Abstract

: Breast cancer is a malignant disease in the world and is the main cause of death from breast cancer among women. Breast cancer can be detected at an early stage which can be done by BSE. Even though the examination is based on existing guidelines and tutorials, with BSE more early stage breast cancer can be detected. However, teenagers feel afraid and feel that they lack knowledge regarding BSE.This community service aims to increase students' knowledge about the BSE method, increase the ability and skills to apply the BSE method independently, provide information boards in the UKS room. This activity involved 23 female students from SMAN 13 Maros. The approach method used is counseling and training on the BSE method.Breast cancer is a malignant disease in the world and is the main cause of death from breast cancer among women. Abstract

Nurse performance refers to the duties, authorities, and responsibilities nurses carry out to the best of their ability to achieve professional goals and unit targets. Based on the results of a survey by the Indonesian National Nurses Association (PPNI) in 2020, approximately 50.9% of nurses working in Indonesia experience work stress and experience the impact of physical workload, such as frequent dizziness, neck pain, and fatigue due to lack of sleep, due to excessive workload, and taking up time to rest. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between workload and work stress and nurses' performance at La Patarai Regional Hospital, Barru Regency. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test at a 95% confidence level (α = 0.05). The results showed that there was a significant relationship between workload variables and nurse performance (p = 0.015), stress variables based on psychological aspects also showed that there was a relationship between work stress and nurse performance (p = 0.003), and work stress variables based on physiological aspects also showed that there was a relationship between work stress and nurse performance (p = 0.019). These results confirm that high workloads and job stress will impact nurse performance. Hospital management is advised to manage workloads in a balanced manner and provide adequate support, both of which are crucial for maintaining and improving nurse performance.

Abstract

Anxiety disorders during pregnancy are prevalent mental health concerns that can affect both maternal and fetal outcomes. Valid and reliable screening tools are essential for early detection and intervention. This study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic performance of the Perinatal Anxiety Screening Scale (PASS) compared to MINI-ICD 10 as the gold standard in detecting anxiety disorders among pregnant women. A cross-sectional diagnostic accuracy study was conducted at Kaluku Bodoa Community Health Center, Makassar City, from October to November 2025. Eighty pregnant women attending antenatal care were recruited using purposive sampling. Data were collected through structured interviews using PASS and MINI-ICD 10 questionnaires. Diagnostic accuracy measures including sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), negative predictive value (NPV), and overall accuracy were calculated. The prevalence of anxiety disorders was 36.25% (n=29) based on MINI-ICD 10 and 53.8% (n=43) based on PASS. The majority of participants were aged 21-35 years (80%), had completed senior high school education (53.8%), and were housewives (77.5%). Most were in their third trimester (67.5%) and nulliparous (43.8%). PASS demonstrated good diagnostic performance with sensitivity of 86.21%, specificity of 64.71%, PPV of 58.14%, NPV of 89.19%, and overall accuracy of 72.5%. PASS showed acceptable diagnostic performance as a screening tool for anxiety disorders in pregnant women, with high sensitivity making it suitable for initial screening in primary healthcare settings. However, the moderate specificity suggests that positive screening results should be confirmed with gold standard diagnostic interviews.
