Abstract

This research aims to identify the types of students' learning activities, analyze the levels of learning activities, and analyze students' learning achievements in science lessons in terms of learning activities. This research was conducted at SDN 111/I Muara Bulian, involving one teacher and 28 class V students. This research adopts a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Research data was obtained through observations of the learning process in science subjects, interviews with the teacher and three class V students, and assessment of students' test results. Data analysis was carried out using thematic analysis techniques. The research results show that students' learning activities in class consist of 8 types, namely visual, oral, listening, writing, drawing, motoric, mental and emotional activities. Learning activities carried out by students have different percentage levels. Based on the results of observations, it is known that there are students who have met the learning activity indicators, but there are also students who have not met the indicator criteria so that visual activities obtained a percentage of 78.6%, oral activities 69%, listening activities 79.7%, writing activities 85.7%, drawing activities 75%, motor activities 77.5%, mental activities 67.9%, and emotional activities 67.8%. The learning achievements achieved by each student also vary. Students who are actively involved in the learning process get satisfactory learning achievements while students who are passive get unsatisfactory learning achievements. So, these learning activities influence the learning achievements obtained by students at the end of each lesson. This research provides a deeper understanding of learning achievement in terms of learning activities in science subjects. The results of the research can support student involvement in the learning process in science subjects so that student learning achievement can improve well.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in the teaching of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) on the topic "My Culturally Rich Indonesia" in Grade IV at SDN 55/I Sridadi, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its application. The CRT approach is used to create a contextual, inclusive, and meaningful learning process by integrating students’ cultural backgrounds into learning activities. This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving the classroom teacher, the principal, and fourth-grade students. The results of the study show that the teacher successfully designed and implemented culturally-based learning by connecting IPAS material with students’ local cultural experiences. Strategies used include the use of culturally-based learning media, the incorporation of folktales and regional songs, and engaging students in relevant cultural projects. Supporting factors in the implementation of CRT include the principal’s support, the flexibility of the Merdeka Curriculum, parental involvement, and the availability of local learning media. On the other hand, the challenges identified include limited instructional time, uneven student understanding of local culture, and the absence of specific teacher training on the CRT approach. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach is effective in enhancing student engagement, understanding, and appreciation of Indonesia’s cultural diversity. This approach also strengthens students’ cultural identity and creates a learning environment that values diversity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) melalui penggunaan media video animasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam bentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 36/1 Kilangan, yang berjumlah 14 orang. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan konsentrasi belajar peserta didik setelah penggunaan media video animasi. Pada siklus I, rata-rata skor konsentrasi peserta didik sebesar 60%, dan meningkat menjadi 77,67% pada siklus II. Media video animasi terbukti mampu menarik perhatian peserta didik, menyajikan materi secara menarik dan interaktif, serta memudahkan pemahaman konsep yang bersifat abstrak. Selain itu, penggunaan media ini juga meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih menyenangkan. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media video animasi dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan konsentrasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPAS di jenjang sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of using Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media on students’ learning interest in the solar system topic at the elementary school level. The research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects were 40 sixth-grade students of SDN 14/I Sungai Baung, consisting of an experimental class and a control class. Data were collected using a learning interest questionnaire administered before and after the treatment. The data were analyzed using paired sample t-tests and independent sample t-tests. The results indicated a significant difference in learning interest between students who participated in learning using AR-based media and those who received conventional instruction. The significance value of the independent sample t-test was 0.001 (< 0.05), indicating that AR-based learning media had a significant effect on students’ learning interest. Therefore, Augmented Reality-based learning media can be used as an innovative alternative to enhance elementary school students’ learning interest in IPAS instruction.

Abstract

Peningkatan literasi dan numerasi merupakan salah satu prioritas dalam pendidikan dasar di Indonesia. Program Magang Kependidikan Di SDN 011/VIII Muara Tebo ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi dan numerasi siswa di tengah keterbatasan fasilitas. Berdasarkan observasi awal, ditemukan berbagai tantangan, seperti rendahnya minat baca dan keterbatasan penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Program ini melibatkan kolaborasi antara mahasiswa, guru, dan siswa dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menyenangkan dan interaktif. Beberapa program yang dilaksanakan meliputi Pojok Baca, Restorasi Perpustakaan,Pohon Literasi, Polaroid Numerasi,Penggunaan teknologi melalui aplikasi seperti Quizizz, serta kegiatan berbasis permainan seperti Battle Game Numerasi dan Ular Tangga Literasi dan Numerasi. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan minat baca siswa minat siswa untuk mengunjungi perpustakaan,keterlibatan mereka dalam pembelajaran, serta pemahaman mereka terhadap konsep-konsep matematika dasar. Program ini menunjukkan pentingnya kolaborasi antar mahasiswa,guru, dan siswa dalam dalam memperbaiki kualitas pendidikan.

Abstract

This research  aims to describe the development process, level of validity, and level of practicality of interactive learning media assisted by Kodular on the material of energy transformation in grade IV of Elementary School. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the Lee and Owens development model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques are carried out through interview sheets, validation questionnaires by experts, and practicality questionnaires by teachers and students. The results of media validation were carried out in two stages with an average value of 4 with the "valid" category in the first stage and 4.46 with the "very valid" category in the second stage. Material validation also showed an increase from an average of 4.58 with the "very valid" category to 4.83 with the "very valid" category, while language validation increased from an average of 3.7 with the "valid" category to 4.5 with the "very valid" category after revision. In addition, the results of the practicality test can be seen based on the results of the teacher response questionnaire which obtained an average score of 4.8 with the category "very practical" and the student questionnaire showed that in the small group trial an average score of 4.26 was obtained with the category "very practical", and in the large group trial an average score of 4.38 was obtained with the category "very practical".

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-LKPD berbasis model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada pembelajaran IPAS materi siklus air yang valid dan praktis untuk siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 112/IX Maro Sebo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan angket. Hasil validasi menunjukkan tingkat kevalidan yang sangat tinggi, dengan persentase 97% dari ahli materi, 91% dari ahli bahasa, dan 90% dari ahli media, sehingga produk dinyatakan sangat valid dari aspek materi, bahasa, dan media. Hasil uji kepraktisan berdasarkan angket respon siswa memperoleh persentase 80% dan angket respon guru sebesar 90% dengan kategori sangat baik atau sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, E-LKPD berbasis model PBL yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran IPAS materi siklus air di kelas V sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I masih rendah, sehingga diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk mengatasinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh metode fonik terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I SDN 087/IV Kota Jambi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental tipe one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 32 siswa dari satu kelas. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes pretest dan posttest yang telah diuji validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, dan daya pembeda pada 23 siswa di luar sampel penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis (uji-t) untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada kemampuan membaca permulaan setelah penerapan metode fonik, ditunjukkan oleh hasil analisis dekriptif statistic rata-rata skor pretest 61,00 meningkat menjadi 75,38 yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan pretest. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa metode fonik berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa. Oleh karena itu, metode fonik direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam mendukung pengembangan kemampuan membaca permulaan di sekolah dasar.
