Abstract

In the Mobile Legends Bang Bang game, one aspect related to motion kinematics is the charging time for the hero Khufra, which influences the distance of displacement from the starting point to the endpoint. As a result, it is necessary to study the concept of kinematic motion in this game, particularly focusing on the use of Khufra's Tyrent's Revenge skill. This study aims to explore the concept of motion kinematics in Mobile Legends Bang Bang and examine how the charging duration of Khufra's Tyrent’s Revenge skill affects the displacement distance. The research utilizes data in the form of video recordings showcasing the use of Tyrent’s Revenge by Khufra in the game. The videos are analyzed using video tracking software that can generate visualization of graphs, time, and distance of movement. The data obtained is then entered into Excel software to determine the linear regression curve and calculate the R-Squared (R^2) value. The results of this research show that in the game Mobile Legends Bang Bang, the kinematics of motion can be described through the displacement distance of the Khufra’s hero from the starting point to the end point. The analysis results indicate a linear regression curve with the equation y = 0.4422x - 1.0723 and an R² value of 0.9757. A value of R2 approaching 1 indicates a strong influence of launch time on the displacement distance of Khufra’s hero.

Abstract

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the competence of high school physics teachers in East Kalimantan in using the Video Tracker software to support physics experiments. A total of 20 physics teachers participated with very high enthusiasm. The methods used in this activity included the Lecture Method, where participants were introduced to the basic theories and concepts of motion that can be analyzed using Video Tracker, the Demonstration Method, where the direct application of the software was shown to the participants, and the Assistance Method, where participants were guided step-by-step in conducting physics experiment simulations using Video Tracker. The results showed that teachers improved their skills in analyzing motion data using technology, which is expected to enrich the teaching process of physics in schools.

Abstract

This study introduces a reformulation of geometrical optics through the framework of Abelian U(1) gauge theory. By leveraging this novel approach, phase equations are derived, serving as the cornerstone for determining the trajectories of light rays. The proposed formulation is validated through simulations of light propagation in diverse scenarios, including homogeneous refractive index media, vacuum, anisotropic materials, and optical metamaterials. These results underscore the versatility and predictive power of this gauge-theoretic approach, opening new avenues for exploring and modeling complex optical phenomena.

Abstract

A tuning fork is a unique tool made of metal and shaped like the letter U, with one handle. Tuning forks can produce specific frequencies; usually, the value is written on the handle. This study aims to investigate the relationship between temperature and changes in tuning fork frequency and model it using polynomial regression. This research uses laboratory experiments with tuning forks with 341.3 Hz, 426.5 Hz, and 512 Hz frequencies. The temperature on the tuning fork varies from 30C to 220C with a difference of 10C. From the results of the study adjusted R-Square values sequentially 0.94745, 0.99565, and 0.97721, which stated the relationship between temperature and frequency changes. The Adjusted R-Square value close to 1 means that changes in temperature on the tuning fork greatly influence changes in the frequency produced by the tuning fork, and the polynomial regression model used is very suitable.

Abstract

The current injection method played an essential role in the data quality of impedance measurement using the electrical impedance tomography (EIT) technique. Previous studies have largely utilized only a single current injection method with limited interface access, which restricts the effectiveness of EIT systems. In this paper, a graphical user interface (GUI)-based data acquisition system was designed to improve user interaction and optimize the control system. The system was equipped with multiple current injection methods, allowing researchers to choose which method to use in the measurement process. The designed hardware comprises a V-to-I converter circuit, multiplexer, electrodes, peak detector, and filter circuit. Testing results indicate that the V to I converter circuit has an average peak difference between voltage and current of 4.86% and an average error of 0.69% in the peak detector circuit. The multiplexer circuit switches quickly and consistently, while the filter circuit remains stable at the 50 kHz frequency used in this study. These results demonstrate that the designed circuits perform adequately and effectively, ensuring reliable and accurate measurements.  Additionally, the data acquisition software, presented as a GUI, effectively facilitates the selection of current injection methods and the display of boundary data simulation (BDS) on the object. This is demonstrated by the spatial inhomogeneity patterns visible through BDS in both the adjacent and opposite methods
