Abstract

The administrative burden arising from the preparation of the RPP is often a complaint of the teacher, not to mention the teacher's task in educating and teaching in the classroom which must also be prepared before teaching, therefore with the assistance of the preparation of the RPP 1 sheet is expected to be able to provide a solution in lightening the burden on the teacher without leaving the elements needed in learning. Based on the monitoring results, the partner schools of Elementary Surabaya want to cooperate in organizing the training activities. The method used is lecture and combined with Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the following steps: 1) Planning, 2) Implementation, and 3) Evaluation. The results of the service showed that there was success at the preparation and debriefing stage as well as FGD, 100% of subjects were able to identify the components included in the making of the lesson plans, at the demonstration and practice stages, 80% of subjects succeeded and succeeded in making and developing RPP 1 sheet correctly.

Abstract

Konsumsi minyak goreng di Indonesia terus mengalami peningkatan dari tahun ke tahun sehingga menyebabkan limbah minyak jelantah juga semakin meningkat. Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran warga Kelurahan Masangankulon, Sukodono, Sidoarjo khususnya Ibu-ibu PKK dan Karang Taruna akan dampak negatif dari minyak jelantah bagi kesehatan diri dan keluarga serta lingkungan sekitar. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan yaitu pendidikan masyarakat dengan tujuan untuk memberikan penyuluhan kepada warga khususnya Ibu PKK dari Kelurahan Masangankulon dengan harapan warga yang telah mendapatkan pemahaman mengenai dampak negatif minyak jelantah dapat meneruskan kepada warga lainnya. Kegiatan penyuluhan dan pelatihan ini dilaksanakan selama satu hari pada tanggal 6 Agustus 2023. Hasil dari PKM ini yaitu menambah wawasan pengetahuan dan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan bahaya dari minyak jelantah, serta pemanfaatannya sebagai produk ekonomis yaitu lilin aromaterapi terutama untuk masyarakat di Kelurahan Masangankulon Sukodono secara luring khususnya Ibu Pembinaan Kesejahteraan keluarga (PKK). Kegiatan penyuluhan dan pelatihan tentang pemanfaatan limbah minyak jelantah rumah tangga menjadi Lilin aromatherapy ini berlangsung kondusif dengan 90 orang peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini merupakan Ibu PKK adalah salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kepedulian masyarakat terhadap lingkungan, yang juga mampu menambah nilai ekonomi dari limbah yang dihasilkan tersebut serta memanfaatkan limbah minyak jelantah sebagai bahan baku tidak hanya pembuatan lilin aroatherapi tetapi produk yang lain seperti sabun cuci padat dan cair Dengan memanfaatan limbah minyak jelantah kehidupan manusia diri, keluarga dan Masyarakat serta ekosistem alam akan terjaga bukan dibuang sembarangan sehingga penyuluhan dan pelatihan di tingkat desa dapat meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya Kesehatan diri, keterampilan dan meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat

Abstract

Issues of social cohesion and interfaith tolerance are crucial in the context of diverse societies, including Bali, Indonesia, and Southern Thailand, which have experienced conflicts related to religious and cultural differences. This study aims to explore the role of multicultural Islamic education in strengthening social cohesion at Bali Bina Insani Islamic School (SI-BBI) and Phatnawitya School (PS). Utilizing a qualitative case study approach, this research employs in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation with school principals and teachers at both schools as primary data sources, which are then analyzed using descriptive-qualitative methods. The findings reveal that multicultural Islamic education at SI-BBI is implemented through the integration of local cultural values into the curriculum, such as the use of the Balinese language and the recruitment of Hindu teachers, as a form of acculturation that fosters social cohesion among the Muslim minority and Hindu majority in Bali. Meanwhile, at PS, multicultural Islamic education is applied with the inclusive principle of rahmatan lil alamin, incorporating cross-cultural learning and reinforcing tolerance values for students in the Muslim-majority but locally cultural region of Southern Thailand. These findings expand the understanding of Social Identity Theory from Henri Tajfel and John Turner, by demonstrating that multicultural education can reduce identity conflicts and strengthen social integration through learning that respects diversity. The implications of this research emphasize the need for educational policies that are friendly to religious and cultural diversity, which support the integration of multicultural values ​​in the education system in areas with potential for conflict. The multicultural Islamic education models in these two schools offer strategic frameworks for application in contexts of cultural and religious diversity, aiming to create sustainable social cohesion.

Abstract

Students are less motivated to follow the English learning process. The methods and approaches used by teachers are less interesting to students, still centered on the teacher. This study developed English board learning media, and to increase student enthusiasm and make it easier for teachers to transfer knowledge to students. English Board is expected to be fun, interesting, and motivating, and not make students bored when participating in English learning activities. The "English Board" learning media can increase student enthusiasm in learning and provide a pleasant learning experience for students. English Board media uses a research and development model. This study was only conducted in five stages, namely: 1) potential and problem stage, 2) data collection stage, 3) product design stage, 4) product validation stage, and 5) product revision stage. The results of the media validity obtained an average percentage of 89.77%, this result is included in the category of very good or very suitable for use in implementing English learning activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang penerapan program entrepreneurship yang berlaku di MINU Waru 1. Urgensi program kewirausahaan memiliki peranan penting dalam meningkatkan minat dan membentuk karakter berwirausaha dalam diri peserta didik. Program kewirausahaan ini berbeda dengan program pendidikan lainnya. Hal ini dikarenakan program kewirausahaan lebih difokuskan pada sikap, karakter, kemampuan dan mental peserta didik. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang input, proses dan output dalam makna implementasi entrepreneurship di MINU Waru 1. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini terdapat data utama (primer) dan data pendukung (sekunder). Sumber data primer pada penelitian ini adalah Kepala sekolah dan Waka Kurikulum. Sumber data sekunder penelitian ini meliputi buku-buku yang digunakan sebagai referensi, serta laporan-laporan dan jurnal ilmiah yang diakses melalui internet.Penerapan entrepreneurship di MINU Waru 1 mengarah pada dua aspek penting 1) jual beli, 2) penanaman nilai-nilai entrepreneur. Penerapan entrepreurship tentunya memberikan dampak positif bagi peserta didik, hal tersebut dapat diamati pada hasil setiap karya yang dibuat semakin baik dan beragam yang menandakan bahwa kemampuan kreativitas dan karakter berwirausaha peserta didik meningkat.

Abstract

This article successfully portrayed feminist Islamic education (Islamic education with a female face) at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at the Sunan Ampel State Islamic University FTK UINSA Surabaya. Through qualitative studies, the following exposure results were found. First, Islamic education at FTK UIN Sunan Ampel has a female face (Islamic feminine education). In the sense that the number of female students is more dominant compared to male students. This is related to the prospect of FTK making graduates as educators, while women's instincts are close to education. So the reason why many women choose the Tarbiyah and Teaching Faculty (FTK) as a place of study is because they want to become educators (teachers). This has resulted in the number of dominant women compared to men at FTK UIN Sunan Ampel. Second, the main motivation for women choosing to study at FTK UIN Sunan Ampel is because they are encouraged to become teachers. Encouragement sometimes arises from oneself, parents, family, or the environment. The majority of women who study at FTK aspire to become teachers. For them the teacher is a world that is close to women's instincts

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian R&D yang menghasilkan produk berupa media pembelajaran Zig-zag Learning Book atau Zook. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan media Zook. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Muhammadiyah 10 Surabaya. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu validasi, observasi, angket dan tes evaluasi. Hasil data dianalisis menggunakan skala likert dan skala guttman yang selanjutnya dihitung dengan rumus persentase sedangkan hasil tes menggunakan rumus mean. Hasil penelitian meliputi tiga hal meliputi hasil kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Kevalidan berdasarkan ahli materi diperoleh sebesar 90%, kegrafikan sebesar 86,7% dengan kategori sangat valid. Kepraktisan berdasarkan keterlaksanaan penggunaan media Zook sebesar 4,56 dengan kategori sangat baik. Keefektifan media Zook berdasarkan hasil respon siswa sebesar 95,4% dengan kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

This study aims to address the practice of preventing religious resistance through open teaching at Bali Bina Insani Islamic Educational Institution (LPI-BBI). The issue was addressed using qualitative research with data collection methods including interviews and documentation. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study show that the practice of preventing religious resistance through open teaching at LPI-BBI is carried out by adopting an open attitude, including employing Hindu teachers and staff. These Hindu teachers are actively involved in the teaching and learning process at LPI-BBI. This practice is rooted in the mindset that, in the context of religious diversity, harmony must be maintained, and religious resistance must be prevented. Open teaching is practiced as a strategy to prevent religious resistance, fostering a harmonious coexistence with the predominantly non-Muslim community in the area. Consequently, teachers and students in the institution exhibit tolerance, as reflected in their daily attitudes and behaviors within the institution. LPI-BBI is also well-received by the surrounding community, which predominantly adheres to Hinduism. This approach is significant and worthy of replication in other schools.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas model edukasi keluarga maslahah yang dikembangkan oleh Lembaga Kemaslahatan Keluarga Pengurus Wilayah Nahdlatul Ulama Jawa Timur sebagai respons terhadap tantangan sosial yang dihadapi keluarga Nahdliyin, seperti tingginya angka perceraian, krisis kesehatan mental, dan ketahanan ekonomi yang lemah. Menggunakan pendekatan Partisipatory Action Research (PAR), artikel ini menelaah proses pelaksanaan edukasi yang terbagi dalam empat siklus tematik: sunat perempuan dalam perspektif Islam dan antropologi hukum, keluarga mindful di bulan Ramadan, kesehatan mental sebagai fondasi kemaslahatan keluarga, dan ketahanan ekonomi keluarga. Setiap tema dikaji secara kritis dengan menggunakan pisau analisis maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah, teori ketahanan keluarga, dan pendekatan kesehatan masyarakat berbasis keluarga. Temuan artikel menunjukkan bahwa edukasi berbasis nilai-nilai Islam yang kontekstual dapat menjadi instrument yang strategis dalam membangun kesadaran kritis masyarakat untuk membentuk keluarga yang harmonis, sehat, dan tangguh. Program ini tidak hanya berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman peserta terhadap isu-isu keluarga, tetapi juga menumbuhkan partisipasi aktif komunitas dalam merumuskan solusi atas persoalan keluarga secara kolektif. Artikel ini berkontribusi pada literatur mengenai penguatan keluarga dalam konteks masyarakat Muslim Indonesia, dengan menawarkan model edukasi yang integratif antara nilai keislaman, pendekatan ilmiah, dan praktik sosial transformatif.
