Abstract

Electromagnetic waves are a type of wave phenomenon. Electromagnetic waves are transverse waves that arise due to changes in electric fields and magnetic fields that oscillate with each other. Electromagnetic waves can be generated, one of the ways, from BTS towers so that they can produce intense electromagnetic field radiation. Health problems resulting from exposure to electromagnetic wave radiation cannot be felt directly. However, the longer you are exposed to electromagnetic wave radiation, the more dangerous it will be to your body's health. The aim of this research is to carry out mapping from measuring the intensity of electromagnetic field radiation in the BTS area and to determine the health impact of large electromagnetic field radiation on the surrounding community. Data processing in this research was carried out using quantitative techniques and qualitative techniques, namely by measuring the intensity of the electric field and magnetic field of electromagnetic waves and evaluating the results of the intensity of electromagnetic field radiation as well as conducting interviews as a public health survey. The data obtained in this research was processed using ArcGis and Surfer software for mapping results. Based on the evaluation and mapping results, it shows that the intensity of electromagnetic field radiation is still below the threshold value according to the 2020 ICNIRP standards. Based on the results of this research, there are no significant health effects occurring in the surrounding community.

Abstract

A tuning fork is a unique tool made of metal and shaped like the letter U, with one handle. Tuning forks can produce specific frequencies; usually, the value is written on the handle. This study aims to investigate the relationship between temperature and changes in tuning fork frequency and model it using polynomial regression. This research uses laboratory experiments with tuning forks with 341.3 Hz, 426.5 Hz, and 512 Hz frequencies. The temperature on the tuning fork varies from 30C to 220C with a difference of 10C. From the results of the study adjusted R-Square values sequentially 0.94745, 0.99565, and 0.97721, which stated the relationship between temperature and frequency changes. The Adjusted R-Square value close to 1 means that changes in temperature on the tuning fork greatly influence changes in the frequency produced by the tuning fork, and the polynomial regression model used is very suitable.

Abstract

The current injection method played an essential role in the data quality of impedance measurement using the electrical impedance tomography (EIT) technique. Previous studies have largely utilized only a single current injection method with limited interface access, which restricts the effectiveness of EIT systems. In this paper, a graphical user interface (GUI)-based data acquisition system was designed to improve user interaction and optimize the control system. The system was equipped with multiple current injection methods, allowing researchers to choose which method to use in the measurement process. The designed hardware comprises a V-to-I converter circuit, multiplexer, electrodes, peak detector, and filter circuit. Testing results indicate that the V to I converter circuit has an average peak difference between voltage and current of 4.86% and an average error of 0.69% in the peak detector circuit. The multiplexer circuit switches quickly and consistently, while the filter circuit remains stable at the 50 kHz frequency used in this study. These results demonstrate that the designed circuits perform adequately and effectively, ensuring reliable and accurate measurements.  Additionally, the data acquisition software, presented as a GUI, effectively facilitates the selection of current injection methods and the display of boundary data simulation (BDS) on the object. This is demonstrated by the spatial inhomogeneity patterns visible through BDS in both the adjacent and opposite methods

Abstract

Analysis of subsurface pore pressure is used to determine the potential problems that can occur in formation. The research purpose to determine subsurface pressure using the Eaton method and identify potential drilling problems, so prevention can be done to reduce accidents. Research on BD 325 wells is secondary data in the form of resistivity and density log data. Analysis of subsurface pressure is carried out using the Eaton method which results in normal pore pressure and pressure values. Based on the results of graph analysis, the pore pressure value shows the depth interval 3943.9 ft – 3949.1 ft pressure average 5.4 ppg, depth 4407.8 ft - 4417.6 ft pressure average 0.6 ppg, depth 4546.9 ft - 4554.8 ft pressure average 1.4 ppg, depth 4748.3 ft – 4753 ft pressure average 4.8 ppg and depth 5026.5 ft - 5033.7 ft pressure average 4.7 ppg where 5 zones experience subnormal pressure, so it can be concluded that the potential problems can occur lost circulation because the hydrostatic pressure of the mud is greater than the formation pressure which results in loss of drilling mud entering the formation.
