Abstract

Vocational High School aims to be able to prepare creative learners, master the science and technology, and have competence in accordance with the demands of the world of work. The quality of SMK graduates is not only determined by individual self-sufficiency factors, but the task is determined by outside tactics, one of which is the education that can prepare the graduates of the two demands for work. Science Program for Communities (IbM) aims to provide automotive technology training for teachers and students of SMK Negeri and Swasta in Solok district, IbM activities. The Vocational Competence Enhancement of Automotive Technology for Teachers and Students of SMK, it can increase knowledge and skills of trainers 13.88% in the the major, Automotive Technology.

Abstract

SMK students of Automotive department, Especially Light Vehicle Engineering, need some skills that will be used when students are finishing the study at school. One of the skill are they have good competency of electroni fuel injection system (EFI system). The purpose of the training program is to develop and improve the ability of automotive technology, especially ototronc technology, basic knowledge of EFI system, and to train and guide SMK student. For diagnostic and trouble shooting of EFI system. This training program uses the several method, i.e; presentation, watching video and animation of EFI system, discussion, demonstration, guidence and direct practical. After done this training, have improvement of knowledge and skill of trainee. On of indicator is improvement of postest value, i.e; have mean about 119% from pre-test value. Beside that, based on observation as long as training proggram, attitude and skills of trainees are better than befor.

Abstract

This research is aim to identify and also evaluate document about planning and budgeting of educational in regancy South of Solok and also formulate policy, program, activity of relevant educational so that can finish problems of education in regancy South of Solok. Data is used in this research is primary data and data of sekunder. Method analysis that is: method analyze classification of problem of educational, Analyze SWOT, and Analysis Planning and Budgeting of Education in the regancy South of Solok. Result of planning document analysis (educational RPJPD, education RPJMD, RKPD, Renstra and Renja of duty Education) and analysis budgeting document (KUA and APBD) in middle and elementary educational in regancy South of Solok, not yet followed compilation order pursuant with Law number 25/ 2004, about Systems Planning of National Development.

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan bertujuan untuk mampu menyiapkan peserta didik yang kreatif, menguasai ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, serta memiliki kompetensi yang sesuai dengan tuntutan dunia kerja. Kualitas lulusan SMK tidak hanya ditentukan oleh faktor individu dari siswa itu sendiri, akan tetapi juga sangat ditentukan oleh faktor dari luar, salah satunya komptensi pendidikan yang bisa menyiapkan lulusan sesuai dengan tuntutan dunia kerja. Program Kemitraan bagi Masyarakat (PKM) bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan  Peningkatan Kompetensi Kejuruan Teknologi Motor Diesel bagi Guru dan Siswa  SMK di kabupaten Solok, kegiatan PKM  dengan tema Peningkatan Kompetensi Kejuruan Teknologi Motor Diesel bagi Guru dan Siswa SMK, dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta pelatihan sebesar  15,45 % dibidang kompetensi kejuran Teknologi Motor Diesel.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the results of mixing pertalite with essential oils on fuel consumption and exhaust emissions on motorcycles. the type of research method is experimental research. From the data obtained for ideal rotation using pure pertalite fuel the average fuel consumption is 1233 seconds/50 ml, one liter pertalite mixed with essential oils 1.2 ml averages 1234 seconds/50 ml, one liter pertalite mixed essential oil 1 ,8 ml average 1237 seconds per 50 ml, one liter pertalite essential oil 2.4 ml average1259 seconds per 50 ml. The results of the CO exhaust emission test using pure pertalite, 1.2 ml & 1.8 ml essential oils were 0.04% while the essential oil 2.4 ml was 0.03%. Emissions testing on pure Co2 pertalite was 1.77%, pertalite with 1.2 ml was 1.80%, pertalite with volatile oil 1.8% was 1.87%, pertalite with essential oil 2.4% was 2. 10%. The emission test at pure HC pertalite was 875 ppm, 1.2 ml was 759 ppm, 1.8 ml was 658 ppm, and 2.4 ml was 629 ppm. The results of the research data that the mixture of pertalite with 20% essential oil is the most efficient in fuel and exhaust emissions.Keywords: Essential Oil, Pertalite, Fuel consumption, exhaust emissions

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian bertujuan mengukur efektivitas pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran problem solving. Populasi penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XI TKR 2 SMKN 3 Bungo Kabupaten Bungo Provinsi Jambi yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik total sampling sehingga keseluruhan populasi merupakan sampel penelitian. Penelitian termasuk penelitian preexperimental menggunakan desain one group pretest-posttest. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan soal tes objektif pilihan ganda sejumlah 30 butir soal. Data yang terkumpul dilakukan analisis ketuntasan belajar siswa, effect size, dan gain ternormalisasi. Hasil analisis ketuntasan klasikal hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan telah tercapai ketuntasan dalam hasil belajar. Analisis effect size menunjukkan model pembelajaran problem solving memiliki efek dengan kategori besar. Hasil analisis uji gain ternormalisasi terjadi peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran problem solving pada kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran problem solving tebukti efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. AbstractThe research aimed to measure the effectiveness of learning by applying the problem solving learning model. The research population was students of class XI TKR 2 SMKN 3 Bungo, Bungo Regency, Jambi Province, with a total of 24 students. Sampling using the total sampling technique so that the research sample was the entire population. This research included preexperimental research using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research instrument used multiple choice objective test questions with a total of 30 questions. The data collected was analyzed for student learning completeness, effect size, and normalized gain. The results of the classical completeness analysis of learning outcomes showed that completeness has been achieved in learning outcomes. The effect size analysis showed that the problem solving learning model has a large category effect. The results of the normalized gain test analysis showed an increase in student's ability to apply the problem solving learning model in the medium category. It was concluded that the application of the problem solving learning model proved to be effective in increasing learning outcomes.

Abstract

Research-based on problems in applying the learning model at SMKN 3 Bungo. This study aims to see the effectiveness of using the Problem Solving learning model at SMKN 3 Bungo. The learning model used is centered on the teacher, so student activity is still low. This type of research is a pre-experimental study using a one-group pretest post-test design. The research subjects were 24 students of class XI TKR 2 SMKN 3 Bungo. The research instrument is in the form of test questions in the form of objective questions. the data is analyzed through analysis of student learning completeness, effect size, and N-Gain. The results of this study indicate that the Problem Solving learning model effectively improves student learning outcomes in class XI TKR 2 at SMKN 3 Bungo, where 91.67% of students are declared to have completed it based on the KKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat keefektifan pengunaan model pembelajaran Problem Solving di SMKN 3 Bungo. Penelitian berdasarkan permasalahan dalam penerapan model pembelajaran yang diterapkan di SMKN 3 Bungo. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan terpusat pada guru, sehingga keaktifan siswa masih rendah. Jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian pre experimental menggunakan desain one group pretest posttest. Subjek penelitian merupakan siswa kelas XI TKR 2 SMKN 3 Bungo yan berjumlah 24 orang. Instrumen penelitian dalam bentuk soal tes dalam bentuk soal objektif. Data yang terkumpul, dianalisis melalui analisis ketuntasan belajar siswa, effect size dan N-Gain. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Solving efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI TKR 2 di SMKN 3 Bungo dimana sebesar 91,67 % siswa dinyatakan telah tuntas berdasarkan KKM.

Abstract

The student's desire to become a teacher is a factor that influences attitudes and motivation to attend lectures. High levels of interest in becoming a teacher will speed up the lecture process and influence student learning outcomes. The purpose of this correlational study is to determine the relationship between student learning outcomes in education courses and interest in becoming a teacher. The study was conducted on students from the FT UNP Automotive Engineering Education study program's 2018 class. The study was conducted on students from the FT UNP Automotive Engineering Education study program's 2018 class. The Pearson product moment correlation formula was used to analyze the data, and the t test was used to determine the significance of the correlation coefficient r. Based on the analysis of the research data, it was determined that there is a positive and significant relationship between desire to become a teacher and learning outcomes in student education courses.

Abstract

Energy is the initial driving source in the automotive field. Where in the automotive world there is renewable energy such as hydrogen gas. Hydrogen gas is a gas-shaped fuel that has the characteristics of colorless, tasteless, and odorless. Hydrogen gas can be produced by electrolysis of water (H2O). Where the electrolyte solution will be reacted using an electric current to produce hydrogen (H2) gas and oxygen gas (O). This study uses experimental research methods to determine the effect of variations in the number of electrode plates on the electrolizer on the volume and rate of HHO gas production using a measuring cup. The results showed that the effect of the variation in the number of electrode plates on the electrolyzer to the highest HHO gas volume occurred in the variation of 14 electrode plates with an increase of 33%.

Abstract

Learning requires supporting materials in the form of reliable teaching materials, one of which can be in the form of learning modules. So it is necessary to add project-based learning modules for the development of existing modules. The purpose of this research is to measure the validity, practicality, and effectiveness in the development of project-based heavy equipment technology modules. This research is included in the research and development (R&D) category, the ADDIE principle is used in this research model. Lecturers and students in automotive engineering were used as research subjects. The results of the project-based heavy equipment technology module development research fulfill the requirements of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. In its implementation, the validity aspect of module development scored 89.07% with very valid criteria, the practicality aspect scored 87.92% with very practical criteria. The knowledge test and skills test showed the effectiveness of module development, the results of the knowledge and skills test on 30 students achieved an average score of 86.67% with very high criteria.
