competency levels were measured before and after training using the Public Health Informatics Competencies for Primary Health Care (PHIC4PHC) questionnaire instrument. Competency levels are presented as ordinal data so that the Wilcoxon test is used to determine differences before and after intervention. Result: Participants in this study consisted of 63% pharmacists at pharmacies, 20% Primary Clinic pharmacists, and 17% Community Health Center pharmacists. Participants were aged between 26 and 47 years old with a period of pharmacist practice between 4 and 22 years. Analysis of respondents' digital health competency level before training obtained results of 2% basic level, 27% understanding level, 43% fluent level, and 23% expert level. Meanwhile, after 2 weeks of respondents applying the results of digital health training, there was an increase in respondents' competency to 30% fluent level and 70% expert level. The pharmacist's health competency increased significantly (p-value< 0.05). 20 participants increased their competency level, and 10 participants did not change their competency level. Conclusion: Digital health training has been proven to significantly increase the digital health competency of Salatiga city pharmacists. Abstract

Pharmacists/pharmacy services need to improve their professionalism in order to keep up with the rapid development of technology. Digitalization applied in the pharmaceutical world needs to be accompanied by a “human touch”. One of the efforts that can be made by IAI PC Salatiga City members is to understand and innovate in the use of health service technology. The solution to the problems that occur is to conduct training and understanding of digital transformation which has now become a necessity for the industrial world, especially the pharmaceutical sector. One of the factors that accelerates the process, so that many business operations today can be shortened and more efficient due to digitalization. One of the important characteristics of the pharmacist profession is adaptability. There was a significant increase in participants' knowledge before and after the training, this was based on the increasing enthusiasm of the participants in asking questions and actively participating in this activity. The IAI Salatiga City pharmacy digitalization training is expected to create enthusiasm to be able to continue to develop the knowledge and insights of participants, especially members of the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI) PC Salatiga City to improve services to the community.Suggestions for IAI PC Salatiga City members, frequent training activities for digitalization of pharmaceutical services and preparing members who understand digitalization to be able to achieve health development targets, especially the change from the analog to the digital era.

Abstract

Public expectations, views, and trust in pharmacist services are important because they affect service effectiveness and customer loyalty, which can ultimately improve pharmacy business processes. This study aims to analyze public expectations, views, and trust of pramacist services at the Karunia Sehat Baru Pharmacy in Semarang Regency. The method used is quantitative descriptive analysis with a cross-sectional approach, using a questionnaire to measure expectations (12 statements), views (5 statements), and trust (4 statements). The sample of this study was 92 consumers of the Karunia Sehat Baru pharmacy in December 2024. The results showed that 53 respondents (57.6%) had high expectations, 26 respondents (28.3%) had moderate expectations, and 13 respondents (14.1%) had low expectations. The highest expectations were especially regarding drug use education with a score of 93.48%. Public views on pharmacist services were very positive (90.2%), positive (5.4%) and negative (4.3%). The level of public trust in Karunia Sehat Baru pharmacists showed 67.4% in the high category, 29.3% in the medium category, and 3.3% in the low category. The conclusion of this study is that the public has high expectations, a very positive view, and high trust in the services of pharmacists at the Karunia Sehat Baru Pharmacy in Semarang Regency.   ABSTRAK Harapan, pandangan, dan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap pelayanan apoteker penting karena mempengaruhi efektivitas layanan dan loyalitas pelanggan, yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan proses bisnis apotek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis harapan, pandangan, dan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap pelayanan di Apotek Karunia Sehat Baru Kabupaten Semarang. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional, menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengukur harapan (12 pernyataan), pandangan (5 pernyataan), dan kepercayaan (4 pernyataan). Sampel penelitian ini sejumlah 92 konsumen apotek Karunia Sehat Baru di bulan Desember 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 53 responden (57,6%) memiliki harapan tinggi, 26 responden (28,3%) memiliki harapan sedang, dan 13 responden (14,1%) memiliki harapan rendah. Harapan paling tinggi khususnya tentang edukasi penggunaan obat dengan skor 93,48%. Pandangan Masyarakat terhadap pelayanan Apoteker sangat posotif (90,2%), positif (5,4%) dan negatif (4,3%). Tingkat kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap apoteker Karunia Sehat Baru menunjukkan 67,4% dengan kategori tinggi, 29,3% kategori sedang, dan 3,3% kategori rendah. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa masyarakat memiliki harapan yang tinggi, pandangan yang sangat positif, dan kepercayaan yang tinggi terhadap pelayanan Apoteker di Apotek Karunia Sehat Baru Kabupaten Semarang.

Abstract

Risk factors for Diabetes Melitus disease are one of the comorbidities that worsen the condition of the elderly. Many people do not know and understand about Diabetes Mellitus. Therefore, the purpose of this Community Service (PKM) is designed to provide education and understanding to the community about Diabetes Mellitus. So it is hoped that this activity can increase public awareness about controlling Diabetes Mellitus. This PKM activity is carried out by providing educational counseling related to Diabetes Mellitus, checking blood sugar and blood pressure for free, then education related to compliance with how to take medication properly and correctly. This activity was attended by 22 residents from Ngablak village. The results of the activity showed that 4 people (18%) had confirmed that they had Diabetes Melitus and 18 people (81%) had normal blood sugar levels. Therefore, through this PKM activity, we carried out a health check-up program in the form of free blood sugar level checks and blood pressure checks and health education, especially Diabetes Mellitus. By carrying out this service, we hope that the problems in Ngablak Village, especially in the health sector, can be resolved a little

Apoteker harus memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang masa pakai obat agar dapat menentukan dan menginformasikan masa pakai obat kepada pasien. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan dan penerapan informasi masa pakai obat non steril oleh apoteker Kota Salatiga. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah Apoteker anggota Ikatan Apoteker Indonesia (IAI) Kota Salatiga sebanyak 69 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrument yang digunakan kuesioner online, dimana jawaban benar diberi skor 1 dan salah 0. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat metode deskriptif. Berdasarkan penelitian, pengetahuan apoteker di Kota Salatiga tentang masa pakai obat non steril terbagi menjadi kategori baik (18,84%), cukup (11,6%), dan kurang (69,56%), dengan rata-rata tingkat pengetahuan apoteker 42,32% ± 24,62 yang tergolong dalam kategori kurang. Responden menyatakan penerapan informasi masa pakai obat sangat penting (86,96%), penting (11,59%), dan tidak penting (1,45%). Kendala yang dihadapi apoteker dalam menyampaikan informasi masa pakai obat antara lain : faktor pasien (71,85%), faktor lingkungan apotek kurang mendukung (23,30%), faktor apoteker (4,85%). Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu tingkat pengetahuan apoteker Kota Salatiga mengenai masa pakai obat non steril tergolong dalam kategori kurang, perlu keterampilan Apoteker untuk mengatasi kendala-kendala penyampaian informasi masa pakai obat.
