Abstract

Pemberian antioksidan dapat menjadi salah satu upaya mengatasi stress oksidatif. Salah satu antioksidan yaitu vitamin . Metode penelitian bersifat quasi eksperimen dengan pre and post test without control. Teknik sampel consecutive sampling. Kata kunci: Glukosa Darah, Pasien diabetes mellitus Tipe 2, Vitamin C   Giving antioxidants can be an effort to overcome oxidative stress. One of the antioxidants is vitamins. Vitamin C is a good antioxidant and helps inhibit free radical activity and contributes to increasing the amount of insulin, preventing a decrease in beta cell mass and reducing glucose toxicity, modulating insulin action in DM patients, especially in non-oxidative glucose metabolism. This study aimed to determine the effect of vitamin C supplements on fasting blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The research method is quasi-experimental with pre and post-test without control—consecutive sampling technique. Abstract

This research aims to describe the resolution of divorce cases for prisoners. The research uses qualitative with a normative juridical and sociological approach. The data source in the research comes from interviews with Heads of Correctional Institutions, Officers and Prisoners. The results of the research show that 1) Divorce processes involving prisoners as defendants often present decisions in the form of verstek decisions because prisoners or convicts are serving their sentences in prison. Because of their absence and without representing their attorney, the Legal Council will decide the case in verstek. The Defendant's limitations in attending the trial result in the principle of justice not being fulfilled for prisoners or inmates in defending their rights at trial. 2) The factors that influence the divorce of inmates at the Class II A Palopo Penitentiary are largely attributed to economic pressure, as well as a lack of social support from the community, which is why the wife asks for a divorce. 3) Efforts to facilitate the process of resolving inmate divorce cases at the Class II A Palopo Penitentiary are a) Meeting economic needs, prisoners' wives have difficulty financing the improvement in life skills that must be provided or facilitated. b) family and community support. c) Accepting that the Justice Council will decide the case in verstek because there are no provisions in the statutory regulations that regulate prisoners or convicts being able to attend divorce trials.

Abstract

This study examines the reconstruction of judicial mediation processes through the lens of critical discourse analysis, focusing on the implementation of maslahat principles at the Palopo Religious Court. The research investigates how Islamic jurisprudential concepts of maslahat (public interest/benefit) can be integrated into contemporary judicial mediation practices to enhance conflict resolution effectiveness within the Indonesian religious court system.  Using critical discourse analysis methodology, this study analyzes the linguistic patterns, power dynamics, and ideological frameworks embedded in judicial mediation discourse at the Palopo Religious Court. The research explores how judges construct meaning through language while incorporating maslahat-based approaches in their mediation processes, examining both explicit and implicit discursive strategies that shape dispute resolution outcomes. The findings reveal significant opportunities for reconstructing mediation processes by systematically integrating maslahat principles into judicial discourse. The analysis demonstrates how judges can employ maslahat-oriented language and reasoning to facilitate more culturally relevant and ethically grounded mediation sessions. The study identifies key discursive patterns that either support or hinder the effective application of maslahat in judicial mediation contexts.  The research contributes to understanding how Islamic legal principles can be meaningfully incorporated into modern judicial practices through careful attention to discursive construction. The reconstruction model proposed emphasizes the importance of aligning judicial language with maslahat values to achieve more equitable and contextually appropriate dispute resolution outcomes.  This study provides practical insights for religious court judges seeking to enhance their mediation practices through maslahat-based approaches while maintaining procedural integrity within the Indonesian legal system. The findings suggest that critical discourse analysis offers valuable tools for understanding and improving the integration of Islamic jurisprudential principles in contemporary judicial mediation processes.

Abstract

Online shopping addiction has become a significant behavioral issue among university students, driven by the rapid growth of digital marketplaces and the pervasive influence of social media. This study examines the role of Islamic values, social influence, and self-regulation in predicting online shopping addiction, with consumptive behavior as a mediating factor. Employing a quantitative correlational design, data were collected from 160 university students in Palopo City, Indonesia, and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings reveal that stronger self-regulation and higher adherence to Islamic ethical principles significantly reduce both consumptive behavior and online shopping addiction, while greater social influence increases susceptibility to compulsive purchasing. The study highlights that moral-ethical frameworks, particularly Islamic values, combined with psychological resilience and social awareness, are essential in mitigating excessive digital consumption. By integrating perspectives from behavioral science, social theory, and Islamic ethics, this study offers theoretical and practical contributions for higher education institutions, policymakers, and digital platform designers to promote responsible online shopping practices among youth in religiously rooted societies.

Abstract

Designing bureaucratic reforms is not only about simplifying the bureaucratic structure, but the main thing is to change the mindset and bureaucratic culture patterns in governance. Therefore, reinventing Government is implemented into the government system. This study aims to analyze reinventing Government in the innovation of the Palopo City regional government and the strategy for developing regional innovation. This type of qualitative descriptive research is used to analyze and examine Reinventing Government in the Innovation of Regional Government Bureaucracy. Data collection in the fields through observation, interviews with innovation innovators, community users of innovation services, those responsible for the Palopo City Regional Innovation Index, and focused group discussions with public policy experts, and documentation, the data obtained are then analyzed by data reduction, displaying data, concluding conclusion, and verification. The study results indicate that regional innovations made in Palopo City are based on the principles of Reinventing Government, such as catalytic Government, mission-driven Government, results-oriented Government, decentralized Government, and anticipatory Government. However, the principles of reinventing governance, such as customer-oriented Government, community-owned and market-oriented Government, and entrepreneurial Government, have not been wholly implemented because the regional innovations created are individual, so it is hopefully that collaborative innovation can be applied to develop new ideas and creative solutions in regional Government.
